Evangeline doesn't exactly hang out with Alva too much, though they are on the Quidditch team together and Eva is the captain. The only time her and Alva really talk is when Greg and Alva are playing cards or they're at Quidditch practice. Besides that, they don't really run in the same circles.

Eva met Slick when they were both first years, getting into the same House together. They became closer friends when they both got on the Quidditch team their second year and have been friends ever since. Eva began getting a small crush on Slick during her fourth year, and it has grown immensely ever since. She has yet to tell him though, and doesn't plan on it soon. She's always the one who tries to keep him out of trouble and is the one who keeps him from doing something he'll regret.

Eva is fairly nice whenever she sees Hyacinthus, but they don't exactly talk much. He's much to shy for her tastes and not on a Quidditch team. She does seem him around though.

Eva has met Johnson Leeds before and hates him a ridiculous amount. She thinks that he is too perfect, too pretty. She has always had this bad feeling about him and tries to avoid him as much as possible. She had heard about how he got into Hogwarts and has managed to stay away from him.

Eva and Luke have met each other out on the Quidditch pitch before. He nearly killed her twice by hitting a Bludger her way multiple times. Luckily, she managed to avoid it. She avoids him as much as possible as well, but she can tolerate him more than Johnson because she can see right through his lies and deceit, where Johnson is a little harder to read.

Maddie and Eva met on the Quidditch pitch during Hufflepuff tryouts. The Captain then had called a few of the Gryffindors in to help out with tryouts and Eva was one of the ones they had called. Maddie and Eva got to talking and they became friends from them. They have always had a friendly rival on the field and always talk strategies off... strategies against Slytherin and Ravenclaw, obviously, not against each other.

Eva has a strong distrusting feeling toward any Slytherin, but Ophelia was different. Eva didn't distrust her directly on the spot, but she does feel like the nice, quiet girl thing is an act. She does talk to Ophelia whenever she is in the hallway though. She figures she should at least be nice to one of the Slytherins who is Teddy.

He may be a year younger than she is, but Eva has definitely heard of Teddy through transfer students, and has immediately liked him. Being a Quidditch commentator, he has caught Eva's attention and from what she has heard, he talks tough. She knows immediately that they will become friends, even through his trash talking about Gryffindor.

Thomas and Eva met on the field during both their third years, after Thomas made the team and Eva was in her second year of Quidditch. Thomas accidentally on purpose knocked Eva off her broom with a Bludger, and Eva was pissed. But when he apologized later, she calmed down, and they actually became pretty good friends afterwards. She did manage to dodge more of his Bludgers afterwards and they have been pretty good friends since.

Eva doesn't think Wyatt as much of a threat or a friend. She knows in a fist fight, she could definitely take him. Besides trash talk on the pitch, they don't talk much and run in completely separate circles from each other.

All of the Slytherins Eva either hates or avoids, but Zeke just gives her the creeps. She has seen him once or twice on the pitch, but she has never really talked to him except saying hello in passing by. She tries to avoid him as much as possible, mainly from how he looks, just because she thinks he does look like a nice guy.

Luke has neutral feelings toward Charles, even though he is a Death Eater like him. Charles is ruthless, which Luke likes, but attacking Mudbloods is not something Luke is into. He'll side with the Mudbloods against Charles on this, but anything else, they're on the same side.

Elize and Luke have never met. Luke hasn't even heard of Elize. He may have seen her around, but would never recognize her, even in a lineup.

Eva and Luke hate each other, on and off the pitch. He always tries to knock her off her broom during games. She is the only person who can actually see through his lies whenever he is actually lying and calls him out on it. He always gets in her way whenever he needs to do something.

Slick and Luke have never actually talked, but since Eva hangs out with him, Luke hates him already. Just to get back at Eva sometimes, he'll aim a few Bludgers his way every once in awhile. Besides that, they don't really talk. They have nearly gotten into fights before after Quidditch games though.

Luke does not like weakness and from what he sees from "Jazz", he sees a ton of it. He thinks that Hyacinthus is a wuss and weak. He doesn't even bother talking with him or even trying to make him mad or lie to him. He just ignores him as much as he can. He can't stand guys like him.

Luke and Johnson have talked before and are very tense friends. They are more forced friends than anything because they're both Death Eaters. They can, however, tolerate each other more than they can other people, so they might as well stick together, right?

