Recent History: House Salthowl are bannermen of the Manderlys, and their humble seat of Deepport sits not far from Whiteharbour itself.

They are a simple, unassuming House, comprised of some of the less stalwart northerners. During the Dance of Dragons they sided with the Blacks, supporting both the Manderlys and their Stark overlords; supplying a decent bastion of soldiers to the cause. Whilst the civil war was costly, the Salthowls have already begun rebuilding, and their hearty fishing imports have helped to soften the blows dealt to them during the dance.

Name: Harldur Salthowl

Age: 31

Appearance: Harldur has a firm, hard face, with closely-cropped ginger hair, and shrivelled dull green eyes. He is well-built, but has an element of softness to his muscular body, and a slightly prominent stomach.

Biography: The Lord of Deepport, Harldur is crucial to the managing of House Salthowl, and resides over as its undisputed master.

Harldur grew up behind the bleak stone walls of Deepport, and his earliest years were sheltered and dull. He was educated as was befitting of a young lordling, but was raised within the shadow of his strapping older brother.

Despite their differences, Harldur and his sibling were inseparable, spending all their free time together.

As they reached young adulthood, the two would sneak out into the Streets of Deepport, spending their nights gallivanting about in disguise, drinking and whoring with the unsuspecting common folk.

But alas, it could not last.

As times changed so too did the brothers, and Harldur became a pious man, studying the faith of the seven with zealous passion. Never expecting to be Lord of House Salthowl, Harldur's life revolved around his dedication to the gods...until the day a voyage gone wrong claimed his brother and his sister-in-laws lives. Devasted, Harldur soon had the responsibility of not only governing Deepport, but also caring for his dead brother's children.

And then came civil war.

He accompanied the Black Host into battle during the Dance with Dragons, and became one of the few nobles able to boast real front line experience.

In the aftermath of the war, Harldur has worked closely with the people of Deepport in rebuilding in the wake of the costly civil war, and has become regarded with a mixture of sneering contempt and begrudging respect by his subjects.

His relationship with his nieces is tough and strained, by he tries with all his might to do what he believes is best for them, and House Salthowl as a whole.



Name: Wylla Salthowl

Age: 16

Appearance: Naturally, Wylla has a fairly masculine and stocky build, with her more curvaceous attributes coming from the extra fat on her chunky frame. She has pudgy cheeks, a bulging stomach, and flabby upper-arms. Large breasted and broad shouldered, Wylla has coppery ginger curls flecked with streaks of fiery auburn, and glistening green closely-set eyes.

Biography: One of the two Salthowl daughters, Wylla has always been introverted and bookish, with a subtle hint of outgoing flirtatiousness. She is of an academic nature, and her harp-playing skills are renowned.

She has lived a life of relative comfort within Deepport, surrounded by the books she has grown to love over the years.

Name: Hayllisa Salthowl

Age: 18

Appearance: Whilst Wylla is chubby and overweight, Hayllisa is huge and obese. The young woman has an immense boulder of a stomach, huge flabby legs, puffy cheeks, and a double chin. She has the same gleaming green eyes as her sister, but her tangled knots of hair are a far more scorching shade of red.

Biography: Cunning and conniving, Hayllisa has grown up weary of the ever-changing political landscape, and enjoys playing people off of each other. Dominative and sadistic, the worst traits of her parents manifest themselves darkly in the eldest of the Salthowl daughters, and her reputation is one which is despoiled with shady rumours and hearsay.

Name: Lady Jeyne Arryn

Appearance:

The current ruler of the Vale continues to present a visage apt for the 'Maiden of the Vale.' Born the granddaughter of both Arryn and Targaryen, Jeyne bears an amalgamation of their features. She is not as pale of skin as a Valyrian, but her blonde hair is far closer to the shining silver gold of the Targaryens then any pure Andal stock would bear. She is fair of features, with high, but not sharp, cheekbones and full lips. Her eyes are a bright blue, not the purple of her grandmother but bearing a certain mystical appearance akin to the High Valyrian. Her form is curvaceous rather than slender, especially after three decades and as many children. While she has not grown stout, to maintain the same silhouette she has in years past, she now wears much more structured gowns.
Biography:
Lady Jeyne was but a single year old when the mantle of the Vale was thrust upon her, Lord Victor Arryn dying at the hands of the mountain clans during the reign of Jaehaerys I. Still a child well out of her political wits upon his death, her regent, Lord Yobert Royce, took part in the Great Council in her stead. While the Vale was ruled for the following years through the long regency, the nobility and people of the Vale grew increasingly attached to the young girl at the head of its greatest family. The label of Maiden of the Vale that sprung up due to the young age of Jeyne took a new meaning as she aged, a sweet girl who proved herself more than charming to those noble households she was introduced to. From the age of twelve Lady Arryn took an increasing role in the governance of the Vale, even if Lord Royce remained Regent until Jeyne turned sixteen. Little time was wasted in aquiring a match for the most coveted hand in the Vale, a decision Jeyne was determined would benefit the stability of her realm.

In the end, the aged Orson Waynewood, uncle of the infant Lord Waynewood and Regent of Ironoaks was granted the honour. While the match secured the loyalty of a key bannerhouse of the Arryns, Orson may perhaps have been the only elegible man in the Vale to not be excited at the prospect of the Lady Jeyne. Her status as the apple of the Vale's eye was only further exentuated after it became clear she was pregant shortly after her marriage, to the previously childless (through two marriages) Waynwood. Unfortunately, both Jeyne and the Vale would grieve at the birth of a stillborn girl. Her husband would become increasingly distant. The number of occassions in which they shared eachothers' company became increasingly few, although regardless, the Lady Jeyne became pregant two further times in as many years, giving birth to two boys, Arthur and Jonnel. It was a mere year following the birth of Jonnel that Orson Waynewood would join the Seven, ambushed by the mountain clansmen after one of his few visits to his Lady wife. Few in the realm grieved.

This time of peace, full of small frustrations as it were, would come crashing down with the death of King Viserys. The Dance of the Dragons would have a particularly heavy toll on House Arryn, usually known for remaining aloof from the greater poltics of the realm, could not ignore the call of blood. When her cousin, the rightful Queen, called upon her to act, Jeyne called the banners of her realm and despite the snows of the Mountains blocking the passes out of the Vale, began the arduous process of deploying the levy to the conflict. While Jeyne remained far from the fighting, she took an avid role in using the resources of the Vale as best she could to support the war effort. For that reason, when it looked as if the Riverlands would become the sigh of the final pivotal battle of the war, Jeyne and her household temporarily relocated out of the vale, to Maidenpool, secure as it was in the hands of the blacks. This would prove a tragic decision, for rather than unite and face the might of Prince Daemon and the Riverlands, Prince Aemond and Ser Criston Cole could not reconcile their seperate approaches to the war. Cole took the Green army South, while Aemond settled to burn the Riverlands on his own. When the fires swept through Maidenpool, they claimed the lives of Jeyne's two sons, she herself only escaping the flames as Aemond was forced to withdraw due to the arrival of Daemon and his misstress Nettles. Daemon himself pulled the Lady Arryn from the collapsing holdfast, reconciling their conflict that had begun over Runestone years before, if only shortly in time for his final battle with Aemond later at Harrenhall.

Having lost so much and thrown so great a support into the war, Jeyne was adamant in her position to assist the eventual victor, Aegon III, in his early rule. Nominally, to make sure such a war could never agin arise to threaten the realm. But in her heart, Jeyne wishes to make sure that those who took up the cause of her sons' murderers should not profit from this new king's rule. While perhaps having less than her previously honest and noble intentions, Lady Jeyne has approached the position with her usual easy charm and good graces. The people of King's Landing are quickly developing a similar kind of affection for the Maiden of the Vale as her own people, the Vale, usually not known for such actions, providing grain relief, untouched as its fertile land was by the fire of dragons.

Name: Artys Arryn
Age: 35
Appearance:

Artys is a warrior, that much is obvious. From his powerful build and generally simple sense of style, he has the air and bearing of someone who has spent far more time in camps and blooded fields then courts. Nevertheless, he is a handsome man, if a little unkempt for most of the nobility at court.

Biography:
Much as the Maid of the Vale has spent the entirety of her life in the seat of politics, Artys has spent his, as soon as her were able, fighting for family and honour. Lacking any of the Valyrian blood that runs through his cousin's specific branch of the family, Artys took even more easily to the famed calling of the Arryns, to be the chosen of the seven, the first of the Andals. It is perhaps this inclination that led to Artys being taken on by Ser Marric Corbray as squire, shortly before he and an assembly of knights took part in an expedition to Andalos to recover ancient relics of the faith. Bandit kings, the environment and worse proved a greater threat than anticipated and after the span of nearly three years, they finally returned, cut down to three in number. Artys was knighted upon his return to the Eyrie and the surviving knights thus founded the Order of the Knights of Andalos, an order intended to comprise the greatest knights of the Andals first kingdom, the heroes of the Vale.

Once back in the Vale, he turned his mind as much to the command of men as to the art of combat. Thus, when his cousin required a trusted commander to lead the levy of the Vale away from home, Artys was the man who led her banners. The fighting proved as hellish and unforgiving as any of his far flung adventures and it required the true grit of the hardened soldier to push on the men of the Vale in their efforts to fight for the rightful Queen. While Jeyne watched her sons burn, Artys commanded the flower of the Vale's youth to its grave and so equally sports a fierce sense of righteousness and vengeance following the Dance. Even among those who fought for the Blacks, Artys finds cause to rail against. The Starks for one, who fought so late and caused chaos and blood to run through the streets of King's Landing, to name but one example. Artys is present for his cousin, his heroic stature with winged helm and family tabard a hallmark of Valeman chivalry, in the ruin and degredation of the Crownlands.

Name: Oswin Arryn

Appearance:

Fairer than his darker brother , Oswin lacks some of his elder brother's stature, even if hardly appearing weak or small by other standards. His appearance is more refined and maintained, although still clearly hailing from the rougher lands of the Vale, than the opulent courts of the Reach and Westerlands.

