Bessie looked up from her book and at Uriko who was the closest person friend she had if she had a friend. She might be a bit of a rebel but Uriko was a nice rebel.

"Actually, Uriko, I'll be glad when the two weeks are up. I dread meeting those boys. They probably are renegades or worse. Teaching full grown boys how to cook, clean, do laundry and basic class skills mean that they must be some of the slowest males on Earth. If I am right then I definitely will not find any kind of a boyfriend let alone a husband. I'll most likely be single for the rest of my life." Bessie spoke softly before returning to her book again.

Bessie spoke softly before returning to her book again.

Uriko taps the book, she can't leave Bessie on a note like that.
"Bes. Don't be so hard on yourself, most boys don't know how to clean, cook,do laundry or do basic class skills. That's why women have to take care of all of those things most of the time, so that they don't keel over and die. You could shape one of them into a proper husband if you used some tough love on them, maybe bend a few rules. I'm sure those books have given you a few ideas on that matter."
Uriko chuckles, before speaking again.
"So, Bes, what are you reading today? What's it about?"
That was a question Uriko asked every time Bessie was reading a book she hasn't seen and wanted to say she was done talking with Bessie for now at the moment. So Bessie could rest easy.

"All the males that I know seem to think that all a female is good for is to cook and clean unless she to keep his bed warm which I will not do. I am reading a new book about magic and a girl who discovered the magic source. Wouldn't it be cool to have magic ability?"

Bessie gave up on reading her and put a bookmark in her book. She carefully put her book in the duffle bag. She looked towards Uriko and frowned.

"Uriko, what do you mean by 'bend the rule'? I never ever even dreamed of breaking a rule or bending one..... I have no clue as to ..... shape one of them into a proper husband. That sounds like I am training a puppy or something." Bessie spoke in a puzzled
voice. "By the time a person gets our age, I would think that the person would all ready be set in their ways. If that is true then someone would not change his or her ways. That is my opinion."

Uriko raises her eyebrows once she put her book away, it's rare enough for her to do that. Seems she's interested.
"Magic, I'd be cool Bes, but all we got is our strength and minds... Well if they are so set in their ways how are we able to train them in the first place Bes. If you're setting out for a man here, you'd add a little something to the training they won't notice... So you're right it's exactly like training a puppy, Pavlov's theory of conditioning is made for this. You do something and condition them to do it to the point it's natural to them. Throw in unconditional stimuli and you'll shape them without them knowing it. Same goes for me, but I did it to myself on purpose. Proper training requires it."
There is a glimmer in Uriko's eyes
"But yea, I agree with ya. Not going to be some man's concubine. I'll be giving them the work around instead."

Bessie listened with an open mind. She thought to herself for a bit before speaking.

[b]"Well.... it might be worth a try. These guys need to have some instruction so I could put a little effort in some extra training IF and only IF one of the guys seem to be worth retraining. I'll have to think on how to help one of them and know the guy a bit before I can really set up a short course on how survive..... no I'll call it Academy Survival course. Males like battle terms so why not try to put it in their own terms? Perhaps it is worth a try so I'll try to retrain one of them. And on his terms if I can figure out his terms." [b] Bessie spoke thoughtfully.

"That's the spirit Bes. Lets make this fun!"
Uriko looks around. Where are the other girls? Shouldn't they be on the bus by now.
"Ara, the rest of the girls better not be late, it's important for a plan of attack before we start."

Hermessent/Hermonia

As pain as it was to admit her faults, Hermessent detested public transportation. It was loud and often sticky, and she always felt as though someone was watching her. Usually attention was all but welcome, but this kind of attention was different. It was oppressive. Stifling. The same kind that forced her to follow laws to the letter and never misbehave. Such order... It was repulsive.

Speaking of watching eyes, she had spotted the loud mouth on the boat ride over earlier. What was her name? Umiko? Uritama? Ursula? Something like that, but more annoying... Ah, right! Uriko the irritating. Planting a smile on her pretty face, her cold and hollow eyes held nothing but distant distaste for the other girl. And it appeared as though she'd be seeing more of her too, since they were on the same bus to the same tutoring gig as well. Wonderful.