Maddie and Luke don't hang out outside of the pitch and really only give passing nods to each other in hallways and the common room. They run in different circles as well, where Luke is more of a loner and Maddie has friends she can hang out with. The only thing the two really talk about is Quidditch and strategy, but that's about it. She's one of the rare people that he doesn't lie to.

Luke has never really met Ophelia, since she is in Slytherin and he hardly hangs out with Slytherin. But from what he has heard, he knows he wouldn't like her. He thinks she seems too nice.

Luke and Teddy met back at King Cove when both of them went there. Luke made Quidditch at Cove during his second year and Teddy was commentator from the get-go, so they knew each other from that. Luke hated Teddy, especially his trash talk to all the teams, and he may have accidentally sent a few Bludgers toward the commentator booth to shut him up every once in awhile.

Thomas and Luke have a very tense relationship. They are the two Beaters on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. And because Thomas is a goody-two shoes, Luke doesn't like him. They are forced to work together a lot though, since they are the Beaters. He has hit a few Bludgers in Thomas's direction before, trying to get him injured on purpose, but has stopped when Maddie has told him to.

Luke doesn't see Wyatt as a threat. At all. On the pitch or getting in his way of doing what he's doing. Luke honestly does not talk to him, on the pitch or out. He doesn't care much for Ravenclaw in general, but he deals with them as much as he would any other house.

Luke doesn't talk to Zeke much, but from what he has seen, he thinks that they could be interesting friends. Though he doesn't talk to him, like, at all. Luke does his best not to piss off Zeke and tries to stay on his good side just in case he needs him for later.

They were friends long after they had been teammates. He'd come into the common room one night and saw her at the table with a deck of cards. No slouch himself, Slick offered to play her. After beating her the first time, he knew he'd found a fellow player. Slick finds her quite attractive, but doesn't want to affect the team dynamics by getting into anything, Eva would kill him.

Gregory isn't one to hide his true feelings and his disgust and hatred against Charles runs deeply. Ever since one unfortunate game with crappy weather and ill-thrown Quaffle, the two have hated each other. At the end of the match, Charles had approached Gregory, shouting insults and jibes he'd never even heard of. But at the mention of Mudblood, Slick lost it, going into a full row with the kid. Charles punched him them and it took the whole of Gryffindor team to pull the hot-headed Chaser off of the slytherin Keeper. To this day he's never told Eva what else Charles said and plans to keep it that way.

While Gregory may not know Elize personally, her appearance has always caught his eye. Early in his time at Hogwarts, he made the mistake of making a crass come on to Elize. A couple of the boys from Gryffindor had been egging him on and Slick had finally given in. He felt he might've gotten somewhere if hadn't acted like an ass the first time he spoke to her. She's ignored him ever since, and not just her usual cold shoulder routine.

Eva and Slick have known each other for their full tenure at Hogwarts, getting into Gryffindor the same year. They took to each other well enough and when they were in their second year both made the team as Chasers. This cemented their friendship into an everlasting bond. Sometimes his best friend acts like a goof, but he couldn't ask for anyone better to have had with him through the years. She keeps him level-headed, often keeping him from getting into trouble when people are generally pushing his buttons. But if anyone tries to mess with her, they answer to Slick, first and foremost. People have razzed him about their relationship before, but he always assures them nothing has ever happened.

Gregory instantly took a platonic liking to the fit Ravenclaw, finding her quick wit only bested by her trait of finding him hilarious. People that laugh at all his jokes hold a special place in Greg's heart, yet he knows he isn't Laurel's type. Sure, he's conditioned and toned, but she prefers the bulkier types, something she let him know early on in their long-running friendship, in no uncertain terms. He appreciated her honesty and warm company.

While Gregory may be rash, he in no way lacks in intelligence. He's never truly crossed paths with the guy, but has seen him around outside of class. Never with many people, Gregory thinks the guy is hiding a rather painful past that he runs away from. Slick knows of that all too well and hopes the guy can find some peace of mind one of these days. While he finds his usual behavior distasteful, Gregory finds himself feeling a bit of empathy for the slippery Slytherin.

