Right, Phantom did some measuring using a concept art of the dorms in RWBY, and this is what we have determined for the purpose of the RP. You may decorate your dorms however you like, within reason, using this information. If you wanted to.

Dorms are 13ft deep, 24ft long and 12ft high with a 6ft window. Door is in middle of wall, window is opposite. Beds default form is singles, but legs clip together and pins slot in to make them bunkbeds. Pins are sitting on a desk when the teams first walk in. Standard practise after the RWBY incident the previous year. Four beds (standard size, 7’ by 4’ wide) and four desks (2’ by 3’6” wide) are provided with the room, plus simple desk chairs.

On either side of the room are two walk in robes, with doors opening into the room and able to be opened or closed from inside the robes. Each runs the depth of the room, and are lined on both sides with shallow drawers and shelves. Standing room is 2' wide. There is a full length mirror at either end of the robes.

There are no letters open at the moment, however feel free to pick any letter you like. If you want more freedom in naming a character, we also employ the 'Middle Name Loophole', which is where the middle name can be used in the team acronym, just as Viola Lis Marsilea using Lis to be part of CLRT. If you wanted, you can use that loophole to match yourself to multiple letters.

We do employ a rule that if your character dies in the RP, a reserve player is put in before you can jump in yourself, which means that even if our players are available for posting constantly, RPers can still switch out. And, I would have to talk to Phantom about this, but we might even be able to make a third team, if we get enough reserves.

Well, we certainly allow dust infusion in weapons, though I am unsure on the specifics of amplifying aura abilities as we haven't really seen anything in the show to suggest that is possible yet. I'll have to leave that question to the GM, Phantom, I'm afraid.

Are teachers only reserved for GMs?

We're kind of full up on faculty at them moment, as teachers aren't something the RP is going to focus on beyond student/teacher interaction occasionally (which is really up to the discretion of the players themselves). This RP is designed to follow students around more than the teachers themselves, so I'm afraid that if you made a teacher you wouldn't really get that much interaction or activities to day.

I have see it in the 2nd volume. Although it is more to do with semblance but The two people who have shown to use dust to enhance their abilities are Weiss and Blake.

Well, yes, but neither used a weapon that is purely dust based...look at it like this.

It is a good bet that Remnant does not have gunpowder, and uses fire dust as an alternative. Hence why their bullets can be referred to as Dust rounds. Now imagine a sword made purely out of it; chances are it will blow up in your face after one clash causes one to many sparks.

Furthermore dust is a consumable resource, a sword made out of dust will eat itself in order to produce a desired effect…hence why both Weiss and Blake utilize steel like weapons with dust compartments, and not blades made out of dust.
