"And that makes me happy to hear, as well." Spinel said. She watched as Sodalite ran off, presumably to see where Evenkite had gone. "If you really want me to make my own choices, then I think I should go as well. Our friends may very well be headed into danger, and if they are, I will be able to perceive it before they can." Spinel got up from the ground and dusted herself off. "You have my word that I'll bring them back safe." She proceeded to hurry after Sodalite in the direction of the Kindergarten.

Chromite

Chromite was bemused by everything she'd just seen, to say the least. "Should I... try to go after them, Commander?" she asked, referring to Reggie and Evenkite. She wasn't really sure what good she'd be doing anything else right now. She wasn't exactly a diplomat and probably wouldn't have been very useful at helping to win over the new gem, she thought, but that seemed to be the only thing Bloodstone was concerned with right now.

Melanite was fine and dandy and smiling until Eve started sewing past transgressions, she didn't think much until she started to get more and more distraught. Melanite looked over at bloodstone as Eve spoke, her gaze widened as she listened to the things the little one was saying, her throat had overcame a lump, and she removed her hand. A question now floated into her mind as she started to feel like she could not trust a soul here: were these things true? Did he actually attack them? Or was she lying...
Either way, she stepped away from everyone, and as reggie spoke of how he felt about the one that smiled so sweetly toward her, she bit her lip and held back sadness. Who even were these ones? She didn't know them and she started to feel stupid for trusting in him so quickly, maybe it was the fact she had just felt so weak and alone, and it was her desperation that made her just simply fall in love with the thought of a kind stranger, either way she had just lost her hope in these four, they're words were incredibly important to her, and now those words are hurting her ever so gently.
She took another step as the question was asked: "Would you still like to come with me to my ship?"...
...What he said earlier, she hesitated at this question remembering that the promise before at hand was: "where I can teach you all about who you are, the history of your kind, the world we come from, how to fight, how to use your powers, and more...". That thought made her looks up at him with yearning eyes, but could she trust him? her head started to hurt as an emotional internal war erupted in her thoughts and thoughts of feelings. The offer was so sweet she just answer: "yes....no...I don't know!" she shouted the last bit and turned to run, she felt like a fool about this whole situation, and her decision now didn't make her feel any less foolish, but, she just wanted to, in my own terms, get the fuck out of dodge.
She wanted to get out of this desolation walls as of now, and she wanted to think, maybe some time later when she's stronger, and not just with her own power but with her own will and emotions, she will take him up on that offer to go....home, but for now, she just wanted to think about this, and decipher
these emotions and they're actions.
She ran for as long as she could in order to get out of this hole, she wasn't sure if this place was a cage or not but she needed to scale higher then these horrifying holes. Honestly, to her, they started to look and feel like thousands of eyes watching her. In truth, she felt more alone even with the holes staring down at her, but for now, that wasn't going ot bother her, she had a goal, she would NOT lose hope this time.

Zircon sat on the grass along with the group, staring from the awestrucking (May or may not be an actual word) temple to the excellent view of a sunset. Zircon gripped the grass in her hand feeling the smooth texture while taking in what at least seems like to be a new atmosphere. Zircon then starts dozing off, just thinking to herself. 'Do they have these kind of views--er, at least the sky turning orange and all-- back wherever or whatever Homeworld is? If not, that's just one unique thing about Earth perhaps. One unique thing, probably comes with more unique things...however big this planet is. Yet Homeworld was killing that off..'

Oh Zircon. Being a sentimental little thing you.

Zircon snapped out of her dozing off state when someone asked where the others are. She wasn't really paying attention to the fact of who asked the question; she was still half-dozed for a couple seconds. She knew Evenkite left but it does seem like the numbers in the group is at least one off than it should be. Zircon watched Spinel run off to go after them before looking to Aquamarine, "S-Should I go with her?" Zircon was in a position showing she was ready to get up from where she was, but if Aquamarine wanted her to stay then she would. Although, it was only until after what Zircon said she realized that she probably wouldn't be even useful since she still hasn't figured out the weapon summoning thing yet. Still, she at least wants to try to be helpful in some kind of way if she can instead of doing nothing. Maybe she could figure it out. Psh! Who knows?! ...Damn it Zircon!

