:P I'm leaving the baby's presence in the RP up to Nightwing. It's a part of him, but he could either be alone or with his daughter.

Hm. Just wondering, but would it have been possible for our characters to have already looted a supply crate (No weapons, just various supplies like a box of MREs for example)? Or are we starting completely fresh?Curious, since my character is stated in a manner where he would be one of the faster and more able parkourers around.

We are starting out fresh, but that doesn't mean your character can't have something similar to an MRE, as long as it is explained. (In this case, maybe the group beforehand gave some to your character due to a favor he/she had done for them) Though, said character can also be a very capable parkourer, based on past training and other such before anyone is elected into a group of scavengers.

So, mine character is gonna be a weakling, so I'm not assigning any points to parkour. But stamina will have 2, do I still put another point to parkour?

Alright, before I officially accept you I must let you know of a few things that I'm a bit worried about.

I like the fact that your character has a young child, I feel it brings a bit more diversity into the roleplay, but how will the cold survive when her father is away scavenging? Does he take her with him? Or is there someone in the camp he leaves her with?

If you take the child with you, that can pose a threat to her, but by doing so, you'd know where she was at all times. As well as a threat to those around you, if at any time she were to cry out, your location would be exposed, and along with it, the group.

On another note, your .37 is slightly overbearing to start off with. However, I will allow it due to the ammunition cut that it will have. I'm not the type for quick and easy zombie kills, I want this rp to be hard, but not complicated. So, other than that, you are fine.

Yes, you would add a point to your parkour skills. As that does go in hand with stamina. I would recommend however, that you use all of the 25 points available (even if you're going for a weaker character), it will most definitely help you. Especially if you were to get caught after dark.

I can take away the gun, free up some space and weight in the backpack.

As for the child:

I was thinking two options: Either his wife and daughter are missing, and he's constantly looking for hints on their whereabouts, or his wife is dead and he has his daughter to take care of. If the case is the second, he leaves her at camp with an old friend of his wife. This could lead to the baby being kidnapped or killed during a raid, I understand that. But it's so much safer in a camp than out there.

Though having the baby out there would be sooo cool!

The gun will be allowed, but keep in mind, after using up your bullet, it may be hard to acquire more. Especially this early on.

As for the young girl, I definitely understand where you're coming from. In this case, it seems you've well thought of the risks and have come to terms with them. Therefore, she will be allowed to be in the roleplay. It would provide a little bit of relief in this dark world.

Frettzo, I am glad to say that your character's have been accepted!

Awesome! So, do you prefer the baby to be with the group, or at camp? Because I can do both :p

I think that overall, that decision is yours to make Frett. But, if it were me, I'd probably let her stay at camp with someone that could be trusted.

Which also reminds me, I should have the prominent NPC character's up tomorrow, just so you can get a feel for them. And don't worry, they aren't all bad.

I'm not entirely comfortable with the Molotov. In fact, I'm not sure it would help you too much in a tense situation unless the zombies were distracted somehow and clumped together. But that would leave Aleccio with nothing to really do until then. His strength doesn't bode well with close-combat, and will shorten his throwing distance. He seems better fitted as a scout with a weapon that wouldn't be too heavy, but something durable. If you really want to keep the Molotov, you can. But I'm giving you that warning to help you, it won't do much good.

Also, I'm not sure if its just because I'm on my iPod or not, but I can't seem to see your characters image..?

Also, I'm sorry for asking.. But what exactly is this "tube?" Is it a pipe, or.. Is it anything specific?

Yeah, just fixed that. :P

To be completely honest, I had just been playing some CoD and the thing crossed my mind, but yeah, you're right, a wimp like him wouldn't have a chance to kill zombies with something of the like. xD Gonna edit it. ^.^

And yeah. that's a pipe, the friggin word escaped my fingers as I was writing his weapons down.

Cori, despite her big-headedness, is a very light hearted and playful person, usually the one to lighten a dark and sombre mood. She'll talk to people as if she'd known them forever, regardless of who they are, and will often crack jokes or playfully tease them. She seldom gets angry, so finding her in a sour mood is rare, and can be considered frightening as she goes on a warpath and will down anything and anyone in her way, so it would be best to just let her let off steam rather than try console her.

So yeah. If it's overkill, just point the things that need to go.
Name: Adrian Fong
Age: 22
Gender: Male

Description/Appearance: Stands at 5'11 making him a bit taller than average. His build is a bit thin, frail even, but there is certainly muscle in the right place to indicate a runner. His hair and eyes are both black, and his skin is getting the slightest of tans from days out running.

Weapons: He’d love to have something more than a survival knife, but really doesn’t feel like poking his eye out, or worse, when it comes to heavy parkouring. With his luck it would probably happen.

