Sindile did his best to keep up, but even banter between the Inhuman races kept him from voicing his thoughts. The first one who fed on Sindile was a sloppy biter, having nearly ripped out his throat in the process. Sindile was often told that the blood of a Sanguinist was easily detectable among normal humans, and that the very crimson he bled was compared to sweet honey and ripe berries. Even so, Sindile didn't like to be treated as mere food for immortals. The second nightwalker who fed was as gentle as she was beautiful. Sindile remembered how she bit cleanly into his wrist and drank patiently.

He did his best to hide his rosy cheeks, unwilling to show his strong attraction to the female vampire. His heart began to race and his pupils started to dilate. He bit his lower lip to stop himself from moaning. Though obvious signs of sexual excitement, it's not that he wanted to bed the brunette--not yet anyway--but it was natural response from a Sanguinist when "bitten correctly." While the physiology of a Sanguinist was mostly identical to humans, this ancient race also learned to be picky about the vampires that drink from them. The more pleasurable the bite, the more acceptable it was for the Sanguinist. In turn, that Sanguinist would often prefer that same vampire's company and thus a natural ally for protection.

I'm...gonna...cu---

The brunette had released him in time, much to his relief...and disappointment. He noted the appearance of two other vampires, whom he quickly backed away from. If things had not escalated quickly enough, a creature of the moon had boldly made his presence known. The youngest-looking vampire immediately accused him of involvement in the Zone's destruction--and the Inhuman lives taken with it. Sindile appreciated the brunette's more diplomatic response, which leaned more towards his own agenda.

"Please don't ignore the lady," Sindile managed to say, feeling uncomfortably like a kitten among the lions. "All we know is that too many have died already. I'm Sindile Eleazer, working with Noctis Progen Inc. Heard of us? I'm here to investigate the unexplained deaths in this jurisdiction. Anything you might know would be of great help to me. In turn, I can help put an end to this madness."

Anya inched away further at Ronin's response to her question, she'd heard of what he'd done in his past, she knew she stood no chance against him. Adalaide stood in front of her shortly after and Norman moved as if to attack him. "I-Guys..be careful..this guy..if the stories are true..he's not someone to be toyed with. Please...be careful." She told them, fear evident in her voice. She didn't like it when she was afraid, she hated it. But what more could she do other than get herself killed? She sighed, watching the scene un-fold.

Ronin merely laughed darkly at Norman when he told him he had issues. "What are a few innocents when dealing with the beast terrorizing the village?" Ronin told him, grinning wickedly.

Even more amusing to Ronin, Norman moved to challenge him. Ronins' grin only grew wider at that point. "5...4...3...2....1...0.." Ronin counted out-loud to himself, "Boom..." Unbeknownst to the people in front of him, the meeting room of the Silver Moon had just met the same fate as The Zone. At this point, Ronin was smiling psychotically. "Why? Why did I blow it up? To start a war of course my dear woman! What better way to cleanse the city of filth than to have it attack and weaken itself in the process?" He told her. "And you would be quite right, I did invite you all. See, I knew that little girl is usually at this bar this time of night seeing as her father, a rather influential member of the Blackbloods being the Underboss and all, owns it."

He began pacing slowly, eyebrow raised at Norman, fully ready and expecting an attack from him at any moment. "What better way to start a war than by killing one of the families hitmen and the adopted daughter of the Underboss on top of blowing up his bar? Bonus points for killing the Enforcer and Informant, of course." He continued. "But of course, there's another secret to this plan I don't think I'm quite ready to tell you yet. But you'll find out soon, that is if you live through tonight."

It was clear Ronin wouldn't attack first, no. His fighting style demanded the opponent attacked first, giving the upper hand to him. And what better way to..convince..them to do so than to enrage them?

Meanwhile, Anya simply trembled in fear once it was made known she was the primary target, hiding behind Adalaide though still holding her defensive stance. I should've just went home, took a shower, and went to sleep. she thought to herself, sighing internally.

"Well, here we are at our local DMV.", Sleepy said as he adjusted his trenchcoat, "God, I hate dis getup. Makes me feel like I should be... I dunno, sellin' cheap watches down at the docks or somethin'. It just ain't me, ya know?"

He held the door open for his partner. Sleepy, for the most part, was prohibited from interacting with government officials or the press. The former, because he was ugly, surly, and the NYPD didn't need any more audits than they already had. The latter, becuase Sleepy had a mouth almost as large as he was. He registered a sudden flash out the window, followed by a loud, low rumbling that rattled his teeth. Some kind of explosion. A meth lab?