Reggie snickered as he saw that Captain Kirk seemed to have a weakness after all, a weakness to things that don't make sense. Reggie was fully aware of the insanity of everything that just happened, but he could honestly careless about it. He currently had two objectives in his mind: Bug Kirk as much as was safe until satisfied and keep Eve safe until she gets better. He wanted to help the newborn gem, but she seemed to be a little overwhelmed by everything that was going on and she wasn't his priority right no. Besides, he was sure she could take care of herself and he also knew that as long as Kirk stayed calm, he wouldn't use force to coarse her to his side . . . as long as she stayed neutral that is. When Joan of Arc talked about going after him and Eve, Reggie's hand instantly went to the gun at his side, ready to draw it at a moment's notice. While he didn't think Kirk would sign off on it, it never hurt to be safe.

Suddenly, it seems like Melanite had had enough of everything, and had bolted away from the group, the confusion seeming to turn into fear as she begun climbing a rock face not to far away. Knowing he should keep his mouth shut, but not being able to keep himself from talking, he decided to tell the good captain his two cents on the matter.

"Not that it's any of my business, but I think you should give lil' Mel some space right now. Let her cool her head and what not before approaching her again. Also, if you truly wish for her best interest at chart, tell her everything, not just the good bits. Tell what you intended to do to the planet long ago, what happened here, and why you're currently fighting her . . . brothers and sisters, I guess. But hey, what do I know, I'm just a stupid human." He rubbed his head a bit before a determined gleam enter his eyes. " A human who wants to take a look at some of this Gem Tech, though you have to promise me that if Imp here wakes up and wants off, which she likely will, that you'll let her off. I know I'm not bargaining from a position of strength here, but those be my conditions."

Bloodstone thought about Reggie' s words, the good and the bad. He didn't think about that. Blood figures he would just tell the facts with as little bias as possible but maybe the good and bad had to be told. "Chromite, I agree to Reggie' s conditions. Take him up to the ship and keep an eye on him. He's only allowed to work on the none deadly entrapment. I'm staying here." Blood pulled out his weapon, slammed its blade into the ground, and sat beside it. He decided to just sit there and wait for Melanite. "Melanite, let me explain everything. At some points you will like me and at others you will hate me but you deserve to know everything. Let me teach you. Until you're ready to talk, I'll sit here and wait." Blood looked at Reggie, "Before you go to the ship, I believe you wanted to hit me in the face. Go ahead."

"If that's what you want, Commander." Chromite tried not to sound apprehensive. She produced a touch-pad from her armor and tapped it a few times, and within seconds a bright green circle appeared on the ground. "I assume you know what to do, Reggie. Whenever you're ready."

She smiled at the comment Emerald had made about the sun before replying,"Just wait a few moments longer and it will look even more spectacular. There will be swirls of different colors and the clouds will light up in colors to match instead of their normal white." Aquamarine looked around, scanning over the gems once more as she had before sitting in the grass but frowned as something seemed a bit off. It was about the same time she noticed something off that Emerald brought up the question of where everyone was at, in which Spinel also stated the fact that the others could be in danger and she would go after them to bring them back safe. Aqua trusted Spinel to do exactly as she had said and figured she could do so just fine but she was worried about if the others were hurt. A cracking gem could break pretty fast sometimes depending on the kind and she was the only one that could heal or prevent it from continuing to happen.

"I am going to go as well just in case Sodalite or Evenkite are hurt. At this point I am even worried about Spinel safety since I still do not trust the Kindergarten. It is being watched by Home World after all which means they could be there at any moment.You gems try and find the trigger to the staircase while I'm gone so we can get into the temple upon return. Please no one else leave!" ,Aquamarine pleaded with the group before rushing off after Spinel. The last place she ever wanted to return was that desolate place but for the young gems, she would do anything.

