The dark haired boys power got stronger and in turn the affect was even stronger on Harri. At first he started to wave around him uncontrollably, hitting the shadows that kept appearing in his mind. Images from his past started to appear suddenly, memories forgotten somewhere deep. It made him focus on the fear made illusions and he stopped waving around like a madman. Suddenly his focus went to the man who initially started all the aggression and confusion in the room. The man with the spheres of energy. But Harri didn't see him. He saw the men trying to take him away from his parents. He saw the boy who teased him in school. He saw the scientists from the mental health facility and the guards at ORB. All the different people and situations that he had feared in his life. It seemed like the man was the source of all his pain and suffering over the years.

Harri screamed or rather roared loudly, like he was unleashing all his power and then he started charging against the source of his pain. It was a blind rage caused by fear. He didn't acknowledge anything or anyone in his way as he moved towards him. About 20 feet away he came to a suden stop. The images and the fear had dissappeared. He was calm again, somewhat confused. He was very relieved and a wide smile appeared on his face. "Haha! I almost crushed you by accident" he said to the sphere-man while holding his stomach from laughing so hard.

Cia was a bit unnerved by wardens slap on her. Then he tried to help with the slap's pain. "Your a meany you know that?" Cia said to him getting up and rubbing her cheek. She tried to act cute still but the scowl on her face wasn't making it very convincing at the moment. Once the Warden said that she could leave to her new quarters she happily left to find her very own wardrobe full of cloths. All of them black and frilly. "This makes up for the slap." Cia said to herself with a smile on her face as she entered her room shutting the door behind her.

After thoroughly looking through the wardrobe she decided to go with a rather simple black dress with frills only on the bottom and sleeves. "Oh! It's so pretty!" Cia said getting back into her more innocent tone of voice again. After changing out of it and exploring her new room while also having a piece of cake for lunch she left the room to go meet up with Crisis and Warden again. "This is gonna be so much fun!" Cia said as jumped upon entering the room again now in her new attire. As she said this there were a few pens floating in the air around her. She would have leaks of her power sometimes often they were harmless, nothing more than floating pens or paper clips, never anything heavier than a pen.

Eliard Johnson

As one of the spheres vanished, Eli held another one, bringing forward as it hovered across a certain distance. It was the same as what he did recently, letting it teem with energy until glowering into a gleaming flare of light. Once done, he lifted his scowl against anyone his sights could set into while clamping his teeth together from his spiraling tantrum.

"Alright, since no one is making any sense, I'm afraid I'll just have to blow things up. At least with that, something will make sense." Eli spoke as he swept a few tangled strands of his red hair with his hands.

At that moment, Eli felt a fervent half of his consciousness, stirring an immense hold of power needing to be unleashed. It was a dense yet forceful feeling emanating a ravenous comportment, later influencing the course of his actions. It was as if something conveyed a single, incomprehensible message within his thoughts, apprising what he should do. While merely a blur, one certain idea he could decipher was that it urged him to proceed on a destructive force. It shadowed him for a moment, allowing little time for him look over himself. Eli then felt the comfort of it, the voracity building up as he nearly felt it lounging inside his veins. Years spent confined at the ORB had him forget this feeling and now, never did he discern how alive he was, how his gluttonous leverage over his powers gave him a rationale to stand firm against the surface of this world.

However, even after mounting his grasp for power, Eli felt something strange latching behind his sagacity. At first it was a frail sight of a blood-curdling projection, stemming a disarray of shadows ― as what it seemed ― towards a singular route which Eli later noticed to be at his proximity. One thing he wouldn't dare to stumble across was the darkness. Eli hated it and somehow left him shivering in fear due to past experiences he couldn't express on recalling. As the shadows extended their reach, Eli then felt his stomach lurching, his mind raced a nagging fright that forced him to abide an action that was far beyond his control. He couldn't move ― or at least he couldn't let himself be. The sight of the darkness folded his recent claim of power to a spiraling obscurity. Eli grievously wanted to evade the shadow's advance but his sullen fright refused to give him even a single option to do so.

"Get the fuck away from me!" And so he brazenly shrieked, forcing a terrified emphasis of his youthful voice.

The sphere he was supposed to control vanished at an instant once his attention altered towards the shadows. He continued to let his vociferation battle an unseen enemy, often cowering from a pretentious display of a contrived bravery.

