The boy stopped for a moment. She didn't sound too friendly all of a sudden, but still... "Uh...I wanted to know if you wanted to get breakfast? I'm pretty sure that I know a sleepyhead when I see one, but it's a little hard to sleep well on an empty stomach, right?" He rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, brow furrowing as he thought. "Actually, were you sleeping on the stairs? I meant to ask you why you were sitting there, but I didn't get to that earlier."

"I'm not hungry and no I wasn't sleeping." Wy said as she stepped into her room, wishing the bags under her eyes were less obvious than they were.

Autumn gave the red-headed man another smile as he accepted Garry. She took her bunny back, happy he made someone else feel better. She heard Name offer for everyone to join them for breakfast but they all seemed to be busy. Autumn smelled something on the air and she realized it was the pancakes. She squeaked and raced back into the room and into the kitchen. Smoke was rising up from pan and Autumn gasped, frantically pushing a chair in front of the stove and scrambling on top of it. She grabbed the spatula and lifted the pancake from the pan. She wrinkled her nose at the burnt smell before placing the food on a plate. As she did her elbow knocked into the pan and sent it falling to the floor. The child's eyes widened and she grabbed for it, eyes widening when she felt her body tip forward to far. She gasped as gravity dragged her towards the floor and right onto the hot pan. Her small arm landed on it and she cried out in pain, scrambling away as tears filled her eye. Aiden raced to the door and began tugging on Name's coat in panic.

Name shrugged when everyone refuted his offer of breakfast. "Its for the best, I hardly have enough for me and Autumn as it is" he thought walking back inside the room.
He smelled the burning food at about the same time Autumn did and tried to tell her as she bolted "Autumn sweetie it's fine i'll get..." *CRASH* Quick as he could Name ran into the kitchen with Aiden in tow. He crouched down beside the tearing up child and began whispering in a soothing tone, "Shhhh... it's alright just let me have a look at it. It's okay! I'm hear to fix it."
Name sniffed lightly and couldn't smell any charred flesh or seared hair so the burn from the pan was only in the first degree. He then felt the arm she landed on pressing on it lightly asking Autumn "Does it hurt when I press here? How about here? If so how much?" Waiting patiently for her answers he diagnosed that it wasn't broken or sprained but it would bruise up nicely, but with a little ice it would be fine. He told her with a smile "It's going to be fine Autumn. We just need to rinse that burn in cool water and maybe rub some Aloe Vera on it later. As for that arm i'll whip you up an ice pack to make the pain go away. Also as my professional opinion as a doctor i'm prescribing... lot's of hugs from Gary." Name chuckled lightly holding up the stuffed rabbit.

Spinel had already followed the girl through the door before he realized where he had ended up. He looked around the room in surprise, taking in all the books and other various reference material lying around. "Wow...are you sure, though? It's no wonder you seem so tired, how do you sleep with all of these all in your nest like that?" The bright-eyed young man walked over to the cluttered bed and picked up a book, looking over the title and even starting to flip through it. "This is thick, too. There's no way you wouldn't notice...Hmm?"

Wy snatched the book from his hand. "Out of my room!" She shrieked as she ran around gathering up her books, maps, and papers. Her blue eyes flickered everywhere, trying to hide what she was researching until she tripped over a book on her floor and went sprawling, throwing everything in her arms across the floor.

Spinel was caught off guard by the shouting and the grabbing, but didn't react very quickly at first. He watched for a moment as she started running around frantically before she finally fell and dropped everything. "Hey, are you alright? Ah, the mess got bigger...here." Picking up a few of the scattered materials, he tucked them into the crook of one arm before holding out the other to help her up. "This is a lot, what's it even for? If it's your hobby, then maybe you need some restrictions for a while so you can get some better rest. I got caught in that trap once, and I...wait...are these...what are these?"

Blitz shook his head and went back into his room, absentmindedly forgetting to close the door. He sat on his bed and began tuning his guitar. Angry plumes of smoke shot out of his nostrils as one of the strings snapped. "Damn piece of junk, I need a real guitar!" Blitz shouted as he hurled the guitar into a wall and cracked it into several pieces. Blitz looked around the room angrily until he stopped at his open door. "Uh.."

