Name: Marie Ray

Physical Appearance: Marie is a pretty average height of 5'5" and is more on the athletic side when it comes to her build. She has short, black, messy hair, green eyes, and slightly tan skin. It's not unusual to see her covered in bandages (the small kind for scraps and cuts), in fact, it's unusual to see Marie without any bandages. She has a few small scars here and there, but nothing major, just reminders of times she took a few tumbles while trying to get a shot. And her look isn't complete unless her swablu is on her head when resting.

Casual Clothing: Marie dresses for her environment, and since her environment is an island, Marie is dressed pretty lax. She likes to wear tank tops and shorts, sometimes leggings, but they get ripped much too often, and sneakers. Though she also has few different sets of camo if she needs something to be sneaky and blend into an environment.

Uniform: Marie's uniform is a black tank top and pants, with a purple mini jacket with short sleeves that has the school's symbol on the back of it.

Backstory: Though officially born in Goldenrod city, the whole Johto league her home as she has traversed a majority of it with her father. This wasn't exactly supposed to happen, as she was meant to stay home with her mother, but after her mother died when she was around 3, Marie's father decided it would be best if he spent as much time as he could with his daughter. Because of this, Marie got to see her father, a renowned photographer, work first hand and quickly fell in love with photography, specifically, photographing Pokemon. Marie's father was only happy to encourage this and got her a Pokemon to help when she was 10. A drifloon Marie named Jeanie. An odd choice considering the myth about them kidnapping children, but her father thought it would be fine since had a drifloon as a kid, and still had it around, but as a Drifblim.

As Marie continued to grow, she would do all that she could to get try and get as many cool shots of Pokemon that she could. Which meant she was climbing, crawling, swimming, hiding, and doing so many more things just to get one shot, and her father had to keep a close eye on her to make sure she didn't get really hurt. Seeing his daughter get older, and thus more independent, Marie's father knew he couldn't keep her out of trouble for much longer, and decided to send her to Lumi Academy to learn more about Pokemon. Marie readily agreed because, hey! A bunch of cool Pokemon in their natural habitat that she could take pictures of! In an entirely new region! What was not to love about the idea? So Marie packed her bags, kissed her dad goodbye and headed off.

• Marie always has a camera with her at all times. As well as a smaller camera for Jeanie that she can hold as she flies up into the air, that Marie can view what's going on from a tablet she has. She uses this to get aerial views or to scout ahead.
• Cotton will either be on Marie's head if let out, or if Jeanie is flying around with a camera, go with Jeanie to make sure nothing goes wrong.
• Marie has a photo album labeled "My National Pokedex" Which is filled with pictures of Pokemon she's taken pictures of, in their order in the Pokedex. Marie only has about hundred pictures so far, but she hopes to get a pic of every Pokemon someday. Including the legendaries.
• Every year she makes a slideshow of all of her favorite photographs, whether they are extremely good, photos of fun times and friends, or just utterly hilarious. Then she shares it with her loved ones.
