Argus Leandros

Argus' question about whether things could be solved peacefully was immediately answered as he felt a surge of rage building behind him, followed by a black orb shooting into the sky, which promptly formed a black poetal overhead, which was quick to dispense a hail of stellar meteorites upon his position. However, thanks to his quick reflexes, he was able to launch himself out of the attack zone with a blast of energy before he really began to take damage. As he landed, he looked up just in time to see Ike summon his spear, readying to throw it at Isla's prone form. Time seem to slow down to a crawl as Argus's mind exploded with rage and pain, the actions of the present over-lapping much too closely with events from the past. He instinctively summoned Crimson Nightmare, pumping magic into the blade's edge as he activated his property change to shift his power from Energy to lightning, before launching a slash towards the spear, sending a speeding blade of black and red lightning rushing forward to catch the spear, easily slicing through it and killing it's momentum.

It wasn't until after the attack had hit that he realized that his breathing had changed from wild and anxious to calm and collected. His emotions and thoughts were orderly, if single-minded, and most importantly, he no longer saw Ike as anything more than a piece of flesh to be cut down.

"Damn. . . I let myself slip." Argus chuckled, a hollow laugh missing any actual cheer as he turned his eyes towards Ike. The rage coming off him was perfect in it's intensity, more than strong enough to make this battle his. With a single inhale, he consumed that energy from Ike in the form of a black and crimson cloud, feeling a rush of euphoria run through him along with the raw emotion pumpimg into his body. The very next second, he blasted himself forward, launching a solid strike with his blade, aiming to slam the dull sword into Ike's gut and pin him to the ground with it, sending a strong pulse of Crimson Lightning into the blade to hopefully paralyze him, either from the pain of the shocks(which would be very, very intense) or the fact that they scrambled the nerves quite a lot. This manuver could possiblely endanger even kill Ike, as the lightning coursing through the blade is sharpening the edge quite a bite. Just an inch too much presdure and his innards would be his outtards.

Carrie
@Oblivion666
"They may have been corrupt, but Phoenix Wing attacked us. How were we to know that they hadn't gone to the dark side? By stepping aside, I could have allowed a dark guild to take over the magic council, to let something else rise. " Carrie pointed out, shaking her head wearily, and then regretting it as her vision swam, and her head span. She judged the distance to the seat, decided it wasn't worth the risk of falling, and stopped pacing. "Perhaps I want to be dead" She said softly, a world of pain in those few words. "Perhaps working is all I have"

Gabriel
@liferusher@lugubrious@oblivion666
Gabriel took in the scene he was welcomed to in the camp, as he hurriedly tried to catch up in what was happening. Yes, he had been briefed on what had occurred to Ike, and that these were people wanted by the guild. But what actually happened? It seemed like the two were being prosecuted without their side coming out. He knew he should side with Ike, but what if Ike had been in the wrong? Should he side with Ike, and forgo justice?

As the situation degraded into fighting, Gabriel just sighed. but as Argus sought to fry Ike, Gabriel said, quite clearly, "Are you thick, or just plain crazy? Murder someone in the camp, and frankly, nothing will save your life" But it seemed that his words weren't heard, as Argus attacked Ike.

A little annoyed, Gabriel stalked over, and Dog formed as he summoned him, the spirit charging Argus, seeking to stop the attack.

Jane Putcher – Frenzy Camp

@Raijinslayer@oblivion666@Caits

The sight of Argus high in the air, holding both Isla and Ike however counter-intuitively, spurred Jane on to the realization that it would not be advisable to underestimate the demon again. She whistled, long and low, in acknowledgment of the troublemaker's ability, and backpedaled quickly to avoid Mehrune's Chain. Pulling the lever to reload her Privateer, she leveled the barrel at Argus even before he began to speak, but -in an effort to avoid ignoring her training- kept her fingers off the trigger. When he spoke, she smirked. ”Yeah. Indigo hobbled her fer her evil-doin'. Yer on the wrong side o' this fight, Argus, and if ya don't stand down this instant, I'm allowed to exact punishment 'ere an' now.”

A contemptuous grimace settled over her face when Isla foolishly attempted to talk her way out of the bed she'd made. Honestly, Jane had half a mind to let Ike go nuts for a few moments to see how far he got. Her sympathies with him lessened, however, when he turned her rage on her. ”I'm sorry that you've suffered, but I can't let anyone die on me watch. If you can't figure out who's a bucko and who's an enemy, I'm takin' you down too.” With a steady hand she shifted her aim toward Ike, only to retreat another few steps to escape his Ebony Starfall. Though forced out of position, she continued to smile, for such a visible display of magic would serve well as the catalyst for Frenzy Plant doing what it did best.

Jane opted to observe cautiously as Argus took action. He intercepted the spear with disturbing ease, but seemed to catch himself shortly after. Meanwhile Gabriel appeared on the scene. Leaning toward him, Jane cautioned, ”This fight won't end in words.” A blur of motion on the edge of her vision caught her attention. ”Here we go.”

