Gender: 'Male,' but mostly 'sword' Moveset: Return, Shadow Sneak, Iron Head, Sacred Sword Personality: A natural-born teacher, Etan is patient and encouraging. Still unsure of himself in his new identity as a sword, he is the type to power through uncertainty with something that could be called 'recklessness.' However, his attachment to his trainer keeps that in check; he has somebody else he needs to protect. Differences: Etan's ability is Infiltrator rather than No Guard, allowing him to pierce effects such as Protect. Furthermore, because his master has little to no experience with Pokemon, it's not uncommon for Etan to be used like a regular sword. This combines a Pokemon's superhuman abilities with Paro's training as a swordsman -- the greater of his skills. However, Paro must call out his attacks when fighting this way.
Appearance:
Without the parrot though, or all the ridiculous ornamentation on his shoulder armor.
Personality: Paro is the result of over a decade's training in multiple disciplines. 'Tact' was not among them. Compassionate to a fault, he is perhaps too eager to let others know how he's feeling. However, he prides himself on not being a hypocrite, so he is also a master of invasive questions. An Entei-fearing young man, he has no patience for feelings bottled or avoided; he would rather dive right to the point and let bad feelings burn themselves out.
Short Biography: The sword entered Paro's life when he was nine years old. A retired military man gave lessons in swordsmanship to the village's children, aided by his son, Etan. His front yard served equally as playground, training ground, and hallowed ground for the orphaned and directionless. Six years Paro's senior, Etan was a slim boy: deceptively strong, and gifted with the estoc's piercing power. Training behind a shield for years, Paro could only admire his upperclassman's forwardness in battle. When he left for the war, everybody believed that would keep him safe.
Months rolled by like the clouds above Leonias. With no word from the young soldier, the village carried on as though it forgot he had ever left. None of them had. Paro, unchanged by the years, spent more time training than at home with his own family. Perhaps that's why he was the first to see the golden hilt of a long, long sword floating towards the town.
They say that when a soldier dies, their soul is sealed within their sword. Perhaps that explained the needle of familiarity in Paro's chest as he looked into the sword's single, glassy eye.
Pokemon (3x Eevee) Ace- Ace is the only male Eevee with Amelia. While typically Eevees have a lighter color around their collar and tail, Ace is one solid dark brown color. He isn't particularly violent but he tends to be defensive of his sisters. Terra- Terra is the oldest of the Eevees and is also the calmest of the three. While the other two run around chasing caterpies and pidgeys, Terra usually stays near Ameilia, relaxed. She is well behaved and loves attention for her good behavior. She has a rather light colored coat, almost white, with extra fur around her collar. Zara- The baby of the group, Zara is the smallest Eevee with the most energy. Typically Zara will run off doing something mischievous while Ace follows her making sure to scare off anything that decides to stand up to her. Unlike most Eevees, Zara's collar and tail fur is darker than the rest of her fur.
Personality Amelia is typically warm and bubbly, always having a smile on her face. She is probably more trusting than she should be and is friendly to friend and foe. This personality of hers follows her onto the battlefield. Catch her eye and she will reflexively smile warmly just before letting her arrow fly. Many chastise her for being too nice and too trusting. They tell her it will get her killed one day.
Short Biography Amelia doesn't remember much about her parents. They die or left or something- she doesn't really care. Growing up it was just her and her brothers, and thats all that mattered. Her brothers, both mercenaries, made sure she was always taken care of. Though, they couldn't leave her by herself so many times they had to take her to where ever their jobs took them. This meant traditional schooling wasn't really an option- but her brothers taught her practicality. They taught her how to start a fire, how to tie a knot, how to skin your food, and how to fletch a bow. They also taught her how to shoot a bow.
It was only a matter of time before her brothers didn't come home. When they didn't Amelia wasn't sure what to do. She began questioning the other soldiers stationed at their camp but none of them could give her a definitive answer. They had seen the two injured but none saw what happened to them. It was days before the battle was actually over and Amelia could search the battlefield. Many of the bodies were indistinguishable but she knew in her heart her brothers were not there. She kept up the search but found very little. In the closest town a woman tended to two brothers. She pointed them toward the next town where a man had seen two men who were not from there, though he couldn't say if they matched her descriptions. The next town a man said that he had spoken to two young men, brothers by the look of it, who had joined the Phoenician cause.
She knew she was grasping at straws but she signed up as well, hoping to find them soon.

@TwilightDragon thanks. looking forward to working with you all. small request, since i cant open hiders can the sheets moved to the character thread not use them. getting to a computer just to read sheets is bothersome for me. sorry if this seems to big of a request.
Coupla questions o: So we just copy our character sheet into the character thread once we're accepted, or?
Also, how fragile are people in this? Are we talking death by one good cut, or is this the kind of anime setting where you can hit a dude 20 times and they just fall to their knees?

Nickname: Kai Gender: Male Species: Totodile Moveset: Crunch, Water Pulse, Surf, and Headbutt.

Appearance:
Personality: Sumiko is a woman of few words, prefering to let her actions speak for her. She is very methodical by nature, never rushing into anything and always weighing the consequences before acting. She doesn't fight unless there is no other option, preferring to solve the problem with words instead of swords. She has very high moral standards and despises any type of injustice.
Biography: Sumiko was raised in a warrior family. From childhood, she'd been taught to always fight injustice and protect those who could not defend themselves. It was those long ago lessons that echoed in her mind as she traveled throughout Argent, and made her take a second look at the world around her. The chaos, the needless bloodshed, and so many lives lost. Seeing the crumbling kingdoms struggle to place blame on one another, she saw her path layed out before her: she would protect those caught in the needless power struggle.
