A Large School bus pulls up along the corner of the street and opens the door to let the new students on......

[30 minutes earlier]

Zaheer! Time to get up! Its the first day of school and you cannot be late for the bus!

It was the usual wake up call that have been heard throughout the years from a mother who pretty much own an "animal". Breakfast was being cooked with the favorite aroma or bacon, eggs, home fries, pancakes, and a banana on the side. It wouldn't be long before the smell made it to his room.

Zaheer was wrapped like a burrito in bed with his blanket and a pillow over his face. You should see his room, a pig sty, clothes all over the place plates and bowls on the floor and computer desk, stains and sticky I-don't-know-whats on the wall ceiling and floor. With damage and sports equipment, cleaning that would be a mother's nightmare. Zaheer, being under his blanket got a whiff of what his mother was cooking and instantaneously broke through his room door running down the stairs using his agility, holding onto the stair rail while running on the wall and flipping down to the floor so to start stuffing his face in one breath before his mother had to remind him to eat like a human.

Finally speaking once done Morning mom! Zaheer spoke, running back upstairs to do his daily rituals of dress and grooming. He gathered his backpack, placing slim jims in there and headed out so to go to the assigned bus stop he was suppose to wait at. His mother had to remind him not to start any fights this year for the fact that there could be students more powerful and unique than him and that he could get seriously hurt if he messed with the wrong ones.

[Now]

Zaheer noticed a few new students waiting at that stop, taking in their scents. Upon arrival, he could hear the bus coming from behind him as he leaped inside the moment the door opened, parkouring to the back of the bus.

[10 minutes ago]
Jack woke up earlier than he should have, it was[not gonna make a time for flexibilties sake]A.M,jack quietly made his way into the kitchen and grabbed what he needed, ate a bowl of cereal and left a note on the front door saying"off to SHA"

Jack wore his usual white jacket which he never once bothered to zip up,he had his hands in its pockets and his breath was white because it was so early

[present]jack was at the bus stop,waiting to hop on for his first day at sky high academy.he jumped on the bus as soon as it stopped

[45 min prior to bus arrival]
"*beep* *beep* *beep* *BEEP* *BEEP!*" went Erin's reinforced alarm clock as it attempted to wake the sleeping girl to minor success when she reached towards it from under her blanket and lazily flopped her hand down on top of it causing a audible creaking in the metal nightstand that it was positioned on top of. "Ugh.... time to go to school," she said before removing her thick blanket and slowly crawling out of her bed, she gingerly touched her feet to the plush carpet that made up her floor and moved the cans of soda and bottles of Gatorade as she stood up and made her way to her bathroom to take a shower. After her shower Erin logged onto her computer and started a timed Playlist of her favorite songs as she got dressed in her usual outfit of Jean shorts, a black tank top with a low cut t-shirt over it, and thigh high black stockings. When she finished getting dressed Erin clicked a button on a remote that turned on her ac in the room before walking out with a digital drawing tablet and her backpack.

Erin made herself a small breakfast of eggs and sausage with a side of toast. She sat at the table and ate her breakfast alone in the basically pristine kitchen which was almost the exact opposite of her bedroom. When she finished eating Erin cleaned up her area and walked out of the door of her house.

On Erin's way out her front door she grabbed the lunch her mother had undoubtedly left for her when she left for her work earlier in the morning "thanks mom," she said before walking out the door and locking the door with the multiple dead bolts. She made her way to the bus stop and caught it just as it pulled up and she sat in a seat next to a window after nodding to the bus driver and watching a boy basically jump to the back of the bus.

[twelve minutes prior to bus arrival]
"Alright, already the show goes on all night, til the morning we dream so long~" Dimitri sang as he stood in front of the kitchen oven and eagerly awaited the egg timer's signal to remove the treats inside. There was no need to scramble to get ready; he'd made sure to set his alarm for an hour and a half before the bus was to arrive, giving him plenty of time to prepare both himself and the batch of cookies he was baking. The boy brushed a bit of flour off of his purple shirt and grey jeans before resuming his vigil over the baked goods. All that was left now was to wait for that tell tale ring. As if on queue the timer went off, prompting a soft smile from the boy. Dimitri opened the oven door, and found himself greeted by the sight of a two dozen cookies; chocolate chip and snickerdoodles specifically. The boy reached in with his bare hand, seemingly heedless of the searing heat. The air was filled with the sweet sent of baked treats and the sound of metal against metal as Dimitri pulled out the large tray, revealing his hand to be coated in a metallic substance that shined luminously under the kitchen lighting. "Alright, they came out pretty good!" he chirped happily as he set the tray on top of the oven and closed the oven door. As he waited for the cookies to cool off, Dimitri set out a tupperware container and ran upstairs to grab his supplies for the day.