The stinging thrust attack of Argus came to an abrupt halt as the blur appeared in front of him, resolving itself to be the southern swordsman, Owen. Into the path of the lightning-infused Crimson Nightmare Owen interceded his shield, taking the full force of the attack. A bellow of pain escaped Owen's mouth as the lightning surged through him, his muscles twitching violently. When it ended a moment later, steam rose from his clothes, and he sank to a knee.

Meanwhile, everyone else had arrived on the scene. Along with Isla, Argus, Ike, Jane, Gabriel, and now Owen, there stood nearby the northerner Joakim Fortinbras, the glazier Ange Bolganone, the archeress Leixia Wuiwomi, and the beastrider Chester Graham. Jane smiled, changed her current ammo type to Scatter Arrows, and called, ”In t' name o' General Sanders
here's one final chance t' stand down! Soldiers, ready aim!”

Joakim pointed his ribcage staff forward, a cold star within the cage's heart beating an ominous hymn of winter. Ange held up her wand, and it danced with sparkling light ready to make glass. Leixia, as might be expected, nocked an arrow and prepared to let fly at Argus. Chester, meanwhile, held something that looked suspiciously like a custom blunderbuss. Jane took aim with her Privateer once again, and Owen managed after a heroic struggle to get to his feet. He lurched a few feet away, keeping his eyes forward and rapier up the whole time. Now, around Ike and Argus in a ring were seven Frenzy Plant soldiers. They ignored Isla, who sat outside the perimeter.

Someone as standoff-savvy as a former pirate did not, however, wait for the situation to erupt. ”Makers, give them some time t' cool off! Now!”

At once, both B-rank soldiers let loose. A wave of ice spewed forth from Joakim's staff, and from Ange's wand came an outpouring of glittering particles. In only a moment, they would stop both miscreants cold in a dual coating of glass and ice. If they jumped, however, Jane's revolver cannon already faced upward, ready to discharge far more lethal Scatter Arrows into any airborne targets.

Adamine

After standing in the Phoenix Wing stands for a while and watching the games take place Adamine blew out a sigh, feeling upset Adamine left the stands with her hood over her face and her robes wrapped around her tightly. She tried not to think about how her life would be if Adiaan was still alive, and not evil, shuffling down the street she decided she was hungry, veering into the nearest restaurant she sat down and ordered a sandwich and nursed a iced lemonade.

Emory
@Oblivion666 @Zarkun

Emory thought about what Hikage said, he could just go and ask for the guild master like she said, with a slow nod Emory smiled at Hikage "Alright YeAh, I'll go and see if I can talk to Dragon Fangs guild leader, and if they tell me to wait I'll just come back after the games, thanks Hikage, I'll catch you around sometime hopefully!" with an energetic wave he jogged toward the Dragon Fangs stands only to realize just how far away they really were, glancing around him he flashed a grin and teleported into he stands, it always happened so fast people rarely knew what had happened, glancing around he looks for the guild leader of Dragon Fang.

Isla

"Urusai baka!" Isla yelled out before trowing a nearby rock at Ike. The effort didn't even matter since such a simple rock couldn't possibly hurt Ike in any way now he is like this. But she was just so mad at him for having Argus involved in this. Isla gave Ike an angry stare but it would probably not help to stop him from doing the things he wanted to do when he was still back in the painting "Urusai, urusai, urusai!" She yelled out as she continued throwing loose objects at Ike, but when he came closer a terrified look spread over Isla her face. The rock throwing didn't seem to help much and he was actually quite intimidating now he was able to really hurt her. Ike didn't only seemed to have grown stronger while he was stuck in the pocket dimension but also grew a terrible hate towards the young girl. No he didn't just want to hurt her now, but torture her to death and most likely put her through the most miserable time of her life. She stammered backwards with her leg dragged behind her as she attempted to move away from the terrifying mage. She did not even have time to notice that Argus was being attack but rather focused on the big black pointy object that would pierce right through her frail body like it was cloth if she didn't do something now this instant.

She poked up her brush towards Ike as flailing sparks flew off from the brush and slowly dropped towards the ground. Time almost seemed to slow down as the spear was launched at Isla. She pressed her eyes closed and covered her head with her empty hand as Argus launched some kind of cool looking attack just before Isla could be hit by the spear. The spear was deflected away but left Isla in awe as she opened her eyes again. She poked up her brush again to discover it had been cut clean in two. She trembled out off fear by sensing Ike his killer instinct but he was cut off his path by the frenzy plant soldiers who stopped all of the ones fighting except for Isla. Isla sat outside of the circle of soldiers and had to think up something that would help her fix this damned chaos.

The soldiers were ordered to stop the ones that were fighting except for Isla. They all launched an ice attack at the same time to freeze them almost instantly so that they wouldn't be hurting each other any more. The air filled with ice particles and the area where the ice attack came from grew colder by the second. Isla grinned and thought of this being the end of Ike his revenge. Isla grinned a little and slowly shoved her body backwards away from the commotion. Now she wasn't in the spotlight anymore it was time to hide somewhere where they would leave her alone.