Biography:
Unlike his brother and cousin who have spent most of their lives within the Vale, Oswin was squired elsewhere, taking under the wing of a noble Reach lord and learning the ways of knighthood within the birthplace of chivalry. He has not forgotten his roots, but it is clear in his bearing the he is clearly influenced by such things. An accomplished jouster, as much as he is skilled in arms the actual business of war would be much better left to his elder brother. After being knighted, he remained outside the Vale, travelling the tournament circuit before the outbreak of civil war. He fought in the armies of his family, returning home in time to avoid being cut off to do so. He established himself well in the fighting, as brave as any in the charges of the thunderous Vale knights. When the war ended and it was clear Jeyne wished to remain in the capital to oversee the new king, Oswin suggested himself to act as regent in the Vale, to reconnect with the homeland he fought for, and to carve himself a niche in the family not already filled by his elder brother.

Name: Unwin Peake
Age: 52, deceased
Description:
Lord Unwin supported the greens during the Targaryen civil war. He joined Lord Ormund Hightower's great host, which marched from Oldtown toward King's Landing. After the First Battle of Tumbleton, Unwin wanted to wait at the sacked town in hopes of reinforcements from the Stormlands. Unwin also advocated for declaring Prince Daeron Targaryen to be the new Prince of Dragonstone after hearing of the death of Prince Aemond Targaryen. It was not to be, for Daeron died during the Second Battle of Tumbleton. Lord Peake was a leader of the Caltrops, thirteen nobles who plotted to kill the disrespectful Two Betrayers (Ulf the White and Hugh Hammer). Lord Peake's tent was burned by Seasmoke during the Second Battle of Tumbleton, but he survived the battle. When Unwin enquired after Ulf’s intentions after the battle, Ulf replied that he would take the Iron Throne after the greens captured King's Landing. However, Ulf died drinking poisoned wine with Unwin's commander, Ser Hobert Hightower. Lord Peake then offered one thousand golden dragons to any knight of noble birth who could claim the surviving dragon, Silverwing, but none succeeded. Seeing that the greens' army was disappearing through desertion, Unwin, the new commander, decided to attempt taming Silverwing himself. The attempt cost him his life.

Lord Unwin Peake was a difficult and merciless person who inflicted all of his life’s dreams on his children, rearing them into an ambitious brood. The harsh upbringing caused his eldest, Raynalt to estrange from his family, sending him into voluntary exile for several years. Caspar coped in the form of losing himself in women, ballads and song, appropriating the skills to play the harp and compose. Guymon, the youngest, acted out by the way of violence, getting into fights from an early age on. Clearly struggling with anger management issues as a result of Unwin’s permanent pushing for accomplishment.

Name: Raynalt
Age: 29

Description:
Raynalt is a decent enough fighter, able to stand his own in personal combat but preferring not to. In battle he wields a horseman’s pick or hatchet. Though he does not lack courage, he sees his mind as his most powerful weapon. Unlike his kinsmen Guymon and Mervyn, he is no frontline fighter but has instead specialised in the practical aspects of warfare. On several accounts, Raynalt has displayed an aptitude for tactics and planning, relying on knowledge, surprise, timing and opportunism to gain victory.

He has a mind for organisation and politics, and always tries to gain the advantage and negotiate or strike from a position of strength. Cunning, Ray uses his strengths in a versatile way, carefully guards his weaknesses and exploits those of his enemies. The game is always being played, he believes, and it is just a matter of playing your cards right.

Growing up in the Reach meant growing up among a host of ruthlessly ambitious family members. As the firstborn to the late Lord Unwin Peake, Raynalt was groomed from an early age to inherit the family lands and become the head of the powerful Peake clan. With that responsibility came the duty to be ever vigilant of the enemies of House Peake, and they are many.

Up until the age of ten, Ray spent his time travelling between the Peake holdings, studying history and literature mostly. When he went away as a ward to Oldtown and later Highgarden, his studies turned to more practical fields, the eldest Peake taking an interest in engineering and logistics. It is said he devoured the Oldtown library within the year.

Though Raynalt spent sufficient time practicing his skills with weapons, he is not particularly a prodigy, unlike his younger brother Guymon or his half-uncle Mervyn Flowers of the Kingsguard. While he displayed reasonable aptitude for swinging a sword, Ray’s weapon of choice is a single-handed war hammer, better known as a horseman’s pick.

Ray squired first for Ser Luthor Peake, a position he later passed on to his youngest brother. Raynalt himself then served a Crownlands knight, but it became clear that this was not a beneficial position, for while he may have been a knight of some fame in his heyday, the Crownlander washed up in the capital, with Ray in tow and quickly had turned to the drink. The youth handed the knight more pitchers, sacks, bottles and other containers than lances. Raynalt condemned him for a useless half-wit, and wrote to his father that he would choose and negotiate his own commission. After being turned down by a Tyrell knight of renown, in a rather humiliating exchange, young Raynalt Peake began to see the world for what is really was, putting behind him the ideas and fancies he had obsessed about in his childhood years. All fantasies surrounding knighthood were shed as he instead focused on his ambitions.

After all, being the firstborn of the ambitious Lord Unwin Peake saw Raynalt bombarded with a sense of duty from an early age. Lord Peake visited all of his own ambitions on the young lad, and while Ray acted out during his youth he had grown into himself and adopted a mature disposition, recognising the importance of the House. After earning his knighthood, Ray travelled around the Reach and even visited the Free Cities in an attempt to escape his overbearing father. It was Caspar who found him in Pentos to bring him home again and try to reconcile his father and brother. The true turn-around only came with Guymon’s capture and the death of their uncle at the hand of Dornish bandits, even though Raynalt lost an eye in the skirmish that saw Guy freed.

Description:
A cheat, a rogue, a womanizer... these are all true words to describe Caspar, and all he takes pride in. Silver-tongued and musically proficient, Cas is a well-known sight at a noble’s court and an innkeeper’s tavern, though perhaps those who have seen his handsome mug the most are the whores and courtesans of the cities of the world. He has travelled extensively, first in the pursuit of his eldest sibling, and afterwards for his own amusement. While he certainly is not poor, Caspar seems to owe money to people of a variety of backgrounds, and for some unknown reason he never discloses he shall never return to Volantis.

Good with his tongue and good with his fingers, as many a maiden low or highborn shall attest to, Cas hates conflict and believes he is a diplomat at heart. Often he acted as a mediator between his father and brothers, ultimately being responsible for the reconciliation of the family. His genial ways quickly earn him the love and adoration of his audience, be they tavern patrons, guests at banquets or courtiers from Highgarden to King’s Landing. Intelligent without a doubt, Caspar is notoriously vain and known to put his wit in service to more... nefarious ambitions. Breaking the rules is fun, after all.

Description:
Ser Guymon is well-known for his size, brutality and prowess in battle. The Peakes have always been a rather burly breed, but Guymon is certainly one of the largest and brawniest members of the house. He is built like a bull and fierce as a mastiff, with a jut of jaw and arms thick with muscle. He advocates that sharp steel and strength is what rules the world.

Guy likes violence, good food, wine, women and killing things. Fortunately he has been blessed with a physique like the warhorse on his house’s sigil. Stubborn and known for his irascible temper, Guymon dominates and terrifies others. Behind his back, he is often accused of being a slave to his base desires, though insulting him to his face might cause loss of limb. He has reputedly put men and women in the ground with his bare hands.

Because of his hulking bulk, he is oft-times dismissed as witless and dumb. However, beneath his crude face resides a more than average intelligence, sharpened by ambition, hatred for criminals, and a penchant for cruelty. He despises weakness and helplessness.

Guy’s redeeming qualities would be the devotion to his family, and that once his loyalty has been earned, it is practically impossible to imagine him to stray. He has his own corrupted sense of honour. Favours are never forgotten, nor are slights.

Guymon grew up at Starpike, squiring for his uncle Luthor Peake. While his younger sister was introduced to the world of numbers and letters, Guy found his love for weapons and warfare. Together with his uncle he would travel around Westeros to compete at tournaments, first as squire later as a knight himself.

It was during his time as a squire that Luthor and he were beset by bandits. His uncle was killed during the ambuscade and Guy taken. Unwin refused to pay the ransom, and so it was thanks to his older brothers Raynalt and Gaspar that the boy lived. He was rescued, but at the loss of Raynalt’s left eye which was gouged with a torch - a debt he can never entirely repay.

The brute’s weapon of choice is a heavy mace, though he is an able swordsman and excellent lance. He finds ranged weapons to be cowardly and despises bowmen. A great soldier and knight, Guymon excels at combat but not leading a larger host of men.

Name: Thaario Vahsi
Age: 55

Biography:

Born to the leader of a powerful Tyroshi Mercenary guild - Thaario Vahsi was born into a privileged home, sitting squarely in the middle of the Convlace of wealth and nobility within the Free City of Tyrosh. Though a wealthy and powerful home it might have been, it wasn't a happy one for the young Thaario as he was seen with contempt from his father Gratori Vahsi. This contempt was born from his inability to bear a son for so long in his life through many different wives and when finally a son was born he was marred with a deformity of the leg, a club-foot, leaving the young boy unable to walk without assistance.

This may not have been a large problem for other families but the Vahsi family were the creators of the Vahsi Lions, a mercenary company of great renown out of Tyrosh, that had grown into what was known as the Vahsi Concordance. The Concordance became a powerful and influential union of important Tyroshi mercenary bands. Gratori's dreams of his son creating his own band of mercenaries and spreading the Vahsi name far and wide died whenever he first looked upon the deformed leg.

Despite the lack of care he was given, Thaario would grow up to become a greater asset to Gratori than he could have ever imagined. The contempt had turned to admiration and pride when at the early age of 13 Thaario had already mastered many of the subjects presented by his tutors. Thaario's ability for both mathematical understanding and oratorical skill far outstripped his fathers and he began writting all of his father's adresses to the Convlace, along with assisting in the montery work that comes from working on a large number of mercenary companies.

