Zaaaaarkun. Where ya at, buddy?
*holds Caits*
*pats hair and sits with* There, there. It'll come together somehow.
I finally posted something God my oldest has so many appointments it's ridiculous

Is he okay?
<Snipped quote by Joshua Tamashii>
He's fine but we are trying to get him ssi since his pediatrician says he has charge syndrome. So he's has a specialist for:
1. Heart- it's on the wrong side and the left chambers are enlarged because there is a hole in the wall that separate them
2.Eyes- he has coloboma which made his left pupil look like a keyhole and he has albinism, lack of pigment in hair skin and eyes(I am 1/4 albino)
3. Hearing- we just found he can't hear very well and he has one large ear and one small ear.
4. Geneticist- only they can truly diagnosed charge syndrome cause it is only found on his chromosomes.
5. Developmental- he is 17 months right now and is about mental 10 months to a year, just started attempting to belly crawl and pull himself up without my help

The keyhole pupil sound awesome if you ask me. I know what albinism is and I somewhat understand the heart stuff but the rest is over my head.
You shouldn't worry too much about the development-my brother was two before he walked and you may find that he goes through things in leaps and bounds, developing faster
As for albinism, not really anything to worry about except sunscreen and hats in even the palest of sun (due to the lack of pigment it means that the skin isn't as protected from the sun as it could be)
With technology now a days, hearing can be improved with cocrane (and in probably not spelling that right) ear plants which if when they get them as kids can give them wonderful hearing
As for the eyes, there's a lot they can do
And finally the heart, that's a bit tricky. I've only ever had one patient with their heart on the opposite side-freaked out my first year student because they couldn't find their heart beat on an ECG until I took pity on them. The hole in the wall...again technology is amazing how a days

We didn't know his heart was on the wrong side till he tried coming out at 24 weeks and put me in the hospital ugh. But heart doctor says he is going to be just fine that if anything was an issue with his future it wouldn't be his heart
