As this is the lite edition, there aren't many rules here. This RP is just for people to write stuff, hone their skills, have fun, and maybe somehow create an awesome story out of it all? All I will say is:

DO NOT UPSET OTHER PLAYERS OR ENGAGE IN TIT FOR TAT ARGUMENTS.

Write as much or as little as you want.

No writing/grammar skill requirements.

No enforced frequency of posts; post whenever you like, although try not to leave people hanging.

You could just use text to describe your character? I'm sure it'll be an easy task for someone with 814 posts in 110 days, surely?

I'm just concerned that new players might see the picture, and get the wrong idea.

Appearance:
Hunter stands 5'11", though the helmet and the combat boots may change this. His armor is green with dark green highlights, The visor is a dark orange shade. There are patches on his armor where pieces have been replaced after taking hard hits, these pieces even though they are the same color as the original armor have a more, fresh look to them, well the original pieces are fairly easy to tell they have taken some hits during Hunter's service.

With out his Helmet on Hunter has short brown hair, and grey eyes. If someone was to pay attention they would notice miscellanies scars on Hunter. most relatively small, but some not as much.

Weapons:
-M45 Tactical Shotgun
-Sniper Rifle System 99 Anti-Materiel
-combat knife
-2 Grenades

Other:
-Electrical engineering experience.
-Mechanical.
-When fighting a losing battle is determine to cause as much damage a possible.

Starting Location: Island one, Northern most Ruins.

I got bored, here's some concept art of our characters. I couldn't match the weapons completely, but I did pretty good. Also, your funky camo got overwritten by the standard ODST armour colours.

But still, your character now exists beyond the realms of text :P

Many people want to be snipers. It's also funny since I heard that those anti materiel rifles were not commonly found during normal ground operations, let alone in a situation where the ODSTs were dropped during an emergency evacuation setting. I was expecting more Shotguns and the glorified scoped M6Gs.

Oh! That reminds me, if anyone is interested, I still need a spotter for my sniper team if that's what ODSTs do. I'm fairly certain that spotters still get a taste of action. There are so many snipers so yeah.

Also I know that some snipers in the army actually switch on whose spotter and whose sniper every one or two firefights or missions.

It's a known human behavioural pattern that has transcended the generations.

Everyone below a certain age just loves sniper rifles.

Never understood the fascination myself; I'm more of a run in and shoot people in the face type.

With regards to whether we have too many, or whether there should be that many, I don't think it matters much. Not really. Not in a free RP, anyway.
