Personality: Eli is a businessman, through and through. Be he a product of his environment or a natural born entrepreneur, he is cold, cunning, and always willing to make a deal. Only two things matter to Eli, money and himself. He is not only willing, but sometimes happy to screw over others for his own gain, a quality that left him with few friends and even less family. Though he isn’t an idiot, and as such will make minor concessions to ensure a better outcome in the long run.

Brief History: Raised by a foster family until he was old enough to join his real family’s business, Eli doesn’t have much in terms of familial bonds. The people he thought were his family were killed and the people who claimed to be his real family afterwards were the ones who had done it. “Kids don’t have a place in the family business,” they’d say. The family business being a huge, and very illegal, trade network that dealt in arms, drugs, people, and anything else someone might want to buy that they couldn’t get at their local department store.

Eli, as stated earlier, was a natural when it came to business. As such he quickly caught the eye of his uncle, the main ringleader. He started off as a regular thug like anyone else (the Corr’s abhorred nepotism) and learned how to fight, shoot, and kill. After he established himself as a capable criminal, he was brought up into the main fold of the company, the business part of it. This is where he excelled, quickly rising in the ranks through talent, determination, and a little backstabbing.

Eventually he found himself at the head of the business at the ripe age of 27. He was second in command to his uncle, but he didn’t intend to stay second for long. A daring coup attempt, foiled by the one person he thought he trusted in the company, left him in the custody of the authorities. But at least he was alive, right?

Personality: Cold and ruthless, Makarid has no qualms about breaking a few necks to speed things along. He has a certain predatory grace to him, and conducts himself with the deadly charisma of a jungle cat. His poker face is unparalleled, and it is almost impossible to tell when he’s lying. He holds himself well, and his exterior is one of class and traditional values.

Brief History: Born whilst the world was still pulling itself from the ashes of a time of war and terrorism, Makarid was raised in a small UN encampment just outside of Moscow, which the organization was using to spearhead its reclamation of Eastern Europe. Resources were scarce, and the surrounding area was ripe with crime and debauchery.

Makarid’s first job was working in a krokodil den, where he would aid in the production and packaging of the lethal substance, under the watchful eye of a man known as Uncle Ortov. Using the money raised from working in the drug den, Makarid managed to put himself through higher education; purchasing his own books and equipment to aid in his study of law and politics.

In the post-terrorist phase, the Prime imposed government in Russia was one of a capitalist nature, which did not sit well with many traditionalists, Makarid included. Joining one of the many socialist parties, Makarid used his cunning to rise through the ranks and gain a larger following for the movement, exercising exclusively peaceful means so as not to provoke the wrath of the UN.

After several years of campaigning, Makarid Ristachev became President of the Russian Federation, ushering in a traditional communist government.

Ristachev’s shady dealings and practices made him a source of constant criticism from the Western World, but his entrepreneurial mindset brought nothing but wealth and prominence to the Federation.
Eventually Makarid’s dark schemes were brought to light, and a Prime-backed revolution swept the country. The Kremlin was stormed, and Makarid himself was strung up from a lamppost, left for dead. It was then that he earned the moniker ‘Hanged Man’.

A few of Makarid’s loyalists retrieved his corpse, and managed to repair his broken neck with hyper-advanced technology, and get his brain back into a functional state.

Much debate exists as to what exactly happened whilst Makarid teetered on the verge of death, but the ex-President would claim to have received some sort of vision from his innermost self, telling him that humanity as a whole was a lost cause, and that he would be better served looking out for his own interests. Many would write off this vision as his oxygen-starved brain sending him into a dream-like state, but Makarid would go on to live by the words imparted to him in his vision.

Makarid and his followers spent the next few years committing all manner of horrendous crimes, purely for their own personal gain. Abandoning morality completely, they stole and murdered their way across the country, until they were eventually apprehended, and Makarid was locked away in the Apox Centre.

Crime Committed:
Serious cybercrime: breaking into hundreds of secured computers and servers and stealing terabytes of confidential UN data. Creator of some of the most destructive malware known to the cyberspace, including the Virus that infiltrated the impenetrable Prime system.

