Zelan eventually showed himself. He moved above his own troops using water to lift himself into the air. He had his trident out and lunged it straight at Thessleder the moment he was in close enough range. Zelan was able to dodge the portal unlike his troops who were not able to avoid it due to them not used to marching on land. "This is my city! Get out of my way!" Zelan yelled as he lunged the attack straight at Thessledar. However the attack seemed to be blocked early by Linia. However she only had enough time to block it with her own body.

She was stabbed in the gut. Coughing up blood from her sacrifice. "Not today." She said as she sent a flash of light straight at Zelan blinding him temporarily. Chances were Linia would most likely die from this if not given attention soon. Though that seemed to be happening anyways now. "Tear him into shreds." Linia said to Thesselder and the others as she fell to the ground after the trident was pulled out.

Zarr was hit by Lucy's attack. Though he wasn't greatly effected by it and he was able to get out of her range of attack by regaining his footing. He opened his palm and his scythe was present by his side. "I won't end your life but I'll teach you a lesson." Zarr said swinging his scythe in the air summoning five skeletal humanoid beings to attack Lucy.

As they pursued Lucy Zarr was planning out his next three attacks. He was gonna make sure Lucy regret her actions. The skeletal beings would attacks Lucy from each side aiming to cut, stab and rip any flesh they could get ahold of. The best way to defeat these beings were to decapitate them. It wouldn't be hard to defeat one but she had to deal with five so the steaks were higher.

"Tell me. Are you fighting for your creators life or just because I provoked you?" Zarr asked swing his scythe summoning more of the skeletal beings to attack Lucy. He wasn't planning on attacking her head on just yet. Zarr was using the skeletens to gain information on how Lucy does battle when he believes he gained enough he'll deal with her personally.

The Warp Spider sighed, as he saw the girl die. Too soon, too young. But then again, that's what being a hero was all about. Life for a hero was nothing more than seeing your comrades die around you, or, if you were lucky, to die first. It was a shit job, but somebody needed to do it. So right now, right here, he'd end this invasion. And he'd end the next one. And whatever came after this, he'd end it too, before it even began. Before they ever reached the city. Before girls like that would have to die. Until his body and mind broke down, and he finally faced the end he had seen so many others fall to.

It was an old promise, filled with regret, and yet strengthened by his own conviction.

A pulse of energy seemed to move across the ground, as it seemingly evaporated. A thin layer of bricks disappearing beneath Zelan. For in his attack he had walked straight into a trap that had never been intended for him. A thick layer of explosives was revealed, enough C4 to blow the entire city block to hell. It was unknown whether, in that instant, Zelan recognized the explosives of human design. Or whether Linia knew what was coming when the floor beneath her vanished, or was even lucid enough to realize it. It was only a fraction of a second, that moment of sudden realization, as the trap was revealed. And then, as Shiro lit the fuse, the world was filled with light and sound. Furious heat and force, the raw power of an explosion, annihilating everything nearby.

Shiro stood, staring, nearly blinded by the glow. It hurt, but it should. For that explosion would undoubtedly have killed Linia. And no matter how much he told himself she was beyond saving, that she was already too wounded.... he would never forget that look on her face. The face he had seen too often, the fear of death in the eyes of a person not ready to die. A new addition to a long list of failures.

Afterwards, the remaining heroes and fishmen found themselves surrounding an immense crater. Thasseldar had been just outside the blast radius, most likely assaulted by flying debris and heat, but not seriously harmed. Who knew where Abbadon had been, but at least one of his locusts had been killed in that blast. They were expendable, however. Shiro held out his hand, as Fullbringer appeared in it. He blew out a cloud of smoke, which slowly rose into the air, even as Absolute Eye scanned the area. Counting the survivors, on both sides. Trying to find Zelan, if he was still alive after that explosion.

First the fishmen, then Cataclysm. And maybe then he could worry about the demon. And whatever came after that, assuming he would live that long.

