So basically we all take characters from our own ball game and pit them at one thing
No, your characters aren't going to be 'pitted'. I strongly note that the nature of this series of threads is collaborative, not competitive, and not to think of this as a generic multiverse crossover as it is a writing exercise (with all the baggage it implies). If the player behind a character deliberately acts in a disruptive manner and without respect to other writers' wishes, he/she should expect the boot. On the other hand, a player shouldn't whine when things don't go as what he/she had in mind.
I allow bringing characters with high 'power levels' and normal civilians, but if, say, the writer for this completely defenseless girl-in-a-wheelchair wants to develop his/her character while being unharmed by the far more powerful characters, other players better do their damnest to prevent their magic-and-gun-slinging characters from harming her, even if it means OOC; unless, of course, they have consulted with the the player him/herself and she gives the OK.
OOC will be up shortly.