Equipment: He does have a personal safe “house”, although calling it safe might be pushing it. It’s a room on the third floor of a building which has had it’s first staircase knocked out and the second blocked off. The door has been blocked off with furniture, leaving the window as the only viable entrance available. It’s not a particularly hard jump, if someone knows what they’re supposed to do. Hint: you don’t try to crash through that narrow opening, that’s just asking for horrible things to happen. He keeps most supplies and equipment here, bringing out only the bare minimum.
  • His method of transporting supplies is a durable, shock absorbent protector case. Managed to loot one from a store. Doesn’t hold as much as most backpacks would, but at the very least he can toss or drop it and not worry about whatever is inside breaking. Also makes for a fairly decent blunt weapon.
  • His method of carrying any supplies is two leg holster bags. They wrap around the thigh and hip, keeping each to the side and out of the way if he ever needs to roll or the like. They’re small, but have enough room for a MRE, a few energy bars, a canteen, along with a few other knick knacks like a compass and what not.
  • Is rather comfortable in heat, so he wears a windbreaker, for some protection against any bad weather, along with cargo pants. Easy to move around in, with plenty of pockets for stuffing small, durable goodies into. Although his windbreaker does have a hoodie, he prefers to stick with a cap; it limits his vision less.
  • He keeps a heavy-duty mini-LED flashlight in his windbreaker at all times. Same with a map. Ditto goes for a multi-tool. Batteries are probably mixed in there somewhere too. A watch is on his wrist because knowing how much time he has before night hits is a rather good thing. Oh right, some heavy duty rope is useful, and duct tape. Oh duct tape...
Personality: Simply put, two-faced. One is the mask he wears when he steps outside of his safe house. Pragmatic and realistic, even to the point of being cold or callous towards others in need, although not to the point of being a contemptible bastard. He’ll save and help people if he can, but if the odds aren’t in his favor, don’t be surprised if he bails. Perhaps a bit too serious for some peoples’ tastes, but taking it easy doesn’t keep people alive, at least in his opinion.

When he's alone though he's much more open, in the sense that he doesn't try to steel himself or control his emotions as much. For the most part he just seems weighed down by all the changes he's had to adapt to. On particularly harsh days his composure slips even further, but it's not something that happens too often.

Attributes:
  • Strength: 2
  • Stamina: 10
  • Health: 2
  • Dexterity: 4
  • Sense: 6
  • Charisma:1
Skills:
  • Automotive Machinery: 1
  • Barter: 1
  • Gunning: 0+(1)=1
  • Melee: 1
  • Lockpicking: 4+(1)=5
  • Parkour: 6+(5)=11
  • Stealth: 8
  • Survival: 10
  • Technical: 4+(4)=8

Achievements: None yet.

Brief History: Adrian is a rather average individual who just happened to get caught up, with the rest of the world, in its apocalypse. He worked as a cook in the restaurant his family owned, way back up north in, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It wasn't any five star shop, but it was in a good location and well-established. Things had gotten a bit harder after his mother passed away, and for a while the possibility of closing down had been quite real. Still, with Adrian devoting his time towards the family business things stabilized and eventually began to pick up. While his father didn't like the fact that he abandoned higher education, Adrian didn't mind too much; he had never looked forward to university or college, and if his work meant his siblings could go if they wanted to then it was worth it. His younger sister and brother are hassles, as younger siblings always are, but he loves and trusts them dearly nevertheless.

It was supposed to be a nice vacation, the first one he had in five years now, but nope — zombies had to show up and everything had to go to hell. Just brilliant.

Alright Emuxe, your character is accepted, I'll list you as a Co-Gm on the chart.
Zombehs, I'll allow the safe house. Though during the night, I'm not too certain how that kind of building would hold up when the mutants come out. Another thing that I'm a little off on is the extremely durable case, it will be allowed, but I'll only allow a minimum of two items, and if they're small, three. Keep in mind though, it may be durable, but cases are generally harder to move around with; which you can counter with your parkour skills. It will rattle though, that's a given.

Otherwise your character is fine: if you agree to the limitations, he'll be allowed.

Yeah, it's meant to be a small case. No larger than a suitcase internally, although likely a bit bulkier due to the added protection. So enough for a change of clothes wrapping around a basic medical kit, or something similar in size, and something else. I still think it would be easier to throw a case up onto a ledge while jumping for it, or dropping one during a fall to roll, than trying to do the same with a backpack. And in case of emergency, it can serve as a decent blunt weapon. And eh, the rattling would depend what he stores inside the case.

As for the safe house, yeah it's mostly supposed to be a hideout rather than a fortress. He's not supposed to bail to it with a horde on his tail like the main character does in one of the demos.

If a "Tank/Ram" comes knocking, he's going to have to bail of course, but I doubt regular Infected will have the attention span to break or figure their way through. Night Hunters/Volatile are another story. I'm not sure, but I think they're shown briefly in the sewers where they manage to tackle down one of the survivors, but ultimately fall to their doom. If that's the case I doubt they'll be smart enough to figure out the proper way into Adrian's safe house, or physically capable enough to simply jump across the gap.
