I noticed that! Weird too, I used to always play girls but in recent months I've just grown tired of my female characters XD as well, more often than not RPs have female dominated casts! Interesting to see what does what, eh?

I usually play female characters. I tried to switch every other character, but I kinda feel into the habit of making women/girls because the ended up being my favorite characters.

I hate doing things like this, especially because I've already kept you waiting for so damn long... but can you, maybe, let me join in at a later time, if that is at all possible? I've simply got too much on my plate right now to have time for roleplaying at all. I thought I would get the time, but it turns out everything is taking more out of me than I thought and what little "free" time I ahve, I really just want to spend on the couch with my family.

I think that I'll get the time in about a month or so, when the initial stress of new school, job and having to see my daughter off to daycare every day has gone down a bit and I've gotten more used to actually doing something again after almost two years of just wandering around at home (and taking are of a baby for the past 11 months).

I really (REALLY) think this a cool idea and I really (REALLY) want to be a part of it, so if it is at all possible for me to join at a later time, I really would appreciate it. If not, I completely understand and I will follow the thread and watch the story unfold anyways.

No probs Hatter. I know you've been interested in this from the beginning. Take the time you need. When the times comes and if you decide you want to join up, we'll find a way to implement your character into the present plot. I actually don't really think it'll be that much of a hassle to introduce a new character later in the plot, so everything should go fine.

As for everyone else, I hope you all are okay with this, and okay with playing with just six players. I'll get in the next plot post soon, and we can get this thing really going.

That's fine. Adulting sucks and sometimes life throws a million curve balls. I think we'll be okay for now.

I'm in college so I still get to be a kid sometimes, but I've also had to leave or take a hiatus from RPs because of life-things-stuff. I hope that life settles down nice and good soon so you can find the time to participate with us. :D

Hey all. I'm working on a post to get things moving. Thing is, classes are about to start up, so I might not have it up till friday or the weekend. Hope everyone is ok with that, and sorry for the delay!

Posted. There are a few typos. Forgive me, I'm tired :( Either way, just to clarify guards, they're just employees who help around the facility...however, they happened to be trained in self-defense, just in case the kids decide to turn on them. In the post that I made, what happened is, the characters were woken and guided by several guards to the Gym, where's they've met 3/4ths of the team that's going to be experimenting on them.

I will get in a post in later, maybe tomorrow in the break between classes, or during the weekend. Just to repeat what I just posted elsewhere:

Classes start tomorrow. I may start being a lot slower (even slower than I already am) these next few months. I think I'm taking a lot of reading and writing intensive classes this semester, and so I'll be a little slowed by that. I'll still have my long weekend to reply, but I'm also looking for a job. Either way, things are going to get a little tight from here till winter.

I have classes starting on Monday, but I'm not sure how that's going to affect my schedule if at all.

Ahh, so drewccap's post totally reminded me, on the topic of NPCs. I'll be compiling an NPC list. If any of your NPCs (presuming you all make more) are dear and near to your heart, don't be afraid to ask me to list them as, literally, your NPC...in fact, ultimately, I'm probably going to list the NPC's creator anyway. This is a pretty in depth roleplay, so, while I don't want us to be flooded with characters, feel free to go wild on what NPCs you do make. Flesh them out, give them personality, backstory, motivations. Anything you'd like.

I've been working on a post. It's slow going because I've been really busy/tired this past week.

It's absolutely not a problem because I'm in the same boat right now. I'm working on posts in the little pinholes of time I have between classes. I have a four hour break today, and happily thought I would get a post in for another rp, but no, I have homework. And the worse thing is, I'm taking a language this semester to wrap up my college's language requirements and I am no good at foreign language. I simply have nil interest in learning another language, and for that reason, I need time to learn it, time that the brief semester doesn't offer. And already, she wants us to do a video, which is annoying af! I'm ready to drop it and take it another semester, seeing as I've already forgotten everything anyway.

Ugh, but I'm ranting now. It's no problem you guys are taking long. It's going slow on my side too. Good luck to everyone in whatever struggles they have this week.

Hey, if I take a long time to post (work has been crazy and then I start school tomorrow and most of my own time is spent trying to stave off back pain) you can say that my character is sitting with a few pieces of sketchbook paper and a pencil and looking kind of uncomfortably at everyone else. He's really fucking tall and kind of really weird looking so he's a bit uncomfortable, though he's not as suspicious of the situation as some of the others are.

This is in case I take forever or someone wants to mention him if I haven't posted yet. Thanks!
