As Kousei continued down past the various aisles he could faintly hear some footsteps getting closer and closer to his location. One thing immediately popped into his mind and it was that it was either going to be friend or foe. He gripped his left hand tighter around his bow and continued to quietly move along. He did his best to tighten up his bag to his body to ensure it would not rattle around too much, he did not want the sound of the various canned foods in his bag attracting the undead and survivors.「I hope on everything the footsteps are friendly...」

Finn had watched the exchange between Ved and the two strangers in silence. About half way through it, he sheepishly put his hands down. The girl started walking off, but threatened them as she did.

Bad idea... Finn thought, and then flinched as Ved grabbed her bow and threw it. During the next exchange, as the next stranger followed, Finn slowly knelt down and picked up his measly kitchen knife.

Now he had a decision to make. Stay with the man who saved his life, but did seem to be a psycho, or follow two complete strangers with the promise of food. Finn looked back and forth at his options before making up his mind.

Finn turned to Ved, "Thank you so much for saving my life and all, but I think I'm gonna follow them. Cause y'know, I really need food and all..." Finn took a sheepish step away.

Also, you kinda scare me shitless...

Lydia carefully stepped down the aisles, peeking at each with curiosity and caution. Even if she didn't find any food, she at least needed some water or she would surely be dead by the end of the week. She was already feeling the physical effects of mild dehydration; chapped lips and dry skin. "I'm guessing we're all strangers here." She said, to no one in particular.

Finn caught up with the two strangers, just in time to catch what the girl had said.

"Errr... Yeah," Finn replied, unsure if he should, "I guess... Err... I'm Finn." He silently kicked himself for sounding like such an idiot. He knew that in the apocalypse you needed to be strong, or be left behind.

"Good luck surviving with that knife and those pansies."
He called after him with a soft chuckle, his boots thumping as he walked down to the sports section, searching for a tin of boot polish and a baseball bat. He'd do good to have a weapon that would but a few feet between him abd the undead, he came close to getting bit before.

As he searched, he encountered a pile of remains, presumably human remains, on the floor, some of the half eaten and others untouched. He knew what that meant, that horde of undead earlier wasn't the enire pupulation of infected at this location. He slipped his hands into his flight jacket pockets, slipping the brass knuckles over his fingers in preperation.

Now we are three, with no time to truly evaluate his new companions Mies focused on finding food and supplies. Slowly walking and checking each aisle. It was dark but there was just enough light to see shapes. Far down each aisle movement could be seen, but nothing rushed them.

Finally they came upon a canned food section. With a calm and curious approach, Mies stepped into the aisle and picked up one of the sparse choices laying about. 'Big Boy's Chillie' the can read. He put it into his bag and continued down the aisle with his companions.

It had been quite a journey from the most rural areas of the state, to get into the city. Joseph and Winifred had survived for as long as they could with what was left over in his farm house. But when the undead eventually overran it, it was a testimony that no where was safe. Not the city, not the farm land. Earlier on, the two had agreed that they would not enter the city. But yet, here they were, trudging along in Joseph's truck, heading into the suburbs.

Gas, food, supplies. They had few but not enough to last them too long. They thought it best to try the suburbs before entering the big city with sky scrapers and undead at every corner. Joseph slowly patrolled his truck through the abandoned streets of the suburbs, in search of stores. They eventually got out of the residential areas and entered the commercial. A big, shiny, Walmart sitting right in the middle of it all.

"You think we out to try that Walmart?" Winifred asked the man who had come to act as her father.

Joseph shook his head slowly as he pulled his truck to a stop in the parking lot. It was completely empty as if it were the dead of night, and not the middle of the day. "No, a place that big could easily get us in trouble. It's probably ransacked anyway."

"Can't hurt to try," Winifred persisted.

"It's not safe. We can try that Drug Mart over there."

"Come on, let's go. Stop being such a hard ass," Winifred whined. She loved the man but sometimes she couldn't understand why he was so worried all the time.

Joseph shot her a hard glance. "Ok. But you stay here."

"What?! Joseph, that's not fair, you-"

"Stay. In case we need to get away fast, you need to wait in the driver's seat. Do not leave this truck." Joseph placed his hand on her shoulder, trying to get her to look up at him. "Ok?" Joseph couldn't fool her into thinking he didn't care that she was upset with him.

