Day To Day Attire:Assallya prefers her harem attire (depicted above) which involves ebony silks that cast her fair skin into shadow. She quite willingly adapts other styles to blend. When masquerading as a common thief she will dye her hair and wear peasant attire. When masquerading as a bard she wears the attire of a gypsy, long skirts and colourful sashes.

Personality: Assallya Kressair is a charlatan, con-artist, dancer, courtesan, and really whatever role she can think of that gets her by. She is exceedingly good at lying and feigning emotion. Generally, there are two ways to look at any good deed. One could perform such an act out of honest good will but others look upon it as an investment by establishing a bond that can be exploited at a later date. Assallya is of the latter. She is a coward, a braggart and a bully but what she isn't is needlessly cruel nor traitorous. She would not betray her fellows, not unless the reward involved a sum large enough to alter her life substantially. After all, What use is scoring a gem or two in return for a half dozen angry and resourceful adventurers eager to tan your hide?
She'd probably be the first to flee when things went sour and most likely wouldn't last more than a moment before capitulating to torture (particularly if they threaten to mar her appearance) but she's also the type to plan ahead in case she is captured to ensure she wouldn't have any information to divulge. After all, if she betrays all her allies who is left to perform a rescue?
She also has something of a phobia of the undead which are largely immune to her magical abilities. She, thanks to her upbringing, most unlike an elf, despises all things related to nature.
Habits: After decades of life as a pampered slave Assallya hates wearing shoes and prefers being barefoot, she waves her hands with two fingers when greeting someone and unconsciously arranges her body to best advantage to those that might be interested. She has a tendency towards colorful invectives.
Hobbies: Assallya was raised and instructed in the arts and loves to attend any such events. She likes to smoke her hookah to relax and reads voraciously about nearly anything.
Fears: Her most morbid fear is something marring her appearance. If tortured in such a matter she won't hesitate, she'd divulge everything. She also gears the undead, especially spectral undead or those that consume souls and being eaten by large beasts.
Likes: Power, wealth and especially jewelry, getting others to do her work for her, smoking her hookah, long lazy days, music and performance, reading

- Skill: Poisons, Stimulants and Sedatives Assallya is skilled in making drugs, both for recreational use and as a political tool. Note, while she may, may, recognize the symptoms of some poisons she is not skilled in healing.

- Skill: Dance and Music While not a bard by any means Assallya can play the harp, lyre and sing for her supper. She is much more skilled in dancing, particularly in a seductive manner.

- Skill: Crafting Talismans, Trinkets and Potions Assallya often crafts items. While she can create useful trinkets, the vast majority of which are non-magical entirely or possess a small enchantment to make them a bit more desireable to a prospect mark but otherwise provide no real bonuses. This is one reason she normally travels, to evade disgruntled customers.

- Spell:Charm Person The classic enchanter's spell ensuring everyone wants to be your friend. Assallya actually prefers to do this naturally since actions out of keeping with their character draw attention to the fact they have been ensorcelled!
- Spell:Sleep The quintessential spell for eliminating groups of weak creatures... and stray allies who are a bit too close to the area of effect.
- Spell:Hypnotic Dance/Pattern While normally a series of glowing glyphs swirling through the air, Assallya can optionally cast this using her own body as the vessel, making those that watch her unable to look away.
- Spell:Color Spray Illusions normally aren't capable of inflicting harm. They can, however, cause a blazing light so bright that it proves blinding.
- Spell:Inferior Invisibility The surprise spell that got her free of her master. Assallya can turn herself invisible. Unfortunately this weaker version does not allow her to turn anything else invisible, not even her clothing.
Assallya lives in a vardo wagon, more commonly known as a gypsy wagon. It contains just about anything one would expect of a small household including a single trade bar of gold behind a hidden panel.Possessions Generally On Person: Clothing, coin purse, money, etc

Pack Contents: Assallya almost never carries a pack. She has, instead a vardo wagon. On top of the wagon are sundries like sacks of potatoes, dried vegetables and the like but generally almost anything found in a normal home will be found here like a frying pan or pots.