The creatures rushed at Lucy, who transformed her arm into a bladed whip to slice at one. The clumsy attack was easily deflected - Lucy wasn't used to fighting in the air. However, even as the creatures closed in for the kill it became apparent that it wouldn't be so easy. Lucy's armour was hard to pierce with weak weapons, it's structure making it akin to plate mail in protective capability. Her clumsy attacks seldom hit, but they packed the punch of a gorilla's muscular structure. A landed blow shattered bone and sent the creature's flying back. In skill she was vastly outmatched, but the creatures simply weren't able to crush her armoured carapace.

What they WERE able to do, however, was tear at her wings. Out of necessity, these had been left unarmoured. Adding any form of plating would have made them too heavy, making even slow flight impossible. The bone blades ripped through the flesh, as one of the creatures ripped off the entire wing. The creature immediately regretted this decision, as the wing flowed around it's arm and began sprouting tiny mouths. It dug into the bones, devouring them and turning them to energy as the creature attempted to tear at it. No matter what it did, any attempt to kill it simply spread the infection farther, and soon it's entire body had been devoured.

Lucy hit the ground hard, crashing into - and through - a fountain. Water sprayed everywhere as he impact shattered the fountain's marble structure. She seemed smaller, the hollow structures she had formed for flight having been flattened by the impact. However, no real damage had been done by the fall. Her body was quite hard to kill, and as she sat up, the creatures rushed down after her. Here on the ground, however, she would have a far greater advantage.

The jelly that had devoured the skeleton creature landed near Lucy, swiftly rushing at her and becoming part of her body. She grew, growing more heavily muscled and armoured. What appeared to be a tree also merged with her, transforming her into a fairly massive figure, covered in the black exoskeleton. Four tentacles sprouted from her back and began striking at the foes surrounding her, ripping through them with ease, he blows pulverizing bones to dust. And every defeated skeleton creature was devoured, transformed into more nutrients for the ever-growing monstrosity.

Thasseldar watched as one of the heros died to save him; yet he was too weak to lift a finger in assistance.

"Tellusvaxius... save them all..." he muttered, bringing up the name of an old religious figure from his homeworld. He used his remaining energies to call a final portal, one to a certain place that he had only seen once. A place of uncontested raw power that would be far too dangerous to invoke in any other circumstance... one that a junior Realmswalker could destroy an entire city with should it be done wrong.

Through the portal came a very small flare from the sun of his homeworld; a blue giant, as the humans called it. Small it was, but nonetheless destructive. It sent a heatwave of twisting, half-visible searing energy down the road, aimed directly at the army in front of him, starting fires with its very presence and creating a nearly deafening noise. If he was lucky it would cause major casualties and give the others a chance to win; if he wasn't it would simply destroy buildings and cause little damage to any living thing. It was the last he had, as after he cast it he fell unconscious.

Zelan was killed and destroyed by other attacks aimed at him. There was nothing left of him. not even a trace. There was no life left in Linia either. The fish men at this point had all retreated or been killed off due to variouse attacks on them. There was very little will left in them.

Cinia came up to the scene where Linia and Thesseldar was. One was unconciouse and the other was dead. Cinia fell to her knees at the sight of Linia's mangled body. Her eyes started to tear up and then she started to cry, others could be heard doing the same throughout the city. Linia's body had no light left in it, it was like a deflated jellyfish now barely a human form. There were multiple other heroes who had died as well from this attack. Multiple bodies littered the streets, both of the aquatics and the heroes, even some civilians.

Calamity meanwhile had been watching the entire battle unfold. He only smirked as he now knew that the city was weak. His search would come along much faster now as he sent out drones to search the city now. With nothing in his way he would find his family within a week.

Even if he hadn't known the girl that long, seeing Linia get stabbed through the gut with Zelan's spear didn't exactly sit well with him. Abaddon formed a shadowy set of claws around him, but instead of killing him right then and there he had tossed him into the frantic army of sea creatures behind them. This would be the way the sea king would die: pathetically, trampled by his own subjects who were either unaware of him or too concerned for their own lives to stop and help him. He wanted to watch this, and could do so without concern due to the aquatic army being fed upon by his locusts...

