France is a surprisingly unpopular choice in this RP, so I'm glad someone is taking it up.
But I guess no one wants to RP a president eating cheese and signing surrender notices all the time.
So, Vilage, about those volunteers I was sending to help fight Spain.
Is there a port of Ethiopia that they could safely arrive at? And if so, which one?

That is a very interesting question. We haven't really covered what is happening in the west yet, but that sea is right beneath a major Spanish colony. If it isn't blocked, Pointe Noire would be your place, since it would be the most direct port connecting to Kinshasa and, by proxy, the rest of the country. The center of Africa is sort of patchy. There is a single rail line that leads through the area, but the road building was so expensive and so difficult that it isn't complete.
If you wanted it to be more complicated about it, Angola would be another point to land. I would imagine most of Africa will be nominally supportive of the Ethiopians, though the borders in Tanganyika-Mozambique are going to be iffy due to some politics I haven't completely explained yet
Its murky. Britain is occupying South Africa, making that a warzone where people vowing to protect the freedom of an African country might not be welcome. Not to mentioned that it is the long way round.
That being said, Spain hasn't moved to block off Mogadishu or Mombasa yet. I dunno, whatever you think works. Either way, maybe run it by Googer first?

*cough* Bermuda triangle begs to differ about "unpopular choices"
Byrd posted, so I guess it's time for me to batter up. Carnival ho!
Actually, this could be a good time for me to invade French Guiana.