As he passed by one of the rooms to get to his at the end of the hall he caught a glimpse of his mother typing away on her work laptop and listening in to a telework meeting. Dimitri softly tapped on the door and held up his nonmetallic hand to give her the "I love you" sign in sign language. His mother grinned, however she was forced to respond to a question sent her way rather than say something to Dimitri himself. The boy moved into his room and swiftly grabbed his supplies: phone, wallet, keys, bag, epipen, everything was accounted for. He spared a moment to break off the metal covering his hand into the small garbage pail in his room before plodding back out and downstairs, being careful not to make too much noise. Dimitri gently but rapidly placed the cookies he baked in the container and shot out of the door like a bolt, just barely hearing his mother call out to him to have a good day before the door was shut.

[present time]
"Hold the bus, hold the bus!" Dimitri called out as he made a beeline for the bus. The boy somewhat clumsily made it onto the stairs after seeing another person get on. He wasn't quite able to get a full look at the other one, as he ended up a bit too preoccupied with gripping the bus' railing to prevent landing face first on the floor or dropping his cookies. Rather than being embarrassed by his near faceplant, Dimitri simply kept up his smile as he moved into the bus, taking a window seat in the third row. His seating secured Dimitri fidgeted with excitement for a brand new year of school before he took note of the steam that had begun filling the tupperware container and popped open the lid to prevent the cookies from getting soggy from the moisture.

20 minutes before

Gretchen sits at the kitchen bench, writing furiously into a notebook. Her father walks in, cheerily grabbing bagel off the counter and swiping some margerine onto it. "G'morning, honey. Busy already? You aren't even at school yet!"

Gretchen simply smiles. "I'm preparing for analysing powers. I need to set up all my tables and data logs, to save time. And I wouldn't use that margarine. It's got twenty five percent more saturated fat in it than the butter Mom bought yesterday. Just because it looks healthy, doesn't mean it is."

Her father smiles, before picking up his briefcase and heading out the door. "And that is why you're the head of this family. Have a good day!"

At the bus stop
After filling out her notebook, Gretchen heads out the door as well, walking down the road to the bus stop. Whistling a cheery tune, she sits, and it is not long before the bus arrives.

Entering the bus, she smiles and says hello to the bus driver, before entering the bus and looking for a place to sit.

5 Minutes Ago

"Uggghhhh..." The lump buried under a pile of covers and pillows that was Vince moaned as he cracked open his eyes to see what time it was. "Crap.." He groaned as he realized what time it was. In a flurry of pillows and blankets Vince exploded from his bed and started to grab clothes he could wear, the selection wasn't all too large seeing as most of the teen's wardrobe was currently stained and covered in motor oil. He finally managed to scrape together a dark grey T-shirt, pair of blue jeans, his jacket, and his combat boots. After pulling on his clothes Vince grabbed his bag, a beaten and battered old thing barely holding itself together, and dashed for the door. But before he was out of the door he stopped, leaned down, and patted the head of the furry creature curled up next to the door. "See you later girl." He said with a small smile before continuing his race out of his room.

Now At The Bus

"Crap crap crap crap." Vince kept mumbling as he made his mad sprint down the street to the school bus that was just in sight. "Don't you dare pull off yet you stupid pile of-" He said before he made one last large lunge that sent him flying straight into the bus."Yes made it!" He shouted triumphantly before he claimed a seat for himself, taking up both of the spots just for himself.

As Eris sat in her seat she looked around and her eyes settled on Gretchen and how she was just standing around so she tried to waved her over patting the seat beside her with her mother hand.

Gretchen noticed a girl gesturing to the seat next to her, and sat down with a smile. "Hey there, nice to meet you. I'm Gretchen. What's your name?" She pulls out her notebook, flipping to a new page. "I know this might sound weird, but can I ask you a little about your powers, if you have any?" She smiles sheepishly. "Most of my friends graduated last year, so I'm a free bird at the moment. I'm itching for a new investigation."

Jack takes an empty seat and pulls his hood off, revealing his brown hair and indig eyes,he raises his hand and focuses on his palm,he decides to try something,he makes a spiral pattern of ink on his hand,so the next time he has to fire ink from his hand, he has a makeshift Gatling gun at his disposal.

