Kyo watched and listened carefully to the discussion at hand as he slowly slid into the pool. He remained silent, of course, as there would be no way of communicating any sort of opinion without his device. It would be a bit difficult to enter a body of water after having nearly drowned in one, he decided, though he couldn't really think of what to do about something like that. Learning to swim might be a good way to decrease the risk of such a thing happening again, but the problem of just entering the pool still remained...

Maybe if he didn't register it as water? Or would that only be more dangerous? He might try to breathe it and drown anyway. Eh...to...

Now that I think of it, none of the girls have gotten out of the changing rooms yet, have they? I hope they're alright. I wonder if we will have figured out a solution before they arrive.

"Nearly drowning is exactly why you need to learn to swim. You will get into the pool. It starts off shallow. Only three feet. Sit on the sides and dip your feet for now but you will get in the water sooner or later." The housekeeper told him firmly.

After a while Brigit felt the other girl calm down a bit, it was time for self healing and some space so she patted her shoulder lightly, gave her head a kiss and silently got up and moved over to her friend. Sitting down next to her, she typed into the tablet and let it play. "I think we should get going before the Housekeeper comes to get us."

She waited for Katherin's reply but kept her tablet aside and readied herself to guide her friend to the pool.

Katherin accepted Brigit's helped. She was still nervous about getting into the water. She wasn't sure how her powered woukd respond to that. She had been in the water before. But never a huge pool. It wasn't something that she had had a chance to do before now. She could hear the echoes as one of te students tell the housekeeper they weren't going near the water. That didn't seem to be going over well. @Blizz "Fine if you wish to leave you knw where the door is."

@KatherinWinterjack replied coldly"I do, that where I'm going."he went for the door and returned to the gym.Jack decided that if we wasn't going to work on one skill, he'd work on another, umbrakinesis.

"Here it goes"

Jack stood in the middle and sat cross legged, he formed a circle of umbral matter which expanded until it was 3 feet wide, jack extended his arm as a crow manifested from the darkness, it landed on his wrist like a falconer handles a bird. Jack spoke to the crow, which he named shade

"You were easy, what about your murder?"

Jacks eyes lit up in a purple light as a murder of crows began to slowly form, in total jack created 4 crows, as one flew overhead, the birds all fell to theo ground as they dissolved into nothingness, shade followed with them as the circle faded away

"Dammit, I was given this power for a reason, surely I could control it better"jack hated it when he was defeated, he was attempting the go past his limit, but he failed, he tried to clear his mind of the thought of the water. The time when jack had a close call in the water raked at him for years, He couldn't set foot in water again willingly without nearly screaming.

Brigit helped Katherin reach the pool and looked towards the Housekeeper for further instructions, it seems the shadow guy wasn't interested in this activity and had decided to take his leave. Not that Brigit thought much about it but she was a bit sad that he'd miss out on a new experience.

she herself was fairly excited about the prospect of being in water. She was a bit self-conscious though as she looked around for people looking at her heavily scarred body. Hopefully, no one would mind, such a displeasing sight.

"Everyone in the water. I don't care if it is just your feet at first. Something has to be touching the water." The housekeep told them.

Brigit just held onto Katherin's hand tightly hearing the sudden outburst of the housekeeper before the other girl could protest she lightly guided her near the edge and lightly forced her shoulder to sit. She herself got into the shallow end of the pool and stood near the edge to see if her friend would sit at the edge.

Kyo looked over at the two girls as they entered the water, offering a brief, small smile. The quiet one seemed...nervous. Was the water bothersome to her? Or was it the markings? He didn't do more than glance, already feeling awkward about looking too long at either of them for his own reasons, but he noticed.

For the moment, he slowly slipped fully into the water, waiting for further instructions.