"Huh?"

Abaddon sensed imminent danger engulfing and then detected a fluctuation of energy beneath the ground. He instinctively brought up an aura about him, a hazy, golden one that was designed to protect him from large amounts of damage. The same was done to Thasseldar (who had opened a portal to fry other fish men) and Linia.

A flash, then an explosion of debris and flame erupted from the ground as Shiro set off multiple explosives. Whatever was left of Zelan and his army was completely consumed by it (at least the troops within the explosion's radius). Due to the aura, the only thing that happened to Abaddon and his allies were them getting forcefully tossed about, but other than that, nothing major. Some of the flame and heat had touched Abaddon though, leaving him injured.

...

Moments passed, and the chaos finally died down. Abaddon dispelled the auras and looked around. Nothing but a crater was left of this block of the city, along with one dead and horribly mangled locust. The others had left the area in pursuit of fleeing and hidden backup soldiers, so Abaddon called them back to him. He and the others would need a means of transport after what just happened... well, except for Linia. Her body was now lifeless. A damn shame honestly, for her to have been killed before her time... a friend of hers who had just arrived seemed to share the thought, because as soon as she saw her the girl dropped to her knees and broke out sobbing. Cinia's being dressed in a chicken costume would have been picked at for Abaddon's amusement under any other circumstances, but now... was obviously not the time. He allowed himself to revert to his human form and simply stood by in silence.

The surviving locusts would be here soon. Hopefully everyone else wasn't in as bad of condition as they looked...

"Tsk tsk tsk." Zarr said descending to the ground. He was expecting the fight to go on longer but it seemed he was proven wrong. "I suggest you give up and return to your none hostile state." The battle was over and if has been over ever since she consumed the energy of her first skeleton. Zarr didn't want to rely on this potty way of winning but he had to prove to the young girl that she shouldn't pok fights with unknown beings.

"Let me explain your situation. You've consumed my minions and became more powerful. But originally the creatures you devoured belonged to be so if I were to banish them back to their realm you'd simple resort back to your origin state before your transformation. But I won't simply banish them, there are other methods for having them sent back to there realm."

Zarr frowns walking towards the young woman. " I can send them back my forcing them to implode and judging on how many you've devoured the implosion will surely kill you or but you in a serious critical state that might even takes years for you to recover from. So now take your pick. Attack me and be blown to smithereens or disengage and love to see another day." Zarr raised his hand and put them in a spanning position. With one snap of his finger Lucy would become a live firework show.

Lucy is silent for a moment, as she considers the creature's offer. Whilst her main mass had been taken from the tree she had converted some time ago, a certain portion of her body had been formed from the matter she had absorbed from the skeletal creatures. If he were to cause it to implode violently, whilst she doubted it would be able to destroy her completely, the resulting damage would most likely lead to her inevitable defeat. Depending the strength of the implosion, it could destroy as much as 3/4 of her biomass, reducing not only her strength but her intelligence as well.

Of course, Zarr had not anticipated that Lucy's intelligence would increase with her mass. He further underestimated her decision to kill him, as she was now fully prepared to risk her life to end his. Even if he were to force her to retreat, she would return. With more knowledge, and more skill, she would have inevitably sought to eliminate the threat he formed.

After a moment of silence, which Zarr would probably take for deliberation, Lucy initiates a plan. her chest seems to explode outwards, through no effort on Zarr's part, as a blast of highly acidic materials is sprayed over everything in front of her. Even with superior speed, surprise and proximity would most likely allow Lucy to hit her opponent. Furthermore, she had expelled all matter originally derived from the skeletons in this explosive burst. If he were to attempt to cause the implosion now, he would find himself to be covered in imploding acidic goo.

The battle had been a harsh one. Too many had died, both civilians and heroes. They had fended off the invasion of the fish men, but this city's foolish weakness had cost them too much. Even with this many heroes, there had been no warning of the invasion. There had been no evacuation effort, or at least none that had worked. The resistance had consisted of ragtag groups of heroes facing off against an organized force, to devastating results. There was no central force organizing those who defended the city, there was no leadership. And without a solid system, this city was doomed to fall to Calamity.