If there was a dude that you shouldn't believe, it was this guy. How Johnson didn't end up in Slytherin is beyond Slick's comprehension, who has witnessed his conniving ways with his own two eyes. He's the typical sheister, one of those guys that'll sell you a leaky boat and smile as it sinks under you.

They may have been some of the only Americans in Hogwarts other than Tadeo, but that never gave Slick any feeling of kinship with the guy. He'd been told by multiple kids the problems Lucas caused with his lies, causing chaos between students to achieve his goals. For a Hufflepuff, Lucas gives off a sinister vibe to Slick. There'd been more than a few times Slick and Luke would've fought, but Eva or other teammates usually defused the situation. During matches, he keeps a special eye out for him and his bludgers. They always come at the worst time and are usually aimed somewhere nasty, which he knows is no accident. If Luke catches him on an off moment, Slick swears the kid will need a new set of chompers.

Gregory doesn't know Madison all that well, but they have been known to share a word or two. Initially, Slick tried flirting with Madison when they'd first talked in a Charms class. After awhile, he noticed that she talked to most people in a similar way and that she just must not have been aware. He respects her, because she's never disrespected him.

They haven't ever really talked and Gregory has only seen her in classes. They're mostly strangers to each other. He admires her ambition and drive to learn, always hearing her voice at least once per class they shared.

Gregory has never had a problem with Tadeo, unlikely as it were he being a Slytherin. This stuck with Gregory and so he didn't inherit the automatic Gryffindor/Slytherin rivalry with the guy. Even with the one good apple, Tadeo, most students that did push his buttons were Slytherins. So maybe there is something to that grudge.

The day he made his team, Slick thought the kid had deliberately tried to attack Eva. That put them on the wrong foot immediately, but Eva told him that the guy had apologized and had a personality. Trusting her word, Slick welcomed him with open arms and has never regretted it. He found that Tommy understood him on the level only other Muggleborns can. Now if the guy could just learn to play a decent hand of poker...

Wyatt and Gregory never really saw eye to eye, but that's not out of a sense of dislike. With Wyatt's naturally bossy demeanor, Slick never really took to the guy. Even so, Greg admits that the kid is a good Seeker and above average flier. Slick won't go out of his way to be chummy, but he does nod or say hello to the guy from time to time.

They're paths have never really crossed much. Thomas may have sent the occasional bludger her way, but never with any real intent. They are both in the transfiguration club together, but have never exchanged more than a few words.

All the goodwill in the world on Tom's behalf wouldn't be able to get him past the sheer wall of the other boy's pure blood bigotry, and given what he's seen he's not at all inclined to make the effort. They occasionally run into each other in Charm's club and on the pitch, where Thomas doesn't have his usual reservations about hitting magic rocks at people.

There's not much to say - the quiet reserved girl hasn't really entered onto Thomas's radar in any major fashion. He's peripherally aware that she's head of the Herbology Club, but aside from his usual curiousity he's never really looked into that area of magic.

Knocking Eve off her broom had been the first time Tom had injured someone playing Quidditch. He'd been pretty torn up about it and had gone to apologise after she'd been released from the infirmary. She'd forgiven him and they became fast friends, though she ripped into him one time when she caught him hitting a bludger 6 inches to her left.

At first Tom was pretty such Slick wanted to hex him for knocking Eva off her broom but they warmed up to each other after Eva forgave him. They still play pretty hard on the Quidditch pitch, but it's all good fun. Tom enjoys having someone to talk to about muggle stuff such as movies and pop culture.

Thomas is very fond of Jazz; he's aware of how the younger boy idolizes him and tries his best to live up to the expectations. He occasionally goes to the him for help with areas outside his own knowledge sphere, and happily returns the favour.

Thomas think he's a but slimy, but wouldn't have anything specific to pin against him besides that except for his close relationship with Lucas. The two have a tense relationship on the Quidditch pitch, with the approximate working relationship of two cats in a sack thrown over the cliff, but it works... somehow. Off the pitch they're fairly antagonistic towards each other. Thomas isn't entirely sure how Lucas made the house or the team.

Tom and Mel have been fast friends for years, bonding over Quidditch and spellwork. Thomas never expected to make Captain and was overjoyed for his friend when she announced the news. Elize isn't particularly one who is attracted to brightness, she certainly doesn't dislike AJ but they aren't friends either. Ophelia met Zeke during her first year at Hogwarts because she was sorted into the same house that he was in. They met in the Slytherin common room at night when no one else was around. As if by chance, they were both up at an odd hour in order to play a prank of one of the nastier boys in their house. Ever since then, Zeke and Ophelia have been close friends and can often be seen together, walking through the halls or sitting down while they quietly talk, or read, in comfortable silence.