Wy let him help her up. "I-It's all research...." She mumbled. "Locations and information. That sort of stuff." She said as she scooped up some papers, more calm than she had been.

The redhead placed the books he held as neatly as he could on the messy desk after helping the girl up. "What's it all for? Are you going somewhere?" He took another long look around the room and continued helping her clean up the books and papers all around the floor, attempting to make some neat stacks for the time being.

"I'm searching for someone. Someone who could kill everyone here and destroy this whole place just to get to me." Wy said glaring at the ground, crumpling some papers in her fist.

Blitz shuffled carefully over to his door and closed it.

Spinel stopped for a second and stared at the girl after the answer he received. "...Eh? Uh...that's...a little different than what I was expecting. Not sure what that was, but..." He cleared his throat before he could ramble too far off topic. "Ah, anyway...why would they do that, exactly? That's a pretty heavy-handed way of getting someone's attention." He chuckled a bit nervously, honestly a little unsure how to properly respond to such an assertion. It was a bit much too know so suddenly, when he couldn't even say that he knew her all that well. She didn't really seem to be joking, either, from what the redhead could tell.

"Because my father is a psychotic evil jerk who wants to use my powers for his own purposes." Wy said sitting on her bed and placing her head in her hands.

The redhead was silent for a moment, just staring. "...Ah...another one...of the crazies, then...yeah, that's no good, we kinda got children here now...we can't just..." Stopping himself by clearing his throat, he moved over to the bed and moved a couple more books so he could sit next to Wy. "Hey, ah...geez, I don't even know how to start...that's pretty bad..." He sighed and placed a hand cautiously on the girl's shoulder, trying to be as reassuring as possible despite his indecisiveness at the moment. "I guess...do you want help? I can't just say that it's going to be fine...I'm not a seer, but..." Picking up one of the books he had moved aside earlier, he tried to smile at least a little. "In any case, I can't make your decisions, but I can't exactly ignore an earnest request, either. We're a flock of some kind, so if we're stuck, it just naturally makes more sense to me to stick together, if that makes any sense."

Autumn sniffed as she spied Name speed into the kitchen, probably at Aiden's prodding. Tears streamed down her cheeks as the doctor crouched next to her. She held still as he examined her arm, asking her if it hurt when he pressed in certain places. When he pressed on the area that had hit the pan the child whimpered and nodded. She sat there as Name told her it was only a slight burn that it was only bruise. She guessed the bandages wrapped around her body had saved her arm from a worse injury. When he said they needed to run water over the burn Autumn flinched slightly. She wasn't too sure if she was comfortable with Name seeing the scars hidden under the bandages. The child set Garry in her lap and hesitantly reached for the end of the bandage. She paused before she carefully began unwrapping her small arm. As the white cloths fell away, tiny scars could be seen littering the child's arm. The worst of the scars was located on her forearm: having been cut into the small child's arm was the word 'freak'. It wasn't very big but it was large enough to be read easily. Autumn avoided Name's eyes as she held her arm back out to him.

Name's heart was torn as he saw the cruel scars and hateful message crisscrossing Autumns arm.

"If this is the way 'science' is since I've been gone... I want no part of it!" Name thought bitterly to himself. Forcing himself to ignore his angry thoughts he begin to gently guide the small arm to the kitchen sink and turn on the cool water. "Alright Sweetie this might sting a little at first but i promise it will make it feel much better in a moment." Name reassured Autumn.

Wy looked up at him with her blue eyes filled with tears. "T-Thank you." She said quietly before wiping her eyes and regaining her composure. "I would be grateful if you were to help me." She said with a strained smile.

The redhead nodded, giving the girl a pat on the shoulder. "Og course! There's no way awe could just let someone destroy our new home, after all." Looking back at all the maps and books, including the one he had picked up before, however, he had to admit that he felt just a little overwhelmed. "So, uh...where should we pick up from? Any idea exactly what to expect from this guy in case he finds us? We should probably at least consider telling the others at some point as well if it's as bad as you suggested earlier..."

"I know next to nothing about my dad. My mom died when I was young and I ended up living here. I only learned who he is when I got a letter one day a few years ago." Wy said quietly then looked at her hands. "I'll tell them soon..."