Please let them be alright...

Melanite ran and ran through this seemingly endless canyon, she was getting tired after running for what felt like forever, and eventually like before slipped, this time, she skid on her knees. She slammed her hands on the ground and breathed deeply as her lungs had started burning, and she started to relax her body losing more and more energy from having stopped her motion. Melanite sat on her knees with her hands on the grounds now, she looked at the dirt at how little a meaningless the dirt was, then looked up at the walls and saw how they were made of the dirt...And how she was born from the dirt...She didn't want to get defeated, they're WAS a way out of here, she knew it, no more feeling like how she felt before, she could find SOMEONE she could trust, she knew it, she felt it in her heart. So without anymore hesitation she forcefully got herself back up and started running once more, nearly sprinting to find her way out of this god-forsaken place.

It didn't take long before the exhaustion took hold of her once more and she tripped, it was almost like she was awful with these feet, and she stumbled over, tumbling and rolling and hitting one of the massive diggers. She hissed and tisked as she pushed herself back up, huffing and puffing trying so hard to stand, but eventually just slipping and falling back onto her butt. Melanite huffed a massive sigh and leaned against the leg of the monstrosity, she looked up the walls, then past them at the deep blue sky, that was the most wonderful thing she had seen all day, the clouds floating so light and free, and the sun shining so bright and pure, she closed her eyes and felt the heat bake her in a kind and soothing warmth. Melanite let her head fall forward and thought for a matter of time, she began to think over what to do, and decided maybe the best thing to do is just dismiss what the "Little One" said and agree to the "Red One's" offer...

South was happening before her eyes. For the shortest moment, Sodalite's eyes had connected to Evenkite's. That was edited everything went sour. Eve had broken into another fit of Manic laughter. Reggie bagged her up and bluntly asked Bloodstone if he could hit him, and she had just taken note of the other, knight-like gem near Bloodstone. The one known as Melenite had run, and while she did want to chance after her, she wanted more desperate to free Evenkite. Her eyes narrowed and the gem once again summoned her weapons. With a single huff, the sprinted towards the group, trying to cut the bag free from Reggie and grab it to get Evenkite all in on fell swoop. If it actually worked or not, she was unsure, but almost as quickly as she appeared, Sodalite ran away, bag in hand, away from Bloodstone without hesitation.

Reggie was currently considering whether or not he shoukd go through with punching Kirk or to actual show some maturity and go up in the spaceship whennhe heard something behind him. Turning just in time to see the small blue gem rushing at him with some weird bladed gauntlets. Reggie was barely able to avoid the attack by backing away from her swing. This, however, caused him to step on green warp pad before he was ready, sending him and Eve up to the spaceship before you could say "Beam ume up, Scottie!", which is what Reggie was planning on saying before the blue gem ruined it with her random decision to seemingly murder him.

Once he appeared on the ship, he immediately fell over on his knees, gripping his head as he felt a wave of dizziness waah over him. It was so bad, he couldn't even open his eyes right now. "Oh man, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto . . . nickname number 2 for the Imp. Huh, man she's going to hate me." The thought of an angry Eve scared Reggie almost as much as the thought that one of the supposed 'good gems' tried to slice him in halm with her weird blade gauntlets. Geez, what did I ever do to her? In fact, what the hell is she doing here, I thought they were all back at Mohstown. You know what, fuck it, I'll worry about that later. Right now, it's time to open my eyes and peep the cool new tech I get to mess with. By now Reggie's vision had cleared up enough that he could begin to see the blurry scenry come into focus.

Gilles tried his best to hold in his breath as two new waves of smoke filled the air, unable to suppress a small, single cough that followed. It would be a lie to say that he wasn't relieved when he finally snuffed the cigarette out.