Alva was not the sort of friend Hyacinthus expected to find in Hogwarts. At first, he thought she was weird, and a bit mean, but that was only before he joined the Potions Club. Once there, he discovered that she was, in fact, a very nice and fun person, and she gave him the sort of support he needed during the worst of times while in Hogwarts, two parts sweetness and one part snark.

Generally speaking, it has never been in Hyacinthus' nature to hate the people he meets, even if those people are Slytherins. However, this particular Slytherin crossed several lines the first time they spoke to one another, during Hyacinthus' first year at Hogwarts. For starters, he repeatedly misgendered Hyacinthus, called him a 'mudblood', and then encouraged his fellow Slytherins to join in his harassment. The bullying continued and even intensified over the years with complete impunity, and though he remained as outwardly sturdy and serene as always, the emotional abuse nevertheless took its toll. To Hyacinthus, Charles is a monster, evil to the core and utterly undeserving of his kindness, and one of the reasons why he keeps practising his offensive and defensive spells.

"Our president? She made me feel at home from the very first day."
Although he would not call her a friend, Hyacinthus does hold Elize in high regard for her precociously deep understanding of herbology, and her kind treatment of the Herbology Club's members. She received Hyacinthus with open arms in his first year, and he was happy to follow her example during the time spent studying magical plants. Thanks in no small part to her, Hyacinthus always feels welcome and safe while attending the club's meetings.

Just because he is a Hufflepuff doesn't mean Hyacinthus cannot appreciate the talents of students from other houses. And Evangeline, he thinks, is very talented, at least in Quidditch. All these years, he has exchanged only a handful of words with her, and so far he has found no reason to feel anything for her other than mild admiration.

Much like with the Gryffindor Quidditch Team's captain, Hyacinthus has never really had a relatively long conversation with Gregory. When he has spoken to him, however, he has found him to be a very decent person, who now and then cracks a good joke. On the other hand, he has seen and heard enough to know that he is a bit brash and unruly, which makes Hyacinthus a bit uncomfortable.

His fellow Hufflepuffs were very clear on the fact that Hyacinthus was not the first one, nor the only one, to think that the platinum-haired Ravenclaw was handsome and rather charming. That, however, did not stop Hyacinthus from becoming increasingly infatuated with him as the years went by, and their occasional interactions with one another only exacerbated his crush. Hyacinthus' sweets have always found an eager recipient in Johnson, and of all laughs he has ever heard, he has sometimes found himself thinking that Johnson's the most beautiful. These feelings, as far as Hyacinthus knows, have remained secret so far.

Hyacinthus did not like Lucas the first time they met, after he got sorted into Hufflepuff, but he did not immediately give up on the hope of befriending him. It took him most of the schoolyear to realise that he could not make up for all the emnity Lucas had amassed in his previous years, and once he finally understood that the older boy was cold-hearted and dishonest, he gave up entirely. Ever since then, the two have not exchanged more than cursory pleasantries and some small gifts, a shadow of disillusionment hanging over all their interactions.

"I couldn't imagine our house without her."
The welcome Hyacinthus received from the older girl when he was sorted into Hufflepuff was not the warmest. That began to change as the schoolyears went by, and Madison proved herself to be quite brilliant beneath her quiet exterior. Hyacinthus came to see her as a leader of sorts, who provided him with valuable insight whenever he needed it, and he thus respected her more than the other older Hufflepuffs. This has remained their dynamic to this day, and Hyacinthus considers her a friend.

Ophelia was the first person to challenge Hyacinthus' prejudice against Slytherin, with her honesty and all-around good character. Although she did not make him abandon all animosity against her house, she did succeed in making him more open towards people other than Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws. Ever since then, Hyacinthus has always brought Alva and her some pastries for their Potions Club meetings, and their chats in between reading and brewing are generally pleasant.

