Okay so basically she has to have some sort of physical contact with the person before hand. Whether its holding their hand or hugging them or even just brushing shoulders, but her body has to be introduced to theirs, basically. Once that happens, she can "channel" them. How far or close they can be to her for it to work depends on the amount of physical contact they have had. The more shes touching someone, the farther away they can be from her & it still work.
So for example, a hand shake with someone once, that's a pretty simple and weak connection, and they would have to be at least arm length for it to work.
Hugging a friend every once in awhile, that might give her 15-20ft