A loud humming aroused Shiro from his musings. A robotic drone flew overhead, seeming to be scanning the area. Of course, Shiro had done his research before setting out on his hunt. He knew who those drones belonged to. And he knew that their presence meant nothing good. If they were here, then so was their master.

A purple cloud surrounded the drone, as it seemingly evaporated into thin air. A machine lacking a soul, it had no defense against his teleportation capabilities. Even as he spotted the drones he removed them, stripping them apart to their base components with nothing more than a thought. Against him, a robotic army was useless.

After a moment of searching, he had confirmed it. Calamity was in this city. Standing in full view, on top of some large building at the edge of the city. He'd wanted a view, to see the battle unfolding below. Was this invasion his doing? No, if it were he would have helped, and his assistance might have turned the tide against the heroes. But he was fully prepared to make use of this weakness, stepping in just when the chaos was at it's highest. Shiro would not stand for that.

With a thought and a moment, he appeared in front of the famous supervillain. Each hand held a katana forged from nanotube enhanced pentagonal carbon, each with a monomolecular edge. The most powerful bladed weapon modern science could design, practically indestructible and capable of cutting through almost any matter. And yet, each was surprisingly light. He stared at Calamity, silently, as he gauged his opponent's movements, when he would attack and in what form.

"You shouldn't have shown your face, Calamity. I've been hunting you for a while now. And right now, I'm in just the right mood to bring you to justice."

If this fight were to progress Zarr might end up using more of his abilities then he intended too and probably kill the girl. Zarr turned his back to Lucy walking away. "Listen! We can call this a draw for now. The next time we meet I won't take second thoughts in striking you down so be at your best.....cya." He said slowly disappearing as if he was a pile of dust. He reappeared in the sky a great distance away from the site he and Lucy fought at. Zarr slowly flew through the air to regain his posture from the teleporting.

Now that he was free from battle all the recent anomalies that he was sensing were becoming more clearer. He was aiming to help in the battle but he was too late one of the heroes has already fallen. Zarr clentched his fist as anger clouded his mind. He could of prevented the young heroes death if he was there to assist them. Zarr truly believed it was his fault and decided he was gonna go on a guilt trip. It'd be awhile before the remaining heroes see Zarr again.

Calamity was only there as a hologram. "You really need to look closer kid." Calamity said as a smirk came onto her face, his arms were crossed as the hologram dissapeared. He was in his fortress still, and he was starting to make plans with the others, he was close, and nothing was going to stop him once he found his family. His drones were finding more than just his family, they were also learning about the heroes trying to find a way to kill them or atleast get them out of his way. The battle against the sea was a wonderful way for him to observe them, and he had gotten quite a bit of information thanks to this.

Time skip -Five days later-

The sky was cloudy, it looked like rain was going to start soon. Cinia was at a funeral for Linia. Other's who knew her were also there though, of course there were several other funerals also happening in the same grave yard. All of the victims from the attack were to be buried today. Officially Linia had died as a civilian, but only heroes knew who they really were. Cinia was crying every now and then as she and Linia had been very close to each other, Cinia was also the closest friend Linia had on earth. Linia had other friends in the star's and they already knew what had happened and were holding their own memorial service elsewhere in the far reaches of space.

(Introducing Gart!)
Gart meanwhile had been lucky to be out of town visiting her father during the attack. She had just recently gotten back into town, her school was closed down after the attack. Gart had been volunteering lately to help clean up the rubble as she felt terrible for not being able to help in the attack. Many of Gamer Heroes online followers had even turned on her calling her a coward for not showing up to help in the battle.

Gart was in a housing area, there was alot of rubble and some people had already come back to claim their belongings while others mourned the in the spots where people had died.

Thasseldar stood quietly near the back of the funeral for Linia. He had not known her for long, but she did give her life to buy him a few seconds... and he had only been given such a sacrifice once before. The other fellow he was able to save... but not this one. He had been too weak to be able to pull her into another dimension, one where her wounds may have been less effective... one where he could have found help.