In his first major act taking his father's place in the Convlace, he championed the cause of the very newly formed Triarchy in its attempt to push Volantis from the Disputed lands and form a lasting bond between the bitter rivals of Lys, Myr, and his own home of Tyrosh. In a political gambit that would define the life he would later lead, Thaario positioned the Vhaasi Concordence with it's ties to numerous Mercenary companies at the forefront of this coming war. Dangerous as it might have been for the dream his father had built up, his gambit had worked. With Volantis driven from the Disputed Lands and the Triarchy formed as the 'eternal alliance', the Vahsi family had quickly rocketed to the upper echelons of the Tyroshi political structure. Thaario himself was lauded with praise in the Convlace and was assigned a position upon the inner circle of the current Archon, Olasio Mortas, serving as the lord of the vault and master of coin.

Though a simple enough position, Thaario struggled to keep the coffers flush throughout the Triarchy's many wars in the Stepstones. Though victorious against the pirate coves that dotted the islands, the Triarchy's navy quickly proved no match to the Targaryens and their pet Sea Snake; Corlys Velaryon. This culminated in Daemon Targaryen being pronounced King of the Stepstones and the Narrow sea. This action was met with indignation from the Tyroshi, believing that the Stepstones were always their territory, and as such action had to be taken.

Thaario was released of his duties and re-commissioned as an emissary to the Kingdom of Dorne, seeking their aid in the reclaiming of the Stepstones. Though difficult Thaario spent the next three years in the foreign kingdom and eventually came back not only with the alliance that the Triarchy so desperately desired but also with his new wife.

Elia Martell was a fiery woman with a outspoken nature and bold convictions that brought her both praise and ire in the courts of Dorne. Born to the brother of the Prince, she did not have a direct claim to the throne but her opinion still held large sway over her uncle. Her staunch disagreement with the alliance to the Trairchy was the biggest hurdle that Thaario had to overcome in reaching the alliance he sought.

When the Emissary's from Lys and Myr had already been turned away, Thaario still pressured against Elia in attempts to change her mind. Three years passed while he attempted everything he could thing of to bring her to his side. His stubbornness was rewarded not by a careful plot he had laid to bring Dorne to his side regardless of the woman's opinions, but by a large amount of admiration and respect borne from the two parties arguing against each other.

The Alliance was penned and as a symbol of this new friendship a wedding was arranged between Thaario Vahsi and Elia Martell. In the year 110 AC the Triarchy with their new Dornish allies and lead by Racallio Ryndoon launched a counter attack into the Stepstones that would rage for many years. It was not long after this that Olasio Mortas, the former Archon, fell deathly ill. Although facing some opposition from his contemporaries Thaario Vahsi was raised to the position of Archon of Tyrosh. Though with fighting continuing over the Stepstones the next few years were fairly quiet for the new leader until rumblings in Westeros would try the man once again.

The Dance of the Dragons saw the Triarchy take the side opposing their long time enemies; Daemon Targaryen and Lord Corlys. The fighting was fairly far removed from the Triarchy but the raiding of the Gay Abandon and the subsequent battles came out as fairly even for the Triarchy, capturing a powerful hostige and sacking two towns upon dragons stone, but they had lost over two thirds of the fleet they had assembled for the fighting.

It was not long after that news reached the Triarchy that Aegon II had perished and that the Greens had lost the war. This news along with the in-fighting amongst the Triarchy and the beginnings of a rival alliance forming by Braavos, Pentos, and Lorath had left the politcal and martial strength built up by the Tyroshi in shambles.

Name: Elia Martell
Age: 58
Location: Sunspear, Dorne
Biography:

No one can say that Elia Martell didn't have great love for her home and people. As with many young Martell princess's she grew up on the stories of her beloved hero Nymeria and could only dream to grow up to be half the woman she was. Though never truly destined to sit upon Sunspear's throne, that never dissuaded her from attempting to influence the kingdom she loved dearly.

As she grew into her own as a strong, authoritative woman she grew closer to her uncle, the Prince of Dorne. Her own father had begun to grow tired of how she flitted around the courts, attempting to influence nobles and grow her own say within the kingdom. She had turned down many suitors in her attempt to serve Dorne. Despite her reluctance to settle down, most likely with one of the noble houses of her home kingdom, she still was held in high esteem in the court of Sunspear.

She almost always warded against getting Dorne involved in outside wars and attempted to keep a neutral stance when considering the fighting that involved their historically hostile northern neighbors. Believing that peace had kept Dorne prosperous and it being true that the last time Dorne had fought a war against a foreign power was the original invasion of Dorne over a hundred years ago.

Though she did not know it yet, she would help set in place a change in that policy when she first met a young ambassador with a strange streak of blue in his hair. Thaario Vahsi was later introduced to her as an ambassador from Tyroshi, a free city across the narrow sea, who had come to seek alliance and friendship from Dorne on behalf of his city and two others together whom form The Kingdom of Three Daughters that everyone seemed to call them.

Initially she was not very impressed with the young Thaario, he walked with a cane despite his young age and though his words were beautiful and well spoken she had seen the like of him before. The cold eyes and calculating minds of schemers and politicans, were nothing she, nor Dorne, wanted to deal with. She sent him away and urged the Prince of Dorne to do the same.

Many other ambassadors from the Triarchy came and went in an attempt to bring Dorne to their side, but most of them were even less impressive then the man from Tyrosh. Despite often heated debates between Elia and Thaario he seemed unwilling to give up on his goal and so he remained in Sunspear for another year.

Looking back on it, she couldn't even pinpoint when she fell for the young man from across the sea. Their debates had long stopped by the second year of his stay and she began to show him across her country, showing him all the things she loved about it, hoping to explain to him why she couldn't allow it to be dragged into a war in which it wasn't defending itself. She came to realize that, despite his cold eyes and calculating demeanor, Thaario was a kindred soul to her. The ambassador from Tyrosh only wished to serve his home as faithfully as she served hers.

Halfway into the third year of his stay Elia relented on a singular condition, that Thaario ask for her hand in marriage and grow to rule Tyrosh as the Archon. If he truly wished to gain Dorne's aid for his home he must come to love her and he must come to love Dorne. At the time this had brought a laugh to the ambassador from Tyrosh, he accepted without a second thought. Elia often wonders what Thaario was thinking at that point in time, if he really believed his love for her, or if he had reached the point where he would promise anything to gain the aid he required. She never truly found an answer she liked.

With her support and the support of those noble's close to her it did not take much longer to convince the Prince to side with the Triarchy in the Stepstone wars. The ambassador had done good work in her eyes, convincing many of the other nobles well before he had finally convince her. It was three years since his arrival but finally a ceremony was held to wed the two and she left with him upon a ship returning to Tyrosh.

Life in Tyrosh was strange to her. She missed the sands of Dorne, the strange colored hair that seemed so popular on this island, and most of all the incredible amount of slaves that worked the fortress city. She bore her struggles with this strange land as she wasn't a young girl anymore to do as she pleased. Her marriage to the once ambassador and future Archon was a difficult one as he was always involved in his work. Though some nights were lonely she knew what was required of him and attempted to assist him whatever way she could, often entertaining other nobles in their home, or meeting with merchant lords on his behalf.

In that first year in Tyrosh, Elia eventually became aware of the fruits of her marriage and would, not far from the first anniversary marking that marriage, give birth to her first child. A young girl born as the fruit between the two nations pact would grow up to be a stunning woman, surpassing her mother in beauty. The child's name was decided to be Lyeelia Vahsi.

Thaario, not long after the birth of his daughter, was voted to ascend to the station of Archon of Tyrosh and thus began to resemble his own father. Though not cruel to the young Lyeelia he often was much to busy with the continuing wars in the Stepstones to be the the caretaker for the young girl.

Elia had decided that the girl, though born with the blood of a Vahsi, still needed to know she was Dornish. She told Thaario that she would be heading back to her homeland to raise the girl. Expecting more push back from the Archon, she was suprised when he relented so quickly though he requested she wait until the war in the stepstones had finished so that travel might be safe for her and the young girl.

It was not until six years had past, far longer then either thought when they first signed their alliance, that the Targaryens had been driven from the stepstones. In that time Elia had born Thaario a second child, a overly loud boy who they decided to name Darios Vahsi. The Archon had a mere few months with his young boy and five year old daughter before passage had been acquired across the narrow sea.

Name: Lyeelia Vahsi

Biography:

The soaring arches and columns would be impressive to anyone that may visit the Archon's Manse on a small island off Tyrosh, but to a young Lyeelia the wonder and mysteries they held would be hers to call home. At the time just a toddler, she nonetheless loved the many gardens and secluded beaches that could be found all over her home. Despite the many secrets the ancient palace held, the largest mystery for the young Lyeelia was her own father.

When looking back on this part of her life Lyeelia only ever remembers a few choice meetings with her father. He was an intimidating presence to everyone in a room. Despite his average stature and obvious deformity that had him relying heavily on his can, the man represented an unseen guiding force for the young girl. Anytime they met she remembers him being the best teacher she would ever have, imparting knowledge she had no business understanding at such a young age. In a rare moment of humanity from a man that seemed more a legend to the young girl, he once said that, "These were moments he will always cherish and he can only offer his sincerest apologies for the hand fate had dealt the two of them." Not knowing what it meant at the time, it nonetheless held the respect and love of the girl as she became a woman.

Lyeelia's relationship with her mother was a much simpler one than the enigma that was her father. Elia was everything the young girl could look for in a role-model and caretaker. She was both wise and loving in a way that no-one the girl would ever meet again. While her father might have imparted knowledge; her mother imparted spirit. She learned that the land her mother came from held women to be intelligent, powerful, and fit to rule. The stories imparted to her from her mother gave the young girl a drive to better herself.

Before her 6th birthday two important things happened to her, she boarded a boat set for Dorne and she became an older sister. She would spend the rest of her formative years in the sandy home of her mother. Trained in all the skills befitting a woman of her station, but also all the skills fitting a woman of Dorne. One of these skills was quickly manifest in her youth, the ability to quickly subdue men many times her size in close-combat. Her quickness of motion was matched by a quickness of mind to produce a fighter unrivaled against her peers. Regardless of her birth place, it was quickly apparent that Lyeelia was a Dornish Viper at heart.

