Well guess I'm the diffrent one here. As most of you have probably already guessed Nik would save the people he cares about first since he failed to that last time with his real family. Anyway next post should be up sometime later today.

Great answers guys! :D I'm surprised more people weren't inclined to go for family over strangers.

Ardan, I don't think, would hesitate to go for the bystanders because it's pretty much a turian obligation to put society's needs before your own, and the ruthless math ends up that many lives are worth more than one, and it would be more than one family that suffers the loss.

We're also talking about a society that thinks fighting to the death and only one survivor emerging in victory is considered the best shit ever. Turians are kinda hardcore like that.

Interestingly, if I were playing my krogan characters, they'd probably be inclined to save the family/ friend and screw everybody else. Heavy losses of life are a common thing for krogan, and it's hard to find someone you trust and like enough to consider worth helping.

Alright! Next scenario, who wants to helm this one?

Here is a scenario for you,

Your character is forced to choose someone from the team to torture, if you don't everyone dies (rather horribly I might add). The torture won't kill the team member you choose and in the end everyone is set free. (Can't choose yourself, as you would be the forced to do the acts)
Now who from the team does your character choose?

@my Lalia I don't know if Musketman is still in the RP or if he dropped because of the family matters, but if he's still a part of this, Ardan would choose Ryland entirely because he's human. Afterwards, he might even think humans were useful for something.

If we're just going off of currently active players, it would come down to who would be the least compromised from a torture session without hindering the team.

Nik's the leader, so he's the guy coming up with all the plans and acting like the figurehead. It might destroy the team if the leader was incapacitated and unable to perform.

Daro's unlikely to survive torture, and her being a medic means she's pretty much invaluable.

Raya's the heavy hitter and requires mobility to be effective. She also has the most versatile combat skills.

Sorry Haze, you don't need to walk very well to shoot well, do you?

If you would like you can because I'm still typing the next story post up. I just try and keep the posting order because I think it makes it easier for people to know when to go a posting. But It isn't anything set in stone. :)

And hmmm that is an interesting question you purpose here. I guess here would be the breakdown.

  • Daro: Nik couldn't do that, it would be like setting a truck full of puppies and kittens on fire.
  • Haze: Haze has sort of become Nik's de facto second in command by this point so he probably would want to keep him functional if Nik has to do something crazy to save the tortured person from being killed.
  • Raya: Nik knows that she could handle it when push comes to shove but he would have reservations about it because reasons.
  • Ardan:Sorry bro but he does'nt know you all too well and as a result he would sell you down the river quicker than you could blink if it came to it.

Aww Daro really likes Raya even with her cold attitude, that's so cute!

Daro - She could never hurt her, she would die first before harming the young Quarian

Haze - She knows he could handle the torture but because of his attachment to Daro, she couldn't hurt him.

Nik - she wouldn't touch him, the team would need him and she couldn't take their leader away...... plus there is other reasons

Ardan - she doesn't know him so she would pick him without a second thought.

This shows that Raya has grown use to the team, as much as she wishes not have feelings for anyone.

Anyone else have a scenario??

Alright I'm a terrible person who is still editing and proofreading right now but to keep you guys occupied here have another scenario.

So in a very similar idea to the other ones we have been doing: Your character has been hunting your mark for some time now this person is a pretty terrible bio terrorist wanted throughout Citadel Space. He has sat up a dirty bomb in a small city on a small planet that almost nobody cares about except for the people that live on it. The bomb is rigged to a dead man's switch so if your mark dies the bomb goes off. The two of you are in a refueling station in orbit above the planet able to view the city directly below you. Do you let him get onto his shuttle escaping you again and saving the thousands of lives below or do you shot him and end it here and now for the good of everybody?

Ardan would call his bluff about the bomb and shoot the bastard. He'd then see the city blow up, feel kind of bad, but if Bad Guy McGee escaped, he would have come back later.

Raya would see that her prey would cause more harm if left alive than the total number of people who are in the small city. So she would kill him.... slowly. She would not give him the satisfaction of dying quickly while those on the planet die in droves. She would make him beg for death for days before finally killing him..... or she would hand his broken (both physically and mentally) but alive body over to the Citadel authorities.

Nik would shoot him there and then saving maybe millions in the long run for the death of a few thousand.

Anyway after cutting out like half of the post deciding that could rather be two posts because meeting Jek is going to be an interesting experience. The post is up!

Strange. I thought there'd be more to the post cause we were done at the outpost already.