The staff had exploded, there was nothing to be done. he told himself even as he thought with sadness to his long-serving staff. A gift from his old friend Epsilon, a long time ago. He still didn't know where Epsilon had found it.

We need more assistance, and quickly... He had tried to brief as many of the heros as he could to meet at the funeral and then the hotel. Hanson was still there; Thasseldar didn't really know what he did. Nor was he paying attention as he was recovering, and trying to figure out a way to get another item to channel his power through. He would be weaker now until he found something else; even then, he would never be the same.

Igorossus gazed upon the city from one of the taller buildings, standing at the very top on a ledge that would have terrified some humans. But there was no reason to be afraid. Indeed, he almost pitied the humans.

The city looked to be in a state of recovery. The so called 'fish folk' as his master had called them seemed to have done their work well. A huge scorch mark, completely unnatural and out of place, was visible down the line of buildings. A realmswalker, then.

His mission was to ultimately find the weaker side, assist it until it became strong enough to challenge the other and then backstab them. This he would do, as he had done many times before. It had become a reflex, almost.

Drawing a portal in a distant forest-like area in the other side of the city with his mind, he appeared to the side of a building, out of view of humans. He checked his hand to verify he was in human form and stepped out. Walking to the cemetary gates, he stood at the side, gazing over the crowd. Perhaps I will meet someone interesting here...

Zelan's yell echoed through the darkness as he realized he was no longer burning. "AAA... oh..." he looked down at his body. Impossible... his tridant was to the side.

He looked around. A large room, very dark, yet seemingly with a spotlight on where he was. The floor was hard, like polished gray rock. He stood up, still remembering the painful tingles of whatever his opponent had thrown at him. Whatever it was, it melted Zelan and destroyed his army. It was obviously very powerful.

"Where in the depths am I..." he muttered as he looked around, still seeing no feature.

"You were dead, but now you are reborn. This is my realm." A dark, booming voice had come out of nowhere.

Zelan looked around, trying to find the source of this voice. "I can see that, but what am I doing here? What is this?"

"I have a plan for you, Zelan. A worthy plan indeed for someone such as yourself. But patience... time does not pass as it typically does here..."

A heavily armored car sped through the streets amidst the wreckage of Davenport. The city had clearly seen better days; evidence of the battle five days prior lay all around. Buildings were in various stages of disrepair, and broken glass and rubble littered many of the roads. One block the car passed by had been utterly annihilated.

The car soon screeched to a halt. The driver, a figure clad almost entirely in black, turned to look at what lay in the back seat: a sniper rifle, a large duffel bag full of ammunition, a belt covered with various types of grenades, and a few first aid kits. Despite his arsenal of back-up weapons the man was a bit hesitant to leave the safety of his armored Camaro; if what he had heard about this city was true, there were more metahumans gathered here than anywhere else he'd ever heard of. He shook off these concerns with a resolute grunt and exited the car.

Anyone watching the man would likely find him suspect. He wore a black pinstriped suit with matching pants and shoes, a black derby hat, a heavy looking dark overcoat that reached his lower legs, and a charcoal-colored mask that concealed all but his eyes. His name was Odest, but no one called him that anymore. The few who knew of him referred to him as The Rambler.

Rambler walked down the street at a brisk pace, looking for anyone suspicious or otherworldly. If he was going to figure out who or what this 'Calamity' was that supposedly caused the Davenport incident, he would need to find someone who knew what was going on.

After a few fruitless minutes of surveying he came upon a cemetery. Hushed voices and wails of grief filled the air as multiple funeral processions were being carried out. "Unfortunate," Rambler muttered to himself. He considered using his ability to listen in on some conversations and maybe find out who was behind these killings. He refrained, deciding to give the bereaved their due respect. At least for the moment. Rambler stood near the entrance of the cemetery with his arms crossed and waited.