Ike Tsugi

Ike laughed as he dodged the projectiles Isla was throwing yet quickly frowned and growled a bit when his spear was destroyed by Argus who escaped his attack, he saw it coming but to escape without a single hit. He was being too kind to the fucker, he would just have to make it bigger next time. Yet the man decided to attack him which was fine by him, he could tell the man got a bit of a power boost but it was nowhere comparable to his own which just kept building up the longer he went on. Alas though before Ike could block it Owen appeared blocking the attack and letting out pained sounds, this caused Ike to stare and shake his head. "I was fine you idiot." Ike spoke before holding his hand up only to see the circle forming around them, which made Ike lower his hand and simply stare at all of them. One of them sounded like they were on his side, Gabriel he believed. The rest however were just as quick to label him an enemy, why did they keep getting in his way!?

Ike stared at the ring around them and then his eyes widened as he began to raise his hand. "Oh don't you dare you litt-" Yet before he could finish Isla had already escaped out of his sight, which made Ike just stare blankly despite the frenzy plant members firing off their attacks. ".... You see what you did? You got in my way and now....." Ike grit his teeth before suddenly yelling quite loudly and would vanish into his own energy which erupted from him and fired off into the sky in a pillar of darkness. It protected him from the makers attacks and when it vanished Ike was just standing there breathing heavily before looking at Argus, and everyone else. If it was just Argus and Jane, then sure. A couple more maybe, yet when this many were bent on stopping him he knew it would end in his loss. Yet quite frankly he didn't care, he was far too pissed no one could see why he was doing this. They only cared about Sander's freaking orders, they didn't see a comrade who just went through hell and wanted revenge. So even if he loss.... he didn't quite care.

Ike took a deep breath in and raised his hands. "Its been one day for you guys, yet for me its been so much longer...Months... Hell maybe its been a year, I don't fucking know. All I know is that when I came out and just wanted revenge.... my friends denied me that all because of orders. So you know what guys?" Ike said as he just gave everyone the middle finger. A mass of black energy then formed around Ike as he seemingly grew in size, and when it finished he was a much bigger person, that looked more beast like than anything. "Instead of tearing Isla apart, I'll just beat you all fucking senseless!!!" Ike shouted before charged right at the Ice and Glass makers swing his left arm right at them with full force.

(Note he didn't turn into a beast, this is just his energy in the form of a beast. Really hes just in the chest area.)

Cody nodded silently as he watched the smoke dragon until it disappeared.
"So what now?" He turned back to Jayce and asked. Now that their spar was done, and the courtyard repaired they didn't really have a lot to do.
Well he could stay in the courtyard till Mayt and James got back anyway. Suppose they could go and check up on Jasmine, make sure she hadn't wandered off somewhere.
Cody froze suddenly. How hadn't he noticed all these magical power being used around the city earlier? These eerie magical powers...Dark guild wizards.
He turned to Jayce to see if he had sensed the magical powers as well, suddenly concerned for just about everyone in the guild right now.

Angela Arthur James Jessica

Arthur nodded in agreement at Janna's statement. No magic within the stadium is a VERY good idea, because of many a reason. Main reason is that they don't want to drag unnecessary attention to themselves.
"That works too." Arthur said as he nodded again before taking Janna's hand to lead them through the crowds.
"Hang on tight Angela, it would be a shame if you got lost." Arthur said with a slight chuckle. Angela stuck her tongue out at Arthur in response before gripping Janna's hand with both of hers in a vice-like grip.
Eventually they got through the crowds and over to where James and Jessica were sitting and munching on some popcorn. James looked up as the trio approached them and waved again.
"There you guys are, been waiting for a while." James said in a nonchalant tone before munching on some more popcorn. James statement made Arthur twitched slightly but he decided against responding to that obvious taunt.
"Popcorn?" Jessica asked as she turned to face the others, stretching her hand out to offer them some popcorn from the box she was holding.
Angela nodded before letting go of Janna's hands and grabbing a handful of popcorn, throwing it into her mouth in individual pieces while taking a seat.

Zephyr Hardt

"Thats a good point, I'm guessing at that point you were blind to the corruption, or you couldn't see it? From a stupid view, I'd say you relaxing is a good thing. You relax and a corrupt council gets destroyed. You just got to stop thinking about the negatives, you let them run your life and only them. Everyone has bad memories, hell even one of my guild friends has a horrible past. Sure she isn't the most cheerful person around, but from what I seen she doesn't let destroy her life." He said and would stay silent as she spoke again, this time his childish expression quickly replaced with anger. "Then I'd tell you that's freaking retarded! You think anyone wants that? You think your loved ones would want you to do that? I get that its painful for you Carrie, but working yourself to death won't solve anyone's problems not even yours."

Zephyr said his bit then walked up besides her and easily scooped her up and off her feet and resumed walking. "Don't struggle, just tell me where this Masahiko or whatever his name is, is currently at. I'm going to make him demand you rest and relax and get a chance to clear your head." Zephyr told her now more so retaining his annoyed look than his happy one.

As the situation continued to escalate out of control, Gabriel gave a heavy sigh, wondering if he could do anything to simply put a stop to all this. The dragon might be a good choice, but Gabriel hadn't had a chance to work with him since gaining the spirit the day before. Rat might be good.

