@BeanieBaggie If you want, we can come up with a reason why my character might have a package delivered. Traveling anonymously, unattached from others, he could use a good reason to latch onto the group. Figuring out the origin of this mysterious delivery could be the perfect excuse.

Hahaha. That would be the most anticlimactic discovery ever. Youngest Brother would start to get all paranoid, wondering who was following him and keeping track of his things. He'd be FORCED to keep an eye on Freya just to make sure she didn't know something she shouldn't know. Turns out it was just a random act of kindness.

Make it even better, have it be something incredibly personal to him.

He figured the innkeeper would just throw it away if he left it behind, but they actually took a shine to him and decided to send another patron after him. They remembered that he'd asked for directions to the Stone of Nine, and seeing that Freya was headed in the same direction, gave the job to her. Naturally, a normal innkeeper would think it was some kind of bizarre adventuring tool, but Youngest Brother thinks they know that he was practicing magic.

Yep. It's still in the infant stages though. The first companion/adventure modules just got released this month so you're not that much out of the loop. The Basic Rules are free to download off the Wizard's main site. 3.5 was good. Hell, I still flit between Pathfinder and 5e. Both are good for different things.

Ha, just noticed that I appear to be the old man of the group so far, besides the dwarf but apparently he's only 16 mentally? Gonna be stuck babysitting a bunch of kids.......

@Zurnt@BeanieBaggie if you 2 should look at the bottom of my CS biography, you'll notice that Dylante has been contracted to deliver a package himself. Now, this is entirely coincidental I did edit my CS to change a few minor details and errors but that part was in the original. So, there's your hook-in. You head to the inn and deliver the package to the owner and then that's where I come in. :D

May I ask if there is an inn around the town of Oakheim and what the name is? If not then, at our GM @calmgale's discretion, may I add one by the name of the Drawstring to the town so everyone has a point of reference as to where they are to end up?

The drawing is easier for me. It's the writing that's snagging me. I love writing posts. I never know what to write for character sheets.

Mm. I try to leave my descriptions just vague enough to leave me able to get creative, but strict enough to let me in and not leave everyone in the dark.

I can't speak for the GM, but if you're drawing your guy/gal/whatever, I think it'd be ok to write it as best you can, even if your best isnt up to par. I mean, a picture's worth a thousand words, yea?
