Y' what? Aye, we've got rite accen's 'ere in Yorkshire.
<Snipped quote by Wade Wilson>
In Surrey, we treat Northerners in much the same manner that the Brotherhood of Steel treat Ghouls and people with pre-war technology.

pls no its east yorkshire ;-;
Yeah, I think the biggest difficulty for me is going to be backstory- I know fairly little about the UK, but I guess I'll just make a generic wasteland background and see where it goes from there.
<Snipped quote by vietmyke>
It's really not the exotic - it's a western country with a mixed economy. Day to day domestic life would be exactly the same as anywhere else in the developed world, even after a global nuclear apocalypse.
<Snipped quote by TTNoobs>
Lol, its not the culture of the UK thats stumping me, its mainly the geography. I'm currently searching up cities nearby Surrey that my character could've been born in or in the ruins of.
That being said, have any major cities survived/been rebuilt? Sort of like how New Reno was built on top of Reno?
@Wade Wilson
Fellow Yorkshire man are we? :)
(North Yorkshire here)

Degenerates like you belong on a cross!
<Snipped quote by vietmyke>
There are no cities in Surrey (it's a county) - London is on the borders, Southampton and Portsmouth are Nearby. There are lots of motorways ("highways") nearby, though, so you could have come from any city you ever heard of (Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, York etc), or any small settlement.
You guys use Stone or kg for weight?
@Wade Wilson
<Snipped quote by End Here>
I know I am not Wade, but generally we use Stone for weight. If you didn't know, a stone is 14lb or thereabout.
<Snipped quote by SomeChap>
People use stone for weighing people, anything else is usually measured in kg. Trust me, I'm an Engineer, we specialize in pedantic, boring details like this. Using imperial units is rather unscientific.