There was always Koda. Perhaps the cute bear spirit might put a stop to the fighting for a few seconds at least. Gabriel just didn't know. But he knew one thing, fighting would only serve to bring about some dead bodies. And before he knew what he was doing, Gabriel darted in front of Ike, forcing the Mage to either stop his attack, or attack Gabriel.

"why seek revenge when it will only make you just like the people who harmed you?" he demanded, planting his feet, he stared at Ike, any fear he might have had was gone, as he watched Ike barrel down towards him. What was he going to do, pick up a stick and throw it at Ike? Dog growled but Gabriel didn't spare the spirit a glance, as he waited for either pain or Ike to stop.

carrie

Carrie didn't get a chance to say anything else as Zephyr swung her off her feet, earning cry, and she immediately began to struggle. "put me down, you, you, you man child!" she said, finding no way of escape, almost hysterical now.

She shocked herself with tears, as she tried to hit Zephyr anywhere she could to escape, but her hits were weak, almost child like as she sought to find a way to dry her tears.

Well she instantly started to struggle although he kind of predicted that, yet since she was really just running on fumes the struggle was not real at all. It was more like her just moving. So he just smiled at her words and shook his head at her. "Nope, you are going to rest one way or another. Even if I have to make your boss restrain you so thats all you can do. So where is he, otherwise I'll just walk around all day long carrying you? Trust me when I say that I can do that, you aren't exactly heavy for it to burden me." Zephyr said not even fazed at all by the hits she was doing, if anything they made him chuckle a bit.

Mors vincit omnia

(Death conquers all)

Ferrin, Colt and Claire

Ferrin lead the Twin to a quieter part of town where there were several places selling food of various sorts, like a fair. Ferrin walked up to one, manned by an old lady with a fan and ordered food. "That will be 2,100 jewel." She said (Thats about $21) Ferrin winced slightly as he pulled out his wallet, opened it and a fly buzzed out. He only had about 3,001 left. With a mental sigh he handed the money over. As he turned away, the old lady called to him. "Young man, is that for the child over there?" She asked, pointing her fan at Colt (or Claire). "Yeah." He answered. "Here then." The old lady said, handing him back his money. "Buisness has been good lately, and that poor kid looks absolutely starving. Besides," She said, squinting at him. "You don't seem the type to have a lot of money." Mentally, Ferrin felt crushed. Thanks He thought, sarcastically. But out loud he said, "Thank you, very much." as he took the offered money.

He brought the food back to a table with two chairs and an umbrella where Claire (he could tell by the eyes) sat. He placed the food infront of here and she dug in, ravenously. She was halfway through before she stopped to breath. "So, uh...tell me about yourselves and how you ended up...like that. Ferrin said. Inside their shared mind space, Colt and Claire were thinking back and forth. "Do we have to tell him?" Claire thought to Colt"Of course, he seems trust worthy enough." Colt thought back. Ferrin was able to evesdrop on this, with his telepathy but he didn't mention that fact to them. Finaly, Claire said, "Alright, I'll tell you. But the moment you do something cowardly, I will kill you." She threatened. Ferrin was amused by the thought. "Consider me warned," He said "But what, pray tell, is the justifaction behind this dire warning of ill intent?" A vein pop appeared on Claire's head. "This one is amusing. May I kill him, dear brother?" Claire thought. Colt would have rolled his eyes if he could. "No, Claire." Claire sighed. Their eyes changed to blue. "I will explain if you don't mind." Colt said. "I really don't have time to tell you all of it, but the short version is, we were merged into one body in an exparament by a Wizard and when we tryed to escape, we were put under a Retrogression Curse. I assume you know what that is?" Ferrin leaned forward, intrigued. "Yes, its a lost magic that alows the caster to lower the physical abilities, as well as the magical power of the target. As a side effect, it makes the target look like a younger version of themselves. But, that magic, as far as I know, is very temporary, how is it that it has not worn off yet?" Colt nodded, "That is the eighty-four million Jewel question. But, that is not the reason we came here. Ferrin raised an eyebrow. Colt started, We came here because......because there is a Necomancer trying to takeover the world." Claire finished. Ferrin leaned back in his chair, staring to put a few things together. "So that is why you were so hesitaint to tell me. First, a child going around telling people that a Necromancer was on the loose would never gain much credibility. Second, you had to choose someone powerful enough To Do Something About It but selfless enough to do it." Claire looked shocked. "You...believe us?" She asked incredulously. Ferrin grinned, and said "Yeah, I don't need the facts to back it up, besides, you have no reason to lie, and nothing you have said so far has lead me to believe you are lying. A friend once told me to follow my heart more often, and my heart is telling me that you are being honest." He paused. "Now tell me more about this Necromancer, what does he plan to do and what is his goal?" He said. "We aren't really sure---" Colt was interupted by a rumble and a loud scream. Four not-quite human-looking skeletons, with swords and shields tore through the ground. A fifth, classier-looking and very tall skeleton with a cane and an afro approached. As it got closer, Ferrin could see a purple glow in it's eyesockets. It opened its mouth and a voice, curiously feminine, slithered out. "No, no, that won't do." She said.

