Ok, time for me to stop waiting.

I have added six (three) stable wormholes to the map that are paired up - head into one, you come out the other. I rerolled their positions so that each pair always connected different quadrants, but otherwise the results are untampered with. I am particularly pleased with the wormhole precariously positioned right next to the Southwest Blazar Bubble.

Going over the most recent sheets and reviewing them, will add new nations to the Map before updating it.

If there aren't more posts IC soon, I'll post something myself and ping everyone currently approved.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm also posting ALL MAP COORDINATES FOR EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE ANOMALIES. I'll also include @Willy Vereb's handy calculation link, as well as @Ascendant's manual calculation.

The manual calculation is actually faster once you get the hang of things but generally the online calculators are used because not all people are attuned to measure stuff.

@Ascendant and @Beach Burrito are approved and have been added to the OP.

@Beach Burrito, final line: While it has the capacity to affect and influence every species, I would appreciate it if you needed to calibrate the process for each specific species. It can affect multiple species at a time and I give you permission to retroactively upgrade previous installations with each calibration (we can say the calibrations can be made with simple software adjustments or the like), and so having to do some calibrations beforehand is a minor thing to ask.

Map updated.
Anomalies added.
Coordinates added.

@TerminalMind to add numbers for the anomalies on the map?
Without that the coordinates for the anomalies are kind of useless.
For example which number is for the wormhole that propels me close to Durandal?
What are the exit wormhole's coordinates?
I have no way to tell aside from a wild guess or measuring one of the coordinates myself.

As is described right at the top of the coordinates section, the Sequential Anomalies are listed in order of their appearance on the maps, from left to right (which remains unchanged between maps since they only shift position vertically). So Wormhole One is the the Wormhole on the far left on both maps.

Okay, I missed that.
Can make sense and hopefully this would help the other players, too.
Either way I already found the two wormholes I'm looking for.
Wormhole two and five.
11,000 lightyears of travel for the wormhole and after popping out at the other end it'd take around 10,050 lightyears to reach @Durandal.
Meaning in a sense I can already make contact with him.
@SgtEasy's civ is the other potential contact with the distance of around 12,800 lightyears.
From Wormhole Five Mihdar's Space Communists are also "only" 14,500 lightyears away, too.

@Terminal I didn't realize you were measuring coordinates from the top left instead of the bottom left. If you look at my original post, I did list that as my assumption.

So where I was hoping to actually be would accordingly be 530, 610, 530. Apologies for the miscommunication.

Will have an IC post up tonight. I was working on it but my computer decided to restart, deleting my progress.

Ok, I'll see about moving you for the next map revision - unless you're ok with your spot now.

I have to say this whole 3d map thing is an enormous pain in the ass, particularly when trying to figure out who you're closest to without going through the entire list of coordinates.

Then just don't deal with it. The way timing works IC means that you can basically just shoot interest at other factions/posters and expect to trade initial contact pings by the next post and meet up by the second, even with the speed limit.

I've written my post so that most of you have the chance to respond if you'd like. I kind of hoped the pulse might be strong enough to momentarily overpower some of your communications as well, maybe reach your public, just to be a bit of a pain heh heh. Up to you. :P

The distances are a big deal, but the FTL speed cap is rather high (relative to most NRP caps). Additionally, at the start of the RP, everyone has been in the True Vacuum for four weeks. So you have a 40,000 lightyear envelop of space which it is possible for you to have traveled across in that time - which is half the distance of our region's width at 80,000 lightyears.

Which means initial contact times are probably not going to be too intensive for you to arrange. In the future it might take longer to move around simply because you don't have the four week headstart.

Perhaps I could be moved as well, most of the people seem fairly far from me. Some of you are quite close to each other.

Although, technically my entire civilization could just pick up roots and move itself. I suppose I may do that instead, depending on how things go in the IC...
