*Loki walks practically stomping but his feline movements don't particularly allow for that his backpack seems slung over his shoulder without care and he is uncomfortable since crowded spaces make him feel similar to that of a caged animal leaving a particularly unamused expression on his face...the uniform is making it worse since it has colors and he prefers black. His hands betray his distaste somewhat as they are curled into loose fists at his sides.*

Nova looked up to the voice coming from the announcement. "OH, it would seem like its my turn" she said, picking up her stuff and walking towards this 'B room' waiting outside.

Testing room A would be divided into two sections, with a retractable wall in the center that could be passed through using a door at one end. In the first section, where students would enter into, an older woman in violet robes sat behind a desk featuring a crystal ball at the center.

"Please sit down, Ms. Starling. We will begin with reading your abilities. Just place your hand on the orb, if you please."

Gesturing at the chair in front of the desk, the woman spoke in a calm tome, with a voice that held a certain heaviness to it. Almost as if waiting for something important.

"I'm sure you can see for yourself what it is?"

Testing room B had a very similar layout to room A. The person at the desk, however, was a heavily covered figure in blue robes. Using similar greetings and instructions conveyed in a lighter tone, though deeper voice, they invited the girl to find her own abilities as well.

"After this, we will be conducting a reading for possible future paths."

*Loki seems to be in a statue like state waiting for his name to be called his sunglasses are most likely not part of uniform but his level of caring is low on that point*

Megan nodded then sat down, placing her hand on the orb. She stared at the orb with some intent, wanting to see how accurate this orb could be. "How long will this take?" she queried, wanting to check out the dorm and her room. Actually more of she wanted to mark out 'her' section of the room she would be staying. She rolled her eyes and looked into the orb. She saw herself and fire, the flames wrapping around her and dancing on her shoulders and around her. Megan recognised this was her power. "My fire..." She spoke softly as she stared at the beautiful flames flickering in the orb.

*Loki is holding back his distaste for the small area crowded with students as he waits for his name. He doesn't care much for the idea of the dorms since he has always preferred sleeping in trees. Honestly he is mostly just here because his adoptive father decided that loki had to come here since he was too much to handle*

*Loki continues waiting his patience wearing thin he inhales deeply through his nose catching various scents but not memorizing any since he feels no need to. He starts breathing through his mouth as the scents become somewhat overwhelming*

Noel was surprised it seemed this wasn't your everyday chick. No, she was a candy mobster she had to be. She couldn't be anything else he overreacted pushing the situation a little to far. Though this is something you'd expect from someone who's as crazy about sweets as himself. "Since I'm in a happy mood." He smiles looking at Cicile not knowing he did so and then looked back at the female candy mobster that stood before him. "You can have some for free!" He exclaimed reaching through his pockets retrieving 5 of the delectable pieces of candy and held out his hand waiting for her to do the same so he can give her the candy. Noel had lots of candy so giving away 5 wasn't as painful. While his negotiation was about to end he heard the announcement and smiled. "Finally! The first day begins! Now.....well not for us just yet but it begins!"

*Loki gets more overwhelmed and starts pacing his strides are feline in grace but his attitude shows how uncomfortable and out of his element he is. His hands remain clenched at his side along with his jaw being clenched.* Why did I do this to myself... I could have run away or something but instead I went along with this... Too many people here *He stops pacing trying to gather himself together his jaw still clenched as he stands there*

Figuring that it'd take a while for his test to come, Atticus just leaned up against a wall once more, netting his fingers and holding his hands behind his neck. Humming softly to himself, he just started people-watching. Not like he had anything else to die, aside from memorize the shape of bird shit on his uniform. Rhythmically tapping his foot, he just sorta watched people do their things. Looked like a few were...giving out candy. Or something. Not wanting to be a creep, he let the sleeping dogs with candy in their mouths lie, and started watching a guy with sunglasses on...for some reason pace around. Guy looked tense for some reason. Maybe he was just scared of the test? They said there'd be a blood test, right? Oh god...needles. A chill went up Atticus' spine, but he figured that socializing was better than humming to himself like a weirdo. Approaching the now-not-pacing-sunglasses-guy, he asked: "So, uh...you nervous about this test thing too? not really looking the guy in the eye. Well, glasses.

*Loki flinches not expecting to be talked to or noticed... He then shakes his head* "no I'm more nervous about being surrounded by people *Loki seems a bit socially awkward* "I'm Loki" *figuring he should introduce himself at least he doesn't hold at his hand nor does he look this guy in the eye either* I can do this... I can talk to people... besides I may need a friend later

Atticus nods at the guy's statement about being nervous around people. Megan mentioned something like that, but he supposed he was just used to people being everywhere in the woodwork, being from a city and all. Extending his hand to Loki, he said: "I'm Atticus. Nice to meet ya." rather simply, before asking: "So, what's with the shades? It's kinda dim in here." genuinely curious about why he was bothering to wear sunglasses. Not like someone was using a blowtorch in here.

*Loki looks at the hand for a moment before shaking it then shrugging* "I like the illusion of normalcy... My sunglasses are like a safety blanket I guess" *Sounds awkward while he tries to explain it without fully giving away why he wears them... considering he is trying to be friends with Atticus he doesn't want to expose he weird eyes yet*

Atticus nods in understanding as Loki speaks. Yup. People sure were weird here. Smiling a little, he looked over to the testing rooms and hummed. "...Well, they sure are taking a while for these tests...you think there's a physical too?" he asks, placing his hands in the pockets of his pants, really hoping that he didn't reek of bird dook. "Wonder if they offer cleaning here...might be able to scrounge enough change to get this bloody stain off..." he thought to himself.