Everyone around them back away from the nightmareisn apparition. "So, I assume that you are the Necromancer?" Ferrin said, calmly. That creepy voice echoed from the skeleton's open mouth, "By proxy, yes. Unfortunately, I am on a schedule and can't chat. Will you be a dear and die quickly?" "What a coincidence, so am I." Ferrin said. "If it's all the same to you, can you stop playing sock puppet with the omega Nosferatu and skip to the part where you try to kill us? I am a busy man, after all. I have places to go, people to see, lunatics to stop." Colt stared at him. "Are you drunk or something, Ferrin?" Ferrin just smiled and winked at him. The Necromancer laughed, an odd, vibrating laugh that was not plesent at all. "Its a shame to kill one as funny as you, perhaps I will reanimate you so I can kill you again and again... At an unspoken que, the four skeletons started forward. "I would say 'over my dead body' but that would be going to far." Ferrin quipped as he pulled his Gauntlet out of his pocket and cast Aether Enhance without having to consiously think about it. The skeleton warriors charged.

Bony 1 thrust its sword at Ferrin. He side-stepped and threw a punch at it, which it blocked with it's sheild. It swung it's scimtar in a murderous overhand. Ferrin raised his Gauntlet and angled it to the side, so its sword was deflected. Ferrin again punched, but he let a blast out from the elbow that propelled it with more force. The punch shattered it's sheild and sent it flying. Ferrin's instincts sceamed a warning and he dropped to avoid a horizantal slash from Bony 2. Ferrin spun and swepped his leg sideways, knocking the skeleton's leg bones off and the torso clattered to the ground. Ferrin sprung to his feet and shouted "Flare!" The skeleton exploded in a fireball. The last two were converging on the kid. Ferrin extended his arm and let loose with a barrage of bullets on the skeleton furthest away from the kid, to minimise the chance of one hitting it. Obviously, most of them missed, but a few struck it's shoulders and one struck it's arm bone, shattering them. Ferrin turned as the other one had its sword raised to stike. "Frost Touch!" Colt shouted. There was a flash of cold, that even Ferrin could feel and the Skeleton froze in place. Ferrin walked over to it and saw that it was covered in a thin, but very hard layer of ice. Colt was close to it, with his hand on it's rib cage, panting slightly. "I am impressed, so you are wizards too?" Ferrin asked. "Y-yeah," Colt said. I use ice magic and Claire uses fire." He staired at his hand. "I wasn't sure if I still had enough magic left to to that." "Well, I would hate to interrupt, buuut, I belive the situation has changed." Said the Necromancer. "Maybe the curse is slipping?" Ferrin suggested. "Maybe..." Colt said, thoughtfully. They are ignoring me! The Necromancer realized. "Hey! I have a hostage here!" Ferrin looked over. "Oh dear." He sighed. Then the realization of what that ment set in. "Oh shit." The skeleton, diected by the Necromancer had drawn his sword-cane and had it pressed against a woman's neck.

There was a long moment of silence. Ferrin stared unblinkingly at the skeleton's empty eyes. Claire stood slightly behind him, unsure of what to do. In order to buy time, Ferrin spoke up. "So, what do you want? The kid? Me? The secret to the universe?" She laughed. "Nothing so dramatic. All I need is both of you. Dead of course. Dead men tell no tales and all. I can't have you warning the Magic Council of my plans. All you need to do is not move, as a professional courtesy, I will make it quick and painless as possible." The remaining skeletons got back up, one with a broken sheild, one whose bones were burnt and blacked and one with a broken arm. "They are like cockroaches." Ferrin muttered.

"Move and she dies." The cold voice of the necromancer said through the skeleton. What now? Colt thought. If we fight, we will let an innocent die. If we don't, we, and thousands of others will die. What should we do...? The skeletons shuffled forward raising their weapons the attack. Suddenly, Ferrin started laughing. He started quietly, but he got louder slowly. "What is so funny?" The necromancer hissed. Still rolling with laughter, Ferrin answered, "You...haha, you actually think that will work? Thats so cute, I want to put you in my pocket. You made a big mistake." "And what mistake is that?" The necromancer asked. Ferrin spin and backhanded the frozen skeleton, shattering it into pieces, shouting The mistake of assuming that I am some bleeding heart hero!" He lifted his Gauntlet and pointed one mechanical finger at the skeleton. "You think one life is worth thousands of others? You think, I would just let you kill me and wreck untold havoc for one life, whom you will probably kill anyways? Then think again! If you kill that woman, I will come after you, I will pick up every weapon at my disposal, every magic that I know, no matter the cost, I will find you, and I will unmake you, and everything you live for. And then, after that, I will PERSONALLY, send you straight to hell." He smiled a dangerous smile as he paused to let that sink in. "So, son, there's one question you should be askin' yourself...Do ya' feel lucky? Well, do ya', punk?" Ferrin said, his manner of speech deviating from his usual formal tones. The skeleton's bony face remained impassive. The necromancer, whose name was Yuura, weighed her options. Either let them all live now, or kill the girl and provoke this dangerous man. She had no doubt in her mind that he was willing and capable of doing just that. Colt and Claire were shocked at Ferrin's bold ploy. He has got to be bluffing, right? Claire thought to Colt. Something tells me he is not. Colt responded. We picked one hell of a dangerous man to help us." "Yeah, I'm glad he is on our side." Yuura came to a conclusion. "Get them!" She snarled at the trio of skeletons, as she directed the skeleton she was using to release the woman and retreat. "Aether Construct Magic! Titan's Grip!" Ferrin shouted, holding out his Gauntlet arm. A massive, silvery hand appeared, mimicking his movements. He sweept his hand right to left, scooping up all three skeletons, and then he crushed them in a giant fist. He ground them up a little and opened the hand, letting bone dust trickle to the ground.