The irritating one seemed to fancy a bit of a mindless conversation with the ever quiet Bessie. It was almost too generous of the bookish little mundane. For surely the skittish thing was too intelligent for such idle gossip. Sitting all by herself, the once she-demon chose to try an ignore the girls' conversation. Looking out the window, Harmonia wound a lock of her long dark hair around her finger. If humans spent less time chattering they might actually be useful in achieving their own goals. Gossiping was all well and good, but actions were what defined the world's future.

Drienuhn/Darien

Drienuhn watched his brother closely. It wasn't as if he trusted any of his brothers. He wasn't that dimwitted. But all he had asked of his brother was to tell him about the dizzying symbols on the tag. For surely there was some hidden meaning to the strange thing. And so when his brother told him their meaning, it was all confirmed. A human name for a human life.

"Darien," he murmured in his soft wind of a voice, "It is similar to 'Drienuhn', but you are right, brother. It sounds lacking and empty."

Human names... They were short enough, so they should be easier to remember and yet there was a strange magic to them. So many humans were named exactly the same thing, only differing in the second or third name they carried. A confusing hassle. Drienuhn was glad to only have the single one though. He'd never be able to remember anything more than one.

Reclaiming the tag, he sat in one of the oddly plush chairs provided near the severed oculus of a tale-teller. With a small sighed he leaned back and closed his eyes. Just for a moment...just one....moment...

May Chandler

An annoying buzzing was quickly silenced as a young girl rolled herself out of bed. Truly, the alarm was unnecessary, as May had not slept a wink the last five hours. Her anxiety had been getting to her even since she found out about this two week excursion. She had never been asked to participate in such an activity before and had little idea of what to expect. She had heard from other girls on campus that such things went on, but this seemed to be a special case. However, May was confused as to why exactly she, of all people, had been one of the chosen few. She was nothing special. It's true she did well academically, but that's because she obsessed over getting good grades. She didn't necessarily have to be the best, but she strived to do her best. It often frustrated her to see how some people in her class didn't take school as seriously as she did, especially given the school they attended.

Rubbing her eyes, May made her way to her desk, where she had laid out her uniform the night before. It was bright and pink with long sleeves. Cute, in a sense, if you liked flamingos. The length of everything was the real issue though. Wearing such a long garment made her feel like a child playing dress up because of her short stature. Regardless, she undressed and slipped it on before carefully going over her lists again. Yes, that's right. Lists. She had not one, not two, but three lists of items to bring with her. May always came prepared. Physically anyway, not mentally. Mentally she was a train wreck. Her constant worrying was bound to give her an ulcer and could only ever be satiated by detailed planning. Actually, she didn't even need to go over anything again. She had been packed for days and went over everything at least three times yesterday.

Afterward, May finished up her morning routine and braided her hair. Normally, she would also have eaten, but her anxiety left her with no appetite. She knew she should eat something anyway, but it just wasn't going to happen today. The idea of food, in her current state, repulsed her.

Finally, the blonde slung her backpack over her shoulders and headed out the door. Being dragged along behind her was a large teal suitcase with a red duffle bag precariously placed on top. She could have taken two trips, but she didn't trust anyone not to take something. She also could have even just asked for someone's help, but she always felt she had something to prove. It had a lot to do with her height, really. Call it a complex if you will, but standing at only five feet tall hindered her in a lot of ways and she hated it. She felt she should be able to do everything on here own, but in actuality that's not practical. While May would never believe it, she probably suffered from the same delusions as most sixteen year olds.

Eventually, May made her way out to the bus. Once there, she was faced with the task of lugging her luggage up the steps without dropping something or hurting herself. For this short distance, she took two trips and tetrised her belongings on the right seat of the second row. May then say herself in the same row across the way so she could see both her luggage and whoever was entering the bus. She had seen two girls already in the back but she didn't really know either of them. Recognizing them from around campus was as good as it got.