He notices a girl who asks someone else about their powers and tells her"sometime later you could grab my attention"he says in regards to his power

"Hi, I'm Erin AKA: MAUS" she said "I don't mind.... but I'm a bit shocked you didn't hear about me in my first year and how I almost blew up everyone when they tested my powers" Erin said as she straightened her long hair and remembered that day she accidentally swapped the truck that they had dropped on her's potential energy and kinetic energy which caused it to explode on contact with he ground. "Well anyway..." she continued giving a small cough "I can control kinetic and potential energy, what about you?"

Dimitri grinned rather widely at everyone that entered the bus. It pleased him to be seeing all of the familiar faces that appeared on the bus. The boy began to close the lid on his tupperware container, however Jack's arrival caused him to pause. This was a new face, and new faces were almost always a welcome sight. He waited until Jack took his own seat before turning and propping his knees up on his seat to give the newcomer his best smile. "Hey there, haven't seen you around the school before. Then again there are so many people...hard to keep track of 'em all." Dimitri's voice trailed off as he spaced out for a bit, as if trying to place Jack's face with anyone he knew. He wore a somewhat dopey expression as he looked upwards towards the ceiling of the bus, that smile still firmly planted on his face.

He sat like this for about three seconds before refocusing on Jack and pulling up the container of cookies and pointing it towards Jack, "Well, whether or not you're actually new it's a pleasure to meetcha. Cookie?". Despite pointing the container mainly towards Jack, he made sure to angle it enough so that if anyone else happened to want a cookie that they'd be able to get it without too much trouble, his way of nonverbally inviting others to enjoy the treats.

"Haha, so that was you? I had heard about it, but that was back when I was a lonely nerd, hiding in my makeshift lab and only studying my and my roommates powers. So, kinetic and potential energy, huh? Pretty sweet combo. One of my friends from two years back had kinetic energy, but he didn't have the added boost of potential. Still, I could probably modify the equipment I made for him to work for both of your powers..." Gretchen beams at Erin, before scribbling down some notes in her book. "I like your Super Name by the way, it's pretty cool. I don't have one myself, but I do like helping my friends name themselves."

Upon hearing the boy in the seat across from her address her, Gretchen looks over and smiles. "Hey! I might do. I'm Gretchen. What's your name?"

Jack takes out his notepad and a pen and begins to draw who knows what, using his power over the ink to fix any mistakes.

Eve was very excited to finally start school, unlike her sister Ava. whom she knew would stay home and surf the internet then make friends. she knew that she would undoubtedly learn many interesting things in this place, if she could actually find the place of course. she was having quite a bit of trouble finding the location that they needed to go, they had been wandering all around the town but was unable to locate the Bus stop that they was supposed to arrive at, she was getting really tired of searching. "Ava!! I can't find the Bus stop! HELP ME!" said Eve, feeling a bit tired and hoping that they would be able to find the place relatively soon, she was starting to become somewhat irritated because of her lack of direction, she never was very good at finding things, unlike her sister. all her sister had to go was connect to the internet and she would be able to find anything, being part human/machine. "Your the one that wanted to find the place by yourself" stated the other sister, smirking. After a couple more minutes of searching they finally stumbled upon the Bus stop, hopping onto the bus, seeing that other kids on.

The Bus Driver turn around to look at the kids! "Good everyone is here!!" closing the door and driving off. they turn the corner onto the an unknown closed street, when metal bars appeared across the students for safety before hitting the edge, turning into a flying school heading towards the school.

As the students started to gather on the bus and ending with a pair of twins getting on, Zaheer took in the scent of each person that got on and stood up, calling forth the lizard ability to crawl on the ceiling to get a better look at some of these guys. Staring down at Erin, Jack, and Gretchen for a moment without saying anything and then crawled a little further to take a look at Dimitri and Vince.

Flipping down to the center he smiled as he was crouched on all fours and then stood up smiling. All of y'all look like you could be strong....who has the coolest powers in here? Zaheer asked but before getting the answer he wanted, the bus driver started to drive off. after turning the corner and going down the closed street, Zaheer watched curiously as these metal bars came across the students for safety in which, since he was out of his seat, he was not secure. With the bus taking off in the air, the force knocked Zaheer back and nearly hit to back door. Using the reflexes of a cat, Zaheer caught one of the seats and using the lizard ability again, jumped and stuck to the ceiling once again while smiling at the amusement of a bus flying. DO IT AGAIN!! he yelled out laughing, thinking this is like a ride from an amusement park.
