Once powerful overseers of the human race, the Vampire population has been reduced to a mere thousands in modern days. Today, they rule only themselves as The Society, created by Vampires in order to protect (and control) themselves and turned Vampires. The Society severely restricts human interaction. As a result, the species has fallen off human radar save for crappy teen romances.

While The Society has succeeded in protecting what Vampires remain and newly created ones, a new threat has emerged: Vampire bodies have been found not decapitated or staked with silver, but drained of blood. Someone or someones is hunting their own kind, a taboo among The Society.

With feral Vampires out hunting others, it's more important than ever for The Society to come together as a community. So important, in fact, that they have reached out to Hunters who may help.

Whether the threat will be contained is yet to be seen...

Vampires fight vampires and hunters fight vampires and it'll be sick af. The setting will be modern and urban.

There will be limited slots for Hunters and Purebreds, so if you want to take a slot for either, you'd best have a well written character.

OOC is ready to go up once we get enough interest, and upon request, I can post the sheet skeleton here for you.

@EthTenshi Well, it'll be in Casual, so we're going to be expecting casual standards: a fundamental grasp of grammar and paragraph or two per post at the least. If you're worried about meeting these standards, I'd aim to make a turned or feral vampire since we'll be expecting more from players with Purebreds or Hunters.

I'm well seasoned haha, I was simply more curious as to the standard. However I must warn that I'm restricted to a cellular device and as such may not always be correct the first time. I do indeed like to do lighting quick edits. Now then shall we get down to buisness? Also would you like further example of my abilities? Or would you prefer an ample example pack of my capabilities? Well, this is only the Interest Check. Tomorrow at about 3 PM EST, I'll be putting up the RP and OOC thread (I'll post a link to them here). This is where the full plot, rules, and sheet skeleton will be posted. Anyone who wants to join the RP will have to fill out the character sheet, which will either be approved or asked to be improved.

So you don't really need to worry about proving yourself. If we like the character, you're in. And if we end up not liking your RP style once we finally get started, you're out. Pretty simple, haha.

Fair enough, i am quite flexible. I do have a lawful choatic appeal however. I sincerly look forward to seeing what else you drag up. I'm quite excited that I get to shake off the dust from my proverbial keyboard!

@FateWeaver That's fine, but you might want to leave the appearance / background a little open ended. When we start the OOC, I'll have more info about Purebreds that might affect your sheet. And a friendly reminder that we will be very strict about accepting Purebreds (and Hunters).

Are turned vampires on the side of purebred vampires? Are all vampires required a "side" (feral vs purebred/hunters?)

Technically, no. You would not have to be on either side, but you would have to have a legitimate reason for it (Ex: Your character is against the Society-Hunter partnership, or your character believes that the whole situation is a conspiracy set up by Society to gain even more power among vampires)
