@Kimono As for your short summary;
The story began aprox... 3 months before current events, I think, but I'm not too sure. Doesn't matter really. Anyway we started with a group of fresh chuunin graduates, who basically just got their chunin exams finished and were now chunins. Aoi threw a party and then bad shit happened, 3 kids died and Yamato was implicated in it. After some other stuff, the group then set out (partly) to deal with the miscreants that turned out to be Jashinists, followers of Jashin who were actually after Yamato and his sister. Blabla, big fight, shit went down and Yamato got in arguments with just about anyone (so 90% of the crew hates him), they kill the ringleader and basically shit goes back to normal. More or less.
Shin later contacts Yamato to figure out what the Jashinists have actually done but J8cob hasn't really gotten round to finish that. *ahem*
@J8cob Anyway, we did some small mini-missions as a in between kinda thing for arc 1 and 2, to give us time to settle arc 2 in. In this time Takeshi steps forward and reveals some information to Yamato about the Jashinists, revealing he was part of the cult at some point. Hmm.. Aoi, Daiki and Haruka get some experience leading a team, essentially 'stuff happens'. If you want a rundown of a specific character you're better off asking those people because (obviously) I remember mostly what my own characters did or were involved in.
Arc 2 was focused on retrieving a set of scrolls, so hence we called it the Arc Retrieval Scroll. The actual retrieval wasn't the interesting part (not for me anyway) and it went pretty smooth. But when they went to deliver the scrolls to the secluded land of Iron, they were set upon by two mighty Shinobi namely
Kusaru, leader of the Keihatsu, and Gian, her mysterious accomplice played by Savato. There was a small scrimmage between the two groups, with Daiki, Yamato, Saburo and Sentou attacking Kusaru and Gian, who barely even had to fight because the rest of the Konoha nin moved to stop Daiki, Yamato and Sentou. Saburo did some sharingan genjutsu shit but that didn't work on Gian (how
CURIOUS hmmmmmmm). The duo of Keihatsu have some chitchat with Ayame and Fujitora, two siblings that are respectively the hokage's assistant and the jonin commander, then leave. Everyone is like 'oh wow they're so supa strong so wierd'.
The mission was completed during the night to avoid further danger (well, more because the rest of the mission would be a bit boring.
) Then we had our current arc, which was missions again. I recommend you read Miyaka's posts, they're quite funny as she makes Tsukiko, Daiki, Takeshi and Jaakuna work for their money and fucks them up in the meantime (she made Tsukiko break her own arm). It was cool so we're intending to bring her back at some point, just cause. Aoi and Akio had a sparring match which was interesting (I ship it) where as newcomer Gin and Yamato almost immediately get in a fight, Haruka leads a team and Giichi goes with them. Meanwhile Saburo and Shouken spar a bit, but that's not done yet.
Momoi and Chihiro trash Yamato's mothers' restaurant but they do it in a fake outfit so I can't really go and kick their asses for it (lucky them).
Some other important things to note are that for conflicts, we have made Yamato and Momoi, as well as Nobunaga prodigies. That means they're basically just stronger. You can read about that in the rules.. I advise you also read the locations, there's some interesting stuff in there and it might give you ideas on where to start your character.
Also there's a 2.5 year timeskip coming up (yes it's long but we have our reasons) so you can choose to accomodate for this and have an older chunin, or you can just roll with a fresh graduate. If you want a fresh graduate, you could evne work on some previous non-IC relationships between Rei Minamoru (Yamato's lil sis), Rin Reikan, which is Sundance Kids/Altered Tundra's character, Giichi Uzumaki (ahem, I mean Naruto) which is Renny's, and Mia Uchiha, which is Masaki's character.