However, Hermonia she knew. May had read the names of the other girls who were chosen, but only knew of Hermonia. She had few interactions with her personally, but so many of the girls yammered on and on about her that she'd probably heard her name at least once a day. Hermonia was definitely beautiful, May would give her that. She was tall, which May envied, and had gorgeous, long, dark hair. However, she was going to try to save all other judgement until she actually spent time with the woman. If she was as great as everyone claimed, then they shouldn't have any issues.

For now, however, she wasn't going to attempt to approach everyone. After all, May wasn't very social. Her snarky attitude and smart ass comments didn't make her many friends. She thought herself to be rather humorous however.

Taelor ✬ August

Before he could even reply to Chobach, the demon had already shuffled out of the kitchen to brood on a seat before the black panel on the wall. Taelor pouted- he hated to be ignored- and raised his voice so his brothers could hear him over the droning panel, alive now with colors,

"I've put much thought into it, brother-" not really, "and I think-" he looked around the room and spotted a leaflet hung on the wall, segmented into 30 or so squares and labeled "August 2015" at the top,

"August. Yep. August would be a nice name. Arden August."

The improvised name sounded nice enough as he mulled it over in his mind. He strode over and sat on the arm of Chobach's chair, snatching the remote from his brother,

"So this is the device that controls the panel- bend to my will!" He exclaimed as he pressed the volume button. The narrators voice filled the room-

The pomeranian is one of the most highmaintenance of the dog breed- Nathans pom is named Fluffelina and today she has her first nail appointment.

Taelor, in his haste to undo whatever he did, fumbled the remote- it fell out of his hands and back onto Chobach's lap.

"I've angered it!" His hands flew up to the sides of his face as he fretted, "Brother what do I do?"

Bessie was going to speak but another girl boarded the bus. She decided to say nothing more and simply nodded at the girl before looking out the window. Her wandered to the guys that they were going to train. She heard of guys that were from the big cities. Those type of guy were usually part of gangs. Gangs tended to be involved in fights over nothing worth fighting over. Many participants and bystanders get hurt in fights and sometimes even die. These kinds of guys wear their scars as badges of courage for some odd reason. Suddenly Bessie shuddered.

She glanced around in hope of perhaps seeing who else was going to be include in this trip into the unknown and unpredictable experience of tutoring strange guys.

The sponsor of this particular tutoring project was waiting for all five chosen girls to arrive on the bus before he went on. He did not need notes because it will come from his heart. If he messed up.... well let's say that his skin would be fried off and his insides would be delicately exposed.

Skeixura / Sky

Groaning, Skeixura gently raised his hand to block his eyes from the cursed light that filtered in through the blinds of his room. Earth was truly a wretched place where even the great fire in the sky, which they named the Sun for some odd reason, could burn your skin and annoy your eyes. Whoever deemed it to be a good idea was clearly a fool.

Sitting up and peeking around, he inspected his room. The first major problem was the bed, of course - it was a single bed. Single beds were utterly useless in his opinion; after all, how could you possibly be so rude as to ask three different females to share that small space? Pitiful! The meagre state of his bedding was perfectly mirrored by the poor quality room he had been gifted. It was the size of a broom closet with a simple wardrobe and some weird devices which Skei didn't recognise. It would definitely take some getting used to, this life that he had been cursed with.

Rising onto his feet, he stretched, his refined muscles rippling as he admired himself in the mirror. He was the personification of male sexuality so of course he was an easy sight upon the eyes. Once he was significantly satisfied with staring at himself in the mirror, he turned towards the odd contraptions that littered his desk. The first that caught his attention was an odd box with buttons on it, numbered from zero to nine. On the side, another part was attached by some sort of cord making Skei think it to be some sort of weapon. "This will indeed be useful..." He murmured, hoping that it was his father who had gifted him with such a weapon. It was no secret to the Demon Prince that his father loved him the most so it only seemed obvious for him to supply him with a means to kill off his competition.

