Hi, guys!

I just wanted to let you all know that my next post is mostly done (I just need to type Akane's part), so I'd like you to know that it'll probably come out tomorrow and that I'll be introducing some mooks for you to fight as well as the point when you'll get your first transformation. I also, would like to ask you all to beat said monsters in no more than a couple posts, to not clutter the thread needlessly, since the mook fights will be played yourselves alone (please, don't make your girls too OP as well), so there's no need to break it in something like a million posts.

Up to now, I'm glad with what has been happening, since everyone got the idea that I'm just providing a set-up for you to work with for the time being, though I'd like to ask you to clear any important things with me, @Spriggs27 or @TheWindel before posting. I'm willing to give you a lot of space to work with, but certain things still bother me, so I'd like to avoid them if possible.

Until later,

See ya!

For the mook fight, I do have a few questions about our magical girl powers and stuff.

1. Are we forced to become magical girls or is it a voluntary thing?

2. If or when we are magical girls, do we gain a boost to our physical abilities, or are we just as strong as we were normally? I know some of us like Chiharu are suppose to have exceptional strength, but I want to know if it would be possible for someone like Chikage to be able to say, tear through a fence with her magical girl strength or get hit by a truck and not die.

3. How tough are the mooks? Obviously strong enough to be a credible threat, but I also want to know if Chikage could potentially defeat one without going magical girl, either intentionally or accidentally.

4. I understand the girls are no longer in their old world, but are there still pedestrians around? Chikage's first instinct would be to head towards one of the police kiosk when the bad guys show up, so she'll run to them first. Even if the police isn't around Chikage is going to try anyways if only because she doesn't know that they're gone.

5. Are we all going to end up coming together during our fight or will we deal with our mooks on our own? I imagine since some of us are near the arcade we might see each other fight for our lives, but then again I don't know what may happen in this strange new world.

6. Also I know I didn't write that Chikage would have a weapon because I wrote it from the perspective of her regular normal life, but would all magical girls have actual weapons to defend themselves with? Or would that be something we'll obtain further into the plot?

@Lucius Cypher Well, fine, those questions are going to clarify a few things. Here at the answers:

1 - Semi-compulsory transformation, as is usual within the mahou shoujo genre for the first transformation ever.

2 - Yup. Everyone is about as strong and agile as your usual Precure when in magical girl form. Though, obviously, the specs vary from girl to girl. I expect that someone like Delia would be much more agile than most, while Chikage will probably be a stone wall of sorts, but on the end the final choice is up to you. Obviously, Chiharu will be the "pulverize concrete with a punch" type, but that's her charm, right?

3 - Again, I'm going to use a Precure analogy, since the mooks are about as strong as a typical Zakeena (and actually, operate in pretty much the same way). A normal person wouldn't be able to do much more than stall them for a few minutes. Otherwise, what would be the need for magical girls?

4 - No, as @liferusher's post estates, this is your usual magical sealed zone, that modern fantasy anime like to use. Anything that moves there is pretty much sure to be a magical being, our have some other strange power. Furthermore, unless otherwise noted, nothing you do there had any influence over the material world, so, you can go would on your fights.

5 - Surely, there's more than a few of you who are within short range of one another. Of you want to interact between yourselves that would be really cool.

6 - Well, having, or not having, weapons and when to acquire them is up to you as well. Though, it certainly isn't a requirement, as more than a few classic mahou shoujo fight with nothing but their frilly coated fists and feet.

Cool, but just let me get one thing straight: our actions won't affect our real world after we leave the magical one, right? Say for example, the train Chikage is next towards: by the time or before the mooks show up, the train would have stopped, right? And if say, Chikage slams a Mook into a car or a car into a mook, she wouldn't need to worry about the possible collateral damage she's doing, right? Granted she might do it even if she will do major damage, if only to learn she needs to be careful.

Pretty much that. in the good ol' Nanoha style, you could level half of the city while fighting inside the barrier and nothing would happen on the real world.

Not the reason to why I'm a fan of it, it's because of the place and the horror type it is, and because of some of the chars I love.

Too much gorn turns me off of horror. Not because it's disgusting, but because its's become a cheap method of "scaring" people with no originality behind it.

I think Chiharu's fighting style for this first fight will best be summed up as "very intense, dramatic, impressive-looking flailing".

She doesn't really know how to fight or use any attacks yet, after all.

Shiko:"Why are my attacks so conditional?!"

If it's about horror, I'd prefer subtle stories much more. I have a thing for psychological horror and jump scares. Stories like the original Resident Evil, Alan Wake, Silent Hill and the like. This is the kind of horror that I enjoy, not seeing a psycho twirling someone's innards while singing the Camelot song, unless said pseudo is Freddy Krueger, of course, then it's just awesome. Other than that, no.

Too much gorn turns me off of horror. Not because it's disgusting, but because its's become a cheap method of "scaring" people with no originality behind it.

You mean things like Saw? I truly detest those movies, since the only thing they do for about 2 hours in everyone of them is mutilate people. If I wished to see that, I would see the footage of a slaughterhouse.