- Item:Oil of Weapon Enchantment Grants a very minor bonus to a weapon so anointed. More meant to be used in case of some sort of creature immune to normal weapons.
- Item: Potion of Sanctuary Once quaffed, no one may strike at the drinker without severe effort. This benefit is forfeit if the drinker attacks anything.
Creation Materials: Anything used to brew potions or for alchemy
- Item: Mortar and Pestle Made of marble but with several inserts of gold, silver, bronze and more for crushing different magical reagents
- Item: Small Brazier Also used to warm the inside of her vardo wagon it can be used to heat potions

- Item: Spell Circle Matt Some spells, incantations and item creation require a specially drawn circle. Hers is drawn upon a large matt that she can unroll when needed

Parents: Dead, as far as Assallya knows. She naturally assumed they died protecting her when she was taken as a small child. If this proves incorrect she would be stunned.
Siblings: Saeliah, Assallya's older sister was seperated from her at an early age when they were taken and sold into slavery. Though Assallya does not know it, Saeliah was freed and has become a druid.
Childhood: Assallya Kressair was born in the autumn in a small village on the outskirts of Evereska. At the young age of 26 (aprox. 11 or 12 in human years) Zhentish slavers attacked and killed her entire village except for those taken as slaves. Assallya, her sister Saeliah, and several others were transported far across Faerun in order to avoid the elven wrath sure to follow. In the city of Calimshan Assallya and Saeliah were separated when Assallya was purchased be Pasha Alkiel. Head of a powerful group of rogues, Alkiel purchased her as a dancer and concubine for both personal use and for information gathering and blackmail. She then served in Alkiel's bedchamber for the next eight years while being trained in dance, seduction and other roguish arts in order to perform her duties.
She was treated as an object and was given to allies and employees of the Pasha who performed exceptional services. Soon enough, she learned about the many different types of power and discovered that even as a slave she was far from powerless. Succeeding in seducing one of the Pasha's magicians she bid him teach her magic. At first he balked until Assallya cast for him the only thing her father had taught her at that young age, a cantrip. A small thing, it changed the colour of his fingernails, but it was magic none the less. He agreed then, for he was a lonely uncomely man who rarely received a woman to his bed. However, he placed conditions on his tutorial; refusing to train her in combative magics and warning her that should he ever target him with her spells it would mean her death. She surprised all of them by inventing an inferior version of the invisibility spell which allowed her to sneak away from the Pasha's clutches and return undetected. In this way, by filching jewels and prostituting herself she built up savings with a money lender.
Adulthood: It was with the aide of the Pasha's son, Quasim, that she succeeded in poisoning the Pasha, planning on becoming a partner to the successor instead of a slave. With her manipulative mind behind him to advise his passionate power they were sure to bring their competitors to their knees. What she was not expecting was the Pasha's extended family to hire a necromancer to speak with their departed kinsman. He quickly named his murderer and Assallya regretted bragging as he died.
She ran, the Pasha's son giving her a few moments to escape, fearing that she would divulge his involvement which would lead to his family asking him uncomfortable questions. The next few months she moved slowly north, the sands left behind her and the lands becoming more lush and green.
She has since had several adventures, including one in which her entire troupe was wiped out and she was bound, with the intention of bringing her to the slave markets in either the Shining Sands, Thay or in Mulhorand. Luckily she managed to escape her captors before reaching the boats.
Special Moments: Assallya most often thinks of her decades as a slave, likening things she encounters to the culture of Calimshan. Other times she dwells on the previous group of adventurers that fell in battle or the group of thieves she once ran with.
Current Events: Assallya is a wanderer, working to stay ahead of the bounty on her head. As a result she has managed to get herself in a number of odd escapades.