"If you're sure, then okay, but if you do need help, with the van or anything else, just ask, okay?" His eyes went to the thrown shirt, then back to the purple rock once more. Picking it up, throwing it up in the air, and then catching it, he tried to think of something else he could do, or if he should simply leave because he didn't seem able to, his usually quick to improvise mind clouded by the presence of the one thing he wouldn't dare touch again in his life. Which was the very thing Johnny was now offering to him.

"I don't drink," he said very quickly, "Not anymore." A brief pause and he slowly remembered to add in a "Thanks anyways," and respond to Johnny's question.

"I'm Gilles, Gilles Laurent. You can call me Tocard if you want. 'A Born Loser'. More fitting for a guy like me," he said on a much more lighthearted note, hoping it might cheer him up a bit.

{Meanwhile, Eve is nOPE.}

It had been unfortunate that Aquamarine had to stop to speak with the rest of the group while Spinel continued onward to the Kindergarten because now she had no idea which direction the Gem had gone. She found herself running through a maze of holed walls, just going with the paths flow and choosing random directions in hopes of finding the others. It worried her that the sky was slowly growing more color which meant soon they would have less to no light in this already dismal. She needed to find the two possibly three Gems if she included Evenkite as soon as possible though the small Gem had seems to want to be left alone and wanted space which meant she might not be happy with everyone's appearance especially hers. She just couldn't stand the thought of any of them hurt or having their Gem cracking or damaged with no way to heal it. Aqua took a moment to relax, thinking about moving to a higher position up the canyon wall when she noticed something or more a someone in the distance. At first she had thought it to be Zircon because of the coloring from far away but as she moved closer, she immediately noticed the differences of the two. It saddened Aquamarine to see this young Gem looking so lost and alone even frightened of the world around her with seemingly no one to turn to as far as she could tell. She carefully moved closer, not wanting to startle the new Gem too much and slowly knelt down in front of the Gem but kept a distance so the other didn't feel trapped.

"Are you alright young one? Are you hurt anywhere at all, are you? If you are injured than I would be more than happy to heal any wounds you have. If you are unharmed, than I will answer any questions you have of me or even if you have questions after you are healed than I will do that also but it really isn't safe here. It would be best if we got you out of here first, especially since it will be dark soon. I am searching for some of the young Gems like yourself that wandered away from my group so that they could follow a friend of ours. You might have seen her around the Kindergarten, she is small yellowish color and seems as though she might float away on the wind but has the strongest spirit and personality that you will ever find. The others should be with her or at least I do hope so since I fear for their safety when ever they are in this place... Oh, I apologize but I just realized I have forgotten my manners and I haven't even introduced myself. My name is Aquamarine and it is a pleasure to meet you. Do you know your name? It is fine if you do not since sometimes it takes a little while for it to come to you or it takes someone older to recognize it for you."

Hogan began his walk towards the city for what reason he needed some groceries since he ran out of food a while ago.His thoughts was on what the hell was going on in the city with news of fires and destruction of buildings around town.The tall looking man lighting a cigarette taking a deep puff and exhaling into the warm air as he made his way towards the city.

While on the almost religious walk towards the grocery store called Monocle that he visited many times in the past,Hogan must have not looked where he was going walking upon a two younger men talking and drinking presumably beer.

"Oi kid ya got a smoke?" The older man asked any of the kids since he had just used his last cigarette,He needed to buy some at the convenient store but he couldn't wait he needed the deadly nicotine sticks.

Melanite had heard her coming, she, at this point sat with her arms on her knees and her head planted on those arms, her ankles had now started hurting with sucked, and she didn't have the strength to run anymore with this body she was so new too. She looked up as Aquamarine knelt down, she looked at her and started getting more and more surpised at how many questions were just asked, she couldn't tell if this was out of astonishment? Or care, but the look in her eyes told her it was the latter. She took a quiet breath and waited for her to finish she said: "I am Melanite." she said, she didn't want to say anything else, he didn't quite trust this Gem enough to help her in any way besides to help her stand...Which she wasn't about to do, feeling like garbage currently she would rather just sit here. She put her head back down being drained of all her feelings of the moment and continued to rest. It took a moment of having Aqua just wait there awkwardly before she spoke again, not lifting her head this time: "Why do you even care...?" she muttered.