Hyacinthus has only seen this transfer student from afar, and he does not know him by name. The fact that he is a Slytherin, however, has given him some reservations about actually meeting with him. Still, if the two cross paths, Hyacinthus will treat him with the due politeness... provided that he does not follow in the footsteps of one of his fellow Slytherins and starts to call him a 'mudblood'.

When they first met, Hyacinthus thought that Thomas was the ideal Hufflepuff. Five years later, he still has not changed his mind. For as long as he has known him, Thomas has treated all his fellow Hufflepuffs with kindness, and has always been there to help younger students in need. Which is why Hyacinthus kind of put him in a pedestal, and came to care a lot for him. He thinks of Thomas as a true friend, not just to him, but to the entire house, as well as an example to follow.

Wyatt and Hyacinthus are not complete strangers. It is just that they have never really been on any more than formal terms, and Hyacinthus does not really feel a need to befriend him, even if he seems interesting. While he enjoys speaking to people who shares his fondness for learning, Hyacinthus does not feel entirely comfortable with Wyatt's often bossy and competitive demeanour.

The older Slytherin stood out like a sore thumb the night that Hyacinthus got sorted into Hufflepuff. His attention was specially drawn to his flaming red hair, which fascinated him, and his scowling face, which made his fascination wane considerably. It occurred to him later on what a pity it was, given that Zeke, as he turned out to be called, did not look to him like a bad person per se. From then on, the two have never really shared a single word, but Hyacinthus nevertheless has kept his eye on him, a part of him hoping that he will find a way to make him smile at least once.

Alva is almost the only person that understands Wyatt's passion for learning and doesn't mock him for it. She seems to be the only one to defend him when others get fed up with his know-it-all nature. They are both headstrong and get things done with no bullshit. However she is a bit looney which compliments Wyatt's stability. He sees her as a good friend.

Charles is the main, if not only one that gives Wyatt shit. Charles goes out of his way to be cruel and to humiliate Wyatt any chance he gets. Most if not all the hates stems from the fact Wyatt is Muggleborn and comes from a poor family. They have gotten into many fights in the hallways that have gotten both of them in trouble, but it seems Charles always got away scott-free. Wyatt knows Charles hates him even more for the fact he won't keep silent about anything and that he's not scared of him. Wyatt knows being the smartest person in the 6th year class and top ranked in the school really threatens him and hates the fact a Muggleborn is successful.

Wyatt has seen her around numerous times since they belong to the same house. She's a rather quiet person and keeps to herself most of the time. He can respect that. Wyatt waves at her from time to time but they don't really talk aside from herbology projects. He is fascinated with French culture and would like to know more about it.

The two have always seem rather tense around each other if they were ever in the same room. However they don't even talk besides Quidditch banter. Wyatt has always found her intimidating. Confidence is one thing, but cocky is another. Wyatt's goal is to catch the snitch right in her face to see her priceless reaction. Like Wyatt, she hates to fail.

Fellow Quidditch player and a good one. They don't really run in the same circles so they hardly speak. However he's an okay person when they don't argue about Wyatt always having to be so bossy and opinionated about things. Other than that they have a mutual respect. The only reason he hasn't pursued a friendship with him is because that basilisk Eva is attached to him at the hip.

Not the type of guy Wyatt goes for but he's pretty alright. He just wishes Hyacinthus wouldn't be so naive and take bullshit from other people. Wyatt learned that being too smart can get you bullied so he had to learn real fast. He's a nice person but sees he can be taken advantage of really easily. However they are just formal with each other and wouldn't call each other best friends. Wyatt feels he probably turns him off with his bossy attitude.

Wyatt and Johnson see each other quite a lot. He's a fellow Ravenclaw and they both work in journalism together so they're always collaborating on projects. He's rather confident in a good way. Wyatt does find him attractive but doesn't fall into the manipulative charm that others seem to fall prey to. Plus he has no time for relationships as his studies come first. Wyatt is quite observative and skeptic and doesn't always think Johnson is 100 percent genuine with him. Only time will tell. As for now, he'll play nice.

Wyatt finds that it's best to ignore pompous assholes who think their good looks will get them anywhere. Wyatt always thought Hufflepuffs were nice until he met him. He doesn't need to have a real conversation to know what kind of person he is. He also thinks he's slick with his bludgers, but Wyatt has always been quick flier to dodge them. As long as he stays in his lane, Wyatt won't have to leave him with a bad case of body warts.