"Fine." Winifred stomped her foot on the floor of the truck before reluctantly getting into the driver's seat. She hated being told what to do but she wasn't about to throw a tantrum in the parking lot.

Joseph emerged from the truck with his gun at the ready as he made his way towards the Walmart. The undead stumbled about the parking lot but did not take notice of him...it seemed they were all slowly shuffling towards the doors of the Walmart themselves. Joseph took a huff of air before walking into the Walmart, preparing himself for who or what he was about to encounter.

Lydia nodded slowly, examining all the shelves for canned foods carefully. She found some canned peaches, and hummed in satisfaction to herself, I should have enough food for the next two days, if I'm careful. She mused, slipping the can into her bag before looking for anything else. "I'm Lydia," she introduced herself, looking over her shoulder to give one of the guys - Finn, a polite smile before turning back to her investigation. Lydia took hold of her bag, holding onto her bow between her side and elbow for a moment as she checked stock of her food and drink. "I don't suppose you found any bottled water around here, have you?" She asked Finn, seeing as the other guy was busy as she peered into another aisle.

"Uh, yeah." Finn said, as he pulled out his full water bottle, and handed it to the girl. He smiled as she took it and thanked him. He turned to the food, and grabbed a few cans of beans. "You wouldn't happen to have a spare weapon would you," Finn asked sheepishly as he raised his knife, "cause this just ain't gonna cut it..."

Lydia took the bottle, smiling, "thanks for that," she said. She twisted the lid and took a sip, sighing in relief as the water soothed her dry throat. She stuffed the bottle into her bag as she looked at him in thought. "I just have a small pocket knife. We can check the camping section for any make shift weapons if you want?" She offered, stepping back from the aisle.

She looked around, her eyebrows furrowing as she didn't spot any of the undead walking around. She was surprised, either they didn't hear the commotion at the entrance of the Walmart, or they were coming in uncharacteristically quietly.

"Errr... Can I have my water-" Finn took another look at Lydia's bow, and thought about it for a second, "You know what, you keep it... I wasn't using anyways..."

Finn sighed as he looked behind him, wondering what his saviour Ved had got up to.

Oblivious to the water situation, Lydia continued on. "I'm sure we'll manage to find something you could use as a weapon. Plus, I'm sure I heard that there was a weapons area around here somewhere. Maybe we'll luck out there." Optimistically, she began searching for the camping aisle. She was sure that majority of the good stuff would be gone, but maybe they could scrounge up something for him. She kept hold of her bow, but she wasn't aiming her arrows at anything in particular, she didn't realise people would actually take her earlier 'threat' seriously.

His heavy boots thumped away from the direction the others were heading, towards the garden supplies section. Unsurprisingly they were nearly overflowing, and he quickly found a surplus of what he needed. Lifting the bottle he double checked the name and ingredients 'Spectacide; Stump Killer- 100% Potassium Nitrate' Satisfied, he put every bottle he could see, five in total, into a large duffle bag. Moving a bit down the aisle he found a 5-pound bag of a powder labelled Elemental Sulfur, and placed it in his bag as well. Moving to another Aisle, he found a single large bag of charcoal and place it into his duffel bag. Finally, he grabbed a small heavy duty grinding bowl.

Grabbing another bag, he moved to the home improvement section and filled it with as much PVC pipe, caps, and glue as he could, as well as a few hundred feet of single strand string, a solar powered drill, several large boxes of nails, a pipe-saw, and a pair of scissors.

As he began scavenging through the section that contained a lot of home improvement goods he began to hear heavy foot steps really close to him, it was obvious this was not an infected as the footsteps were moving around as if they were going through the various shelves. What really confirmed it for him was the sound of various items being taken off the shelves. The noises were not too loud and as such there was no way of attracting the infected but Kousei was not sure whether or not this fell survivor was a friendly or not. With his left hand he drew the arrow back slightly and slowly began creeping about getting into the aisle that was just one away from the sound of looting. Once he confirmed the location of the person he crept out just to the entrance of the aisle the other survivor was in and pulled the arrow back completely readying it to fire.「Look don't move from where you are, I just want to know are you a part of a group and whether or not you guys are friendly.」Kousei trained the bow right onto the guys torso since no matter what if the man was hit he would be incapactiated because of the pain.「I will lower my weapon as soon as I know there will be no problems.」