Blood stood up after realizing that Melanite was no longer nearby. He walked around before finding Melanite with Aquamarine.

"Why do you even care?"

"Because she's caring and sweet. She only wants to help, but she's unloyal and will leave you behind the moment something more heroes comes along, no matter how much you rely on her. I'm dangerous and destructive, but I'm fiercely loyal to those that stay true to me. I've done horrible things but so has she. I admit that now." Blood extended his hand out to both gems, "We both have made mistakes, and we used to be the best teammates ever. I will complete my mission to create gems here on Earth, like you Melanite, and Aqua will try and stop me, she'll try and stop the very thing that allowed you to exist. I don't want to fight with Aqua but I will do what I have to." Blood looked towards Aqua and smiled. "What made those humans so special I wonder, I think I may find the answer in that one swordsman that was hanging with Eve. I'll go back to my ship now. Melanite, you're free to choose either me or Aqua, but know that I will be forced to be your enemy if you pick Aqua. Those are my orders. I'll be leaving now." And at that, Blood left and returned to his ship, where he simply laid back in a chair propped up in front of his monitors. "Chromite, if that new gem comes along, let her up, but no other."

---Outlining of Blood's ship---

The ship has a warp pad in the center of the office at the front of the ship. The office consists of three chairs in front of a series of five large monitors that show the layout of the Earth and the locations of the Kindergartens. There is a hallway that leads from the office down the ship. There are three doors on the right, the barracks with the beds, the weapon/training room, and the room with all the mechanical equipment including the broken drones. There is one door on the left that leads to the lab. At the end of the hall is a cafeteria that has two doors, one leads to the kitchen, and the other is the temple door. Reggie is allowed in the training room, the equipment room, the cafeteria, and the kitchen.

The voice answering Melanite's question had her still, her face turning to look as she slowly stood and listened to Blood. She spoke no words, her face remaining calm but his words hurt and her eyes held more sadness than she could ever explain with actions or words. Aqua felt her hand twitch as Blood extended his hand out to both of them though she convinced herself for a split second that it was for her and not for the other gem that is until Blood continued to speak. He was right, they had both made mistakes but he would never see the war from her side and no matter how she had tried to make him understand, it seemed impossible. She hadn't wanted to fight either but she would do what she had to so she could protect this world and the ones by her side. It didn't mean that she didn't want new gems to be made or that she held humans in higher regard but this was their home and they invaded it. It wasn't the same as before and humans themselves were different. They held something special that could not be explained.

Aquamarine was shocked to see his smile or even one focused at her no matter how long it lasted which made her feelings pull too the past with that sweet flutter of emotion before it came crashing to a halt. The pain filled her once more as Blood questioned his wonder on what made the humans so special and probably to her but she couldn't focus. She wanted to push this horrible feeling away that just kept coming back every time Blood was near. It was fluttering, anger, hurt, and sadness with a bit of wishing but for what she didn't want to believe in. She curled her arms around herself, barely listening until she heard that he would be leaving. Panic started to rise and she moved forward a few step but stopped when she realized he was already gone. She didn't trust Bloodstone and things couldn't go back to the way they were and she knew this but it didn't lessen the pain."I wanted you to come with me..." Aqua stated barely above a whisper but filled with complete anguish.

You didn't let me ask....

That was her thoughts as she looked to the young new gem, tears in her eyes as the look of this gem was almost how she was feeling.
"I care because no one should have to be alone. No one should have to feel worthless for being who they are. This world is full of beauty,happiness, and wonder so much so that it dazzles you beyond all that ever is and was if you only search to find it. I want to show it to you. I want to be there for you so that you never have to feel this way again. There are other just like you that are starting out in this planet we call a home and they will understand. We are friends and we support each other. I am here right now so that if there is danger I can rise up to help or defend them. Whatever choice you make, choose what will make you happiest. Choose what is right for you. It doesn't have to be me and it doesn't even have to be Bloodstone. I just want to help because it hurts to see you like this. It hurts to see you crumbling with no one to brace on while you pick up the pieces, figure things out or to stand tall.We all need someone we can trust in..."