"FUCK OFF!" He persisted until one giant, formless being began charging towards him, later forcing a prolonged scream out from his lungs. Then, even from a clogged view, he noticed something familiar as he let his scrutiny flow over a few proportions. It was the giant man, attempting an odd practice of something he wasn't quite wary of.

"The fuck are you trying to do?" For once fear subsided but only a fraction of it drifted away. The shadows were still lounging but Eli wasn't too mindful of it now.

"You're trying to do this, aren't you?" He scowled at the giant as he pointed the emanating shadows. "Too bad it's a shitty attempt to hold me back."

While he regained a partial hold of his power, he still couldn't settle himself completely with the existence of these shadows reaching him. One of the spheres that orbited Eli slowly slipped from its place, finding its way on top of his hand as it glided tenderly. After what he assumed to be the cause of the giant man, Eli ended up being the most unhappiest person inside the room. At this point, neither any words nor action would pin him down into silence.

"But I must say, it's a nice try but it will take more than that to bring me down, ya piece of shit." Eli raised his hand as the sphere hid behind its caress, bringing his body sideways. With his leg set on one side, it'd be easily noticed he was imitating a pitcher's stance and although hurling the sphere felt only an instant aim away, Eli felt obligated to give the giant man some short time before bringing in a trail of destruction.

"Say, are you good at dodgeball? because if not, you'll be so unlucky today."

Lloyd Washterson

Lloyd chuckled in response as he lifted Victoria from her plight, smiling as his eyes met hers in a less tricky way. Afterwards, Elijah inched closer, checking for any circumstances that might have deemed beyond his reach. Every once in a while, a harmless encounter made these guards watchful as the uncertainty of those confrontations might result to an inevitable mess. Nobody knew how much secrecy could each individual bear, whether or not they'd be spies among the opposition. Every trust was established with utmost caution for the fear of committing mistakes that would potentially damage any further stand the organization could inaugurate. Nevertheless, even when someone was to be endowed with Lloyd's credence, it would most likely fall towards the doubts of others.

"I'm fine, Elijah," Lloyd assured before his escort could even speak. He then sifted back to Victoria, returning his attention to her. "I'd say these new people are certainly going to be your future companions or perhaps, your team."

Lloyd then resumed his way towards the simulation room, hinting the woman to follow behind.

"As you can see, every S.C.A.R. member is assigned to a team. Whether or not you're destined to take recon exercises or just be a part of the staff here among the many facilities, you're ― nonetheless ― obligated to be a part of something. I implemented this as I am not fond of people shying away from a unified crowd. We are one by the way and being a faction with one purpose doesn't excuse some to scatter on their own."

Within perfect timing, they arrived at the simulation room. Elijah stepped forward as he pressed some buttons on the biometrics machine, later initiating a laser scan which opened the door afterwards. Lloyd was half-stunned as he stepped in, noticing a few misconceptions from his standpoint. Regardless, it was far from being a mess out of his control as he saw the men in their calm state. However, there was this redhead who seemed far from being a favourable individual.

"My apologies for my late arrival," He spoke in a calm yet loud tone, making sure his voice is enough for everyone to comprehend. "As you can see, I'm a very busy man or so to speak, but I never bias my time over you people as I treat everyone equally."

Lloyd paused as he tried to close his distance towards the new faces.

"Anyway, I all welcome you to S.C.A.R., abbreviated for the Superhuman Crusade and Alliance Revolution. I assume some of you are quite familiar with our name as this faction was once the great resistance that crumbled the government's tyranny and hatred over the existence of a unique race ― a race they solely despise as they fear they will ascend as an embodiment of evolution, forever bringing a significant change to the world. There was also one noble man who fought for the cause of equality, sadly he isn't here anymore."

For a moment, the subtlety of that thought raced Lloyd's mind. He haven't tackled any subject concerning the loss of his father but even so, he tried to let his stance be firm of the tragedy as he was already leading a legacy that was left for him to reconstruct.

"But so much for all of that, I will provide any information you wanted to know if you can find some time to approach me. For now, I want to enlighten you all that you are now a part of this faction whether you like it or not because out there, nothing will be at your favor. The government will take whatever they can dispose from their powers just to hunt you down and place you back in that grimy prison facility. But here, you're all safe. No one can track you down as they firmly believed this place has been obliterated years ago and I'm ever so thankful that they're wrong."

One of the guards approached Lloyd, handing out a small device which seemed to be more of a remote control.

