Don't worry about it, you won't be bothering anyone, I think, so long as your posts are interesting! I feel like mine can get longwinded and have a bit too much exposition, so really anything is good! Remember, this roleplay is casual AND advanced, if I'm not mistaken, so nothing too short and you'll have no problems.

Appearance: Charlotte could be described as nothing less than attractive to most. Her long curly brown hair borders her gentle, welcoming face. Her body is slender, more from many missed dinners and meager breakfasts than from exercise. She has a few faded scars on her shoulders and legs from the car accident, but nothing compared to the loss of her left arm, a mechanical prosthetic in it's place.
Born as a city girl, Charlotte grew up in downtown New York city after moving from Ireland She was raised in a wealthy family who lived up in a modern highrise. She led a fairly normal childhood, excelling in her schooling and finishing public school with stellar grades. Moving into high school, she continued with her stellar grades, often found in the library studying up on her courses, all at the most advanced level of course. She didn’t have much of a social life because of this and was often taunted for being a show off and a nerd. She graduated with next to perfect grades and left the town and her past behind.
Moving down to Massachusetts, she bought herself a small condo and interviewed for a few part time jobs to help pay for school and necessities, eventually getting in at a local coffee shop. She started her schooling at MIT the following year, studying for her doctorate, along with Neuroscience on the side.
Though she ended up being quite successful in her education, the high work loads and intensity of the classes took a toll on her and she often had complete mental breakdowns while studying. To add to her stress, she had a few falling outs with close friends and a boyfriend who had left her midterm for some pretty little blonde tramp.
Five years later, she had graduated from MIT with her medical P.H.D and a degree in Pathology. She was accepted into the internship program at the Northwestern Memorial hospital in Chicago and soon after moved there to pursue her career. She worked under one of the neurosurgeons at the hospital and was quickly humbled by his skill in the field. She was no longer at the top of her class, but now, just like the rest of the interns, sitting in the low class of doctors, taking the boring cases that none of the bigshots wanted.
Finally, after years of working her way up, she had finally become a fully fledged neurosurgeon. She finally settled down her life, going through the motions everyday with the occasional patient that basically took over her life for a good month.
Though she claims it wasn't her fault, Charlotte lost most of her left arm in a car accident - she liked to drive fast at night, when the streets were empty - after getting t-boned by a transport truck. This put an end to her surgical career and left her doing ER consults and lab work, as they wouldn't let her operate with a prosthetic.
The apocalypse hit the hospital hard and Charlotte eventually quit her job. The city was becoming a trap filled with death and the dying and while she was a doctor, she couldn't help but feel as though the job they were doing was only scratching the surface.
Charlotte grabbed a bunch of medical supplies from the hospital and left at lunch to gather her things from her apartment.
She was on the road an hour later, driving down the barren highway in her pickup truck.

Pitch perfect: Charlotte can tell if something is just even a touch off key. Funny enough, she can’t play an instrument to save her life.
Truly a people person: Having worked at a hospital for most of her adult life, Charlotte excels at one on one communication. However, she is also an extremely good liar.
Other Disabilities:
Doesn’t trust anyone: Charlotte had a hard time trusting people before the apocalypse. It is very hard to get her to open up at all, and she trusts absolutely no one.
@ChaoticFox The character sheet is well done, though if we get anymore musical talents I'm going to have to start an apocalypse band. (I can see it now, "The Sunset Valkyries".)
However, we do have a 'medical student' IE: Healer, so I must ask @XIII does this character being a much better doctor than yours interfere with your desires in this roleplay, or do you welcome the competition, and perhaps alliance in the field of healing.
If XIII has no problems with it, then I do not, but it's only fair to consult him/her.
@Aeonumbra TBH I don't really see him/her having a problem with it, particularly not one that can be resolved. If you're open to making any necessary changes/edits in the future, if he has qualms with her, you can post her in the tab now and start on an IC post.
Gave her the eyes you wanted, make her look a little more real, made her hair a bit darker, and basically made it less into "I play a doctor on TV" glamour shot.