On top of her many studies, Lyeelia would often dote on her younger brother. Though as they grew older it was more difficult to find time together, she would take to writing her younger sibling any time they were apart. The bond they would share was one that kept both of them sane in a country not their own and with parents much to important to be nurturing caretakers. When she heard that she had been called back to Tyrosh by her father, she promised that she would see him again though she knew not when.

Returning to her birthplace was an eye-opener for the young woman. There massive disparity in class between the inumerous slaves and their merchant-lords was not something she had remembered from her youth or learned in Dorne. The flying arches and striking columns of the Archon's Palace, though having lost the sheen of childlike wonder, were still magnificent and apprehension would plague her until her meeting with the Archon himself.

The aged man across the table from her was exactly the one she remembered, even in his progressing years and graying hair, his command of a room was astounding and the cold eyes seemed to see right through her seeing everything she had become. She was quickly informed by the man of the events of the Dance of the Dragons, a war raging in the continent she had just left from, and Tyrosh's involvement in said war. Regardless of it's outcome, she was to set sail for King's Landing to represent Tyrosh's interests and to either keep Otto Hightower to his word or should they fail to the blacks keep them from taking an interest in the Stepstones or other Tyroshi territory.

She was further informed that, though it was a dangerous request, she was more to be a spectacle for the court. Her hair would be dye'd with blue highlights on top of her naturally black hair as befitting one from Tyrosh and she was instructed to the heraldry and family lines of many of the houses she might meet at court. Finally, she was informed a mercenary company close to her family would take care of the security at the villa she would be staying at and that, although the Noble Houses of Westeros have more important things to worry about, she should stay alert at all times.

With a duty to her country of birth thrust upon her, the young woman left for a perhaps unfriendly capitol all on her own for the first time in her life.

Biography:

Darios Vahsi's memories all revolve around the friends he made in Dorne. Though it is true he was born in Tyrosh like his sister, he holds no memory of the island kingdom nor his father. The stories told to him by his older sister might as-well be fairy-tales for how close they are to his present life

He made fast friends with many of the noble children that stayed in Sunspear and though his physical prowess didn't match that of his friends or the legend set by his sister, he had a friendly demeanor and an undeniable charisma that bought him many favors around this city as he grew into adolescence.

Despite his many friends he made as he grew, he was closer to his sister than anyone else. They were often inseparable in their younger days and as they grew older they began to correspond by pen when they were separated. He was beyond distraught when she told him she would be leaving Dorne for their home of Tyrosh. This brought about a melancholy in him that was hard to shake.

Currently the young boy is in a point of limbo as the machinations of the larger political world seem to be starting to grind into motion around him with him non-the-wiser.

Name: Ormaas Vahsi

Biography:

Ormaas was a man of little importance in the world at large, born to a slave that was taken to bed by a once great man in Gratori Vahsi. By the time of his childhood, Gratori was already an old man far past his prime. Despite his aging body, the once great mercenary lord took the bastard under his wing and raised him to be the son he never had in Thaario.

Under Gratori and many other warrior's tutelage, Ormaas would grow into a man of incredible strength and form. When the Vahsi Bastard took to the field along side his father's mercenary company, the Vahsi Lions, he would quickly prove a name for himself as a brutally overwhelming warrior. He took the reins of this lion by the young age of twenty-five and lead his men into every battle he could find, bringing a new spark of pride and honor to his father's old company.

The Tyroshi government would hire a large number of mercenary companies to find alongside their troops in the Dance of the Dragons and though costly would turn out to be very lucrative for many of the companies that decided to join up in the fighting. Ormaas himself became a man of considerable wealth on his own when he participated in the Sacking of Spice Town and brought many of it's riches back to his home in Tyrosh.

His company would be hired again near the war's end by his half-brother, Thaario Vahsi the Archon, to guard his niece and emissary from Tyrosh on her trip to King's Landing. Harboring neither any love or ill-will to the Archon, Ormaas gladly took the lucrative job and sailed again for Westeros along with Lyeelia.

Appearance (source): Lithe and slightly shorter than the average man, Robin hardly makes for an imposing figure. Dresses in exquisite, fine clothing while working or engaging with the lords and ladies of Westeros, and plain peasant garbs otherwise. His facial features are gaunt and weathered, yet his large blue eyes and blond, curly hair seem to balance the scales, given how easily Robin tend to work his way inside bedchambers. A scar adorns his face, a telltale sign of his daring personality.

Biography: Robin Hill was born to Kella, a serving wench at a tavern in Lannisport. His early childhood was quite wild, his mother often leaving him to fend for himself as she spread her legs for what seemed like anyone in the hopes of gaining a husband. Later, once Robin had grown a man himself, he would consider this a very counterproductive measure. As told by his mother, Robin's father was a lord of the Westerlands, though which his mother would never say. While never sure as to whether his mother was telling him the truth about this or anything, it was plain for all to see that his father must be someone well off as Kella received a generous amount of coin every month.

Somewhere around his eight' nameday, Kella noticed that Robin had quite the singing voice. Accordingly, he was promptly put on stage by the tavern owner Morney every night to perform with the various bards coming and going. While enjoying the attention at first, something he had always sorely lacked, it wasn't long before Robin grew contempt with his role. Treated little more than an animal, Robin decided to run away. However, the boy was too scared of his mother - who certainly didn't hesitate in beating him when displeased with him, and he feared what she might do if she caught him.

Blessed was he then, when one of his mother's lovers turned sour at realizing Kella had slept with half of Lannisport, stabbing the woman to death. The man was dealt with swiftly by a couple of burly patrons. "A small comfort, mayhaps" Morney had told him, but Robin wanted to thank the murderer rather than watching him hang. The very next day, Robin scrounged up what little coin and things of value his mother had and set out, leaving Lannisport behind him.

Life on the road was hardly easy, especially not for a child, but Robin learned how to survive. He allowed himself to be used in whatever way desired in return for food and shelter, eventually resorting to performing in taverns, inns and wherever else he was allowed. As he grew older, half a man, Robin realized his talents surpassed most. He relied more and more on singing to sustain him, and started spending his free time composing songs and ballads worthy of far more experienced bards. This time around, the attention he got wasn't as that of some cute little boy where the laughs and smiles were mocking him. This time, the interest was genuine, and Robin revelled in it.

He began bedding men and women alike in search of attention, appreciation and, perhaps, affection. Years went buy and Robin soon found himself att fancier occasions and locations, tending to nobility as often as the smallfolk. While drunken lovers had always shared their secrets, Robin found that noble secrets held actual value. Coaxing out truths and scandals was as much of a drug for Robin as bedding the people in the first place was. It made him feel powerful and in control, and now he saw potential for monetary gains as well.

Wether by chance or fate, Robin eventually happened across a man named Luco, a Lysene sellsword. As it turned out, Luco was a very knowledgable man who put Robin in contact with decidedly powerful people. Information was a valuable commodity in these peoples circles, and Luco made sure to initiate Robin. Soon enough, Robin was making additional coin selling tales of infidelity, jealousy, murder and grudges to entities looking to extort and/or cripple.

Yet this was not enough. While enjoying the ridiculous attention he was getting from seemingly all directions, Robin couldn't help but feeling used - ever and always. He was being used as musical enjoyment by patrons, sexual enjoyment by partners and now as an informant by everyone. Dissatisfied, Robin was embittered. Sinking into depression, Robin used alcohol to get away from himself - finally something he used rather than the other way around. He stopped writing new material, began stealing from his lovers and lying to those he sold truths to. Growing ever more contemptuous, Robin soon stopped caring at all about others. Or at least, so he told himself. Stealing became murder, and while he found little enjoyment in taking a life, he did find it a way of turning the tables - he didn't feel used by those he eventually killed. Even so, Robin felt anything but joy.

And then the Dance of the Dragons began. As war broke loose, bards where in little want. Where there would normally be work, there was now either chaos or nothing. Deciding he had no wish to die just yet, Robin joined Luco as the latter offered him to journey with him back to Lys, far away from the ongoing war. In Lys, Robin found his carnal pleasures far more accepted and commonplace. Him and Luco opened a brothel which soon turned into a meeting place for the Lysene elite. Luco was not the common-but-connected sellsword Robin had thought him to be, but rather a very uncommon one, hired by the ruling magisters as a spy and, sometimes, assassin in both Westeros and the Free Cities. Through him, Robin met the magisters himself, whom explained they sought another man like Luco in Westeros, but one who was Westerosi himself, and Luco had recommended Robin. It was an opportunity that was hard to pass up on, as Robin was offered far more coin than he was accustomed to. Yet the dilemma remained - he would be used once again.

Robin decided to take up the magisters on their offer (after all, their reaction to a refusal would hardly lead to anything positive) on a few conditions; he would be given free reign in Westeros, going where and when he pleased without Lysene directions. Moreover, Robin required the twenty-odd slaves at his brothel to be set free. In return, they were to accompany him as servants to Westeros. They were to headquarter in a secluded mansion that Luco had proposed (and that had later been bought through the magisters) in the Crownlands. While the magisters had been hesitant in allowing mere slaves that kind of freedom and responsibility, Robin and Luco had assured them it would not pose a problem. The slaves had been treated well by Robin, who genuinely respected his slaves because of the fact that they never used him and did whatever Robin desired. This was of course never an otion for a slave, but Robin valued it regardless, and his slaves were more than happy to serve a master who did not mistreat them.

And so as the Dance of the Dragons concluded, Robin and his servants left Lys by three different ships, all headed to King's Landing. Most of the servants where to continue immediately to the mansion, while a few where to remain in King's Landing in case Robin needed their service. Robin himself was to reassume his vocation as a bard, trying to woo himself into the court affairs of King's Landing. Meanwhile, Luco was left behind to attend the brothel as well as the business in general in Lys. After all, what could possibly be a better incentive to remain loyal to the magisters than the well-being and life of Robin's lover, and quite possibly love, Luco?