"'Ey, Eddie?", Sleepy tipped his head in the general direction from which the flash had come, "Dunno if ya caught dat, but we'd better leave dat ta, ehh...", he paused for a moment and scratched his temple, "...Anyone else?"

Eddie gave a sympathetic nod towards his partner as he mentioned the get-up. It was a shame that Sleepy had to wear that all the damn time on the job. Course that wasn't Eddie's main concern at the moment. The officers needed to retrieve the squad car from the local DMV. Eddie held out the keys, and simply nodded to Sleepy as he got the door.

"Tha-" And that's when he noticed something. Nah, it wasn't that noise which the other officers were probably mobilizing to take a crack at. No, Eddie noticed something far more insidious. The officer got down on his knees as he took a good look at their tried and true car.

"What the?!"

The front bumper was completely removed. Some punk, some low down no good son of a bitch stole the bumper! Eddie quickly popped back up and glanced at Sleepy.

"Son of a BITCH! Our bumper!" Eddie cursed out. He turned around and glanced at the streets, pondering where the hell the bumper could've gone. To his fortune he spotted an unmarked white van, where two dudes were struggling to load...

Those punks had the bumper! Quickly Eddie turned to Sleepy, "I found our perps! We gotta hurry before they get the hell outta Dodge!" Ready to engage against those criminal miscreants, he hopped into the vehicle, started it up and pressed on the gas.

The boys at the DMV had to boot their car. Eddie turned towards Sleepy, and spoke urgently "Hey can ya get the thing off? I'll take the complaints from the boys at the DMV for this. But I ain't gonna let these punks get away with part of our car."

On the other side of the street, the nefarious punks managed to load the bumper in the back. One quickly followed the bumper and shut the doors, while the other went around the side to the passenger's door and entered. And that's when the van started to speed off.

Hector peered around the room, giving each of the members a brief glance.

There was Leonard Polidori, the head of operations in Long Island. There was Juan "Eagle-Eyes" Iniguez, who managed the foremost smuggling line. There was Mario, who owed Bastian quite a bit-- why he was here now was a mystery. The room was rather sparse right now, but the atmosphere didn't seem as tense as it should have.

"If that's everything, I'd say we should get going before it gets too rough out there." Hector turned to Alissa, and gave her an appraising look. "I'm gonna need you to come with me, we've got--"

The telltale sound of high explosives doing what they do sounded out around the building and across the bustling district surrounding it. Rubble and dust flew up into the air like confetti in an updraft. The fire alarm howled a high-pitched klaxon, and the few dozen employees still working rushed for the exits.

Hector reacted quickly and professionally. Ensuring that the room was safe from falling debris, he charged into the hallway to lead the push to safety. Evidently, he expected the others to follow him.

Several stories below, on the streets outside, the reaction was nigh-on instantaneous. Just as dozens of eyes were turned to the explosion of a local nightclub and the incredibly-conspicuous robed man who had very vocally revealed himself to have caused it, hundreds of eyes turned to the explosion of a large office building. The first thought on everyone's mind was terrorism. The second thought was a mix between patriotic fervor and frantic attempts to remember what had occurred just before. Police cruisers, each fully prepared to deal with armed hostiles, were converging on both the Silver Moons' meeting place and The Zone. At the moment, however, Hector and his colleagues had much more relevant issues. Hector would wait patiently for each of his colleagues to exit the building before making his way out, as was expected of someone of his stature. He hoped they would leave soon.

"Already on it!", Sleepy called as he sprinted around the car, snapping the clamp's locking mechanism with his bare hands and wrenching it free. Then he pulled open the passenger-side door and dove into the seat.

"PUNCH IT, EDDIE!"

Luckily for the pair, the thieves had already cut a section out of the fence surrounding the lot in order to steal the DeSoto's bumper. At the very least, they'd be able to blame that bit of property damage on the suspects when they tore out of here.

"HANG ON TIGHT, WE GOIN' FOR A RIDE!" Eddie enthusiastically declared, as he put the pedal to the metal. The DeSoto crashed through the already torn chain-link fence, and onto the road. He gritted his teeth and kept concentration on the van that the perps were escaping in.

Those punks had good distance, but Eddie was working on closing the gap. Eddie flicked on the sirens, and took out the radio.