It was only when he lifted this weapon that he was proven painfully wrong. The part that was attached by the cord seemed to hiss with an annoying buzzing noise. It didn't sound like a blade blessed with hellfire - it sounded much more like some of the demons that inhabited the darker caves of the underworld. Maybe this was the one that his father had dispatched to spy on him. Frowning, he raised the part to his ear so he could listen better. It indeed sounded like a foul demon.

"Listen for I will not repeat myself, evildoer! I warn you now, leave this place and never return lest I smite you down and curse the land upon which you crawl so that the spawn of your spawn and all who follow after them may never walk your lands again! Heed my words!"

In his anger, Skei yanked at the cable, pulling it out and suddenly causing the buzzing noise to disappear. Satisfied that he had indeed sent away the spy that was sent to watch him, the young Demon Prince smiled to himself and let the room to meet his brothers in the main living area.

"Brothers! I have already rooted out a demon father sent to haunt us! I recommend you find the contraption that looks like a weapon in your room and throw a few foul threats at it! If the bastard knows what's good for him, he'll leave!"

Acacia Blackwell

A knock at her door dragged Acacia from the light, nightmare-prone sleep she had been cursed with for the past week since she heard of her new duties. Acacia was a proud girl and she believed in her own abilities but when even an ounce of pressure was placed on her shoulders, she regularly was incapable of dealing with it. The duties she had been tasked with sounded like hell. Not only would she have to teach a bunch of baboons in the hopes that they got something into their thick skulls but she would also have to contend with the other four girls that had been selected for the trip. Namely Hermonia, whom she despised.

Of course, she had heard all the rumours about the boys. Apparently, they were the sons of some rich fellow and they had gotten themselves in some serious trouble with allegations of rape and drugs. They were then sent to the military academy in hopes that it would straighten them up. Although it sounded outlandish, it made perfect sense and it completely terrified Acacia. Another thing about the red-head was that she had her own little bubble. Her world existed in that bubble and she was comfy with. All the other students also existed in that bubble and she was ok with that as well. Acacia never wandered from her bubble and that was good. But then there had to be some people who just came and popped her bubble and she was beginning to feel like these boys were some serious bubble-poppers, not to mention the others things they probably enjoyed popping - barbarians, the lot of them.

Planting her face in her pillow, she groaned loudly before sliding onto her feet and stretching out. Five foot, three inches and not an inch above it. She was satisfied with her height because it never regularly got in the way plus it made people undermine her capabilities. Acacia was frail, small and almost pale white so people never really valued just how much bite she had under those red locks of hers. That was their downfall.

Standing in front of her mirror, she frowned at herself, casually running a hairbrush through her wild tangles before giving up - they were nigh on impossible to tame. Casting her eyes over to her uniform, she frowned against. Pink was an awful colour in her books (mainly because it just didn't go with her hair) so she disliked the prissy little thing but unfortunately, she had no choice in the matter. A few minutes later, after stripping down, she was dressed and ready to go.

I think it would be best to mention now that Acacia was a Blackwell, an influential family of British nobility that had migrated to America and found massive success. She was proud to be part of such a family but being the future matriarch just caused a knot in her stomach every time she thought of it.

Acacia simply carried a bag slung over her back as she walked out towards the bus. A member of staff had been ordered to carry her bags which she felt ok with - it allowed her time to think and more importantly, strengthen her resolve.

"You are a Blackwell." She told herself in a whisper, frowning at the ground. "Some pompous, private schoolboys can do nothing to you." The servant gave her an odd look but stayed silent until they finally reached the bus. Once her bags were safely placed on the vehicle, he gave her a hopeful smile.

"Good luck, Miss! I'm sure you'll do wonderful! I will inform your father that you send your regards." Giving him a grateful nod, Acacia looked around the others on the bus before sliding down into her seat and withdrawing her iPod from her bag. Briefly, she wondered why she had been selected in the first place before she remembered that she was practically a star pupil at the school. Namely in literature, which she had won awards in.

