It began to feel awkward between Cicile and Noel. They just stood in front of each other and didn't say anything. Both of them were blushing. Cicile thought about things to say but then a girl approached them. She said something about a business offer. Cicile looked at the girl a little confused she had no idea were the girl spoke of. She looked at Noel and saw that he took the girl serious. On one hand Cicile was happy that the girl came but on the other hand she was a little sad that the conversation between her and Noel had ended.

Megan huffed then stomped away from Wraith, glaring at the ground. "Fine then, ignore me you stupid a-" She then walked into Atticus. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" She snapped looking up. To Megan's surprise, this guy was actually taller than her. She felt a bit uneasy about this since not that many people were taller.
Megan began to look him over. "You...are taller than me." She spoke, sounding surprised.

Stumbling a little as someone walked into him, he looked down at the short, pale girl that had pretty much walked into him. Staring at her for a moment as she realized that he was taller than her, he says: "Yeah. I noticed." with a semi-sarcastic tone. Looking around exepctantly, he nodded as he saw that there were indeed tons of students here. "This is the right hall, right? The one where we get called up and all that?" he asked as he looked at a piece of paper he pulled from his pocket. A crudely drawn map was on it, along with the time of the general assembly.

"Yeah it's the right place. A little too crowded if you ask me though." Megan shrugged, avoiding eye contact with the giant person. God how she hated to talk to people but if she was gonna survive here then she'd have make allies, not enemies. She cleared her throat slightly then spoke, her voice sounding a bit strained and awkward, "I'm Megan Starling. Ya know, like the bird starling?" She looked up at him slightly.

"Yeah, I know 'em. The little brown ones with the orange bellies, right?" he said, pretty sure that's what Ma called them before. Or maybe those were robins. He never really cared to memorize birds, not like they weren't trying to steal whatever they could off the floor anyways. Tearing his mind from thoughts of birds trying to eat his hard-earned loaf of bread, he says: "Name's Atticus. Last name's Haywood. Nice to meet ya Megan."with a slight smile on his face. "Oh yeah, are you alright? Didn't hurt nothin' when you bumped into me?" he asked with a genuine bit of concern.

Megan mentally facepalmed when he had named the wrong bird. She was also quite taken back by him asking if she was alright. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm just not used to being surrounded by so many..." She glared at the surrounding people as she said that last part. Megan looked back at Atticus. She needed to say something to keep the conversation going. "So uh...how are you?" she asked awkwardly. 'Nice going. You're probably scaring him away you pale ass idiot' she thought looking up at him.

Megan glanced back at Wraith then looked back to Atticus. Ignoring his apology completely. Once she had made her mind up over something, very little could change her decision or view and she had decided that it would be a waste of time to talk to Wraith.

@Im a huge messwraith laughed at the girl"funny how you ignore someone when you hate it"he said as he brought his arm straight up in a L pattern, a small piece of orange, sweet candy jumped out and into him Palm, which he used to catapult the candy into his mouth,"Even I don't pull that card, so you're low in the ground my friend"

Megan glared at Wraith. "What did you just say?!?" This guy was getting on her nerves, which was never good since when Megan was mad then she had a tendency to burn things down. A lot of things. She glared at him as she looked down at him. She stepped closer to Wraith, glaring down at him. She enjoyed being taller than a lot of people since that made her feel more powerful.

Wraith laughed at her response"got stones in your ears? I said that you've sunk rather low to pull a trick that even I don't"he said as he swallowed the candy"regardless though, I honestly spaced out when you first walked up so I apologize for it"

Megan took a deep breath and walked towards the exit. How this person was talking to her and the crowded atmosphere of the room was really getting her. So she needed to blow off some steam, and by steam I mean fire. She walked as far as she could before hurling fireballs at random objects. Consequently setting them alight. She knows that she'll get in trouble for this later on but for now she just felt like burning and destroying as many things as she could.

@Im a huge messwraith gave up and took out his phone and some headphones, he simply had 3 songs! one for mischievous times. Another for boredom and another for no reason, he listened to broken by seether, for a few minutes this song took him away from reality.