Personality:
A very dedicated and hard-working individual, who never leaves goals unfinished. Unfortunately, he has been struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder ever since adolescence. His impulsiveness and uncontrollable emotions quickly wrecked any kind of social relationship he maintained and he developed an introvert albeit very cynical personality, figuratively biting those who even try to come close to him emotionally. His aforementioned dedication now appears in the form of cold ruthlessness instead of just simple enthusiasm. He also has the capability of completely 'spacing out' of reality (mostly at will but sometimes impulsively) and focus on one thing and one thing only - in this state absolutely nothing can pull him back out until he is done with whatever he took into his head.

Brief History:
Jake always had exceptional thinking capabilities and a great drive for success. Most people would be more than satisfied with just one of these, but he had both - and with them, a bright future ahead of him. This was apparent for everyone: his parents, his teachers and the UN itself. The officials had an eye on him for many years, they were thinking about him as the next great mind in the service of the almighty system that keeps mankind in peace. According to this, his parents often pushed the young Jake to the limit, looking to assure his elevated position in the future already.

Perhaps all these factors contributed to the BPD that became apparent in him in his early teenage years. He had all the symptoms: emotional instability, frequent and drastic behaviour changes from depression to anger... And it all started a vicious chain reaction that basically ended Jake's life as he knew about it. The UN offered him initial psychological treatment, but when that failed, they announced that they are no longer willing to take the 'unstable young man' into their ranks in fear of him 'unwillingly compromising the system'. This in turn worsened Jake's relationship with his parents considerably, who put everything up on securing that sought-after future job for their child that would provide them with enough wealth for a lifetime...only to see it all destroyed because of a sudden 'disease'.

Jake fell into a hate-fueled depression. He hated his parents for thinking of him as a tool for money and he hated the UN for giving up on him so quickly and coldly. He escaped into the virtual world and the Internet, finding temporary solace in the various online communities the UN had not yet laid their censoring hands on.

One day came a sudden turn of events - upon the encouragement of a friend he made over the web, Jake started studying his longtime interest: cybersecurity. He loved the field because it tested his out-of-the-box thinking and evolved so quickly that it was a challenge in itself keeping up with it.
This was the time he noticed that when he was truly occupied with something, his BPD almost never surfaced openly. So he wanted to be kept occupied as long as possible. Soon enough the information available publicly online became nonsatisfactory for the aspiring hacker. He started going deeper, seeking out forbidden and outright illegal sites and people in order to find out more.

A year or so later, Jake was a completely different man. With a clear understanding of UN survelliance and technology and all the means to counter them - he finally felt free. What was even better though was that he could finally put his skills to test. He started working for numerous 'rebel' organizations: groups with a cause and a shared hatred for the UN's ways. He rose to infamy very quickly and soon found himself on many 'most wanted' UN lists. He was never scared...he embraced the chaos.

An ill-fated attempt to reverse-engineer the Prime chip he took out of himself ended with the authorities finally finding a trail to the elusive Jake and capturing him. There was no question - he had to go to the Apox.

Miscellaneous:
At the Apox facility UN officials tried to break him away from his rebel ways and get him to put his brilliance to work on their side (as he identified and exploited numerous security flaws in their systems), in exchange of healthier prison conditions and maybe even freedom. He gave in to these demands - at least that's what they thought. From the beginning, he left backdoors, hidden lines of code in the programs he supplied, some of which are still wide open and waiting just for him to exploit one day...

6'0'', broad in shoulder and girth (looks a bit rotund in the stomach, but should not be mistaken for 'fat'), typical Polynesian complexion, bald, covered almost everywhere in the distinct tattooing of his people.

Crime Committed:

Numerous crimes, beginning with theft and robbery, ending in the murder and consumption of entire families; perhaps his 'greatest' crime was the death of seven police officers by his hand in close quarters.