"STOP IN THE NAME OF THE LAW!" sounded out from the vehicle. The van's driver didn't heed the warning, and went even faster, weaving through lift traffic. Eddie did the same.

"Damn punks! Sleepy tell me you can get a shot at'em!" Cursed out the officer, as he kept pursuit of the criminal's vehicle.

The embarrassment immediately showed on Alissa's face. The blush only became deeper as she fought to hide it, leaving her face only a few shades away from blood itself. However, the blush quickly disappeared once her attention was shifted from self-beration back to the meeting.

A spy?

She had been wanting a way to prove herself to her new family, but she hadn't counted on it being such a dangerous job. Nor had she expected the opportunity to arrive so soon after she joined, for that matter. Bastian seemed to have more faith in her than she'd believed, and that meant a lot to Alissa. She wouldn't let him down. She couldn't let him down.

Hector turned to her and began to speak, but before he could finish the world erupted. Explosions sounded from all around. Terror took hold of Alissa, only to be muscled away by something else - years and years of school drilling. Immediately, Alissa began to move for the emergency exit, stopping only to help Mario to his feet on her way. Throughout this, spikes of pain reached Alissa's head briefly, before being snuffed out by her body's repair mechanisms.

It wasn't until she managed to get to the stairwell that she realized she hadn't let go of Mario's hand, and had in fact dragged him out of immediate danger. She dropped the man's hand before turning back to see if she was needed to assist in the escape.

Sleepy rolled down the window with one hand while he reached into his coat pocket, withdrawing a bulky service revolver with the trigger guard filed off. It looked somewhat like a toy, clutched in his meaty hamhock of a fist. He flicked off the safety, worked the hammer, leaned out the open window, and fired wildly at the escaping van's wheels, bullets pinging off asphalt and the vehicle's chassis. Sleepy swore as his revolver clicked over an empty cylinder.

"AY, YOU, WIT DA VAN!", he shouted, fumbling with his gun as he crammed a speedloader into it, "DIS IS DA POLICE. PULL OVER OR WE USE FORCE, CAPISCE?"

"Hot dogs, git yisself a dog! Three bucks per dog!" bellowed out the street hawker. Once again, Dave Miller rolled his cart down the New York side-walks. Another day, another dollar. He adjusted the paper cap that was perched atop his greasy hair. He sighed and thought of the spot he was pushed off by the competition. Dave just hoped that he could make it through another uneventful day.

That's when the van came barreling past him, once again ignoring the demands of the police. As the van continued speeding forward the force spun him around in a comical fashion. Fortunately for him and his livelihood, they did not destroy his cart. Though that little piece of serendipity did not last.

Mostly, because Eddie just drove onto the sidewalk, and slammed into the vendor's cart causing it to fly off. But fortunately, Dave jumped off to the side, and began shaking his fist and shouting out obscenities. Other pedestrians were jumping out of the way, and screaming in terror, as the squad-car was charging down the side-walk.

They soon got on the left side of the van. Eddie frantically turned the wheel and rammed the suspects on the side, knocking off their left mirror in the process. The van began skidding, as Eddie kept a firm grip on the wheel and rammed the van once again. The criminal vehicle was in a precarious position, and the driver found himself unable to avoid a collision.

WHAM! The van crashed straight first into a light-pole. The emergency lights were flashing and buzzing, as the van had met its fate. None could escape the long arm of the law. Eddie smirked as he saw and heard the crash, and immediately spun the vehicle around and slammed on the breaks.

The police car came to an abrupt stop, parked diagonally in the middle of the street. With the police sirens still on, Eddie swung open the car doors and drew out his standard issue glock.

"GET OUT OF THE CAR, HANDS ABOVE YOUR HEAD!" Eddie decreed as he kept his fire-arm out. "AND GIVE US BACK OUR BUMPER!"

Bastian leaned forward as he was almost issued an answer, before a muffled yet lout boom echoed through the room, shaking the fixtures. A glance down the window showed the people already filing out into the streets, where police and ambulances awaited with blankets and cocoa.

"Damn; we've been found out." he said, standing up. Waving his arm, he gave the signal for everyone to file out. Stopping briefly, he turned to Hector, and said "I admire the nobility, but if you're not actively getting others safe, bear in mind you'll not be berated for saving your own skin."
Turning to make sure they were the last pair in the room, he quickly shut the door, and said, "They know where this place is; we can't be sure they don't know where our other hideouts are... or that we haven't been compromised by our own. I'll be relocating our stashes and doing some human resourcing while you two mount the investigation."

