Alyssa smiled at Matthew, nodding at him before looking back at the others. A student already volunteered and he was the first one who was going to go out there and show everyone what he coudl do. Alyssa in the other hand didn't want to do that because she didn't have her powers controlled as of yet. And besides, hopefully Matthew was saying the truth. "Hmmm... I want to see how your powers work though, Matthew." she said softly while turning her head to look at Matthew with her hands running through her hair.

@Princeofhearts Matthew laughed awkwardly and rubbed the back of his head. "They're not that great, I swear."

Noah looked out to the crowd of students and gave a short wave. "Hi there, my name is Noah and my power is..." His appearance flickered and became that of the counselor on his left, then to the image of Link, and then several more of the campers he saw before switching back to his normal appearance. Bending down he plucked a flower from the ground, took a deep breath in of its scents and let out a deep exhalation. The smell of the flower was amplified and the rest of the campers could now smell it as if it was just under their own noses. Big finish. He tucked the flower behind his ear and felt the energy build up inside of him. He lifted one hand to the sky and the image of dark swirling thunderclouds gradually started to form up around the campfire. The he stomped the ground beneath him- timing it with the sound of a thunderclap. As though at his behest a ornate stone handle rushed out of the ground into hand. He pulled and a massive double-headed, pure stone axe ripped from the earth leaving a gouge mark the size of a cabin. Without any apparent effort, he swung it around his head a couple times with one hand and then clenched the fist of the other. A streak of lightning and a boom of thunder occurred a the same instant, the lightning hitting the stone weapon. The stone fell away revealing the entire piece to be made of black opal. Then he slammed the weapon back into the earth looked out at the crowd once more and said "...Illusions." With that, all of the illusory images disappeared in a puff of blue smoke. "Please enjoy the flowers." Every student had the image of a flower in their hands, the false scent still in the air.

Noah stood tall and somewhat pleased with himself. Well that should be a decent first impression. In truth, he had pretty much exhausted himself. That much power was about the maximum he could do while maintaining control. He took a bow before hurrying back to his seat and grabbing some water from his bag to watch the remaining campers.

*Link watches Noah with amazement. He takes a deep breath, then slowly stands after Noah finishes. He slowly walks over to the councillors and turns. He gives a small bow* "that was extremely impressive Noah. anyway my name is link. my gift is compulsion or persuasion. Technically, I can do this on a large scale but I would prefer a singular female volunteer if you wouldn't mind" *He seems confident, but really he is terrified*

They're all so cool Matthew frowned while watching.

"I will help you." said Valencia with a smile and stands up and walked to wards Link. "What do you need me to do?" she asked curiously while inspecting him some more. this could be fun. So why not help him. she thought while holding her lollipop in her hand.

*Link looks at her and swallows* "I need you to be open minded" *He gives her a small almost apologetic smile before taking a deep breath and activating his gift* "Please forget your name, you no longer recall it even when asked while my eyes are on you" *His voice sounds sweet almost velvety with a musical sound to it. This is the power known to sirens, normally used to lure in food, instead he is trying to not use it. When forced he would rather bite then take a person's will like this. His eyes seem to flicker to their full black coloration for a second. Using his gift as more of a hypnotic tool instead of a mindless lure.*

Alyssa smiled at Matthew and then towards the others to see them introducing themselves and showing off their abilities. "Woah... They are so cool with their abilities, huh?" She giggled while staring at Link showing off his abilities. "Mmmm. I see what he does.."

@Princeofhearts Matthew nodded slightly. "I don't think I'll be able to beat what Noah did. That was awesome."

Valencia looked at Link with a little confusion on her face. "Ok, I will do that." she rreplied to him. empty your mind. she thought. Valencia took a deep breath and closed her eyes to focus her self to empty her mind and did what Link told her to do. It didn't took long and she opened her eyes and didn't say a word, she was just looking at him as if they where the only ones there. Valencia just kept looking at him.

*Link gives a small smile and continues his gift still in affect.* "now what is your name?" *with his gift, anyone who asks her while he is keeping eye contact should receive the same answer*

Valencia looked at Link, anyone could tell from seeing her face that she had no clue about what he meant. "My name?" she asked with a soft and shy voice that was ful of confusion. Valencia looked at the ground. "I.....I.. Don't know..." she said after a few minutes had passed.

*Link nods then looks away his voice returning to its normal tone, he steps forward somewhat and hugs her.* "thank you for helping me demonstrate my gift" *He feels guilty, that much is clear.*

"Do not feel guilty young one." the counselors told link together. "You didnt use your power to harm or manipulate her. A power like yours can easily be abused. But we can see that you have morals that will help keep you from doing that. Your powers are part of who you are. Powers aren't good or evil. It depend on the person using them. We know that was difficult for you so that you for sharing."

@BlackPanther Noah put his hands together and began clapping for the display, nudging other campers to do the same. "Great job! You were awesome Link!"

*Link lets Valencia out of the hug with a soft smile.He turns to the counselors and nods* "Thank you for the pep talk" *Link looks back out to the other campers and smiles. He gives a thumbs up to Noah before going and sitting back down a slight blush as he wasn't expecting to be accepted*

After Valencia's answer Link's voice changed and she came to remember her name again. Link thanks her for helping him and hugs her. "No problem, we all need to help one another and it was fun." Valencia smiled at him.

"I think I'll go next then." she said after Link sits down again. "I'm Valencia and my power is telekinesis." She looked around to see if there was something interesting to set flying. Then Valencia remembered that she had little candles in her backpack and since she liked candles, she had a plan.

Valencia concentrated on the candles and one by one they came to wards her. Valencia let's them circle around them and looked at the fire pit. She took the image of a flame in her mind and focused on the candles to light them. One by one a flame came up from out of nowhere. Valencia let the candles fly slowly through the air and spread them out over all the campers. "Here, now you all have a little light for the night." she said with a smile and set's the candles on the ground in front of all the campers. Valencia bowed and puts her lollipop in her mouth and walked back to her place with a candle following her.

'MY TURN!"Ivy shouted as she raced to the fire pit. She was glad that she hadn't missed the demonstrations. She loved showing off her power but Kyle didn't let her do it very often. But the usual rules didn't apply right now. Here everyone was like her so it didn't matter if she showed off some. "MY NAME IS IVY!! I CANT WAIT TO MEET ALL OF YOU!! I CAN CONTROL FIRE!!" Well sort of. Her control wasn't really that great. She created a ball of fire in her hand just as she tripped. The ball flew out of her hand.

Matthew jumped back from the ball of fire. "Holy crap!" He shouted then looked at Ivy

Alyssa rose an eyebrow, as she stared at the others going one by one. They all had amazing powers but they were all controlled by them. Except, the last girl...whom made a fireball and threw it uncontrollably somewherr. Alyssa moved out of the way just for that fireball not to hit her. Alyssa pinched Matthew softly, as she spoke. "Your turn..."