Personality:

Hemi was raised by his father on the tales of his people, the Maori of New Zealand; it is unfortunate therefore that he took the stories to heart, twisting and corrupting them into something altogether different to fit his own deranged mind and world view, fixating on the more 'savage' elements of his people - head hunting, tattooing, cannibalism and the death of your enemies by your own hand - even the Maori concept of personal honour, known as mana, was warped by Hemi into more of a kill-tally.

There is a reason they dubbed him 'the Beast' after all.

Mentally he is neither sharp nor particularly quick, although he does possess the keen intellect and cunning of an animal - too stupid to be manipulated by more intelligent folk thanks to his low IQ, more likely to rip anyone he sees as trying to fool him apart, he can operate on the level of a below-average mind but little else. This is countered somewhat with a learned ability to adapt swiftly to changing situations, thanks to years studying survival skills under his father and during a brief stint in the military, means that many have doubted and even mocked him...and paid with their lives.

As for ambitions, goals, agendas, he has none! Nor does he put up a facade like so many more 'academic' criminals - speaking plainly and openly, and despising anyone who does not do the same. Yet perhaps the most curious thing about him is the way he can sense a liar; looking deep into someones eyes, almost like an animal would, and seeing in them a truth or a falsehood.

Brief History:

Born to a Maori father and a Scottish mother, Mairo - preferring Hemi as his name - was frequently put to bed with tales of conquest, warriors and the histories of both sides of his family. It probably did not help the young Hemi that both cultures were known as 'warrior people', Maori and Highlander swirling in his prepubescent mind like some heady concoction of testosterone and imagination bought to life in his dreams.

Like most young boys he went to school, had an average home life, but was bullied for his below-average intelligence; his father, a violent man at the best of times (to all those but his son and wife), enrolled the young Hemi in classes which he believed would encourage the boy to stand up for himself. To this end he was enrolled in classes for Mixed Martial Arts, as well as Mau rākau, the traditional martial art of the Maori. Following both paths he grew, both in body and in skill within the arts, hospitalising at least five of his antagonists during his education.

It was when he became involved with gangs, shamefully discharged from a stint in the military for striking an officer while drunk, that his family made the hard decision to disown him - Hemi gaining his first tattoos then, but also committing several crimes, one of which left two dead from burns. He was incarcerated for nearly a decade, although his part in the deaths was never proven, and so he was released rather than being imprisoned for life.

As time went by, surviving only by his wits and doing odd jobs for criminals and unconnected civilians, he studied further martial arts and honed himself into the man he would eventually become.

Eventually, as things got more secure for the UN and Prime was introduced, he travelled to Europe...

It was here that, after several years of inactivity and actual-if-feigned rehabilitation, his mind appears to have almost completely collapsed and those dreams from his childhood truly started to mingle with his life from day-to-day; neighbours in hostels or hotels would complain of screaming and shouting, loud thumping as he performed various haka religiously, clearly something big was coming and he was preparing himself as best he could.

For the next decade or so he inhabited the more rugged areas of Europe, buying a tent, and traversing mountainous areas of Eastern Europe, Britain and continental Europe. No one is really sure what happened to him during this period, but it is known that hikers, even entire families of tourists, would disappear without a trace only for their bones to be found later, devoid of flesh.

When authorities finally caught up with him, just as Herrity Apox unveiled his new orbiting prison (as luck might have it), he admitted to slaughtering and devouring innumerable victims; after all, he claimed, how was he supposed to survive in the damned mountains?!

Seeing no other option, and wishing to hand Herrity some live guinea pigs, Hemi was handed over to the Apox station and incarcerated there indefinitely...until now.

Perhaps worst of all? Hemi was never shown to have any psychotic tendencies, nor to be particularly sociopathic, just a little violent - in short, he knew what he was doing every time he did it.

Personality

Samuel is attentive, open-minded, and understanding. He's the kind of person to actively seek conversation and finds other people fascinating. He can come off as genuinely caring and even fatherly on an occasion. At times he can be seen as fairly cynical, although typically he expresses those views with flippant lightheartedness. Generally, first impressions of Sam attitude and mannerisms makes the man seems pathetically nonthreatening and nebbish. He's aware of this perception, and uses it to his advantage. He also often pretends to be less intelligent than those around him. His criminal record shows that the man is capable of extreme cruelty, and in his testimony he expressed little regret for his crimes.