Patting the enforcer's shoulder, he reopened the door and led him towards the pack, and the crew soon deposited themselves into the throngs of panicked workers, emergency services, and new reporters below.

When Aleksi saw the other two girls jump up from behind the bar and feed on the Sanguinist she breathed a sigh of relief but continued lifting up large pieces of wall and ceiling still trying to find others. She uncovered only two bodies so far and didn't know how many others would be there and this was playing hell with her emotions.

"Бог это Су-" she began to say under her breath as she lifter a slab over her head but stopped mid-sentence as Ronin popped in and began to spout some sort of nonsense but she did hear the fact that he was the one that blew up the Zone.

Aleksandri began to stalk her way up to the group while dragging the slab of wall behind herself "Miss Anya please step to the side" she said a few seconds before throwing the slab like a discus towards Ronin. "Как ты смеешь делать это!((How dare you do this))" she yelled and pulled two knives from the ring hanging from her neck.

As Hector strode into the fresh air, he noticed Mario hurrying away. The poor man had more than enough excitement for one night, and had evidently decided that whatever business he had with Bastian could wait.

The streets were abuzz with spectators and emergency service workers. A small number of particularly foolhardy news crews reported from outside the boundaries of a police cordon hastily constructed just outside the building. It was practically a miracle that Hector and his cohorts had escaped without attracting any attention.

"Boss, I don't think we'll need the investigation," Hector whispered to Bastian. "only one gang fucked enough to bomb some place just to get at us. You want I should get the guys together, hit 'em back tonight? They probably 'specting us to get all scared, go into hiding, you know what I mean? We got a chance to catch 'em right now, you just gotta say the word!"

Hadrian tilted his head upon hearing the assorted comments, letting an annoying grunt when she heard the voice of Adelaide. It was just his luck. He wanted to play shining knightly rescue and out of all his options, two had underdeveloped bodies, and the third one was Adelaide. Which probably would mock him, and not even need a kind of rescue whatsoever. That french she-viper really got to his nerves, much like anyone french for the matter. Then the other vampire decided to take charge and claim names. The old crusader let out a defeatist sigh as he scratched the back of his head.

"Actually I've been living in a scrapyard, good material to forge stuff." He answered to Adelaide's quip."Alright, kid, I'll play vampire cronie with you." He added to Norman's. "This guy looks unhinged, and he's gone too far. I know that feeling. But, hey, I thought those who followed the path of the Hashshashin were much more discriminating. The Old Man in the Mountain must be rolling on his earthly grave if he ever found out how sloppy the youths are." He took out his worn coat, and dropped it nonchalantly, getting ready for action. Underneath the old clothing, a snug but equally worn tanktop revealed well defined muscles and a mesh of scars not only across his face, but through his body aswell.

And then one of the vampettes cursed in russian and just hurled a chunk of a FREAKING wall at the assassin. "Oh dear." Hadrian let out both in amusement and surprise, a smile forming in his face. "Looks like you might not even need my help." He chuckled inwardly. He would've probably hurled a car to the freak's posturing and invitation to take in an attack and countering it, but the other female vampire had beaten him to the punch.

Adrian then flashed an impish grin. "Then again...it's better to be safe than sorry." The old vampire wasn't going to risk it, so he dived for the discarded blood freezer, and took one of the bags. Human blood. He had swore off the stuff due to the pain it caused to humans to extract it, but he didn't hesitate and drank its contents open, feeling the power who had long been dormant building up. He then, in a show of speed, moved like a blur, positioning himself next to the panicking vampire and Adelaide, assuming a Kung Fu stance.

"Hot dogs, huh?" Dana said lazily as she jogged lightly in her neon pink tracksuit alongside the dog she had been assigned. The female doctor didn't mind doing a little of exercise in her day off, after all, her kind and dogs were the sort to run and trek for a while rather than being cooped up full time. At least it was a break from the Siberian cases duo and their two-men wrecking crew show. It was a complicated dynamic to say the least. She and the bosses really hated the messes they usually brought to her tables to analyze, but then again, she was practically the only forensic in the NYPD versed in the stuff, besides the ex-head who went and made a cop out of cop corpses. She never figured out what had it been about.

She waved her hand through her loose brown hair, letting a sigh of relief after exerting herself to the point of sweating. "Yeah, let's go get some grub. But only one." She said to her fellow companion, the german shepherd known as Agent Porkchop. He seemed to whine in grief, his ears flopping.