Zarr stood on the roof of a large cemetery building dressed in a black suit to match the occasion. He wasn't near the graves to grieve for his fallen comrade or the casualties. Zarr was here on business he was given a role to play in this world after all. His scythe appeared to his side hovering over the roof waiting to be grasped by Zarr. Zarr took hold of his scythe lightly swinging it reaping all the souls of the recent deceased.

You'd think someone would notice all the blue streams of light zooming through the air to one point but only those with certain abilities were able too. The reaping of every soul in the cemetery that died in the previous days were gonna take awhile so he decided to join the rest of the civilians and undercover heroes. Well not fully join he stayed to the back of the crowds watching the expressions of all the grieving humans and metahumans that were present.

Cinia later left the funeral. She gave a sigh as it was rather hard for her to say goodbye to her friend. Later she saw what seemed to be one of Calamities minions, she slowly started to chase after it, changing into her costume in an alley way while having a chicken keep track of the minion. As she continued to follow it she entered an old abandoned warehouse. Once inside though she was suddenly surrounded by what seemed to be large mountain lions. She tried to summon some chickens to protect herself by they were quickly torn to shreds by the wolves. Cinia was scared mountain lions were more than she could handle they were like a birds main predator.

Gart meanwhile continued to help clear the rubble, though at this point she was starting to notice a few minions of Calamity were started to rummage in the area, they seemed to be looking for something. She stayed hidden for now hoping to find out what they were looking for.

Though vigilant as he observed the masses of grieving people, Rambler lacked the magical skill to sense Zarr's actions and was unaware of his presence. His patience dwindled as time passed uneventfully and he soon left the cemetery.

As he wandered the streets searching for unusual sights, he began to notice Calamity's minions lurking about. He abruptly 'turned off' his senses of smell and taste. Immediately his vision was greatly enhanced; everything from the debris on the ground to a bug flitting about a mile down the road appeared clear as crystal. Rambler crept a bit closer to one of the minions and focused his gaze upon him, allowing him to see through its skin and peer at its inner body. It was decidedly inhuman, its inner workings resembling nothing that Rambler was familiar with.

Before he could begin tailing the minions he spotted another figure in the distance, a young woman in a dress hidden behind a partially demolished building. She was the only other person that seemed to notice the minions. Rambler had heard about the battle that took place five days earlier, and he knew that some sort of group had opposed Calamity's forces. He wasn't sure if this woman was part of that group or not, and his first instinct was to keep his distance and watch this scene unfold. But he knew he'd have to take a risk to get the information he wanted, so he slowly walked around the building and cautiously approached Gart.

Once he was within earshot he stopped. Rambler kept his hands near his weapons but didn't draw them, unsure of how this could go. He quietly spoke to Gart, his mask muffling his voice a bit. "I need information. The name 'Calamity' mean anything to you?"

The Collective stumbled into Davenport, moving its bare feet slowly but deliberately, as though it was having trouble remembering how to walk. Though the block it entered was relatively untouched by the previous battle against Zelan, it was obvious that something was wrong with the city; the streets were unusually free of traffic and the pedestrians were few in number for such a large city. A handful of passerbys stopped to stare at The Collective as it shambled down the street, its snow white hair blowing in a gentle breeze.

It opened its mouth and a smooth bass voice slithered out, far too deep to be coming from a young woman's lips. "The wind brings me the fetid stench of mankind. But joy, for now I feast!"

A middle-aged man nearby screamed as The Collective's arm shot forward, extending by several feet to grab him by the head. The arm rapidly morphed into a thick monstrous appendage, its clenched fist sporting three large clawed fingers. With a gesture the man's head was crushed with ease.

"Hahahaha! Now they're scared! Reeeaallll scared!" A womanly alto voice sprang from The Collective's mouth, one that matched its appearance much more closely. As it said, the people on the street panicked at the sight of the murder and began to flee the streets.

The Collective turned to the building at its left, unhinging its jaw and opening its mouth wide, as a snake would. A thick ball of lime green goo shot from its throat at a breakneck speed, splattering on the side of the building. Immediately smoke began to rise from the goo, and several seconds later it burst into flame that quickly spread throughout the structure. Taking a few steps forward, The Collective gazed at the civilians who were retreating as quick as they could.