Either way, she didn't like the sound of these boys but it was her duty to represent her school and try ram some information into them.

The man walked over to the bus after the five girls were on the bus. His stride was swift and his hand whipped out a pair of dark sunglasses from his suit coat pocket as he went out of the door. He was soon on the bus and looked at each girl before speaking.

"Good morning ladies. You each have been hand chosen for this special tutoring assignment. I have thought about pairing each of you but maybe it would be best if the ten of you figure out how to get the assignment done. The males already know what their assignment is and while they are not exactly happy about it, they are here.

Your assignment is to teach these males how to survive on their own. Make sure that they have all of the necessary skills to make their year an academic success whether it is how to properly clean their own room to doing laundry to cooking, even how to use the computer to find what they need to know for a report paper.

I shall leave you to travel to the apartments and get settled in. I expect great things from you five ladies. I wish you all the luck in this world."

Once the man was done speaking, he simply walked off the bus and into the grassy area of the yard where he simply faded away.

Hermessent/Hermonia

Hermonia continued to wind the lock of dark hair around her finger when another girl got on board. She looked…familiar. Wait, she knew this one. Let’s see, it was something to do with flowers and showers and- May! Ha! All of her memorization was working to her advantage. Knowing which humans were which had been difficult at first, but it only took a bit of effort to fit them to their names. After all, knowing others and who held advantageous positions was how she had become so well famed with some of the other students. Ah, she really was pretty great, wasn’t she?

Smiling at the more petite girl, she rested her face in the palm of her hand as she sat back regally. The pink uniform suited the delicate looking girl. Sitting up straight, she offered her hand in a casual friendly greeting.

“Miss May isn’t it?” her voice was gentle and rather kind, but somehow her dark eyes always looked a bit cold, no matter what she said or did, “Pleased to meet you. I am Hermonia. I hope we will get along.”

But another girl entered the bus after she spoke. A girl with a rather regal air of her own and fire red hair to match. What a haughty looking girl, Hermessent’s thoughts sneered in delight, The one who is a little better with words than even I. How peevish! Were there indeed good things about humans? Yes, of course, but she wasn’t overly fond of females. Perhaps it was the internal desire to out shine them, or her natural likeness for destruction. Chaos. And females turned on one another so easily. It was like a ripe red fruit was being dangled before her. It was almost too painful to resist and continue her pleasant façade. Luckily there was someone to interrupt her demonic thoughts.

A man, plain enough, but wearing dark glasses and a suit, so he somehow still stood out. Peculiar. He scanned over every girl on the bus and Hermonia resisted the urge to glare. Instead she continued to smile pleasantly. Ah, so they would all be left to assigning themselves. What a wonderful situation, all too easily set up for a chaotic mess. Her smile seemed to become a little warmer.

“Odd, isn’t it?” she whispered to May, “Boys who don’t know how to use computers… I wonder if they are foreigners.” But once the man had finished his little speech, he exited the bus with ease. Curiously Hermonia peered after him, ignoring Uriko the Irritating. The man simply faded away. The once she-demon stilled and her smile fell away, leaving her a bit too pale and a bit too unnaturally pretty. Narrowing her eyes, she pressed her lips together. Curious-er, and curious-er…

Uriko didn’t seem to notice. Perhaps she shouldn’t remark on it then… But instead she placed an innocently surprised look on her face, pressing her hand to her cheek. Looking over at May with wide eyes, she spoke softly.

“How odd!” she murmured, “One minute he’s there and the next he isn’t? Almost like he disappeared.” She giggled demurely then. “What a fast walk. It must be useful.”

Drienuhn/Darien

Drienuhn dozed quietly in his chair, lounging with one leg over the armrest, the other on the ground. His long hair fell into his face, his dark eyes opening slightly as he heard more of his bothers enter the common area. Skeixura was the one who spoke of spies hiding in their rooms, but Drienuhn was too comfortable in his spot to actually get up and go see what he was talking about. If there was a spy, they would get quiet bored in his room watching him. Then they would leave. Or fall asleep. Because Drienuhn hardly ever did anything all that interesting; others did the interesting things for him.