"Now I know you're still adjusting and absorbing the information I've just stated out but all of your questions will be answered after we have this practice."

As Lloyd pressed the center button of the device, the room screened a bizarre projection, slowly shifting to different dimensional displays. Flickers of light coruscated at the circular platform, all of them glowed uniformly which then impelled the metal bars at the center to wind up in a spinning motion. Afterwards, a pillar of light beamed vertically from the center, casting toward the room's ceiling and unfurled its radiance through connecting proportions. At a slow pace, the entire facility was changing, as if it was an old latent photo undergoing its visible development. The ceiling transformed into an azure blanket while clouds slowly assembled into its view. The surface transfigured, later warping into a scene of an outside, open city with high-rises conjoined to form an urban landscape. Within a few minutes, everyone from the facility were somewhat transferred to a city by an unimaginable process. Including Lloyd, they were all standing on a wide space, congested by angry protesters and a police force defending a line of restriction.

"This exercise will just test how you're capable of handling your powers. You don't need to worry about passing or failing because this is merely an exhibition. Think of it as a way of introducing yourself. Your shared goal is to just help the protesters pass from the police force who are blocking the way." Lloyd raised the remote, letting the new recruits become aware of the simulation concept. "I would just like to inform you that these are real, meaning that they are able to respond to your actions whenever I press a button from this remote. They will see you, smell you, tell the color of your hair but fear not, they're artificially constructed despite being relatively close to reality. Also, please be warned that the guns these police possess can hurt you as they are mimicked by A.I. but they are far from killing you."

With a smile, he looked at the new recruits with grace, placing his thumb near a specific button of the remote.

"So, who wants to go first?" He asked as he highly noticed the redhead and the giant man to be the first possible candidates.

Just to set up the mood.

Li Min

Min ran a critical eye over the situation in front of her before shrugging. "I will." She volunteered, mind already at work creating a battle plan. With her skills, she could easily acquire a gun, and that and her power would see her through safely. She did a few stretches in preparation, then waited to see what happened next.

As Lloyd noticed a volunteer, he quickly placed his attention to the woman who took the first turn, giving a delicate yet convinced grin. Behind, one of the men handed him yet another device. This time it looked more of a wristwatch. Once he took it, Lloyd hurled the object towards the woman, expecting to unerringly grab hold of it.

"Kindly attach that to your wrist so that you'll be connected to the simulation. I'll be pressing the button of this remote I'm holding so that your presence will start manifesting on the scene. Just step forward to the mob of protesters when you're ready."

With that, Lloyd pressed the button of the remote. Slowly the scene swallowed a riotous uproar, raising signs either printed from tarpaulins or plain wood. Chants weren't uniform as some were stating a different subject but nevertheless, they all served a single objective, and that is to pass through the police resistance before them.

"Oh and if you may, please tell us who you are before jumping in. What's your name, what are you called or perhaps how do you want to be called? Also, while you can't be killed in this simulation, it doesn't excuse you from being hurt. Just be careful of what you'll be doing."

David Jackson

“It’s hard to forget a massacre of your own kind. And it’s even harder when shades from said massacre start to return the favor.” David gave Austin a smile. The sort of smile a father would approvingly give his son when he came home with his own car. “I’m surprised you guys trusted this random stranger. Trust is a rare resource these days. Well, I guess it’s all for the better. If this really is SCAR headquarters, then SCAR itself must be pretty ready to start the fight again.” David kept looking around, soaking up everything his senses could feel. Partly because he was happy being free again. But partly because he felt that he should prepare to escape. As the redhead clearly wouldn’t calm down.

“Yeah. I’ll stick with you. I’m glad that someone might have my back. But for now –“ David formed a black, unstable orb in his hand and showed it to Austin. “-I got feeling that we don’t want to let everything escalate to the point that we need to run. We should subdue Bubbles over there.” He said, while pointing at Eli. “I can ‘neutralize’ gravity around him, or hit him with the force of a professionally thrown baseball. You decide the strategy.” David felt like telling someone your powers wasn’t a good idea, yet. But right now, it felt like Eli was being the fuse to a barrel of gunpowder he didn’t know the size of. He didn’t want to let any other superhumans get hurt because some teen couldn’t stay calm.

