I have a half-lion character in my oc list. I could use him myself, only issue is that i have no picture, and there wouldnt be one available that accurately describes his appearance.

Edit: who knows, might add umbra or akira as a character later on? Havent decided... Though i wonder, i did have a character in mind, but i need to ask, are vampires in this series? And if so, in what way are they interpreted?

@The_written_JohnYes and no. Yes they exist but they are one of those grey areas that REALLY need fleshing out but I have some ideas for it.

Edit: If you REALLY want to play one we can talk but they tend to be a little problematic because they are undead and one of the few things in Galendar that is just downright evil

Here you go. Its not just the Lord of Fire. Its the full blurb for the Elemental Lords and Ladies. Have fun

There are eight elemental lords and three elemental lords of shadow that have split the power of one elemental lord.

The Eight elemental lords do not necessarily represent the most prevalent elements. Infact more than a few elemental lords are the result of off shoot elementals rising to lord status through political manoeuvring and growing a power base.

The lords/ladies are:

The Elemental Lord of Storms- Christian’s father and the third most powerful Elemental lord. The Elemental Lord of Storms is arrogant and highly traditional demanding respect from all.
The Elemental Lady of Water- The council of elements second oldest member and by far the wittiest, currently lacks an Avatar
The Elemental Lady of Air- The fourth oldest member of the elemental council, she lacks much of the restraint of the other members but is often the most easy going
The Elemental Lord of Fire- The third oldest and second most powerful member of the council. The elemental lord of fire is cunning and ruthless without limit.
The Elemental Lord of Earth- The oldest and most powerful member of the council. The elemental lord of earth is the slowest to move to action however he is single handedly the wisest and patient member of the council. He is also known for his capacity to hold a grudge
The Elemental Lady of Metal- One of the younger members of the Elemental lords. The Elemental Lady of Metal is often one of the most divided members of the council and is seen as a swing vote and rogue.
The Elemental Lord of Sand- The youngest and most volatile member of the council. The Elemental Lord of Sands almost always sides with the Elemental Lord of Earth’s decisions out of respect for the one who helped him ascend to status as an Elemental Lord. Most speculate that it was a political move on the Lord of Earth’s part as it required him to give up part of his power and domain.
The Elemental Lady of Woods- Another rogue on the council the Lady of Woods is seen as unpredictable and easily swayed by the other members. She is the second swing vote on the council.
The Elemental Lords and Lady of Shadow (Tribunal)- These three Elementals share the power of an elemental Lord split three ways. This was done intentionally by the council as a means of preventing another Lord rising to the council. The Tribunal of Shadow also has no voice on the council unless the council is split evenly.

@TruthOkay so character Edits (yes its a Triple post just deal with it). Parent not parents Nephilim are the children of One Angel and one other being. The children of two angel's are born angel. Also if his Father was an Angel he would not have lived in the city. Most Nephilim are born through an angel that serves a god being sent on a mission and then encountering another being they fall for. It IS possible that the characters father could have been in the city an extended mission for the purpose of helping the inhabitants. So I would decide on what god the father served if you want to go that route. If it was mom then that doesnt matter but the question remains how could he have learned from his angelic parent unless she was in his life. So you can either get rid of that or come up with a reason for the angelic parent to stay. Okay the scythe is cool BUT i'm okay with it being able to remember everything for him. The catch is. It wont let him APPLY it automatically. Big difference between theoretical and technical knowledge. So he can for sure use the scythe to record memories and then practice the techniques later but the scythe cant do the work for him. Its too strong. The Aegis, its cool, I like that it identifies things. Very neat touch. However. Antimagic is INSANELY powerful in Galendar. So I'm thinking it can dissipate the mid to lower level magics that get leveled at him but if it gets hit by something high end Like a warlock's Hellfire or a Wyrdshapers Faefire or even just an Elementalist using a high end magical version of their lords element its not going to stop it all. Id be willing to say it can block most targeted force magics and most enchanted weapons. I think that's fair. So it wont protect him from other types of magics, illusion, alchemy that sort of thing it wont block. Or a Powerful force magic. Just because of how dangerous someone with a decent will and some anti magic can really be. If it turns out that it makes him under the power curve when we get started, we can certainly talk and see about making an adjustment. I'm also in agreement with Grin. The possessions need to be more specific just because of how easy it is to use that as a source of convenient items/artifacts/whatever you need at the time. I don't think you'd abuse it but there is always the possibility. Additionally there is sort of a suspension of disbelief issue with it if the character can just come up with the solution to problems with it. Its what i like to call the batman's utility belt problem. When he magically produces the solution to a specific problem with his convenient utility belt you sort of gone. "Oh that's bullshit who would have a (insert highly specific item here)" Other than that (It seems like a lot but it was just a lot of me talking about three smaller fixes) I like the character and I'd like to see where you go with the character. If you feel creative it might be cool to add the potential for an old enemy returning or something in his past to potentially bring up later. Just a thought. If you have any questions or you think I'm off base with something PLEASE let me know I have a fair bit on my plate so there is a possibility i got something wrong or missed something.

On the list. I didnt see any problems with it the first time so as far as i'm concerned it is good. I just wanted a second look, which I will take at all the CS eventually just to make sure i didnt miss anything but for right now. Assume you are completely good.

@Archangel89Okay first thing right off the bat. Superior will in a PC is an absolute no. The difference between superior and greater will is like the difference between a rocket launcher and a piece of field artillery. There is a HUGE leap in power between the two levels of will. So no. Sorry if I didn't make that clear on the character sheet. Okay so you probably mean Devil. Now I know this is going to sound WEIRD but. The average Demon isn't usually evil and the don't have innately evil powers. They are agents of Chaos for the most part. While Angels are agents of order for the most part. So if you want something that tends to be in more of the Evil sort of category Devils tend to be more up that alley. You can for sure use the Demon if you want but im just giving you a quick fyi, It could certainly be an evil Demon. (oh and even further aside The character technically a Chambrion. Anything that is half demon is technically a Chambrion the same way anything half Devil is a Hellspawned you just include the second race in parentheses). So he might be a stupid powerful Fire elementalist but keep in mind he is not an Avatar so there are going to be beings that are equal to or more powerful than him in the fire magic department. As far as the Great Lord of Fire goes its fine if he's a cleric (elementalist) but he is not The Elemental lord of Fires Avatar. Additionally Elves are typically wyrdshapers so they rarely dabble in force magic. Ogres might be a more appropriate choice in this case. Other than that I like the character. It is a new take on a member of the tower of stars by proxy. Which i like. It could be interesting to see a sort of freedom plot go along with this character. Any questions or things that you think i was off base with let me know

The will was just because I wasn't sure what he would actually have so I just hyphenated it. The backstory was intended to be intentionally vague since it was supposed to be a legend that was passed down from teller to teller, although I think I will make him hellspawned. The Great Lord of fire (as far as the story goes) was supposed to be the the actual elemental lord of fire in a temple like setting.

@Archangel89Im totally cool with how you used the Lord of Fire its very cool, if you want to keep the back story vague that is fine, and the will thing we obviously cleared up. So one really quick thing to keep in mind. Elemental Lords are prohibited from physically entering Galendar. Which is why they have Avatars so if you need a physical appearance you could for sure use The Lord of Fires Avatar as part of the back story if you need a physical appearance but if you're okay with just like a proxy image or something like that its fine.

I hadn't quite figured out the social structure of these people but it's supposed to be like a big fire that the elementalists pray to if tha t makes sense