Name: Lord Garland "The Young Rose" Tyrell

Appearance and Personality:



Garland appears to have the traits of most Tyrells, very well kept long brown hair, and a swordsman's physique, being perhaps as strong as a Lord ought to be when it comes to wielding a weapon- a foe to fear, with tourneys and his prior experience giving him plenty of experience for his young age, and the appropriate strength that comes with it. A couple of scars from conflicts past still lie on his left shoulder, though it is difficult to immediately spot. Garland stands at 6"2, with hazel colored eyes, a short and striking beard that wraps around his chin, and a healthy complexion, his face neither too lean nor fat. By most standards, he is regarded as amongst the most beautiful men in The Reach, and he has found that it has been more than enough to attract women across the court, with fairly expected effects. At 21, he's had several bastards, the mothers of whom haven't even returned to Garland regarding it, which speaks volumes about Garland's charming nature- they seem humbled to have had a tumble with the Lord. His good looks are striking, and it doesn't seem to be just due to his young age, rather a permanent trait- he seems elegant, charming, a man who looks perfect to represent the Reach's chivalric heart, the Young Rose having a silhouette of a man, at least in The Reach, of something the Seven would want to create.

Beyond his looks, Garland is a quick figure, perhaps the luck of the draw giving him the ability to do well at getting down to the buisness of being Lord Paramount. This quickness perhaps allows him to continue the typical Tyrell traits that can be observed in many members of the family, particularly on the male side- being astute, gregarious and chivalrous, having a high sense of honor and a high regard to family. He has courage and while not addicted to violence, is happy to get stuck into a fight. As a commander, he serves well, being able to make reasonable tactical decisions on both his theoretical knowledge and his previous experiences, though he is no legendary figure on the battlefield, not yet at least. On the surface, appears to be kind and charitable, a good hearted fellow- though it seems that the last two years have hardened his resolve and made him a little cynical towards some topics. While he is impaired by being still a recent ruler in The Reach, and significantly younger than most of his fellow Lords Paramount, he does not overestimate or underestimate his position. He still has much to learn about the true horrors of politics in King's Landing, yet seems able to comprehend how to present his image, being smart enough to know when to lie and when to be honest. He still does need to improve his skills in general rulership, however, and to drop his parts of his provincial nature, that of a lower character than a Lord. Whilst he is no Spider when it comes to plotting, if it allows himself and everyone in his family to benefit, he will plot against those external threats that seek to damage the The Reach, leaving this business often to his sister, Alerie, in order to protect his own reputation. Ultimately, it is the only chink in his otherwise Knightly-approach to the world.

On the field of combat, Garland can be seen wearing a Reach-produced suit of plate armor- the designs from this part of the world always raising eyebrows in other parts of the Kingdom, as a result of the many curves and details that they entail, clearly being a highly-strewn piece of work- roses and flowers intricately scratched into the armor, making distinct ridges that seem to fully validate Garland as a Lord Paramount of The Reach. While the metalworkers of the Reach are not renowned in the Kingdoms, the artistic flair and beauty of such armor is distinctly eyecatching for members of the Tyrell family, being exceptionally expensive. He usually wields a longsword, paired with a wooden shield, fighting in the traditional Westerosi fashion. Training puts him a league above most Hedge Knights- though being the head of the House means he has little time to rehearse as he once could. Off the tourney field or battlefield, he can be seen wearing a expensive white and green tunic, suitable for the fairly temperate to semi-arid climate of the Reach, being usually more than enough, if not a more suitable garb for colder climes.

Biography:

An unlikely Lord Paramount, but one that seemingly got lucky. The Reach find Garland a man of chivalry and binding servitude to his family, being generally lusted for by Reachwomen of all types, though without the benefit of a long serving ruler's wisdom.

Garland was born in Highgarden to Moryn Tyrell, the brother to the then Lord Paramount of The Reach, Gregor Tyrell, and received an education that would only befit a child in a position such as himself. Whilst he was only a mere Nephew of the current Lord, he was taught by both maesters and a tutor, in methods of swordsmanship and learning. It was a typical education for Tyrell, it seemed- and Garland was acknowledged as being a quick lad, definitely of use to the family in one way or another. He had no idea of what his future held- he had considered becoming a man of the Kingsguard, but swiftly rejected this after he found himself perhaps too attached to female admirers, leaving a small trail of bastards in his wake at festivities held in Highgarden. Instead, he was offered the chance to work within the Court in Highgarden, assisting with the administration of the Reach, and from the age of 16 onwards, was actively involved in the inner workings of running a Lordship. Fighting was still his talent, but he found it was not something he could do as often, not before the beginnings of the Dance of Dragons at least. He was not one concerned with numbers, he was merely concerned with making sure that the Kingdom's men and vassal houses kept the knee bent towards the family of the gold rose, almost acting in a diplomatic sense to maintain The Reach's power.

Garland did not fight in the Dance of Dragons directly, having to run the Lordship where the Lady Regent could not, and deal with external threats outside of the scope of the war- most prominently, the consistent Dornish raids in the south of the Kingdom, where Garland fought on numerous occasions in the hilly regions beyond the Dornish Marches, and on more than one occasion, defending against incursions from the Iron Islander raids, whenever they dared head further south than the rich ports of Lannisport and the other towns of the Westerlands. It was a well balanced approach, and whilst there was no promise of land at the end of it all, he served the infant Lyonel Tyrell without question, both acting as a Commander and Chancellor throughout this period. Things did however, begin to change- both negatively and positively for Garland.

Death struck quickly within the Tyrells as the war began to approach it's apex, and Moryn, his father died when Garland was only 18, killed by infection following maiming from a Dornish spear. He felt terrified, yet this event itself was not the worst event that could occur in the family, with only a few months later the infant Lord Paramount of the Reach passing away from illness. It was that terror and anxiety that had to be cleared almost immediately if Garland was to take on his new responsibility.

The death of Lyonel meant that succession in the Tyrell branch had to continue one way or another, and what seemed like an imminent power struggle between himself and the Lady Regent, Lyanna Tyrell, never occurred, as Garland immediately returned to Highgarden with a contingent of Hightower men to keep the peace for his Lordship. This meant that the 19-year old was now the new Lord Paramount, placed into a position of power of the expanse of The Reach. It felt strange, and whilst many thought that he would crack under the pressure, Garland adopted well to being the Warden of the South. The remaining years of the war left little to no impact on The Reach's agricultural power, if anything, increasing demand from the North and other war-ravaged parts of the Kingdom for grain. Garland was not taught that he would become the Lord Paramount, rather he would be merely some lower-down Commander and perhaps at best, a representative for the family in King's Landing. Yet his practical experiences sent a clear message, that he could maintain the status quo of The Reach, run it as his predecessors had. That they were Growing Strong. He was named "The Young Rose" for his increasing determination to keep The Reach together in the face of these minor squabbles and issues, and was adept at holding together the fabric of the agricultural lands of The Reach.

Within the scope of the Kingdom, Garland now rules from Highgarden, with his list of enemies and dissidents decreasing by the day. Most do not even need to be put to the sword, as they merely bend the knee once more, as soon as they understand what this world now entails. War does not fill the Seven Kingdoms, and whilst Garland understands that the grain shall be great, it is what next that shall cement the Tyrells in a position to be called the Kingmakers. The Tyrells are not in a position of being ultimately undermined on all sides, as some Houses have faced, and will continue on strong, from his personal opinion. After all, Garland was taught that the Seven Kingdoms call on the Tyrells when they go to war, and call on them for food. It is a position to obtain great levels of power, and whilst Garland understands he is loyal to the Targaryen King, Aegon, he is in a position to put himself closer into the throes of power, if he plays his cards correctly.

Apart from rulership, of which Garland has been forced to employ several advisers from vassal houses to assist in dealing with wider-spread law making and justice, Garland concerns himself with the business of diplomacy and Chancellory, leaving the number crunching to Maesters, but being able to manage the day-to-day diplomatic running of the kingdom with his vassals that serve under his name more personally than most Lords- envisioning himself as a Lord who rules as a natural right in The Reach, yet providing a stake to those who serve well. His gregarious nature means that he enjoys throwing lavish Fairs, with the Harvest seeing one in the planning stages already, for another good yield- and at these fairs, all manner of debauchery and actions can occur. Garland is also interested by Falconry, being another hobby that he enjoys partaking in. He is still unmarried, something that he is currently also interested into- and perhaps a continuation of his quest to continue to cement The Reach's influence in the Seven Kingdoms.

Name: Alerie Tyrell
Age: 17

Standing at 5"6, with a thin and short, yet well developed frame, Alerie is visibly beautiful, her youth still running strong and making this occur. With a moderate bust, and hazel eyes, she clearly has caught the attention of more than just one Reach Knight, though she has not yet found a suitable man to wed, one that would increase the family's already formidable connections. Alerie happens to have a burgundy-red hair, something that seems a little unexplained- given the family's strong trend towards passing down the dark brown hair throughout the family's offspring. None the less, Alerie still holds a wonderful physique, and makes no mistake in showing it off.

Alerie's personality is sharp, thorny and most definitely a darker side to the chivalric touches that House Tyrell has- though you won't see it immediately, because her appearance and outlook towards others in public is highly controlled. She is as quick as her brother, if not more intelligent, and she can often subtly watch others' deceptions, wittingly putting up her own where she pleases without barely even blinking. Her knowledge of what assets she has, both in her beauty and of scheming compensate for her lack of wisdom and life experiences; she has already learned through her young years that men will do anything for a woman like her, and as such, beyond this far more can be done. She has the utmost respect for Garland, but understands that sometimes more dastardly approaches must be taken to make the family's power echo- being tutored by the Lady Regent making this idea stick in her mind. She still has a lot to learn, however- and understands that she must prepare to scale up her already existing thorns in her personality, in preparation for the poltical pressures to come in King's Landing. She seems openly charitable, being very careful regarding her image towards her peers, almost being a master of presenting herself correctly. Whilst her gregarious and otherwise positive and glowing demeanor can make but the coldest of hearts feel at home, being famed for her warm and good nature, below this facade a calculating and sophisticated mind is at work, for her young age proving clearly her ambitions.