Gilles jumped a little at the voice.

Lies.

Gilles shot up like a freakin' spring, rising entirely from his seated position and turned sharply to the source of the voice, and then immediately bursted into laughter

"Oh yes, plenty of smoke," he said, gesturing vaguely to the wreckage of the non-residential area and letting his laughter die off as he seated himself once more, "Over there." God forbid Gilles not make a joke in bad taste.

"Seriously though, I've got nothing, man. You have any for him, Johnny?"

Sodalite had tried her best to get Evenkite back, but had only resulted in getting reggie on the warp pad and further away from her. She was still in motion however, and was a good distance away when she finally managed to slow down. She sighed. She had to get onto the ship. Chromite was there, and she seemed to be able to summon the pad at will. If she were to deactivate it, then she'd never get her little friend back.

Quickly Sodalite turned around and made another run for the warp pad. She had to get there fast. Even if she could get on, she didn't know if Reggie went anywhere. There was also Chromite, who she would have to fight to get back off, she assumed. it was likely, and the fight probably doing last that long. If she was going to do anything, it needed to be quick. Her foot touched the pad, and with the strong desire to get onto the ship and use the pad, she was warped onto the ship.

She had no idea where she was. Quickly, she looked around and chased after Reggie, going after the bag again and doing her best to pull Evenkite out and into her shielded arms. Just as quickly as she had once again entered, Sodalite ran and found a place to hide. She had to make sure that she avoided a fight with Chromite. She didn't stand a chance against the older and much more experienced gem.

Hogan didn't look admired by the joke taking another deep breath walking closer to the two,"I meant cigarettes..do you have some cigarette?" He asked once more looking down at one of them.He wasn't amused much like when he doesn't have his cigarettes he can be quite crabby,His eyes wondered towards one of the boys his hands into his pockets.

He needed his cigarette as soon as possible or he was going to flip out or rather try his best to hide it. @Loony

Melanite watched bloodstone remembering his previous words, how he promised a home and revelation, and how he smiled so gently, but, he was of course a lie, everything about him felt like a lie, how he just, looked from the neck down, the faces he made, the feelings he gave her, it was odd, after the small one went off on her rant she made everything seem clear, it was almost like it was a smudge on his Gem, a cancer in his blood, and stone in his heart, something that reminds him on how hes a lie. Whether the lie is in his life, or in his words, he resembled a lie, and it made her sad, she wanted to see what home was, and the thought at owning her own weapon was so appealing that it made her feel like she was in love with a new hope, but alas, she did not trust him one bit.
As he left she felt relatively the same as Aqua, she was heartbroken he was gone, and that she could not make of him something other then distrustful influence. When he was too far for her to speak at him she looked back down, and as Aqua began to speak again she looked up at her, another feeling welled within her and it was "Heaviness", Aqua's words were so heavy, like the a moon just swelled in Melanite's heart, she watched the Gems eyes tear up and her own began to play "simon says" with them, it was confusing, and honestly she didn't like it. but the matter was is that she felt a very heavy and honest TRUTH behind those words, a kind of religious feeling to be exact, a kind of feeling that made her, even in her "dripping" and "watery" sadness, made her grin at the pretty Gem.
"I See." she spoke, something she had, of course, never said before but felt right. Melanite let out a hand and grabbed Aqua's, an awkwardness about it that was inhuman but felt right in her, and she smiled, wiping away one of Aqua's fallen tears, Aqua had one her over, and she was willing to see these wondrous things. "Please show Melanite these things." she said in a kind and warm tone, a friendly and innocent tone that made even "giant killers" understand she was a newborn.
