Bio: His mother also works as a scientist for the Republic, but they aren’t on good terms, opposing each other ideologically. His grandfather on his mother’s side was a bender that was conscripted into working for the Republic as an alternative to being culled, and that legacy continues through him. No one in his current family is a bender, but working in the Republic is a good way to ensure his and his family's place (mother and grandmother) in the inner walls.
Raised by his grandmother but followed in the footsteps in his mother. He specializes in anti-bending technology and also does conformity research for the Republic, a deep foray into the way the mind works—his mother is the works more directly with conformity advocacy, using various means, like subliminal messaging and propaganda creation, to sway the average citizen.
He's identified as genderfluid the moment that he found the word, and his experiences with this has greatly influenced their viewpoints on the topic of conformity, unconventionality, and freedom of choice.