"Don't look at me like that. The vet said you were a little chubby." Dana nonchalantly quipped, some strangers staring at the funny duo of jogging woman and dog. However, their attention was short-lived, because there were more people who pretended that they could talk to their dogs throughout the world. It was then that Porkchop barked in a well-articulated canine complaint.

"wha-" The doctor said, a burrow furrowing. "My BUTT is not THAT fat." The doctor added, folding her arms and staring intently at Porkchop, but soon relented. "Alright, two for each one of us but this is the last time, you hear me?" She added, finally conceding.

Just as a VAN COMING OUT OF FREAKING NOWHERE sped through the sidewalk, nearly knocking the hot dog stall. "Huh. That's we-" She added, not being able to finish as a bumperless, but pretty much recognizable DeSoto literally obliterated the stall, leaving her in disbelief of the mess, just as her canine companion sniffed a couple of the sausages that had been scattered before gulping them down.

"Goddamnit Eddie." said doctor Dana Oakheart, her pink tracksuit now covered in assorted sauce stains. "Porkchop, after them!" She said, after witnessing the crash and eventual standoff. The dog seemed to comply as he ran at full speed, ready to bite crook's flesh and not let it go.

Anya stared on at the scene as it unfolded, daggers still drawn and still hiding behind Adalaide. Of course, no one listened to her warning, but at-least it was multiple against one. They stood a good chance. At-least she hoped they did. "Please be careful.." She asked them, staring between Aleksi and Norman. Aleksi at that point threw a piece of sized wall at Ronin, he waited for the last possible second before drawing his blade and cutting the chunk of brick in half, getting nothing more than a few scrapes and covered in dust.

Bringing his sword to the ground he rested his hands on the top of the hilt, the point sticking into the ground. "Really now? A wall? I guess the saying 'subtle as a flying brick through a window' didn't quite stick with you did it?" He told her, chuckling lowly. "And..I don't speak a word of Russian, but I'm going to assume it was something along the lines of 'why', and I'm not one to re-explain myself." He smirked when he saw the woman draw two knives, "Bringing kitchen knives to a sword fight I see, nicely done." He told her, laughing lowly. His expression changed from that of amusement to a grimace when the man before him mentioned 'The Old Man in the Mountain', "And what would vampiric filth such as yourself know of the Old Man? Hm? Do tell." He spat.

Ronin sheathed his sword once Adrian assumed an un-armed stance and simply stood up straight, arms folded in front of him, head bowed, and eyes closed. "I believe I asked a question." He told him flatly, not moving nor looking up from where he was standing. Of course, to the casual on-looker it looked as if Ronin had simply given up and was accepting his beating that was going to soon be dealt to him. In reality, he was lowering the amount of noise he himself made and focusing solely on the group in front of him and the sounds around him, drowning out the loud noises and focusing only on the faint. The moment either of them advanced towards him, he'd hear and re-act much quicker than he would should he be tense and waiting for the fight.

"Uspokoysya Aleksiyu, nam nuzhno informatsii, prezhde chem my yego ubit'." Adalaide tried her best to diffuse the situation but she could tell this was going nowhere fast. She sighed as she took off her earrings and shoes because while it was rare that someone could even touch her without her permission, it wasn't impossible and having your earrings ripped out of your ears is painful.

"Anya, if you would get our Sanguinist friend to safety I would be much obliged." Adalaide asked Anya, before she reached over and grabbed a decent sized piece of pipe, before hearing this Ronin call Hadrian vampiric filth. She couldn't help it, she started laughing. She braced the pipe against the ground as she regained her composure.

"You're not so natural yourself cher, unless you have a really good plastic surgeon." Adalaide informed him before turning to face Hadrian.
"Are you talking about the Old Man of the Mountain? Because those are two completely different things Hadrian. One was the leader of Islamic assassins that you were assumedly part of, the other is a cliff in Wyoming. I'm just saying, they're a bit different. Not that it really matters in the end, I just thought I'd bring it up while we're talking." Adalaide was rambling, partly to annoy Hadrian but mostly to annoy Ronin because annoyed people made irrational decisions and Ronin could stand to make a few irrational decisions that would favor them.

Sleepy finished reloading with only two bullets lost due to the movement of the car. Thinking fast, he opened his door and rolled out of the car- or, at the very least, he attempted to. His door collided with dull thud, followed by a high-pitched yelp. He stopped, opening the door a little slower this time. Apparently, there'd been a dog that had attempted to run towards the car wreck, only to be met by a good ol' DeSoto Doorslam.

