Title: The Shadow of Barad-dûr
A large group of Orc raiders had been attacking small settlements out in the Lone Lands, laying waste and completely destroying all that they touched and were growing bolder with everyday that passed. They grew to the point of where they were becoming a threat to Breeland as well. A human man, one that is a well known mercenary of Bree only known as Raven had been approached by the towns mayor, informing him of the news that came from the south. The mayor pleaded with him, asking him to gather his fellow mercenaries and friends that he knew to eliminate the threat before more innocents were slaughtered. After forming a deal, Raven agreed to the contract and quickly contacted all of his fellow mercenaries and his friends that he knew he could trust with such a delicate assignment. The group he formed hunted down the Orcs for two days before finely locating them, and ultimately eliminating them after a day of ruthless, bloody combat. Ravens group that is made up of all major races upon Middle-Earth will meetup outside of Bree Town in the festival grounds to celebrate their success and victory over the elimination of the Orcs and their leader Gazgrim. Many people from not only the town but also the land of Bree have come to join in with the celebrations by bringing food, drink, entertainment and more. The sun has finely set and with it, a cool night has fallen across the land. The sky is clear and crisp, the tables and decorations are set up, the food and drink is ready, and music fills the air with the sounds of celebration. Tonight would be a night that would never be forgotten, for more than celebration was in the air and this is where our story begins.
My character is Raven, he is a human ranger. (More details about that on my CS coming up soon)