Jack stood upright and manifested an orb of shadow in his left hand, and a shadowy longs word in his right hand, he aimed the sphere at a wall and from the ground came two black figures, they were both taller than jack and held swords of their own,"Bring it on" jack rushed at them, he swung the blade over ones head and brought the flat end onto the others face, he spun around and impaled the first one, which dissolved into air, he turned back to the other and stabed it in the forehead, "let's try something else" jack dispelled the sword and brought the orb into his right hand, which shaped into a scythe, jack swung the blade left and right, he summoned another figure a few feet away and threw his scythe at it, but the scythe failed the reach the target, the target crumbled to dust along with the scythe, jack fell to his knees as his eye became purple like earlier"I hate it when this happens"jack fell over but managed to prop himself up with one arm, after a moment or so he was back on his feet, he was still slightly dizzy, but was okay

(No I'm not throwing the shadow back into this)

"Good. Those of you in the water. Show me what your cable of." the housekeeper told them.

Katherin sat on the side if the pool. She tilted her head to listen. The pool was so echoey. She wasn't sure that she could pinpoint everyone with the way sound bounced around in her. Atleast not until she became more familiar eith the room. For now she was happy just sitting on the sidelines. "I wish I knew where everyone is. How many are in the pool?"

Hearing the housekeeper give her instructions, Brigit tensed up for a bit. She didn't knew anything, rather this was her first time in water. Without her little speech aide she felt helpless in conveying what she wanted. So she just stood near Katherin, walking lightly towards the deeper end as water reached her shoulders and her red tresses floated on the surface like hyacinth. This was as far as her talents could take her currently, she felt a strange force wanting to push her up. She felt like she had lost weight, it was a funny feeling. She was a bit scared and a bit apprehensive.

Upon hearing Katherin's query, she pressed four fingers against her thigh to signify the people around her. She wondered where everyone was.

Jack got up off the ground and shook off the nausea, his head tended to feel like a train wreck at some points after extended use of his power, an apparent, and annoying weakness, jack thought back to the argument about water."Maybe I should try and get in, I might be able to keep calm, maybe"a chill pierced jacks mind as he thought about jumping into the water, he thought about the time when he nearly drowned,The boy never set foot in knee high water again.

Finally, jack came to a decision, he would go into the water after all

"It's official, I've lost my mind now"

Katherin nodded. She wondered where everyone else was. Maybe they weren't in the pool yet. She stood at the edge of the pool. She was worried about moving too much from the edge. So far her power seemed to have no problem with water. She was glad. She had worried that she would freeze the whole pool. That was still a possibility but atleast it hadn't happened yet. She relaxed alittle. "Are you ok Brigit?"

@KatherinWinter Brigit nodded absent-mindedly before realizing Katherin's handicap. With how her own impeded in effectively communicating, she opted to gently press her friend's hand to affirm her well being. The water was surprisingly warm, a bit of a disappointment. Since birth Brigit had been fascinated with Ice and having befriended an Ice Queen like entity she was overjoyed but warm water wasn't on her wish list. She just stood near the edge waiting for further instructions, it wasn't like she knew anything beside standing in water. It was her first time even being in a pool.

Kyo considered exactly what it was that he knew about swimming. It wasn't much, but he knew the very basics. He had been lucky enough to learn at an early age, but it had been some time since he had last gotten to use that knowledge; he hadn't even been much aware of the existence of the pool here, though he decided that it was certainly something good to remember for the future.

Oddly enough, this water felt heavier than he remembered. It felt like it pulled him down against the air in his lungs rather than pushing him up. He floated fine, but he couldn't shake that odd sensation.

Trying his best to ignore it for the moment, the scrawny boy pushed off the bottom of the pool and began treading water. It took a minute to remember how to kick properly, but he figured it out eventually and started thinking about anything else he could remember. There was at least one stroke he knew...how did it go again?

"It looks like most of you know nothing. That is alright. I want you all to grab the edge of the pool and then let your feet float up. Some people will float easier then others. Kick your feet slowly at first. I will walk around and see who needs help." The housekeeper told them.