Like his brothers for instance. Always shouting about one thing or the other, they were far more interesting to watch than he. Taelor, for example, was quiet amusing. He controlled the tale-teller with some sort of small bar and somehow managed to anger it. It was merely a head with a giant eye, yet somehow he had gone and made the thing angry. Leaning over, his long arm helped his hand pick up the controlling bar with little disruption to his comfortable sitting.

Turing the bar over in his hands, he examined it. More odd symbols dancing on the little square scales…Symbols were everywhere in this realm. How tedious. Pointing the controlling bar at the tale-teller, he played with the odd scales. One of the long was controlled volume, making it louder or softer depending on which end of the scale he pressed. The other long rectangular scale changed the story. Convenient. He could get used to this. The red scale made the tale-teller sleep and wake up as well. So as his brothers chattered away, he switched through story after story, till something interesting appeared. It looked different from all the other stories.

”Angels are the beings who protect us from the outside threats to our moral upstanding. But in the end it is you, you very soul, that determines wether or not you are successful in defending yourself from demons.

That peaked his interest. He ever sat up right in his chair, leaning forward and watching attentively at the tale-teller’s story.

Demons called Desire (the audience jeered) And Greed (another jeer) And Laziness! (one more loud jeer) Our children do not know how to defend themselves against these demons! We must be the ones to show them! When they refuse to do their homework…. And on and on and on it went. But Drienuhn mulled over what the man in the white suit had said. Humans knew of Angels? But who were these Demons they spoke of? He knew of no respectable demon by such a ridiculous name as ‘Desire’ or ‘Greed’. They were sins, yes, but who was stupid enough to call themselves by one of the Sins? Stranger… It sort of…irritated him, this man and his odd speech. Glowering at the tale-teller he changed the story.

Chobach | Silas

@Snarl
"Brother please calm down, look- Drieunh has bent the will of the creature. He has saved us." Came Chobach's dull reply as he edged away from Taelor. He looked at the demon who shared the same chair space as him, wondering why he took it upon himself to get so close to him. Taelor's mere presence was a taunt towarda violence- something Chobach knew had to do with his brothers power of adulation.

The program on the tv spoke of angels and demons. Chobach listened but refused to look at the screen. Humans loved to talk shit about their kind- most of it was mere exaggeration based on nothing but their fears. They spoke of Hell as a place of horrors and torment- which it was, only to mortals, however. To demons Hell was home. There were beautiful parts to the inferno as well. These places, of course, never to be seen by the damned mortal souls. And so he disregarded the speaker on the program.

@NarcissisticPotato
Instead he turned his attention up to Skeixura, as he pushed Taelor off of his seat on his armrest,

"Spies? And you scared one off? I thought Father told us not to harm them. They are his Eyes now. What if he retaliates and stifles you some more, brother."

He doubted their father would retaliate- but it was always nice to scare his siblings.

Taelor ✬ August

He dropped his hands when Drienunh claimed control of the creatures voice, dominating it with a simple wave of the magic wand.

"Kindest brother- you have turned the beasts will to your own. He purrs now like a hellcat quenched on blood. You have a gift with Surface creatures, surely." He complimented sweetly, grinning a pointy-toothed grin. And, taking up Chobach's phrase he added,

"Yes you've saved us, dearest Drienunh."

At Skeixura's entrance he spun to greet his brother- but Chobach had pushed him from his seat. He landed on the floor with an "unf" before rubbing his bottom, standing up at once. He glared at Chobach for a moment before turning his attention on Skei, he smiled, although the smile did not reach his eyes.

"Ah do not listen to Chobach, brother. You have thwarted off spies meant to do us harm, no doubt. Our brother here is merely envious of your intelligence and bravery- the true mark of a prince."

