Does Lorule have its own Majora's Mask? Cause in Hyrule it came from the Twilight Realm (Most likely) and Lorule likely doesn't have the same connection to that dimension.

Slowly around him he noticed it, nine lone figures standing around him in a circle two figures that seemed to be groups of four.

Shouldn't there be like fourteen heroes in Link's Mind Realm?

1. The Hero of Legend – The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
2. The Hero of Dreams – Link’s Awakening [DX]
3. The Hero of Seasons and Ages – Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages
4. The Hero of Worlds – A Link to the Past (SNES, GBA)
5. The Hero of Worlds – A Link Between Worlds
6. The Hero of Time – Ocarina of Time [Master Quest] (N64, Gamecube, 3DS), Majora’s Mask (N64, Gamecube, 3DS), Twilight Princess
7. The Hero of Twilight – Twilight Princess (Gamecube, Wii), Link’s Crossbow Training
8. The Hero of Winds – Wind Waker (Gamecube, Wii U), Phantom Hourglass
9. The Hero of Tracks – Spirit Tracks
10. The Hero of Skies – Skyward Sword
11. The Hero of Minish – Minish Cap
12. The Hero of Four – Four Swords
13. The Hero Divided – Four Swords Adventure
14. The Hero of Souls – Hyrule Warriors

Then visible but unable to speak.

15. The Hero's Shadow - Zelda II, Ocarina of Time, Four Swords, Four Swords Adventure, Hyrule Warriors, Twilight Princess, A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds

Oh and if we take my idea into account, you never got back to me on that.

16. The Forgotten Hero - Fierce Deity - Majora's Mask

The same Link appears in these games.

That doesn't on the whole seem necessary. Given the similarities between the Hy and Lorule he might have trouble understanding where he is especially if the legends about Hyrule after ten thousand years has become distorted.

2. The Hero of Dreams – Link’s Awakening [DX]
3. The Hero of Seasons and Ages – Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages
4. The Hero of Worlds – A Link to the Past (SNES, GBA)

The same Link appears in these games.

If we're not counting Shadow Link or Fierce Deity then that cuts it down to twelve not nine.

More or less the same way that the Oracle games start. Ravio is summoned to the resting place of the Triforce, the Trifroce sends him to Hyrule. After that do what you like. Maybe he's confused as to what just happened or he's on a mission to help the hero. Maybe he has to work out the differences between where he is and Lorule. After he arrives in Hyrule what he does is your choice.

I haven't planned that far yet. All I know is that the Happy Mask Salesman doesn't have it and nor does Skull Kid.

Wait, so we are actually planning on bringing the Majora's Mask into the story. Is that a good idea?

@Apollosarcher I had an idea regarding your "Hero of Memory". This has some completely invented mythology behind it so stay with me.

Their have been many heroes clad in green, the Hero of Time, Wind, Twilight, Dreams and many more. However there is one hero that is never sung about, never mentioned, has no legend to his name for one simple reason, he was not a hero. When the Cycle of the Goddesses began several thousand years ago a divine accident delivered the baby that would become the hero into the hands of the Gerudo people. Instead of killing him as was their custom the Gerudo decided to bring him up as one of there own. He was raised with the values of the desert thieves and when he was called forth to become the Champion of Light and was gifted with the Triforce of Courage he was thrilled, he set off on his quest. He vanquished the evil which he was called to defeat but when he obtained all three pieces of the Triforce rather than wishing a golden age for the people of Hyrule the Desert Hero instead followed his upbringing. He wished for ultimate power. The Triforce obliged transforming this hero into The Fierce Deity. The Fierce Deity took control of Hyrule, imprisoned its royal family and ruled for exactly one year as a tyrant. That was when the Goddesses stepped in. The Hero was meant to be the embodiment of good, of all that was right, this Fierce Deity was the kind of monster that the Hero was called to fight against. So the Goddesses waged war with this being who by virtue of his wish on the Triforce was powerful enough to combat even them. When the fight was done the Goddesses emerged victorious, the Fierce Deity stripped of his power. Ashamed of what their cycle had done to Hyrule The Goddesses razed the Fierce Deity from everyone's memory and from all written records and imprisoned his soul within a mask that they hid away in the center of the moon of another world.

So I was thinking that while no one remembers this Evil Link, because our Hero of Memory can utilize the memories of the Links that came before him the memories from this power hungry Link start to bleed through. While Link makes use of the Fierce Deity's power he is almost unstoppable but he starts to lose control of it and after awhile begins to fear that he is losing his humanity to it. I don't know if you like that or not but feel free to do with it what you want.

@Apollosarcher Where did we land on this idea? I presented it awhile back but you never said if you thought it was any good or not?

@Prince of Seraphs I like the idea but I'm not sure it would work here, mostly because of how I wanted to use the mask. The way I thought about it was Ganondorf tries to control Shadow Link, in turn Shadow Link's could be to find the Fierce Deity mask so he cannot be controlled.

I don't think the two ideas are mutually exclusive. The Fierce Deity mask represents immeasurable power that is never given any sort of context in the series. Power is what Shadow Link would need to break free, that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be good power. Shadow Link could just as easily use the power of a forgotten hero to rid himself of Ganondorf's influence. As a bonus it would play into his complex of wanting to be better than the hero.

That all of course would depend on where @JDizzle383 wants to go with the character. Besides the two ideas while both involving Fierce Deity focus on different elements of his power base. Link would be using his powers through the memory link while Shadow Link would be searching for the mask. It could even be that when Shadow Link finally does take up the mask there is some sort of internal war fought within Link and Shadow Link over who controls the power of the Fierce Deity. Just a thought.

@Prince of Seraphs Also I don't count Hyrule warriors Hero as I don't really know where he fits and is stated to very non-canon. "Nine lone figures standing around him in a circle two figures that seemed to be groups of four." I have the other eleven.
