Used in Seres' right hand and sheathed in a black sheath behind his waist, the black knife has a full tang which is wrapped in slightly softened leather strips and has a small black iron cap at the end of the hilt and a black iron guard about 4 inches from the pommel.

Wroughtwilder Throwing Weapons
An unique combnation of a throwing star and a throwing axe, the WTW looks like a normal, black, four-pointed throwing star but one point has been pull out, giving it a distinctive cross shape. There is an edge towards the bottom of the handle. Several holes have been drilled into it, giving it superb balance but it moves slower in the air compared to normal throwing knives. 5 of them are stored in a sling pouch located on Seres' left hip.

Fog Pellets
They're glorified smoke bombs that Seres' can hold two at a time in his hand. They have a pretty good duration and density and also go off with a loud "bang" when thrown against the ground. What else is there to say?

Background:

Once a small time thief, Seres got a name not for how stealthily he stole items, but how fast he ran and hid from authorities. As his fame grew, so did the value of his "treasures". Of course, as luck would have it, he would eventually be jailed after an attempt to steal a brooch of the crown prince. He thought his execution would be inevitable but the prince was so impressed by his effort and his skills, he bailed out the thief but in return he would have to work as a scout in his army.

Once in his army, Seres quickly rose through the ranks of scouts and informers, often predicting ambushes and traps on the path. However, the army was ambushed outside a town they were camping and in a sudden deadly suprise attack, rebels killed both the prince and most of his army.

Now, with no where to go and a belly to feed, he become a mercenaries, protecting nobles and royals. Most time it was easy work and good pay but he has kept his skills sharp just in case. And now with his newest contract, he'll have to put all of his skills to work.

Arm Right: Longsword, 90 cm long blade and 25 cm handle, 115 cm in total. Specialized for thrusting, having strong taper towards the end and a narrow point.

Arm Left: Mace, 50 cm long solid steel handle with a leather strap. The head is flanged and is another 20 cm in length, including a 5 cm spike on top.

Secondary weapon: Rondel dagger, 40 cm long.

Armor

Helm: Sallet helm with visor and bevor, worn over a chainmail hood and leather cap, padded with cotton.

Shoulders: Pauldrons, with chainmail and gambeson underneath.

Bracers: Rebrace, vambrace and gaunlets worn over the gambeson and protecting almost the entirety of his arms. No elbow protection save for the gambeson.

Chest Piece: Breastplate, fit with front piece and back piece and reaching down to his waist. From waist downwards, a tasset covers him, reaching down slightly below his groin. Both are worn over chainmail beneath a bright red gambeson, which reach down as low as his tassets.

Leggings: None, his legs protected only by leather pants. A pair of steel caps cover the front of his knees.

Greaves: Gernev wears thick leather boots, with steel plates fitted over the foot to imitate sabatons.

Emblems: the Black Talon Emblem is located on his pauldrons, while his tribal marking is painted over the chest. The tribal marking pictures a tall mountain, with its crevices coming together to form an ornament skull-like shapes.

Background: Gernev comes from the nomadic orc tribe of the Nagorskii, which separated from northern hordes and migrated to the south-east prior to his birth. There, they lived off producing livestock and raiding caravans, occasionally offering their services as mercenaries, nomads such as them being highly valued in long military campaigns for their resilience. However, far away from the orc mainland, the Nagorskii tribe gradually waned in numbers, until its remaining members eventually scattered, leaving Gernev all on his own. Being an experienced warrior and pillager, he came to join the Black Talon and simply continued doing what he knew best: killing for riches and staying alive.