He laughed as he looked at the three of them, beaming as if he were proud of them,

"To think! I have such exceptional kin. One tames a beast while the other fights off a fiend! Remarkable, truly. I must get on my game." Said Taelor as he walked passed them all, toward his room. On his way out he gave Chobach a fleeting look. Seemingly that of a jovial brother- but underneath the demon was plotting.

He closed the door to his bedroom behind him before making a bee-line to the textbooks set up on his desk. He wondered what subjects the humans would teach. Although a major concern of his was finding anything to use against his brothers.

Ruomahl/Rowan

Ruomahl had been surprised to find such a plethora of information so readily available. Ruomahl had already found a lot about this world, Earth. Earth was the English name, but it had many other names in many other languages. This world was full of water, most it which remained undrinkable to humans. Apparently, humans had a limited tolerance to salt. There were many thousands of species of animals who shared Earth with humanity, much to Ruomahl's surprise, but it appeared that none of them had been as successful.

Ruomahl set out to learn more about what humanity was. For the moment, that was more important than learning about Earth. Apparently they were split into hundreds of different hundreds of different nations, and worse, they were content with the situation. The kings of old had all but disappeared. Only a handful of kings remained, and even fewer held on to the power their ancestors possessed. Ruomahl had always assumed that monarchy was the only form of government, and that without a King, everything would fall apart. Ruomahl wondered if humans were really so different, or had the humans discovered something that had escaped the knowledge of Hell? Ruomahl shook his head. This was not why he was sent here, and his father likely wouldn't aporove of such thoughts.

Ruomahl, curious, looked up what the humans thought of demons. It was absolutely infuriating. Demons were defined as vile creatures, beings of evil, who sinned for sins sake. All true, but Ruomahl didn't appreciate how ugly they were. It seemed that many humans saw demons as fallen angels. The tales of angels and demons were so true, yet so false.

This was a completely foreign world. There was so much to learn, and so little time. He could sit here all day, and still not fully understand humanity. However, that wasn't enough to discourage him. Ruomahl would find out more about humanity's history, and how humanity acted and functioned.

In the background, Ruomahl could hear his brothers act like idiots. They thought they were taming monsters, but Ruomahl knew that the only monster in their rooms were the thing he was on right now. Earth apparently didn't have monsters, or nothing humans would admit were. He definitely wasn't going to lose to these fools. Ruomahl had to make sure that he was the one who got back home first. He thought that maybe the best way to do that wasn't at the edge of this thing, but he put the thought out of his mind. He needed information; he wasn't going to walk around blindly.

The man walked in the between and out into the living room of the Apartment Complex to see the demons sitting around. He did not want to know what in the name of Hades they were doing but he was going to give them a final warning (or so he hopes) before the ladies got there. He snaps his fingers and the television went off. Humans and their inferno gadgets. Why he had no idea but they seem to like to have noise and things going around them at all times.

"All right now you ungrateful imbeciles, listen up. The ladies who are going to assist you will be here soon. Mind your manners is your first warning. Other warnings are as follows:
Do not do any harm to any human no matter how aggravating they may become to you.
Remember that there are others who may be watching you and one of them is myself who has the privilege to come back and fry your big behinds if needs to be done. Which I will do with delight. There are other discipline measures that I can do if I see the need.” Grins evilly at each demon with obvious pleasure in his eyes.
“Do your utmost best in your studies. Ask questions politely in human terms.
Respect the ladies. They may have a good side to them but you might have to hunt for it. These ladies were handpicked by me to be the best options for this situation. Each one is different and unique being with good reputation and high grades.
Do not go into the ladies’ room nor invite them into your room.
No hanky panky, sex or anything that the ladies might consider crude.
Your Allowance will be based on these warnings, how well you do in your classwork and dating of your selected lady. Each of you will be given the amount that I feel that you deserve each payday. You have two pairs of jeans and five t-shirts for outside of the class. While I doubt that any of you will wear them but you do have two pajamas.
Any legitimate questions before I leave?” the man asked.