Brief History

After twenty-something years of proving himself as a private investigator, Samuel Horn was made redundant. He had become a private investigator to help people, God knows he would be an idiot if he had gone in it for what little pennies he could scrap together. But still, he had made a career out of finding missing people. All of this, and his reward for pursuing justice was to be retired by a worldwide security camera and microchips. He lacked any real work experience and had never finished high school. The increasingly tech-controlled world was rapidly leaving the aging gumshoe behind to drown in stacks of overdue bills and child support.

Having toed the line for years, Samuel found himself stepping over to the other side. He quickly established himself as a man capable of quickly getting results. He did what he was good at: finding people and getting them to the person who had hired him. Learning from the mistakes of those he had previously hounded, Sam was able to keep his tracks covered from the ever watchful eyes of their overseers. For nearly a decade Sam was personally responsible for the disappearance of over a hundred men, women, and children, and indirectly responsible for the following heinous acts his clients would commit. Sam was at first shocked by how little he was bothered by kidnapping so-called innocents, but he chalked it up to three things. First, nobody had given a damn about him when he was struggling despite the good he had done. Second, he was still technically helping people, even if they were perverts and killers. Third, he was becoming very rich.

Having eluded any kind of punishment for years, Samuel Horn became a myth, a bogeyman. He was dubbed Matchmaker by his peers for always being able to always bring the client and their victim together. The last thing a criminal wants, however, is fame. His reputation had spread too far. His moniker started appearing in blogs and tabloids. Word had begun to spread and he had attracted the attention of the UN. Worse yet, he attracted the attention of his past clients. They knew he had information on them; he knew they would do anything to have that information stay private. Knowing that the only other option was death, Matchmaker turned himself over to the authorities, testified guilty to his crimes, and provided a detailed list confirming all of his victims and contacts. In return he was taken to the Apox centre, where he would live out his life imprisonment away from any retaliation.

And then they turned him into a fucking popsicle.

Personality:
Joseph is a charming man, someone who on the exterior only gives off vibes of kindness and good intentions. In actuality he is a terrifying figure, a predator that charms his victims into submission through a combination of refined charisma and good looks. He can fake emotions with the best of them and is a psychopath who shows no remorse for his actions.

He does not believe he's a bad guy, he believes that he is a great guy, a narcissist to an absurd degree. He thinks he's God's gift to the world. A constant flirt with any females that he finds attractive, they were his only victims in his killing spree. He just can't resist a pretty face. Joe may be psychotic but he is not an idiot, a calculating figure he ultimately puts his own well being above everyone else's. It is difficult for him to do something that would endanger his own well being.

Brief History:
Joseph Parry was born to two wealthy, upper class parents. From the start of his life money was never a problem, he received the best education and care that money could buy. His relationship with his parents was not ideal, he was never close to either of them as they both were focused on their own careers over their only child. He never had a problem making friends, though he never really cared for any of them. The first signs of a troubled future began in his teenage years, a rocky relationship with a first girlfriend changed his outlook on romance and life in general.

Finishing near the top of his class Joe was a shoe in for a great future. He attended an ivy league school where he would receive a law degree. He was a small time lawyer, one that made a good amount of money but not what the top guys made. His first kill was in his early thirties, a lover from a one night stand he plunged a knife into her, killing her quickly. His spree went on from there, with no real pattern of murders, but he always targeted women that he had managed to seduce. The thrill of police pursuit was a large part of it as well, he started to carve a crude insignia into each of the corpses he made. A spider, which is where his nickname would come from.

He was captured by the police shortly after his thirteenth kill, a rare idiotic move on his part led the authorities right to him. Joe's case become one that received national media attention, a charming wealthy man accused of murdering over a dozen women? What could be more interesting to the public? The case of the Spider was a media sensation. He was able to afford a top law team that ultimately helped him to avoid the death penalty, instead he received multiple life sentences before he was sent to the Apox.