Briefly, he wondered why the dog was there, and also if the dent it left would buff out. Driving around with a dent shaped like a dog head would just be weird. What the hell was it even doing here, anyway?

Paying it no more mind, he shoved the unconscious- or possibly just stunned, he couldn't really tell- dog off to the side and approached the vehicle. Wrenching off the door, he peered inside to find five dazed crooks, faces covered in bandanas and ski masks.

"Ey, looks like ya got 'em, Eddie! Say, we still got dat rope in da backseat?", Sleepy hauled one of the suspects out onto the asphalt, "I'll pull dese bastards out if ya wanna get 'em tied down, yeah?"

Eddie smiled as he heard Sleepy remark on his success. The officer returned his gun back to his holster as he glanced towards his partner. "Lemme check."

He went around the side of the DeSoto and opened the back seat. As he reached under the seat, Eddie began pawing for the coiled rope. "The Hell? When did gum get under there?" Eddie confusingly remarked. He shook his head as he continued searching under the seat.

"Ah, there we go." Eddie took out a length of coiled rope from under the seat, and shut the door back. He smiled as he grabbed the rope with both hands, "Here's Ol' West. Gonna get some good use today." Eddie remarked towards his partner, while taking a gander at the first thug Sleepy pulled out.

"By the by Sleepy, did they scuff up our bumper?" Eddie inquired as readied the rope to tie up those damn thugs.

Dana maintaned her brisk pace, chasing after Porkchop, it would have been weird for her to suddenly overcome the dog in speed and lunge at the culprits. What are those clowns doing... she trailed on her thought, but was suddenly jolted out of it when Eddie's partner, that damned jigsaw freak man of sleepy decided to slam the door against the selfless dog.

"NO! PORKCHOP!" Dana wailed on top of her lungs as she arrived not too soon after. Forgetting about her anger, the ketchup stains, the thugs, and the two cops of the DeSoto, Dana rushed towards the stunned dog and craddled it against her. "Agent Porkchop, answer me!" She yelled again, only to be met by a soft whine on the dog's part. It looked quite the blow, but he would probably be okay, if a bit dizzy.

She then glared at both Eddie and Sleepy, a piercing stare. "...you're telling me you smash the hot dog stall i was going to buy from, ruin my tracksuit, and doorslam Agent Porkchop for just your bloody bumper..."

She paused, twitching visiblely in barely restrained anger." On my day off from you two idiots and the Siberian cases clusterfuck..."

"IMMA GONNA MURDER YA EDDIE!" She exploded into a gutural growl. "SCREW THE PAPERWORK!" She said, doing an insanely powerful and inhuman leap that culminated into denting the van's roof with her heels. "SCREW THE PROPERTY DAMAGE!" She added, tearing the roof of the van open, and facing the terrified crooks. "SCREW YOUR JIGSAW PARTNER!" She added, lifting a crook with each hand, much to the shock of the remaining assailants. "SCREW YOU!" She then tossed them roughly in front of Eddie.

"AND SCREW YOUR FUCKING BUMPER!" She finished, grabbing the bumper, with the intention of breaking it in two, unfortunately, the silver plating soon interfered, and the berseker doctor flung the bumper in pain and surprise away a considerable distance.

"FUCK IT ALL!" She spat, nursing her hands.

Sleepy hauled another pair of crooks out of the car, glancing back to see a screaming cavewoman doing some sort of idiot gymnastics to somehow descend four feet, grab two of the barely-conscious goons, and lever herself out again so she could throw them onto the road. Luckily, the jarring motions caused them to pass out entirely, so they were limp when they hit the street. The damage from the impact only came to a few broken bones and a minor concussion. The screeching harpy performed the same motion again, this time coming up with their bumper and tossing it away. Sleepy hauled the remaining crooks over to Eddie as he shook his head. PMS was a helluva thing.

He walked over to grab the two other crooks passed out in the street, noted that their bumper was currently embedded spikes-first in a newspaper box, and dragged the two unlucky suspects laying in the road- or maybe luckier, since they'd be unconscious for the interrogation? It was all a matter of perspective, really.

"Well, I didn't get too good a look, see. I'm tinkin' we might gotta buff out a coupla scratches, courtesy a' Xena over 'ere. Speakin' a which-", Sleepy jabbed a thumb at the frothing psychopath chimping out atop the suspect's van, "-You know dis broad? She been callin' ya name an' all."