Bessie
Bessie only half listened to the talk that the man had. She would do what she would do. She didn’t pay any attention to the other girls either. She was trying to figure out how to get out of this stupid tutoring job without finishing the two week Introduction Period. She also did not want to spend the whole next year in keeping track of guy she would be paired up with. She did have her own life to live after all.
Bessie’s eyes did pick up an unusual sight as she looked outside of the bus. A sight that made her sit up straight and stare in the distance. That man actually walked into thin air! How could that be possible? Her mind must be playing tricks on her even though she knew that what she saw was actually true….

The bus driver got on and counted the heads.
“We are now leaving for the Apartment Complex.” He spoke like a tour guide.
The bus purred to life and moved.

As the bus left, Bessie kept her eyes focused on the spot where that man walked into thin air as long as possible. She wanted to memorize the exact place so she could examine the spot in the future.

Uriko Ryuta/Strife

Uriko starts to doze off a bit due to the bus taking motion, her backback making many clinking sounds of metal against each other like that of metal plates. She could have sworn that the man vanished into thin air. But she thought best to not bring attention to it, because that'd be crazy. "A secr... under... maybe?" Uriko mumbles half drowsy next to Bessie, before rubbing her face to wake herself back up. Uriko looks around for some of the other faces, she wants to stay awake. She recognizes one, it's a person she's seen somewhere before... Acacia Blackwell. Bessie recommended one of her books once and Uriko liked it enough to look her up. She was on the list of people as well, though it didn't occur to Uriko until now.
@NarcissisticPotato @Aisling
"Hey little miss, aren't ya Acacia Blackwell? Bes, here likes books."
Uriko points to Bessie who is looking out the window
"Maybe ya can get together sometime once we figure out what the boys are about?"

May Chandler

May jumped, startled by a near by voice. Looking up, she was staring into the face of the famous Hermonia.

"Oh, um, yes," she replied, taking the offered hand. "Same here." May's speech was much less graceful and far less tactful in comparison to the school idol's, but she tried to smile anyway. Although, she was surprised that Hermonia knew her name at all.

Sitting back, the young girl smirked to herself when she realized how many of her classmates would love (and probably kill) to be in her shoes right now. However, as far as May could tell, the girl before her seemed like a normal person. Albeit, there was something off about the way she smiled. It made May nervous, but she wasn't sure why.

May tried to ignore it and chalked it up to the fact that Hermonia was an upperclassman. Just then, occurred to May that the other girls were probably a different year than her, and that's why she knew none of them.

A moment later, another girl entered the bus. It was again a face she recognized but wasn't familiar with. Shortly after the red head, a man stepped aboard and began elaborating on their assignment. He seemed odd and unlike most of the facility and staff that worked at the academy.

Having Hermonia lean over and whisper made May jump again. Her face even went a bit flush. It felt strange for her to have someone so physically close to her, especially someone who had such a large following. Regardless, it comforted May to know that Hermonia was just as surprised by the news as she was.

May, however, could kind of understand a lack of computer knowledge and was more concerned that they'd need help doing laundry! What kind of background could these boys have come from that they had so few life skills? What kind of parents could have possibly raised their child with such little knowledge of how to survive? Probably prissy rich kids who had everything done for them.

These thoughts worried the blonde as she listened intently to the rest of the speech. She had been under the impression this was going to be a normal tutoring job, however, it was turning out to be much more. She could feel a knot forming in her stomach. Anxiously, May slid her hands under her thighs to stop herself from fidgeting with them and began to bite her lower lip instead. She had not mentally prepared for this.

After his speech, May watched as the man exited the bus and disappear into the distance.

"Yes...That is odd," May replied thoughtfully. "He...he didn't even go back into the building," she noted, perplexed by the whole situation. "Does he even work for our school? I didn't recognize him at all..." May looked to Hermonia for answers. Surely, she of all people would be most familiar with the school staff.

Just then, the bus began moving and the closer they got, the more anxious May became. She knew she had to tough it out, but she wanted nothing more than to go back to her dorm and focus on something else. Anything else.