She can often be seen wearing a dark green and gold dress, embroidered with golden roses across it's surface- a fortune to pay for, as a result of it's intricate dressmaking and the expensive dyes used, being suitably revealing at the bust but not uncomfortable- giving her a charming image when at court. The ante is increased, as at a fair, she may wear an even more expensive garb, with corsets and eloquent golden and green dresses coming out for the show; a reminder that even at 17, she has an aware knowledge of her need to impress, acting as the Vanguard of the most exuberantly dressed women in The Reach. Her aurora seems to be well projected when she is in a room, because no matter how silly some Northmen or Ironborn may consider it, it turns heads.

Biography and Personality:

There's always something about the women in the Tyrell family. A sharp wit, and an even sharper appearance, little can be denied about the fact that the Seven look kindly upon them in this family.

Born in Highgarden, Alerie is the second oldest sibling currently in the family, born to Moryn and Elinor Tyrell. She was the second of the second, so to speak, but as her brother was educated, so she was too. She was taught how to be a lady in the court, and was given tutors and also teaching from the then Lady Lyanna Tyrell, learning the way of the world. She was taught particularly well by Lyanna how to lie and how to present herself, being a beautiful girl and uncannily good at concealing the truth, something that Lyanna was indeed very impressed by. The years rolled by, and the death of Gregor Tyrell meant that Alerie was suddenly faced with a new reality- that of her grandmother being around less in order to act as Lady Regent to Lyonel Tyrell, leaving Alerie more to her own devices. This she did, and outside of playing the harp and horse riding around the wooded estates surrounding the banks of the Mander, she embarked on learning the ins and outs of the local politics, often spying on the other ladies of the court and the debauchery they got up to.

The ascent of Garland Tyrell meant she followed him in power, now as the Lord Paramount's sister which has resulted in the last couple of years of her tutorship being created a little different to what she had before. She has been tutored in ways that perhaps indicate a higher calling, one that in the coming months, may lead to Alerie helping the family climb the slipper ladder in the Seven Kingdoms by a different mean than just a mere council position. She has been taught far more on how to be the woman of the House, and to act as the thornier Rose in comparison to Garland, to continue to impress at fairs and banquets, and play the part in making sure the family stays in power.

Name: Rickard Tyrell
Age: 14
Appearance:

Rickard stands at about 5"0, a short lad, not expected to grow significantly more than this, with his weak disposition resulting in this trait. He has the brown hair of the family, having it kept far shorter than Garland- his brown eyes and well placed facial features suggesting that this is a lad that is definitely a Tyrell. That said, as a result of his weak nature, he is unable to walk for prolonged periods of time, using a cane to move around, and cannot do any menial physical task of any kind.

Rickard is quite shy, quiet to say the least, compared to his very gregarious and courageous brethren. He seems to have a clear indication of what he wants to say, being very mature and knowledgeable for his age- he has almost a cynical trait, always finding out things, always seeming to apply his knowledge. He seems bright, but not in a way that would perhaps apply a more practical edge to things, such as Garland or Alerie's more practical or charming natures.

Biography:

Rickard is Moryn and Elinor Tyrell's third and youngest son, a son that proved to break the charm of good luck that had been seen in Garland and Alerie, as a crippled boy. He was expected to die following his birth, but survived, due to some sort of miracle from the Seven, perhaps something else that kept him alive in his frail state. Whatever reason, he was weak in disposition, and has to use a cane to walk, his spine and general body being significantly weaker than most. Whilst able to move, he seems to lack an energy of boys of his type, being just unable to do much good. This left him in a strange position- the third born was never a son of any high relevance, not him. He was never brought up as lavishly as Garland and Alerie, though he was provided with a tutor and books, to educate himself on the world. This was something that Rickard took to strongly, and seemed to be the best solution for his predicament.

Learning and book reading was Rickard's passion, from epic poems of previous Targaryen conquests to those dating back beyond into the rule of the Gardeners, on the life and times of the peoples of The Reach. History, classic literature, whatever Rickard could get his hands on, he read. Rather than a formidable set of swordsmanship skills or political shrewdness, Rickard appears to be more of a scholar. He seems to have a similar quickness to his brother and sister, albeit not in the same way.

Rickard is still a young lad, and is expected to become a Maester, though Garland and Alerie, his older guardians, still have doubts about his physical capabilities to fulfill this end. In this regard, he is the Tyrell that some of the family would not mention, though Garland loves him as his only brother, and only wants the best for him- knowing that he would serve the family best in Oldtown, safe and away from the problems to come.

Alestair is a moderately well built man, able to swing a sword but unable to fight like Garland or his father, the Willas Tyrell that was renowned as a commander in the service of the Tyrell family. With similarly well kept brown hair and hazel eyes, Alestair bears many similarities to Garland, though he clearly has more age in his appearances, both due to stress and being nine years older than the current Lord Paramount of The Reach. He maintains a short beard, and his voice is a distinctly deep and clear one, perfect for addressing a group of people.

Alestair is a difficult individual to understand easily from first glance- he is talented at diplomacy and a good man for presenting facts and figures, though his paranoia gets the best of him at times, an underlying trait of watching his back that King's Landing has forced him to take up. He is an honest man in a den of snakes, though he can sometimes bend the truth to make it seem far more comfortable to his peers, seeing it not as as outright lying but distorting the reality of the work. He is clearly adept at keeping his head firmly on his shoulders- so perhaps it can be justified, though sometimes, he is paranoid at individuals who are clearly not threats to his living. This said, Alestair is able to still portray a surface of trust, and is clearly correctly aligned for political work in King's Landing, not having too little ambition nor too much. He seems to not rely on a network of spies, but on his wits and political outmaneuvering, making sure that he always leaves the table with the best deal.

Due to his work inside King's Landing, he can usually be seen dressed in a leather jerkin and a tunic, adjusting himself a little more towards the climate of the capital.

Biography:

Alestair is Garland's cousin, to the Gregor and Moryn, born to the third brother, Willas Tyrell. He is the oldest child in the whole family, but due to his thirdborn status, as well as preferential status to the Moryn line, he lower on the current line of succession- something he is content with, due to the lack of rulership he himself has in the field of The Reach.

Born in Highgarden, the only son of Willas and the first child born to any of the Tyrell siblings (before Garland, even), Alestair was a boy brought up to understand the ins and outs of politics, the fickle game that it appeared that the Tyrells were playing, and he was particularly good at talking to people, making connections. His tutoring was normal- but he didn't have the same strength as his father- Willas being disappointed that his son was not an adept commander, but a talker. This disconnect existed until Willas died

Sent to King's Landing, he arrived before the beginning of the Dance of Dragons, and despite the sheer level of bloodshed that occurred, Alestair managed to keep his head, working as a neutral adviser to the fragmented Green council. It was more luck than anything else that made sure that he was able to achieve- his loose association with the Green Council following the Fall of King's Landing seeing his arrest, followed by subsequent release due to a lack of evidence that connected the Tyrell to any of the council's activies.

In short, he yielded, Rhaenyra an individual that Alestair could already foresee would have to in turn give into the realities of King's Landing. The Riots, followed by the deaths of Rhaenyra's dragons created an air of instability that made Alestair paranoid, watching his back for people that would happily murder him for whatever shadow lurked in the dark. It worked- but not at the cost of Alestair's long term approach to living in King's Landing.

The end of the war saw normality return, whatever that normality could ever be. The conflict may have been over, but in King's Landing, Alestair still had work to do. Aegon III now sits on the throne, and Alestair in more recent history, has found that he has to be swift in renegotiating the position that the Tyrells hold in the Seven Kingdoms, now finding himself in a place where he could even become influential to the young King and his frail and disrupted Seven Kingdoms...though of course, there are always other forces at play, and Alestair understands that as with all political affairs, some do not wish for this course of action to occur.

A married man (marrying prior to the Dance of Dragons), he still has his obligations to the Crown, and in the aftermath of the civil war, knows that he has to play his part, much like the rest of his family- to hold the Seven Kingdoms together, Aegon III will need more than just internal support to make things work, his experienced nature yet the broader Tyrell neutrality proving to go at loggerheads in Alestair's role in King's Landing.

Name: Cregan Stark, Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North

Appearance: Cregan stands at over six feet tall and is weathered by his numerous winters and wars. Old scars all over his torso, arms, and legs, mark his many battles. Despite his age his hair and beard retain their color. Cregan is an old man, almost ancient by the standards of the North but still possesses the lean strength of an experienced warrior.

Biography: Cregan was the oldest of three sons to Lord Rickard Stark and Lady Talia Karstark. Even at a young age, it was clear that the boy was a natural fighter, rider, and hunter. He mastered bladed combat and riding at twelve, and killed a bear with a bow when he was fourteen. The young heir to Winterfell was a wild youth, with a heavy dose of the wolf blood, and was often drinking, hunting, fighting, or bedding. He was beloved of all the men of the castle for his valor and daring and adored by the women for his reckless allure. He was quite beloved by his father for all of this but it was his mother that sought to moderate him. She was only partly successful and Cregan often took his younger siblings along on his misadventures.

Cregan was Lord of Winterfell since he was seventeen years old, after his father died in a hunting accident. The young Lord took to the role naturally, the weight of command and the tutelage of his mother finally sobering the wild young man. He steered his family through many Winters and oversaw a period of great growth for his House. The North was well protected from raiders and wildlings, Cregan often taking the field with his brothers to quell any threat. Cregan was a powerful warrior and a terror on the battlefield with his greatsword Ice. He kept a firm but honorable hand on his bannermen, rewarding friendship and loyalty and swiftly punishing any wrong doing. Few were executed however, as his brother always needed men to man the wall, and most said that Cregan's judgement was fair.