*Loki gives a shrug and actually smiles at Atticus* "Why does that make you nervous" *He can smell the bird poop since his senses are enhanced but he ignores it figuring that Attiicus was embarrassed about it and pointing it out would make it worse.. deciding to be nice for once in his own way*

The whole campus amazed her. Stoneworks only masters of the masters would have been able to chisel, trees of unknown species, short trimmed grass, dense hedges. Most of the other students were taller than her, making it difficulty to properly observe her surroundings, but she caught glimpses. She wondered how long it took to fashion the stone benches she saw outside, let alone making the ground so smooth, and the grand staircase. Perhaps it took generations, master masons passing down the work to their successors. She wished she could see the construction effort, untold wealth must have been spent on the school. Once the mass of students had shuffled their way into the Main Hall, Sophon taking special care of her large hiking backpack. Most of the other students had backpacks of their own, some had duffel bags, various forms of luggage. The students wore a great variety of clothing, some had jackets, others only shirts. For Sophon, she wore a black pull over hoodie, stitched with navy blue, forming a diamond pattern over her torso. The left sleeve pinned up against her shoulder, and her right sleeve pulled up slightly, revealing the slightest bit of skin. Over her right hand was a light grey leather glove, her left hand noticeably missing along with half her left arm. Tied around her neck was a white and black patterned shemagh, with a white hairband over her hair. She wore navy blue military BDU pants, with black kneepads strapped over her knees. Her feet were covered by black steel toed combat boots, with the pant legs tucked into the boots. Her right boot had a knife holster, with a knife strapped to it. She then heard a loud voice.

"Attention, all new students. Your attention, please. We would like to welcome all of you to Magicana High School. In case anyone has not already heard the instructions, we will be starting our beginning tests shortly. When your name is called, please report to room A, B, or C as instructed. We will be performing an anticipation test for your potential here in both ability and likely future as well as a brief health examination to make sure that all students are fit to participate in the school's activities. We will be conducting a blood test as part of this examination, so please let us know if there are any concerns before we begin. Please leave all belongings in the main hall when you are called. We assure you that all items will be perfectly safe and shall be transported to your lodging following the examinations. Thank you, and please listen carefully for your name to be called."

After that she tuned out. She was more interested in something else, she saw a tall fellow with a head of striking blue hair. More importantly, he was tall. She shuffled her way past students and made her way towards the tall man. Once she appeared in the tall mans vision, she pointed at him with her right arm. "You! You're tall! Can you tell me what the trees are like?" She asked excitedly, after closely looking at him, she spoke up again, "Wow, you are really tall." She concluded looking up at his face, she began to examine him, looking over his entire body. "Where I come from people aren't as tall as you, where do you come from?" She questioned with a face of wonder.

*Loki hears the girl and looks at her irritated that she interrupted his conversation with Atticus he is glaring at her but thats probably not visible because of the sunglasses...he is holding back a growl and manages to ignore her even though she isn't talking to him*

"Look into the orb. You should feel it when it appears...the manifestation of your power..." The hooded figure raised their hands above the orb, muttering something under their breath in a low tone. The orb began to glow slightly, though the light faded quickly and left the glossy surface clear enough to see to the center.

"Do you see it? Your power?"

"Very good. You have a very impressive power. It's potential is great, and fire by nature is recognized as something powerful even as a small flame. Many see it as a major destructive force, but there is no denying its benefits to humans and non-humans alike across history. Even a destructive blaze could at one point be a healing warmth, they say."

"Remember that with your power, it is up to the user to decide what kind of force it shall be. Do not let your power define you, be the one to define your power."

With the small speech completed, the violet-robed figure gave a small nod and turned back to the orb. "Now, we shall read what paths the future has invited you to..." Raising both hands above the orb, the figure whispered a few words and set the sphere aglow. After a few seconds, however, the glow died down and the figure went silent for several more seconds.

"...My, my. It seems that you have been invited to quite a grand destiny, young one." The voice spoke again in a quiet, almost awed tone.

"You have quite a future ahead of you, young hero."

After a few minutes, the voice from before projected across the hall once more to call on a single name.

"Atticus Haywood, please report to room C for testing. Atticus Haywood to room C."

Shrugging, Atticus answered Loki simply with: "Kinda. Never had a doctor poke around all over me. Do they really do that thing where they take their thumb and stick it up your-" he stopped as a girl he'd never met before suddenly commented on his height. Somewhat unnerved by how curious the one-armed girl was about his height, he responded simply with: "L-London, I'm from London. It's err..." pausing for a moment, he thought about it, and the fact that this conversation might go better places than where a prostate exam takes place. Not wanting to leave Loki out, he asked: "Say, where you from Loki?", genuinely curious.

Once he'd gotten his answer, he'd nod and introduce himself to the one armed girl. "Name's Atticus. What's your's?" he'd say, before perking up, hearing his name be called to room C. Having the decency to wait for the girl's answer, he'd move to go to the testing room, saying: "Well, I'll be back once this is all over. Good luck on your test guys." as he stepped forward, walking at a brisk pace to get in there and ask the examiner a very important question.

"D-Does the campus have a laundromat somewhere? I uh...got something on my uniform?"