He had just stood up from zipping the bag when he saw the man come around the corner with a drawn bow aiming for his chest and stomach area.
"You ain't too smart, are ya?"
He asked with a low chuckle, then chucking the heavier of the two duffle bags, dropping the lighter, and sprinting forward, his shoulder aimed for the mans ribcage. No matter what, the bag would either take the shot or throw it off. It was up to this man whether or not he could get out of the way fast enough to avoid being plowed into the air, and then the ground soon after. Ved was moving like a tank, not too fast, but fast enough to be a real threat.

Putting a last can of food into his bag, Mies was satisfied. Easily enough food for a few days with some rationing. But now the burden, clinking cans while walking, a front entrance most likely swamped with the undead. It was time to leave this place before he became a permanent resident.

Walking up to Lydia and the young man, Meis said: "It is time to leave, we can hash out trades at a later time. Follow me. We head to hardware to grab a flash-light and then out of here through the back of the store."

With that he headed down the aisles. Though now the unease had begun. The sound of the cans clinking was starting to draw some attention. There was time, but non for foolishness. Get the flash-light and get out was the objective now.

Using what time he had Kousei released the tension he had on the string and took the arrow by the shaft and held it in his hand tightly he held his bow tightly in his right hand and the arrow, pointed forward in his right. He figured if the man charging towards him was smart enough he would notice that he had the arrow pointed straight at the man and that meant if he continued on his charge he would be impaled by the arrow in an instant.「I said I would reason.」There was no time for Kousei to get out of the way so he figured he would stand his ground and defend himself in the way he thought best. Seeing as his bow was no use right now, he dropped it to his side and drew another arrow from the quiver around his waist, immediately he did the same as he did with the arrow in his right hand and held the arrow in his left hand by the shaft pointing it straight towards the man charging.

Finn nodded at the unnamed man, "you're right. Let's g-" He turned his head to the side, as he tried to listen. "You here that?" Finn could here what sounded like a fight going on.

Finn looked back at Lydia, "I'll be right back. Don't die." Finn started to run towards the noise, "Cause you still have my bottle!"

Finn ran round a corner to find Ved charging at a stranger with another bow and arrow. "What the hell are you guys doing?!?"

As he charged, he saw things unfold in slow motion, which was common in situations that got his blood flowing with adrenaline. He watched as the man drew out two arrows and held them like pointed daggers, aiming directly towards him. Instead of continuing to rush forward, he moved to the left of the man, and dropped down to his knees, sliding with his right leg extended, hooking onto the mans Ankles and pulling them out from under him.
"Speaking with an aimed weapon is Fascism, not reasoning."
He growled, standing up, looming over the downed man. Then doing the unexpected, and offering a hand to help him up.
"Act as a fascist again, and you will be crushed, not debated. "
He warned lowly, he would allow a single second chance to anyone who acted in a manner similar to Fascism. It was a common mistake in this wasteland, and he would correct them, but only once. If they did it a second time, they would either be crushed, or left for dead.

Falling to the ground Kousei lost the grip of the two arrows in his hands and as such they fell to the ground beside him. Laid out on the floor he stared up at the ceiling before the hand of the man came into vision. Kousei had been outdone but it was whatever at least he was not dead and at the very least he now knew this man was not the type to kill on sight.「Well if being fascist means I can at least have the upper hand for even a brief a second I am ok with being fascist, but I can see you are not an enemy to me seeing as if you wanted to you could've killed me by now, so I will be sure to not do that again towards you.」He reached up and grabbed a hold of the man's hand and got back up to his feet. As soon as he was set he grabbed his bow as well as the arrows that were on either side of him.「Ok let's try this again, is there anyone else? If so are they friendly?」Kousei said as he slid the two arrows into his quiver and his bow over his shoulder.

As Kousei was settled, he ehard a voice chime out from the side. Immediately he turned his head and spotted another human figure. It was another male and this one seemed very concerned as to what had just went down.「Just a bit of trial and error from me.」He said as he faced the unfamiliar person.