At age twenty-three he took Mira Bolton to wife. The quiet, intelligent, and sometimes harsh pale beauty was in strong contrast to the young Lord's larger than life demeanor and he took quickly to the razor-tongued girl. With his Karstark cousins and Bolton in-laws firmly in his camp, the rule of House Stark solidified and the North was heavily united behind Cregan Stark's leadership. Cregan fathered many children but the North is cruel. He had two sons and a daughter, and took in his nephews and nieces when his brother Ethan and his wife were taken by sickness. He was a warm father to his children and taught them all the value of decisive action and loyalty.

Prince Jacaerys made a pact with Cregan, the Pact of Ice and Fire, that a Targaryen Princess would marry into the Stark family if Cregan gave the blacks his support. Cregan declared for Rhaenrya in the Dance of Dragons and assembled his men. Cregan marched south his younger son and a host of men considered expendable. They were denied the pleasure of battle with Aegon the Second's death and the greens sued for peace. Cregan assumed the position of Hand of the King and had twenty-two men arrested for Aegon's murder. He killed three by his hand, including Corlys Velaryon, as was the Old Way but let the remainder take the black.

The Hour of the Wolf ended swiftly and Cregan returned home. He left command of the men remaining in the south to his son Jorah. When word of Ironborn Raiders reached his ears upon his return he was furious. He charged the elimination of any Ironborn Reavers in the North to his niece the She-Wolf and let his son Brandon accompany his cousin on some of her sorties against the Reavers. Wary of his southern neighbors he gave Moat Cailin to his nephew Theon along with a force and castle staff that included many of Cregan's relations and charged Theon to defend the castle from any and all aggression. The Old Man of Winterfell remains watchful for any threats and prepares for Winter, all the while demanding that the Iron Throne honor its promise to House Stark.

Name: Mira Bolton

Age: 46

House/Affilitation: Stark

Appearance: Mira is the perfect picture of a noble wife. She was beautiful and pale in her youth and remains much the same, her features mostly unmarred by the passage of time. Her cold blue eyes are famous for their ability to either entice or intimidate. She stands at nearly a height with her husband, prefers to wear very little jewelry, and is not overly concerned with fine clothing. She wears practical and functional dress but it does not hide her womanly figure at all.

Biography: Mira was the eldest daughter to Lord Roose of the Dreadfort, one of many children. Her father was always cold and distant, taking little interest in his daughter and her mother died when she was very young. Mira learned to survive the cruel atmosphere encouraged by her father on her own, avoiding the lecherous nature of her uncles and the shrewish demeanor of her aunts. She grew very fond of books and was quite learned. Navigating the under-handed and two-faced dynamics of her family gave her a sharp eye and an even sharper tongue, and she was famed for her cutting wit even among the Boltons.

Mira was an avid reader but was little enamored with courtly tales of love and heroism for her life among House Bolton taught her there was very little truth to the stories. Mira was more convinced of the ghastly tales associated with her own family, though she never found where her father supposedly kept the skins of their enemies. She was never concerned with playing beautiful music, dancing, or making pretty dresses. Instead she learned to hunt, ride as well as any scout, work a dagger like a master, and keep track of figures. She spent as much time with the Maester learning to read and write as she did with the master-at-arms and the hunters. She impressed her father with her knowledge and usefulness but never grew a real rapport.

It was clear from an early age that she was beautiful, and many men and boys desired her in bed or in marriage. Mira refused all of them and once had to fight off a cousin who grew too fond of her. When she told her father he told her to take care of it herself. She ended up shooting a rabbit, skinning it, and spreading the bloody mess on the boy's bed and person while he slept. Nobody else bothered her again and her father gave her a rare smile when he heard of it. As accustomed as she was to blood, she did not share much of her family's love for it however. Many of her relatives treated their servants harshly, and there were rumors of much darker goings on in the castle but Mira herself never partook. She found more pleasure in riding, reading, and hunting.

At a nameday feast for Lord Cregan, the young lady Mira caught his eye. She knew of his reputation however and rebuffed his advances quite readily. Her refusals only inflamed his interest however and he constantly attempted to court her. She finally relented and eventually the two grew to love one another, Cregan asked her father for her hand in marriage and Roose accepted, gaining House Bolton much influence and favor in the process. Mira lost her maidenhood to Cregan on their wedding night and the two were happily married ever since, Cregan finally stopping his lustful ways for one woman.

Mira found a home in Winterfell, filled with those who loved and respected her like they never had in the Dreadfort. She grew to feel more like a Stark than she had ever felt a Bolton and considered Winterfell her real home. When she was twenty-one, she gave Cregan a son named Brandon. Two more children followed and it was the happiest she ever had been. She raised her children to be responsible, intelligent children with just a trace of the wildness of their father. Mira was beloved of those within the castle and renowned as a gracious host to all their visitors.

After the turmoil of the Dance of Dragons, Mira still stands strong besides her husband willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the survival of her family. For as much as she is a Stark, she is also a Bolton and she would kill a hundred children if it meant saving her own

Name: Jon Stark

Age: 53

Affiliation: The Night's Watch

Appearance: Jon is shorter than his brother by a head and is just as weathered if not even more so. A scar from a wildling blade marks his face, sliding down over one eye where it was nearly put out by the dagger. His hair is mostly grey but his eyes retain their vibrancy and sharpness. Jon lost the little finger of his left hand to frosbite and wears a special black glove over the hand.

Biography: Jon was always a sober and quiet man, much unlike his older brothers. He loved to fight with swords and hunt as much as they did but disdained women and drink. He was a studious lad who always obeyed his parents unlike Cregan. And although he did not like to participate in his brother's vices, he was always loyal. He never revealed secrets or reported his brother to their parents. Jon was beloved by their mother for his responsibility and by Cregan for his discretion and willingness to follow. Jon may not have had the wolf blood like his brother but he had reliability and determination to always remain true.

Jon showed great skill in martial affairs but was never as gifted as his brother, but was the superior in intellectual pursuits. It was often said that he would make a fine Maester, he had the mind and chaste disposition for it. But Jon did not relish the thought of serving another House in some far away land. He wanted to serve in a way that made use of his talents, and where he could remain close to home. And as he never wished for a wife, his calling soon became clear.

After Cregan became Lord of Winterfell, Jon decided to join the Night's Watch. He entered at the age of fifteen, determined to defend the land from the wildlings that would periodically raid the North, stealing, burning, raping, and killing. Jon was a natural for the Rangers and excelled in his new position. He made several Rangings beyond the Wall and proved his mettle through cold snow and bloody battle. He lost a finger to the frost and was nearly killed more times than he could count but his intellect, resourcefulness, and skill saw him through it all.

He was a Ranger for twenty years, First Ranger for six of them. Jon was quite popular among his sworn brothers for his prowess and his willingness to accept anyone in order to get the job done. He was popular with the senior officers for his reliability and usefulness, Jon Stark became renowned on the Wall and feared beyond it for his skill at hunting down Wilding raiders. After Winter took the Old Lord Commander, the time came for a choosing. Despite his protests, he was quickly nominated by his brothers and won the vote by a large margin. Jon did his duty and assumed the position of Lord Commander.

Jon remained in close communication with his brother, visiting often and conferring on matters of defense against raiders. Cregan sent Jon many men, both highborn hopefuls and common criminals. Jon ran the Night's Watch with a measured but strong hand and the Watch grew strong under his guidance with hundreds of experienced and trained men with plentiful provisions and supplies from his brother. Lord Commander Jon remains stalwart at the Wall and collaborates with his brother on a plan to settle the Gift with newly raised Lords to serve as a second line of defense. And though he is not a superstitious man, Jon does his duty and watches for any sign of the Watch's ancient enemy.

Name: Brandon Stark

Age: 25

House/Affiliation: Stark

Appearance: Brandon is a comely young man with the best of his mother and father in him. He is tall, at a height with his father and has a well muscled form built by countless hours training in combat. Brandon has no grey hairs or any scars, he is often jokingly called the Pretty Wolf by other young Starks.

Biography: Brandon is Cregan's heir and is the favorite son of the Old Man of Winterfell. He has all the skill of his father and all the wit of his mother. Brandon was nowhere near the wild youth that his father was growing up but he took to combat, hunting, and riding as well as Cregan did. He was never too interested in scholarly pursuits and though he was quite fond of the young women of the North he did not pursue women the way his father had. Brandon's primary interests were the business of battle and ruling, and he was thoroughly schooled in both by his father.

He was a natural talent with any blade or blunt weapon and sat in on many of his father's councils with his bannermen. Brandon showed a natural talent for leading, displaying a charisma that drew many to his side as devoted friends and followers. Brandon was never an arrogant or cocksure man but he exuded all the confidence that his father had. Brandon was the perfect heir to Winterfell and a strong Lord in the making. Brandon got along well with his cousins and his sister Alys, particularly with his cousin Sansa, but there had always been something of a rivalry between Brandon and his brother Jorah. They had never hated each other but the brothers were extremely competitive, trying to best each other at everything from fighting to riding to archery and even fishing. Though they conflict often, the two brothers care for each other fiercely.

After the Dance and when Ironborn began raiding the North, Brandon refused to remain at home and successfully persuaded his father to allow him to join Sansa's mounted force, the two would work together to lead them. Brandon had not been pleased with being left behind when Cregan rode south and would not stand by idle now when his home was threatened. Many bannermen's sons, distant relatives, and sworn swords to the Starks saw their chance and joined as Brandon's personal guard. In the end a four hundred man force was created made of expert trackers, scouts, archers, and fighters whose responsibility was to defeat and kill the Ironborn anywhere they landed in the North to reave and rape. Brandon leads them along with Sansa when he isn't required at court and already the two Starks have acquired glory in battle and the love of their men and the commoners. Brandon remains unwed as his father demands the crown to honor their vow to marry a dragon princess to him.

Brandon and Sansa are currently on Bear Island, in House Mormont's holdings, helping them defend against the Ironborn. Brandon is frustrated that the North has no means in which to strike back at the Reavers for their transgressions, for the North has no fleet but he vows to find a way to acquire enough ships, and build a strong enough force that they can stop the Ironborn from raiding his home.