She's rather quiet so Wyatt hardly notices when she's around. However with the few intellectual conversations they've had in class, he can deduce she's a smart and opinionated girl so she's earned his respect.

Wyatt thinks he's actually a nice person and doesn't understand how he was placed in Slytherin. It comes to show he shouldn't judge an entire house from a few bad apples. They talked a couple of times about Quidditch and have had class together. They tend to butt heads when it comes down to debates or class projects as Wyatt always has to be right and in charge while Tadeo is the same way. People underestimate his intelligence and Wyatt respects him for having a brain.

Are you sure he wasn't supposed to be in Ravenclaw? It's odd how much Wyatt and Thomas have in common which is why they tend to have heated conversations on spellcasting techniques and history interpretations. With very strong opinionated and smart personalities, they tend to either clash or get along really well. There is no in between, but oddly genuinely enjoys that. Wyatt admires how intelligent and hardworking he is and wishes they were good friends. However they hang in different circles so it's hard to get to know him. What a shame. They still have Quidditch.

Wyatt has never really talked to him and will probably stay that way. Zeke doesn't seem like the type of person to discuss chapters with or even have tea with. It's not that he doesn't want to, its that he comes across as stand-offish. He seems rather creepy and will stay out of his way unless he's approached.

While Charles respects her for her blood status, she has earned a small amount of discontent with the cold young man. Her having fun at his expense is something the proud Charles does not take too fondly. The only reason he hasn't orchestrated a small accident for the girl is her exceptional breeding and endearing personality.

Charles has never spoken to Elize, but has known of her for years. Being of high standing, his family has tried to broach the possibility of marriage of her grandmother, which was politely declined. Charles thought it just as well, finding her detest of him amusing. She seems to think she has him all figured out.

They've played a few games together, but beyond that have had little to no interaction. He's noticed her look at him suspiciously, but knows he keeps the worst of his true nature from the public eye. He's noticed the way she looks at her friend, Slick, and knows where her true nature lies.

Charles realized that Gregory was a Mudblood soon after he made the Slytherin team and despised him. After one fierce game and a heated argument, a fight broke out between the two, with Charles throwing the first blow. Charles smoothed it over with the staff, but since has been told in no uncertain terms to avoid the Chaser in everything, but Quidditch. To this day, Gregory nor Charles speak of what was said between the two, but none can mistake the naked hatred between them.

There was a target Charles truly enjoyed making suffer. From their first encounter, Charles could tell his abuse got under the boy's skin. He'd even called over some of his friends to join in on the fun! He's heard that the Mudblood has even been practicing duel magic intensively, which almost makes Charles laugh. If the Mudblood could hope to overcome his extensive knowledge of the art of magic duels, it'd take years.

Having been in the circle of Death Eaters for his whole life, Charles was aware when he joined their private cult. While suspicious of his true loyalty, he admires the man for sticking with the right crowd and code. After hearing of Johnson's mission, he has made it his own to help him in any way possible.

Charles is aware that Lucas does not hold true to the original beliefs of the Death Eaters. He sniffs at the Hufflepuff's naive ideology that even Mudbloods are of acceptable stock. Charles appreciates Lucas's cold and calculating nature, as well as his natural flair for deception.

Another of the seventh year Purebloods, Charles admires her arrogance. She is extremely intelligent and forthwith, something he values highly. Her confidence and flirtatiousness is merely icing on the cake. He's said more than a few words to her, hoping to get in her good graces and maybe start something a little more before she graduates.

Even so, he has the passing relationship, being in Charms Club together.

How a Mudblood might have such an overweening personality, Charles cannot say. He sees Wyatt as nothing special and dismisses the Ravenclaw. He's been known to crack the snide comment or two about his fellow sixth year, wondering how such scum could possibly think to have a future as a true Wizard.

If Charles could feel pity, he was sure Ezekiel would be a subject of that emotion. The boy's extended family had been staunch supporters of the Dark Lord and that gave Charles a respect for the Pureblood, cut down low by the traitorous ways of his parents. He'd frequently heard of Zeke, as he preferred to be known, from his parents. They talked of one of the first Metamorphmagus born in ages, since the birth of the late Nymphadora Tonks, in fact. They heard that he was attending Hogwarts, as would Charles. Charles hopes to get closer to Ezekiel and find out what is in the young man's head.