"There, now that that is done, lets move before she sends more minions." Ferrin said to his companion, who was staring at him slack-jawed, as he started walking away. Colt and Claire hurried to catch up with his angry stride.

Argus Leandros

Luckily for the man blocking his attack, Argus has good control of hus magic and he had a good shield, cause if Argus hadn't pulled back some of his magic at the last second, he likely would've cut into his arm, if not take it clean off. As is, the poor idiot got off lucky as Argus backed off, lookin around to find that the scuffle seemed to have escalated beyond reason. Before he could tell them off for intervening, he found himself encased with glass and ice up to his neck. A cute, but lackluster attempt to restrain someone with his abilities, as he cast Crimson God's Blessing, imbuing the prison with his magic and causing it to take deep red glow before shattering, unable to handle the destructive energies being pushed into them. Now free of his bonds, Argus set his sights on Ike, who ignored him, the secondary cause of Isla's not so surprising escape(Ike's own reckless actions being the primary cause) in lieu of attacking his own comrades, one of which doing the foolish thing of trying to reason with the psychopath.

Without sparing anytime for thought, Argus cloaked himsekf in a veil of Electrical energy, than blasted forward, lashing out with his blade, which he also charged with magic, to cut through the construct's leg. With his Lightning forms high offensive output, plus the intensity of the concentration on the edge thanks to the amount of rage and blood/battle-lust emanatimg from Ike, his blade should have little trouble slicing through the energy-constructed limb like butter. Continuing his forward momentum, he'd knock the foolish idiot out of the way, turning around to launch another attack, dispelling Crimson Nightmare so as to free up his hands, which were now sparking with black and red lightning.

"Crimson God's Thundering Pulse!!!" Argus screamed out, his demonic red eyes seeming to glow with exhilaration aa he thrust forth his palms, sending out two large shockwaves of concussive electrical energy, aiming to blast back and (hopefully) paralyze/stun the crazed hothead inside. After the attack, Argus would follow it up by launching a empowered Crimson God Raging Bellow towards enegy mage, switching the property from lightning to energy so as to lower the lethality of the attack, which had the added bonus of launching him away from the foe in case Ike wasn't one to go down easy.

As Argus landed amongst the others, who hopefully would turn and try to attack him right now, he realized with a sigh of slight relief that he seemed to have regained his senses, no longer wanting to kill the fellow guild member as he had before. He did, however, want him to get up so he could lay into him some more, the mage's anger and blood/battle-lust seeping into his own emotion and making him icth for a fight. Hopefully, this ordeal would be over soon, or else he could end up losing himself again to his old gladiatorial ways.

Wes Gusto

Location: Crocus Street

Wes found it strange about how his memory could be blocked already. Although it has been a few months, not knowing what happened in Edolas, another world, seemed really odd. Feels like anyone would remember their experience from another world. But I would probably be a bad statement from me since I had a similar thing happen to me while in Edolas. Somewhat disappointed, he folded his arms in front himself and spoke to Mayt. "And I was really hoping you would remember. But I suppose I can't be too upset about it. Especially since I had amnesia when I entered Edolas and only regained my memory when I came back here in Earthland. Shutler would probably know I'm already in Crocus soon, if not now. If I went to the guild's hotel now, he would probably aware that I'm trying to get a search party for him."

Nonetheless, Wes rose his hand to rub his chin, thinking on what else to do. There was always finding Jamie or Jarvis, but it's probably better that he leave them out since the last time he talked to them, it wasn't good terms when he left. He was glad that he remembered Mayt, but from Wes can remember, he didn't recognize the other Phoenix Wing guild members that in Edolas. Probably because they might of joined after he fell into Edolas. The guild might be of some help since some of the members probably fought Shutler, but perhaps others wizards could help. The only down side is that's just more people at risk. "I know you told me that you can't remember what happened in Edolas. But do you remember the guild members that were with you when you arrived back in Earthland? Or know any wizards that could help go against Shutler? We would have to act fast because he uses shadows and darkness to his advantage. We'll be too late for any attempts of capturing him once night arrives and darkness falls."

Trinity Stratos

@Caits@Silver Fox
"'Full on'? Like... all day every day? You'll melt all the snow on the mountain like that, y'know." Trinity looked at Penny with a bit of amazement, though she also had to wonder if that's what she meant. Maybe it was an odd slip of the tongue? "I trained with Fleo some, but besides that... I played long and hard in a few different squares and plazas. I've been training with my Bard's magic to increase my concentration and magic pool. I can play more instruments at once now, too." It was a little bit of pride, for her.

