i can definitely see lily using meryn's services. ferrying payments and communication back and forth, maybe? easy to trust a mute messenger not to go blabbing :P

haha yes i like this~ meryn would probably be very uncomfortable with the whole thing and try extra hard to look like a boy when delivering to lily's clients. i think for all her huffing though, she'd secretly be fond of lily and enjoy the extra challenge of avoiding the guards for those jobs.

Say, @Magnato, I notice that Samieh Gaeard and Andica Garun have quite similar last names, and come from a similar-ish background. Perhaps they could be cousins?

Name: Sanaa Dufor

Abstract: Little known and little versed in the world.

Detail: The Dufor family was well known in Enn, though not well liked. Marquis Dufor owned a substantial amount of land inside the walls and made sure those who leased knew it. Hated or not there was no denying his prowess.

Sanna is the youngest of three children and only daughter. Her brothers have taken to the family business. While excluded, Sanaa didn't mind as she did not much care for business or their practices. Growing up to be a noble woman would suffice, if she could manage it that is. Sanaa was quite free spirited and which left her looked down on. The upper class saw a undisciplined child while the lower saw a spoiled girl.

Being the baby of a wealthy family she was pampered most of her life. For the most part she had everything she ever wanted. However along with that came restrictions. It was no secret that Mr. Dufor was disliked in Enn and that meant being sheltered. Aside from a few rare occasions any social interaction was from play dates and arranged events. Such things were sufferable even when stifling.

But the dull drum of life was broken when her father suddenly passed. He had become ill but no one had expected this outcome. As if that wasn't enough the passing started a feud between her brothers and she was getting dragged into the middle. In a brash but somewhat typical decision, Sanaa ran from the problem. What she would do or where she would go was not in the plans. But the posting of the Traveler had reached her knowledge and for the time she wanted to be far from Enn.

@t2wave I see what you did there! Very cool, and a definite plot point or two may come of it. Approved.

Yay! It did well because I had an idea and just needed a motive to leave Enn. Prefect.

I'm laughing to myself that Roy could be this forest spirit from Lux's casebook.

It is definitely Roy! ;p Even though all of Lux's findings point to the contrary, she isn't 100% convinced he isn't a forest sprit. Roy's up there with Meryn (aka the shadow on the roof) in her they-can't-be-normal-humans list.

@Vee Ha! Crazy does describe a lot of what Lux does.

@Magnato Hmm, with your character's criminal backround and Kelsier's position as a (former) soldier in charge of policing the city I can see some interesting conversations to be had between them.

@DFTBA Sounds interesting! I think the two characters could have an interesting dynamic between sharing a distaste for nobility while also having two very different life approaches.

@Crimson Raven I don't think many officers caught a noise of Samieh's poaching or even the smuggling, though a few did (which is why she is leaving) and nothing stops Kelsier from being one of the few.

I'm working on the groups and stuff. I'm also gonna start copying all the big announcements to the first post of the OOC so if you missed something you don't have to hunt through the thread. So, sometime tonight there'll be another announcement post. But I'm around in the meantime. :)

All this time I thought I was waiting on this, and I read it and approved it and didn't even realize. They made a post afterward saying they had an idea for a character, so my brain assumed there was a CS in progress.