Jack heard an explosion through is headphones, which was impressive considering the quality of them,"what the heck?" He lowered them down to his neck and stuffed his phone in his pocket and made headway towards the explosions,

When he arrived he saw the girl from before, centered around only god knows how much fire<well this is a blaze of glory if ever I've seen one>, he walked up to her without regard of the flames,"what the heck happened, are you ok?" He asked with out knowing the flames were her doing.

Megan looked at him, the flames going larger as she recognised him. She appeared a lot calmer than she should be considering the fact that she had just set alight enough stuff for the whole school to catch fire. Then again, since she had control over the flames so she could extinguish them whenever she wanted. "Yeah I'm fine. Why do you want to know." She asked in a rather rhetorical way.

"I can control the flames you dummy.That's my "special" power. Creating and controlling fire." Megan had a straight face the whole time. She begun to walk away from all the destruction she caused, the flames growing smaller until they ultimately extinguished as she walked away. She walked back to the hall and looked around for Atticus so that she could finish their conversation.

She eventually spotted him and walked over to him. "Sorry, I just needed to get out of this friggin hell hole." She looked up at him once again. Megan didn't actually mind this guys tallness, it made her feel normal height and he might come in use if she needed someone to hide behind.

The shorter girl nodded, honestly a bit impressed by how quickly he had shaped up when called upon. "Very good. I will try to be brief, then."

Straightening up just a little bit more - professional negotiations called for professional appearances, after all - she looked him straight in the eye as she delivered her demand. "The limited edition flavor of Raspberry Chocolate Pikki. You have it? Name your price."

"Attention, all new students. Your attention, please."

The authoritative voice projected across the busy hall paused for a moment as if to wait for the din to quiet down a bit before continuing.

"We would like to welcome all of you to Magicana High School. In case anyone has not already heard the instructions, we will be starting our beginning tests shortly. When your name is called, please report to room A, B, or C as instructed. We will be performing an anticipation test for your potential here in both ability and likely future as well as a brief health examination to make sure that all students are fit to participate in the school's activities. We will be conducting a blood test as part of this examination, so please let us know if there are any concerns before we begin."

"Please leave all belongings in the main hall when you are called. We assure you that all items will be perfectly safe and shall be transported to your lodging following the examinations. Thank you, and please listen carefully for your name to be called. We will be beginning with..."

The projected voice then proceeded to list names of students in small groups, giving the letter of room A, B, or C after for them to report to. As soon as each student had completed their tests, a new group of names would be called for testing.

A whole lot of remaining silent was what Atticus was doing, pretty sure that he wasn't the person to interfere with...what? A lover's quarrel? Maybe? He didn't really know. For all he knew the two were friends or something. Was it something he said? Breathing onto his hand, he smelled his breath and winced slightly. Maybe it was his breath. Sighing, he just opted to keep on waiting, crossing his hands over the back of his head and leaning against a wall.

A bit surprised that Megan came back to talk to him, he waved slightly with his left hand, keeping the right behind his head. "Well, it's not THAT bad here. I just don't like that there's pigeons. So, what was that all about? You two friends or somethin'?" he asked rather bluntly, not exactly being the best with manners.

Crossing his arms, Atticus waited, really, really hoping there weren't going to be any sort of Algebraic tests. He knew a bit of English and history just from reading the paper. Well, modern history. But he barely knew basic arithmetic. On a good day he knew his times tables up to 12. Once it was Megan's turn, he'd wish her good luck.

"Megan Starling, room A; Nova Terra, room B; and Mia O'Neil, room C, please."

The projected voice continued calling out names slowly, pausing for a few minutes in between groups as before. As the other students exited the rooms between announcements, many mixed reactions to the tests became apparent, ranging from excited to somewhat disappointed and even relieved. If it wasn't one result that became of interest to them, it was another.

"He's not my friend and if the pigeons are really bugging you that much I will roast them for you." Megan looked up at Atticus then looked in the direction that the voice saying where the students needed to go came from. She then picked up her bags when she was called and she put them in the main hall. She walked into room A and looked around the room.
