Quick question: Would Ka-Vara only be able to harvest herbs for alchemical use, or would he still be able to take ingredients from things that drop them in normal TES games*?

*E.g. Falmer ears from falmer, Giant's toes from giants, or Briar hearts from forsworn briar hearts.

Pretty much from a TES mechanic. If you character wants to cut out a troll heart or a Saber cat tooth, have at it.

The answer is yes... BUT do not let a guard, soldier, or anyone with any kind of moral fibre or obligation see you do so...