Zeke – against all odds – actually likes the girl. He expected her to throw in the befriending-towel after a couple of huffy rebuffs from him but she doesn’t seem to know what it means to quit. And that – before anything else – was what Zeke came to like about her. When at last he stopped trying to keep her away, he made disparaging and pointed comments about how sometimes it’s easier to just give up, but he won’t ever admit for the life of him that Alva’s persistence made him feel…alright. She’s got a feisty spirit for such a small girl – it’s wonderfully easy to ruffle her hair and feathers – even if she keeps trying to change his fashion choices.

“Hogwarts gave me a family, and it’s an unspoken agreement not to begrudge your own.”
Charles is a year younger than Zeke, but the boy has a certain stand-offish way about him. And it’s known that his kind of news can only be bad. He’s made his sentiments about Muggle-borns known, and Zeke thinks with some degree of bitterness that people like the Kemp are the reason why purebloods have become targets of another kind of prejudice. Zeke’s also come across Charles bullying other students before several times, and stepped in. Beyond that, not many words have been exchanged between the two. He definitely disapproves of Charles’ habits, but the boy’s a Slytherin, and Zeke hasn’t got much of an appetite for keeping bad blood within a house.

"Oh, the barefoot Herbology President."
Zeke is hardly outward, and Elize seems to favour the company of beasts to that of humans, so he doesn’t know her from Adam. He’s seen her Patronus – a wispy conjured panther made of blue smoke – in Defence classes, and that wand of hers looks a peculiar thing. Zeke’s been tempted to palm it in class when the doldrums strike, just to see how long he could get away with it, but he’s resisted the impulse so far. The quietest embers always flare the worst, and Zeke isn't about to take a gainless chance.

Their paths haven’t crossed much, though from what little Zeke can glean the Gryffindor doesn’t seem to like Slytherins, or him, all that much. Zeke thinks maybe the red hair offends her. He would be insulted by such premature judgment, if the premise didn’t make him smirk so much.

"Seems decent enough. Never came across him before, or an urge to punch him, so that’s a wonderful start. No, listen, believe me."
Zeke doesn’t know much about Jones, beyond the fact that he and Alva are good friends. The fellow is a Muggle-Born, and Zeke especially likes the strange hat-thing he frequently infuriates the professors with in class. For a Gryffindor, he looks like he’s got a good handle on his bravado.

"He’s got a name like a flower, and he wears ‘em like a crown.
Two years his junior, and of house Hufflepuff, Hyacinthus isn’t very well-known to Zeke. His silver-blonde hair is made all the more noticeable in passing when topped with a ring of flowers. Hyacinthus’ name has been making rounds in the school, and there have been rumours of mischief to do with him. Zeke only finds it amusing, as he does the septum ring the boy has in his nostrils. He seems like a straight-edged kid, and trouble just doesn’t ring a bell with Hyacinthus in Zeke’s head. The closest to interaction he’s had with the boy was in sixth-year, when he came across Charles Kemp bothering Hyacinthus. There had been cronies arranged to stand guard in the corridor, but Zeke had flared his hair into a more alarming shade of fire and grinned a faux smile with sharp canines to get them to step aside while he went forward to intervene. Since then, Zeke hasn’t had much to do with Hyacinthus. The whispers say Hyacinthus has been training up his spells, and Zeke’s been keeping a ear out for that.

Zeke doesn’t know Johnson well, despite being in the same year. From what he’s gathered from his peripheral vision, Johnson seems to be have a high regard for himself, and he’s managed to get his way with nothing more than a grin before. Zeke’s never had that smile flashed at him, and he would prefer very much not to have that manipulative glint turned on him.

Zeke hasn’t talked much to Lucas, since his transfer in third year. They’re classmates, but Zeke doesn’t think he’s said more than five words to the kid. He gets the feeling Lucas treads on glass around him, but he hasn’t thought to evaluate the inkling yet. While generally unemotional about Lucas, Zeke harbours mistrust for the boy, especially because the Hufflepuff tiptoes so much it’s become his regular walk.

They’ve hardly talked, but she’s prominent in class. People have said she’s too frank, but an amused Zeke thinks that’s a charm to have. He’s heard boys in passing call her a tease, but Zeke doesn’t think the girl even know what she’s doing sometimes.