The deep voice returned as a wide grin twisted across its face. "Indeed, Ivory. Hear me, you sightless sheep! Let me glut myself on your pain! Let me kindle my rage on your broken souls!"

"I only just got here and look what has happened already," Carla Lavronne thought to herself as she walked into what seemed to be chaos. "Yikes, someone has some serious anger issues," she chuckled out loud but then noticed what it was eating and figured that it wouldn't mind eating more innocents if it was given the chance. At least when she fed, she did it to those who don't deserve to live, she fed on rapists, thieves and murderers, not innocent people. She knew that it, whatever it was, needed to be stopped but what to do, that was the question, she would have to sneak up on it and sneaking happened to be something that she could do very well. She was there, next minute she wasn't, she had turned invisible, while she was invisible she sped behind onto the top of a building and went back to being visible, from there she was going to teleport onto the creature but was exploded off, unfortunately for her she wasn't that good at her invisibility trick as she didn't use it very often.

Carla had been aiming for the building opposite of the one that had been blasted but she couldn't change what had happened. She hadn't gotten hurt by the fall as she was a vampire and had landed on her feet, she wasn't going to be that easy to get rid of, even though her nearly getting blown up had been her fault in the first place. She stopped for a moment then realised something, she could teleport, she smacked her head because of how stupid she had been in not teleporting in the first place. She quickly teleported from her position in front of the exploded building to a place just far enough from the creature to be able to get out of the way if needed but close enough for it to hear her, she had noticed something strange before. Somehow she noticed that the creature wasn't one being but at least two so she just needed to find out if the other being was sane but by what it had said, it wasn't," Look at me! I need you to tell me why you are doing this, can any of you please just tell me that? If you don't have a really good reason then I'm afraid that I'm going to have to kill you, or at least try," she knew what it was like to need to feed but she thought that this was ridiculous and that there had to be a reason for this ludicrous behaviour.

After awhile of lingering in the back Zarr believed the souls of all the casualties should be reaped by now. He floated back to the roof of the cemetery building at a somewhat slow pace. It didn't matter if anyone sees him flying a good number of the people who attend the funerals were meta human anyways. Zarr grasped his scythe sheathing it onto his back. He looked back into the crowds of people noticing one of the heroes exiting the scene.

Zarr was thinking about following her but then that'd make him some sort of a stalker and being death isn't a great excuse to stalk someone. The hero is still mourning the lost of her friend so Zarr decided not to follow her. Well his decision changed quickly when he realized something. What if the thing responsible for one of the heroes death comes after her.

Zarr wasn't present at the fight to know what really happened so he had to just go with his hypothesis and believe the young hero might be targeted. Since he was guessing and it might not be true he was gonna keep his distance while he followed the young hero. Zarr flew in the direction Cinia went making sure to hide his presences. The last thing he needs is for the hero to be asking questions.

Zarr oddly followed the young hero for awhile. He was beginning to turn around and head back until he noticed her speed in movement increasing. Before he could catch back up with her she had already changed into her costume. "What was that...?" Zarr asked himself as he caught a quick glimpse of what Cinia was chasing. He sped up and tried his best to keep his distance as Cinia chased the mysterious creature.

Soon Zarr came upon a warehouse and the young hero disappeared. Instantly he heard sounds of....chickens....was he going insane. No! Again he heard chickens. Zarr ignored the clucks and slowly floated to a window of the warehouse to spectate what was going on. When he reached the window Zarr saw the young hero cornered by mountain lions. They're just mere animals how was it hard for a superhero to defeat a couple of lions. Well it didn't matter she was in danger and as a protector of mankind he had to step in. Zarr calmly levitated over to Cinia descending in front of her. "Bad! Stop! Why aren't you in the mountain biome anyways?!" Shouted Zarr as he swung his scythe sending heavy pressures of wind in the mountain lions direction.