Name: Alys Stark

Age: 17

House/Affiliation: Stark

Appearance: Alys was always a beautiful girl but was much like her mother was never too fastidious in her appearance. She is well-groomed but doesn't accentuate her beauty with jewels or ostentatious dresses, she lets it speak for itself. Alys stands at 5'6 and has a full figured build.

Biography: Alys is the youngest child of Cregan Stark and Mira Bolton and was raised since birth to be a strong northern noble lady. She never knew real hardship but was taught to survive in the wild and ride a horse like any man. She knew her history as well as either of her siblings, better even, and was more the artist than her mother ever was. Alys took quickly to needlework and the lute and is renowned for her singing, dancing, and quality material dresses. Alys was much like her mother and was never invested in legends of beautiful princesses and handsome knights, she always knew that ruling was much harsher than that and she was groomed to be a practical woman.

Alys never considered herself a fighter like her brothers or her cousin Sansa but was always known to outwit them in games of words and cunning, much like her mother. Mira taught her daughter how to read people and see how they actually feel and what they think, and use that information for her own benefit and the benefit of the family. Like all the Starks, Alys was raised with a strong commitment to the House and she knew that she would do anything to help House Stark, even if it might be dishonorable. Brandon and Jorah may have wanted to fight in the open with swords but Alys was taught that the most important battles were often fought over dinner with words.

After the Dance, Alys remains at home in Winterfell with her parents. Her father began to elicit suitors for his daughter and there are many but none that have caught Alys' eye. She had never been much enamored with men unlike her peers and she doesn't think it likely she will start now. With her cousins and brothers all fighting for the future of the North and the Starks, Alys is determined to do her own part and forge a strong alliance with a strong house to support the family.

Name: Jorah Stark

Age: 21

House/Affiliation: Stark

Appearance: Jorah is not as handsome or as tall as his brother but has all the lean strength and confidence of movement. He recently sheared his hair very close to his head and watches the world with calm icy blue eyes. Jorah stands at 5'8 and is often seen in armor.

Biography: Jorah is the second son of Cregan Stark and felt the position keenly his whole life. He was always loved by his parents but could never be the favorite like Brandon was. Jorah always had to work a little harder, try a little more to get his father to praise him as much as he did Brandon. Despite this, he loves his family and would do anything to protect them. Jorah was raised to be a loyal brother to Brandon, destined to rule a holdfast someday in his name and support his brother in his pursuits. Jorah was resigned to this but thirsted for a way to prove his worth to Cregan and the family.

Jorah was a skilled fighter but could never be as good as Brandon, who was a natural and would one day hold Ice for himself. The two brothers competed constantly and sparred many times, Brandon getting the better of his younger brother more often than not. The younger brother feared that he would grow older and become useless, become forgotten and remain in his brother's shadow all his life. He did not blame Brandon for this but was something of a sulky youth, having few friends besides his family and always training in his spare time.

Finally Cregan saw fight to bring his spare son south with him to fight in the Dance. He did not want to risk Brandon in battle and Jorah was ecstatic for the chance to prove himself to his father. Unfortunately he never saw combat and the war ended before he could ever even see the enemy. However he was entrusted with two thousand men and charged to act as the voice of House Stark in the capital, and lobby the Iron Throne for favors and considerations for their support. Jorah was not a natural ruler like Brandon or a wordsmith like Alys but took to the task with a determination to do it well. He kept his men in line and was able to keep from making any serious blunders in the capital. He has a heavy responsibility in King's Landing and he will do everything in his power to succeed for his family.

Name: Theon Stark

Age: 23

House/Affiliation: Stark

Appearance: Theon is about as tall as his uncle and older cousin and has a scholarly cast to his features. He is a gentle and thoughtful looking man but with the same athletic build as any of his male relatives. Theon does not care much for his appearance but keeps his beard and hair neat.

Biography: Theon grew up in a holdfast to Lord Cregan's younger brother Rickard and his wife Jeyne Manderly. He does not remember much of these early years however because a fever took his parents when he was only four. The holdfast was given to a cousin of Lord Cregan and Theon and his sister Sansa were brought to Winterfell. Theon was a shy boy at first but grew to love his family quickly, he has many fond memories of his time growing up in Winterfell. Theon has never returned to his father's keep, not willing to endure the pall of death. He considers Winterfell his real home.

Theon was a studious boy, soaking in histories of war and conquest and stratagems of long ago generals. He fought and rode well enough but could never quite match his cousins in skill of arms. Instead his real talent was in strategy and tactics. He studied many battles and Cregan saw that his nephew had a sound mind for formulating battle plans. Cregan taught his sons and Theon everything he knew of leading men in battle whether it was on a field or in a siege. Theon grew to be very loyal to the family and it was obvious that he would serve the house well.

When Cregan rode south with Jorah he charged Theon with the lordship of Moat Cailin. He was to command over a thousand men and man the keep, rebuilding the fortifications and holding the Neck against any southern armies that would attack the North. Theon left Winterfell with many of Cregan's relations, second cousins of House Stark or Karstark, and many Bolton men as well. Theon got to work and Moat Cailin is in the best repair it has been for centuries, though the work is far from finished. He kept his men in line and Moat Cailin stands strong, ready to throw back any invading army as it has for thousands of years. Even though the Dance is over the tension in the realm isn't and Theon has no intention of letting any hostile host pass into the North.

Name: Sansa Stark

Age: 20

Appearance: Sansa is beautiful but it is often hard to tell, she cut her hair to look like a man's and she is almost always seen in riding leathers or armor that conceals her form. She is 5'7 with an athletic build and takes even less care to her appearance then the rest of her family. Sansa has little interest in seeming presentable and is more concerned with being practical and comfortable.

Biography: Sansa was only a baby when her parents died and she has even less memory of her parents than her brother Theon. She effectively grew up in Winterfell and was very close with her relatives, she grew to love the castle deeply and she was the happiest when in Winterfell with her family close at hand. Theon was very protective of her and tried his best to keep her out of trouble, with moderate success. Unlike Alys, Sansa had more interest in boys but none of them impressed her. She spent a lot of time around servants and castle guards and matured at an early age, Sansa was particularly favored for her fun-loving demeanor and sometimes crass attitude.

Sansa rode horses even better than her cousin Brandon did and Cregan said that he had seen no finer archer. She brought many fresh kills home to Winterfell and became just as skilled as her cousins in combat, though she relied more on speed and agility than strength. She was the only girl to spar and had to prove herself to the young boys, she beat them all more than once and even managed to get the best of Brandon in one fight though she never did again. Her uncle and aunt loved her like another daughter and Alys thought of her like an older sister.

Sansa remained at home when Cregan, Jorah, and Theon left though her uncle told her it was less to protect Sansa and more so that she could keep an eye out for Brandon and Alys. After Cregan returned home and Ironborn started raiding the other kingdoms, Sansa asked her uncle for leave to fight back. He relented and Sansa and Brandon formed an elite mounted company to respond to any Ironborn incursion. The two of them rode with many skilled warriors and saved many villages from attack.

Sansa killed her first man with an arrow right between the eyes and killed many after that. Eventually her men started calling her the She-Wolf and she was beloved of the commoners and the fighting men. She returns on occasion to Winterfell for a week or two at a time before riding off again with Brandon. The pair have done an admirable job but they have no means in which to strike back at the Ironborn with next to no naval power. Sansa and Brandon are currently on Bear Island, helping the Mormonts defend themselves.

Name: Ethan Stone

Appearance: Stands at 5'11, is well-proportioned. Black hair and brown eyes.

Biography:
Ethan was raised in Gulltown, the bastard son of a minor noble hardly worth mentioning. His mother was a chambermaid, and when she discovered she was pregnant she went to live with her parents in their inn. Ethan grew up to be a healthy and quick-witted lad, prone to fights with the other children when they taunted his bastardry. He adored tales of heroic knight and clever heroes, and so when a Hedge Knight visited their inn Ethan immediately begged to squire for him. The Hedge Knight, Ser Darris Strickland, quickly took a liking to the lad and agreed on the condition of his mother's approval. And so Ethan Stone became a squire to Ser Darris Strickland.

Ser Darris proved to be one of the rare chivalrous Hedge Knights. Under his careful tutelage, combined with a natural talent for swordplay, Ethan soon was acknowledged as a prodigious swordsman. He and Ser Darris traveled all across Westeros, visiting every major city and most of the minor ones. Over their many stays at taverns and inns, Ethan developed a fascination with music and counted himself a fair singer. When he was sixteen, he made the trip with his mentor across the Narrow Sea to Volantis, where they came under the employ of a wealthy merchant-prince. Ethan was disgusted by the practice of slavery, but was placated by Ser Darris. They stayed in Volantis for two years, with Ethan continuing to develop his swordsmanship until an assassination attempt on their employer resulted in Ser Darris taking a mortal wound. Bereft and helpless with grief, Ethan left Volantis and traveled across the free cities for a year, eventually arriving in Braavos.

There, he met the renowned swordsman Bellaquo Vogaris, who took Ethan as a student. For four years Ethan learned the Braavosi Water Dance style from Bellaquo, adapting it to the Westerosi teachings of his former mentor Ser Darris. Over time, Ethan came to love Bellaquo as much as he had Ser Darris, and Bellaquo named him the most promising and beloved of all his students. Braavos became as much a home to Ethan as Gulltown had been, and he entertained thoughts of living there permanently. However, when Bellaquo was being considered for the position of First Sword of Braavos after the previous one passed, he was poisoned and died after three nights of agony. Once again left without a mentor and consumed by grief, Ethan decided to return to Westeros. He arrived just as the Dance of the Dragons began, and met the Stark host along the road. He has been serving them as a loyal man-at-arms ever since.

An emotionally weary man, Ethan is slow to trust and chronic cynic. When earned his friendship is absolute. He holds his personal ideals of honor close to his heart, but recently has become somewhat disillusioned with them. He loves music and art but disdains those with religious undertones, as he no longer follows the Faith of the Seven. Ethan is an excellent swordsman and has a watchful eye, though he is not the most cunning of men; his approaches to most problems are often straightforward.