They were just passing Karn in the Arena's entry tunnel. Trinity knew he'd hear them, probably even their footsteps. The distraction of conversation was more to help herself maintain an air of non-interest.

Karn || Outside the Grand Magic Games Stadium

@Amaya Yashia@Oblivion666

Karn listened to the apparent Guild member thoughtfully, resting his cheek against his palm as his emerald gaze drifted upward toward the sky. Thoughtful, the mask of emotionless calm melting slightly to something of... Loss.

"Yeah... But the problem is... There are parts of the past that I wish were alive... But torn away... And may be demolished." he murmured, barely audible before the masked calmness returned and he gave a teasing smile as he glanced to her.

"But if you want to help distract me, I wouldn't mind a kiss." he chuckled, winking a little before stretching a bit. Nodding in agreement with the one eyed man's proposal. "Yeah that sounds great. I'll probably have to make it quick so I dont miss anything too important." he said before he glanced to Amaya as she mentioned Guild Members.

Nose twitching as he tried to use his heightened sense of smell to distinguish the scents. It was difficult, there were so many in the air. Most unfamiliar. A odd feeling when one can't even feel secure by the smell of the enviroment. There were definitely a few smells that did seem familiar, and of course it was the gossipy duo. With the bonus of the genderbent Hotrod. Perfect. More trippy business.

He could hear their footsteps and soon he could see them from the corner of his eye. And soon they were passing by. He could pretty much bet that they came around looking for him and were playing off they weren't. But he decided to do the same and just ignore them, so he stood up and started walking.

"Yeah, come on let's go. Hope you both can hold your liquor." he said with a slight grin.

Penny
@Silver Fox@CirusArvennicus
"It wasn't just using my fire abilities. It's good to focus on weaknesses, and I foused on actual fighting, hand to hand, and weapon training. I might find myself one day without the use of my magic, for soe reason or another." Penny explained, "Maybe I'll show you a few tricks, one day, that I learned" If she could only get the fire weapons to stay formed for more then a handful of attacks, that was. "That sounds like some good training"

This was just ridiculous, pretending that they weren't looking for Karn, while Karn was pretending to ignore them. They would get no where. And Penny was tired of games, tired of manipulates, and tired of so much happening.

And it was raining. Karn was almost horrifyingly afraid of water, And there was no reaction to the wet substance falling from the sky. That was all the answer Penny needed. Even if the rain was dying off, it told her that whoever that was, it wasn't their Karn.

"Let's just get this over with, because I really don't want to play cat and mouse all day. Who the hell are you, and what are you doing within our friend?" Penny decided not to mince her words, simply cut straight to the point.

Carrie
@oblivion666@demous
Carrie absoutely refused to tell Zephyr where Masahiko was, deciding that even if it was childish, she would force him to walk about the whole city, and just hope that they avoided Masahiko. Eventually someone would think to question just why a man was walking around with a woman who clearly didn't wish to be carried.

"Find him yourself" She hissed out as she tried to turn around, tried to do anything to escape, but failing horribly. She was also trying to prevent a communication lacrima from falling out a pocket, as that was a quick link to Masahiko. Of course, so was the arena, but the lacrima was right there.

"Why the hell are you doing this, damn it!"

Karn || Outside the Grand Magic Games Stadium

@Amaya Yashia@Caits@CirusArvennicus

Karn glanced toward the genderbent Pen as she walked up to them and spoke to him directly. Asking the question he knew would eventually be said. Though it did take long enough. He really was not in the mood for this, but he also knew there was little to avoid it. Glancing up, he allowed the rain to hit against his face, uncaring if he got soaked with rain water. The rain felt nice and calming, despite how many find it depressing and gloomy. It had a nice smell. Yet even in this world, the rain smelled different in a way. Blonde hair sticking to his face, he lightly brushed a few strands away from his emerald gaze that looked to her in a calm emotionless serious look. He glanced toward Amaya for a moment.

"Apologies, seems they finally want to question me. I'd much prefer the drink though." he mused before looming closer to the red head. Looking up at her from his short position as he stared at her before looking her up and down. Lips ever so slightly tightening together before he raised his hands and promptly gripped the two orbs on her chest. "This is not fair." he stated. Twitching as he glanced to his left to see Pen just burst out laughing hysterically.

"Holy shit! Look at that! Guess I make a pretty hot chick! Just look at that rack and ass! Guess in no matter the world, I still rock it!" The fake Pen laughed loudly, Karn giving a narrowed look and dropping his hands. "Awe... but you... you get a dick. Looks like you can never be a real girl in either world Little Robot!" he laughed.

Karn glared toward him but didn't say anything. Waiting for the genderbent Pen to react and probably slap him, freak out, stand there shocked, or pound him into the ground. It's not like he didn't expect those sorts of reactions when he did that. Just that he didn't give a crap about the consequences at that point. Maybe he almost wanted to cause a ruckus just so he could be pounded to the ground. In order to wake up from the nightmare. Even though that was just soundless hope when reality was right there punching him in the face.

