History: Ash was an easy going guy with a warm personality before the changes started. Though his father walked out on his mother, his sister and himself when he was only a child he was raised to be a good, considerate and responsible person. Although he graduated from high school he never went to college due to a lack of plans for the future and the desire to live a simple life and explore the world with as few burdens as possible. Instead he opted to get his bartending license and worked as a barkeep at several different places in different cities. He enjoyed his job and loved talking to people even if some of them got drunk and disorderly at times. Even though friends and family would regard him as easy to get close to at first there always seemed to be another side of him that he kept hidden and he was always slow to speak of dark or angry things.
Since the transition hit him he has been struggling with the incredible power and pleasure that came with the revelation of his true nature. How could something that feels so right be so contrary to what he was taught, discovered and striven to be in his human life? Despite the moral challenges that plague him he cannot deny one thing. He likes it. Ever since then he has continued his exploration of the country and the world relying on more nefarious means to survive. He has not been below murder, theft, extortion, intimidation and deception to get what he needed. However he always seems to have some kind of justification for his actions even if it is weak at times.
Transformation: At first nothing happened outwardly but it was only a few weeks before he began to sprout black scales and spike-like protrusions from his elbows, shoulders and spine. He as also begun to grow a tail and short claws.
Ability: I'd like his ability theme to be something like illusions, deception, the guises used by demons and devils to fool mortals, etc...