Carrie Walsh

Carrie was slightly disappointed when the man walked into the room. Relieved, sure, but she'd hoped there'd be at least one explosion before he'd turned up. She listened to his little speech while barely managing to hold back a grimace when he pointed out their situation outside. She didn't appreciate the reminder that they couldn't leave. She'd had enough imprisonment in the ORB facility, and while she wasn't against getting to cause some havoc, the fact that she had no choice about it left a bad taste in her mouth.

Also, she'd have to work with this lot. Maybe should have tried to make a better first impression, she thought, glancing over at Bubbles, who seemed as calm and reasonable as usual. Still, looking at the size of his target, she had a feeling his attacks wouldn't be as effective as he seemed to think. They'd probably just hurt his feelings more than anything. At least most of them seemed more stable than those two, or her for that matter.

Her attention was grabbed again, as the other woman, who'd been fairly quiet so far, volunteered to be the first one in the simulation. Good for her, Carrie supposed, but it didn't seem like the smartest decision. As a rule, she tried not to volunteer for strange procedures before she saw what they did. Unless there was a good amount of money involved; she may be superhuman, but not that superhuman, after all. Still, she decided to watch the proceedings for the entertainment value if nothing else. She also found a smile crossing her face at the thought of getting her turn, even if there weren't any real people to kill.

"Look at her Cain, doesn't she looks delightful. She has quite an electric attitude right Cain?" Cain chuckled to himself for a voice inside his head The Hunger was quite the joker. Cain shook the thought out of his head. He shouldn't encourage the madness that rests inside his head, he was the one in control not the dark part of his mind.

"Do I sense a chuckled from you Cain? You do well to shut me out of your mind I am the strongest part of you. I make you stronger remove your needless emotions and get rid of all that pain you suffer during your hunger spats. Why not let loose once in a while? Flex your strength and go a little crazy?!"

Cain slapped his forehead. Whispering to himself "I'm stronger then you buddy. That's why I am in control. That's why I'm the one talking right now. Not. You!" Cain shouted the last part much to his embarrassment.

Looking sheepish he raised his hands defensively. "Sorry about that. I uh have a lot on my mind. Please don't let me stop you" Cain rubbed the headache The Hunger had created by pushing at his mental boundaries.

Li Min

Min grabbed the watch out of the air with unfailing accuracy, quickly putting it on. "Li Min, former US Navy SEAL." She reported crisply. "Code name Electora." Running an assessing eye over the scene one more time, she let one corner of her mouth quirk up in a half-smile. Against the expectations of most, she had missed this; had missed using her army training in a real fight. There was no reason to hold back when fighting a simulation.

There was no need to wait. Walking toward the line of policemen, Min let a predatory smirk creep onto her face. It's show time.

Rushing the nearest one, Min took him down with a knee to the groin and a fist to the face, stealing his gun and using his unconscious body as a shield. She shot at the policemen until she ran out of bullets, then flung bolts of energy towards the rest. Ditching her human shield, she created an energy shield, using the protection it gave to get up close and personal with whoever was left standing.

It was over quickly. Min stood victorious over the unconscious and dead bodies of simulated policemen, a grin on her face. That had been fun.

Farran Drake

Farran watched Min take down the policemen with an expression of awe. The very fact that they had a former Navy SEAL in their midst was enough to earn the woman his respect; her skill with hand-to-hand and her mastery of her power caused him to feel slightly jealous. However, now was not the time to dwell on that. He turned to Washerton and shook his head. "I'm not doing this. No way, no how. Trust me, it's a bad idea."

Carrie Walsh

Carrie watched Min's display with a slight grin. It seemed like her power was some sort of energy control. Strong enough, seeing as she knew how to use it. Still, it wasn't just the woman she'd been watching, and she ran over the details of the scene in her mind. She'd have to face a large group, and being cops, they'd be armed. Couldn't be worse in the simulation than this freak show, though.

Speaking of the simulation, she looked back at it as Min finished up, and gave a slow clap - let the others decide if it was sincere - and took a step forward herself. She waited a few seconds to see if anyone else said something, then spoke up.

"So, anyone else wanting to go? Cause I'm itching to get a shot at this." She said with a confident smile, looking straight at Lloyd. "Sign me up, boss. Name's Carrie Walsh." Drug dealing murderer extraordinaire. Probably shouldn't mention that.

Oh, she forgot. Nickname. "As for my code name or whatever..." She paused. "How about Geppetto?" The puppet maker. Seemed a good fit for her particular skillset. She stood ready, a dangerous smile on her face. "Anything I need to know? If not then just tell me when it's ready to go."