Phew, okay, spent the day a bit down, but I think I've finally moped enough and I'll probably have a post down by tonight or tomorrow... For the future, if I'm ever the one holding progress back, feel free to poke me and I'll get my ass in gear!
@Aeonumbra I see your point about the eye thing; that character sheet was a "work in process" for a while and I ended up switching some stuff around, and forgot to remove the excellent vision.
As for picking the best traits... I really don't feel like I did this? I literally just based this character off myself and gave her a lot of traits that I have/used to have. I don't see how being strong and fast at the same time is "unrealistic"... In real life, being strong doesn't somehow magically make you slower. She's slightly tall for a girl, but I wouldn't under any circumstances call her a "bruiser". She's not a wall of muscle, or something, just relatively toughened from her treatment on the streets. Her weak points include her disabilities and her personal PTSD triggers; knock her prosthetic off and suddenly agility doesn't mean much. Given that she dropped out of high school, I'd call her someone of relatively low intelligence, as well.
Again, though, I am sorry about the eye thing, I'll go ahead and remove the "excellent vision" trait, I do feel that that one specifically pushes it a bit over the edge in terms of believability. I'm still of the opinion, however, that a 5'10" girl with a BB gun and some knives is not nearly as threatening as some of the other people in here thus far. (And for that matter, anyone who might come after.)

Appearance: David is a man of slightly larger than average build. His affinity for junk food is majorly offset by the physical requirements of his blue-collar job. His brown hair is thick and would be quite wavy if he were ever to let it grow out. The rest of his body is also covered in a generous amount of hair. He has a round, button nose, square jaw line, and tall forehead. His teeth have been well cared for. His hands are rough and a bit dark around the fingertips. Finally, David is without tattoos or piercings.
David was born and raised with his younger sister in the state of Washington by his conservative parents. His life was relatively stable in a middle-class white neighborhood. Like most teenage guys, David spent his time playing sports (baseball in particular) and video games. When graduation time came up, David applied to a community college at the insistence of his parents, although he only attended part-time. David found college tedious and the debt he incurred was frustrating. As monotonous as the work was, he preferred his days off spent working at the tire factory. Though he had no idea what he planned to do with a degree in general studies, there was one saving grace to higher education: Lisa. David fell head over heels for Lisa when they met at a Huskies home game. Every moment of free time was spent upon her and though his grades suffered, David was happier than he had ever been.
A year later the pair were engaged, and David was on the brink of academic probation. He dropped out of college and began working on the line full time. Since he was frugal, David reasoned that he could provide better doing what came naturally to him. Within weeks he had purchased a modest home on the outskirts of Seattle. Lisa was quietly accepting of this plan, or so he thought. Weeks before their wedding date, his fiance informed him that she was not willing to “resign herself to a mediocre lifestyle”. Despite his desperate promises to change, the wedding was off. Within a month David learned that Lisa was with someone new. He was devastated.
Six years later, at the age of twenty-eight, David still works at the tire factory. He doesn’t complain and has an excellent attendance record. Free hours are spent at home in front of his television screen playing games or watching sports. He has a good friend, Paul, who occasionally takes him out. But David has never been interested in taking chances with women again. Instead he makes himself comfortable in the home that would have been his and Lisa’s.

Skills:
Stamina: David is used to hard labor that lasts all day, every day. On the upper margins of average size, a brigand might seek out an easier target.
Basic Survival: David’s father often took him on extended back-packing trips into the mountains. During this time, David learned some survival and sustenance techniques.
Talents:
Wisdom: David is good at recognizing when his opinion is required and when it is not. If he cannot reconcile himself with a friend, he will distance himself rather than fight it out. This has kept him out of trouble and many unnecessary disputes.
Clean-Cut: David has lived life on the straight and narrow. Some may say that he is a bit boring. Still, this has lead to a remarkable lack of baggage.
Other Disabilities:
Hermit: After losing his fiance to a nasty break-up, David has spent the past several years as a relative recluse (Much to his mother’s dismay). With no strong emotional relationships outside of his family and best friend, David has a hard time connecting with others.
UPDATE: Not finished yet, but let me know what you think so far. What is missing/superfluous. I may wait to explain David's experience with "The End" in an initial IC post, unless of course you want an explanation in the CS. But just for the sake of preemptive defense, David got the majority of his convenient starting gear from his mother and father's house. He himself was not particularly prepared for the apocalypse.