Ophelia’s always been slight of figure, but when they crossed paths in the Slytherin common room in the dead of night to sabotage the same less-savoury house-mate, Zeke thought she was definitely too small to be picking fights with snakes like that. He’s gotten to know Ophelia since then, and has come to the conclusion that the girl is, in fact, a nice Slytherin, rare as they come. Oh, she’s got that bite all of them do, but she very admirably keeps it balanced. She’s got this thing for integrity too, while Zeke’s forgotten how to play fair and honesty. Zeke might get his ear twisted a little for that, but Ophelia hasn’t tried to make him change, or overstep boundaries, and he can appreciate that. She’s nice to be around for down-time, when the common room is cold and murmuring with low conversation or when it’s roaring with life and unruliness, the two of them tucked away in chairs with a book to read and a hot beverage.

A transfer from King Cove, Diaz is a year younger than Zeke, so they haven’t crossed paths much beyond the obligatory passing in corridors in common-rooms. They might have said a few words, but no ties so far have been established. Tadeo seems like a rambler sometimes, but he certainly surpassed Zeke’s expectations when he arrived.

Zeke hasn’t met Thomas properly before. They belong in the same year, but their paths have so far been diverging. He seems a lad keen on Quidditch and learning, still glowing with bushy-tailed wonder about the magic world. Zeke can’t say anything bad about Thomas, but he’s managed to make the graphics on his shirts move, and Zeke is quietly bemusedly impressed by that.

Zeke doesn’t know Wyatt well, though the boy is certainly recognisable behind gawky glasses. He’s full of Mayflower Sensibilities – or at least it seems that way – and perhaps the lip ring doesn’t do it for the boy. Zeke doesn’t think he’s in any of Wyatt’s good books.

Alva and Laurel are quite friendly, both playing quidditch. Laurel is quite envious of Alva’s natural style and how fashionable the other girl is. She thinks she’s quite funny.

Laurel isn’t really all that familiar with the other girl. She only knows that Elize is from Sarina Dorie and that she’s quite obviously French. She’s fairly sure that she’s also very wealthy and Laurel really likes her cat, if you could call it that.

Eva is someone Laurel really admires for her devotion to the team and her ability to strategize on the go. She also thinks it would help the girl to work out a bit more than she does. Maybe it would keep her from getting hurt so frequently.

Laurel quite frankly thinks Slick is the most hilarious thing since, well she’s not quite sure what but he’s damn funny. He might could use a little work in the muscle department but definitely cute.

Laurel is pretty sure Johnson is one of the finest creatures she may have ever laid eyes one. Except that one guy she saw in a picture on Instagram one day that her friend posted. He’s definitely always up to something and that is probably the biggest turn off for Laurel. Just one kiss couldn't hurt right?

Lucas is rather cute to Laurel but not nearly athletic enough to truly get her attention like Johnson has. She would rather he not be as rude as she’s seen him been but it could be a lot worse. Not friends but not foes either, that she knows of at least.

Laurel is not really what one would call friends with Madison but they aren’t unfriendly, at least off the pitch anyhow. She’s fairly sure that Ms. Li could definitely use some time in the gym but then again she thinks that about nearly everyone.

Laurel wouldn’t really call Ophelia a friend but they talk in potions club and class occasionally, especially when there are harder potions to work on. She thinks Ophelia is very good at potions.

Laurel isn’t super familiar with Tadeo as he’s rather new but is very interested in getting to know him. She does however think that he would make an excellent gym buddy. Or a fabulous date for that matter.

Laurel loves Wyatt with all her heart, just not that way. She’s quite sure that he’s the best Seeker since Harry Potter. She is slightly biased on that though as he is her teammate.

Laurel is familiar with Charles only because he plays quidditch and though she doesn’t outright not like the young man she isn’t in any hurry to be friends with the lad either. He’s far too thin and pale looking. He reminds her of an albino imp honestly.

Laurel doesn't really know Zeke, he seems to keep to himself. She does, however, like his brightly colored hair. He appears to be rather nice though once you get past the "Bah, I hate you all" exterior.

As with most people involved with quidditch Laurel considers Thomas a friend so long as they're off the pitch. He seems quite smart and likable to her. If only he was in as good as shape as Johnson.