Taking a deep breath, he brushed himself off and crossed his arms over his chest, standing straight and tall as he looked at them. "I am Karn. I am Karnrad V. Skywalker. Sergeant Major of Phoenix Wing. Specialty, technician and mechanics. Third in Command. Pleasant to meet you." she answered, emerald gaze looking at them before at the sky then them again.

"I am the soul reason Karn of Earthland is not dead right now and you didn't find a corpse in his bedroom. His state of spirit posed weak against mine and I assumed control in a natural flow. He's still in here, but it's taking concentration to not completely overpower him and wipe him out from existence." he explained before taking a deep breath.

"There. Satisfied. Or do you want more grizzly details?" she said, voice a eerie calm as she looked at the Earthlanders.

Jacob Conners -- Magic Games
It didn’t take long for jacob to get out of the tunnels below the old stadium, though he still chided himself on losing so much time down there. When he finally got out of the tunnels there was only twenty minutes left, at most. Jacob wasted no time transforming into a bird and taking off, flying to the other places marked with X’s on his map. The first one, no matter how much he looked, didn’t have any lacrima anywhere, though he saw where it might’ve been. The one after provided the same result, and at that point Jacob was starting to get nervous. He had spent a lot of time exploring these to places and they provided nothing towards him winning the event, and he was running out of time at this point.

He checked the last spot on his map, figuring that one had to have a lacrima, and he transformed back into his hawk form, beginning to get tired from the constant transformations and flight and running. Fortunately, before long, he was where the second to last spot on his map indicated. It was an abandoned building of some sort. Jacob couldn’t figure out exactly what the purpose for it had been, but it didn’t matter now. He pushed his way through the door and looked around. The room seemed to be some kind of reception room, or maybe it had been a dollar store? There weren’t any shelves, but the counter didn’t look like one you’d see in, say, a hotel. Sitting behind a glass pane was an orange lacrima, lighting up the room.

Jacob grinned, thinking this would be an easy smash-and-grab, Grand Animal Soul:Ape! Nothing happened. He growled, and glared at the orange lacrima, figuring it must be what was blocking his magic. Taking a breath to calm down, he moved up to the desk, remaining in his normal ol’ human form. Checking for hidden buttons and such, he found nothing that might free the lacrima. Sighing, he walked conceded to exploring the structure for the way to get to lacrima. He was getting anxious as to his lack of time when he finally found the hidden door above the lacrima that allowed him to finally retrieve it. Sighing, he stuffed it in his pack with the other eight lacrima he had, before beginning to head back out of the building, muttering about how little time he had left to deal with distractions and problems. Such as a lacrima stopping him from using his magic, or places on his map having absolutely nothing of value.

"Gamble"

These two both seemed to have their own problems to deal with, judging by Amaya's wanting to help Karn with his problems. Yet could her words be true just like that? The past was a hard thing to escape, mostly with what one has done. Yet they both took his directions as a chance to invite him along which made him smile but shake his head. "I shouldn't, I have things I should get done before the games finish. I appreciate the offer though." Gamble said before Amaya pointed out fellow guild members approaching, sure enough they did but what happened next was just confusing to Gamble. First the guild members questioned Karn about not being Karn? Karn just straight up groped the female which caused Gamble to be a bit startled before he started talking about a bunch of stuff. Gamble who was utterly lost looked at Amaya for an answer to the mans sudden weird behavior. Phoenix Wing was certainly a strange guild, hell their problems might even top his or whatever this was.

@Caits
Zephyr Hardt

"Alright I can do that." Zephyr said ignoring her futile struggling, if she wanted to be stubborn then fine by him. He could be stubborn as hell too and unlike her, he had the energy for it. So when she asked why the hell he was doing it, he looked down at her before looking up. "Because I care for one thing, and for another... I would be no better than a dark mage if I just let you continue on like that. I wouldn't be able to call myself a proud member of Dragon Fang if I just let you work yourself to death, when just maybe I can change that mindset. So please. Just relax and tell me where he is." Zephyr asked looking down at her with a pleading look in his eyes. He really just wanted her to relax and not work herself to death, sure she was sad but this was not the answer for the problem.

Mayt Marris -- Crocus Streets
Mayt chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck as Wes talked, looking a bit nervous. ”Less I have amnesia, more magic memory manipulation.” He’d say with a little bit of a smile, before dropping his hand back down into his coat pocket, and listening to the rest of Wes’ speel. ”Who would be best to help? Well, uhm… I know Penny, Sasha, Lazarus, and Trinity were all in Edolas as well from the conversation I had with Sasha afterwards. Oh, and Jarvis, of course. I have no idea who would be best to fight him though, other than maybe Lazarus due to his, uh, light based attacks.” The energy mage would shrug here, clearly having trouble focusing his thoughts on Edolas down to a few coherent ones. ”Overall, I’m sure you could find some people willing to help. Phoenix Wing has gotten a lost of new members lately, and I’m sure we’d be willing to help, and there are also a few other light guilds around due to the magic games.”
