Kaiser can inscribe runes, characters of ancient scripts, into the material plane and infuse them with the power of Aethr to create various magical effects, depending on the rune created. Each rune has its own unique effects, but Kaiser specializes in runes of the eldritch type, using dark, mysterious magic to ensure his quarry's capture.

Think I finally decided to do a shaper - but I have a question. I apologize if this has already been answered, but I didn't see it anywhere.

but is there like, a set thing for any sort of spirits? Or can they literally be almost anything from eldritch horrors, or are they based more on mythology and things like that?

I suppose I'm asking since I kinda have no idea how a shapers ability would work. Well, I mean, I know how it'd work, I just don't really know how to write it out if I don't have some sort of idea as to what they are, I guess.

I mean from what I read in the description the abilities are pretty much open to whatever you can imagine, and the only downside is what happens to the mind and body thanks to the power flowing through the person. Specifically I'm thinking about the ability to effect the physical world with willpower(telekinesis(basically)).

That is kind of leaning into a geomancer's realm, the Aethrmancer is way more supernatural than silly telekinesis, no, they shift the universe, explode the molecules around them, all while killing themselves slowly. They are your typical black mage. All while being the least typical because you choose the spells!

WIP I'll try to get the rest of this finished sometime later today.
Also let me know if the first ability I picked works well for an aethermancer

Delete sphere Jimmy can create spheres of blackness, up the size of a beach ball, which, when detonated, removes anything inside(matter, energy, and some types of magic) from existence. These deletion spheres can be fired from hands with single shots or rapidly like an automatic weapon, or If Jimmy has enough time to stand still and focus, he can bring a sphere into creation right over his target. Jimmy can choose when a deletion sphere is activated, or set up a sphere to detonate after a certain amount of time/ distance has passed. A sphere that isn't activated acts like a regular projectile. The smaller spheres, about the size of .22 bullets, can easily exceed speeds over a hundred miles per hour, and the larger ones, the beach ball sized ones, can move up to forty mph.

Personality: ITs not difficult to talk with Jimmy as he's open with people and has an easy time being empathetic with others, or at least that's the impression he gives off. Don't be fooled though Santiago at heart is an introvert, and keeps the majority of himself hidden. Too much time with others drains him, and makes him irritable. He's a strange combination of idealism and practicality. He's also extremely emotional but tries to control this problem by resorting to the strictest forms of logic he can manage. He prefers the company of animals and loves to read and write.

@malmshodes That works exceptionally well, however, I do have a little suggestion, if you don't mind. If the delete sphere manages to warp the object, instead of being removed from existence, how about they are absorbed as Aethr?

Welp, it seems I lied.

I dunno what my problem is. Usually its fairly easy for me to come up with a character for something.

But for some reason, I keep drawing blanks when it comes to this.

I think I have some solid ideas, but its like...I dunno, I'm not satisfied with any of them for either Shaper or Soulsmith. If I can't come up with anything soon, I might just have to drop, I suppose, V_V

I'm going to have to hold off with starting this off for a while, I haven't had the time to get much done at all, sorry, guys.
