"Ms Sefia is most likely to be her 12 year old self, and could be at the amusement park, library, the biggest ice-cream parlor around this area, or Central Park." Said the Head of Staff.
Present Time
Sitting at a table in the ice-cream parlor with Sean, we had been waiting for a bit now. "Breaker, you hacked those cameras yet?" I muttered, seemingly to myself.
"I'm working on it. Give me half a minute." Breaker whispered into his hidden mic. In the back of the parlor Breaker was crouched behind a desk with his PDA hooked onto the desktop computer. "There, I'm in. I got the footage, let's go." He unplugged from the computer and quietly left hrough the backdoor.
I made one final attempt to find out if Sefia had been here through the old way. Going up to the counter, I showed the vendor a picture of Sefia on my phone. "Have you seen this girl, sir? It's just, I've been hired by her parents, she's gone missing, I'm afraid, and this was her favorite ice-cream place." "I'm afraid I wouldn't remember one customer from another to be honest, although the face does seem a little familiar. Sorry I couldn't help more." "Ok, we'll just look around the area, then. And also, could you not mention this? Her family has some very powerful enemies unfortunately, and if they learned about this, well... it wouldn't be good for them." I said, motioning for Sean to follow me out.
They found Breaker at their meeting spot, scrolling through the footage he stole. He looked up for a moment at Ryan and Sean. "Did you see her?"
"The best we got was the vendor saying he thought the face was familiar, nothing else. Your our best bet." I replied to Breaker
"Damn." Breaker returned to the footage on his PDA. "Hopefully we can get a good look at where she went from here. Otherwise, were screwed." Suddenly, a small green box flashed on the screen. "MATCH FOUND".
"Looks like we've got something here." His finger swiped forwards and back, and finally, he handed the PDA to Ryan. "Look at this. Sefia was here a while ago, and when she left, she headed down the street towards Central Park."
"Ok, hopefully she continued along that path." I said, getting up. "I'll be doing this alone, you guys can follow through the camera lenses." I said, popping what looked like contact lenses into my eyes, but that actually were mini cameras. Going into the park, I looked around. A bunch of trees scattered around, and a lake I could see. Walking along the paths, I told the two back at the meeting spot, "Tell me if you see Sefia, or her bodyguards, ok." Wandering around the paths and the lake, I slowly swiveled my head, as if taking in the scenery.
Breaker and Sean watched the camera feed intensely, trying to spot out the CEO amidst the trees and people. "There she is!" Sean said through the mic. "On your right. She's in a white dress and blue skirt. It looks like she's going along the path."
"Ok, I'll be following her." I said in a low voice. "So, remind me, how is this going to helpus find out a good present for her?" I asked Breaker and Sean. "Because, I don't see it."
"Honestly, I have no clue, but this is the only lead we've got." Breaker replied. He looked over at Sean, who was leaning back in his chair, bored. Sean spoke up "Who knows? Maybe she'll just say what she wants for her birthday" His voice became high and squeaky, "Oh golly, I wish somebody would give me a big bowl of chocolate ice cream for my birthday!"
"Seriously?" I mutter. "Breaker, please remind me to punch Sean somewhere on his body when I get back. He obviously doesn't know how to respect his CEO." I say sarcastically. "I think she's turning off the path now, into the shops. This might just be a bit easier than I thought." Inside though, I almost immediatly lost her. "Damnit, Breaker, do you need to have a connection to hack these cameras?" I asked. "Or can you do it remotely?"
"Shouldn't be too hard. The security isn't that great over there." Soon, they had the live camera feeds that tracked every street and alley in the shops, but here was a problem. "Sefia's not showing up on the cameras. There's too many people." Breaker hooked up his PDA to the feed and ran a scan. Sefia really had vanished from the cameras line of sight. Then he had an idea. He scanned again for Sefia's bodyguards and sure enough, their heads poked out from the sea of people. "Ryan, one of the bodyguards is standing next to an H&M shop. He's wearing a green trenchcoat and a cap and he's looking at his phone."
"How will that hel... Oh, I see, ok, I'm going now." I said, realising Breaker's plan. Finding the guard, I waited around, pretending to be interested in the shops around it. When he set off, I followed, after making sure Sefia hadn't been in any of the stores. Eventually he led me to another shop, then another. "Hey, Breaker, you sure this is the guy?" I asked, nervous.
"Well, it's either him or his identical twin. He matches the profile the boss gave us." Breaker replied. "I'll run a scan for the other bodyguard, just in case."
"Ok, I suppose, but he's taking me in a pretty roundabout way, can you see if there's anything that could trap me up ahead, because I can't see Sefia anywhere, and they're supposed to be guarding her." I say, before the bodyguard eventually stops infront of a store. "Don't bother, Breaker, found her, she's in this store, uhh..."
(OOC, Rofls, we're leaving it to you for the store and what Sefia is looking at, preferably the gift? Maybe?)
