Okay, so the concept is this:

We are agents of a anti-super villain task force called Vanguard, made up of highly trained, but mundane (meaning no super powers) specialists. We are a team and each of us will have a specified role in the team and on the mission. This is our mission.

A highly dangerous, super powered terrorist named Alek Cortez is on a rampage in New York City. He has the ability to generate and detonate nuclear energy and is threatening to blow up the entire city. He has planted THREE thermonuclear bombs of his own design around the border of the city in a prearranged placement that, if detonated, would cause a chain reaction that would destroy the entire outer portions of the city. Cortez has made his demands and has revealed that if they aren't met within 24 hours he will not only detonate his bombs but he will also overcharge his core with nuclear energy resulting in his body releasing a nuclear blast so powerful that, along with his pre-placed bombs, will destroy the city and everyone within it.

His demands are as follows:

"In order to stop the deaths of every man, woman, and child in New York City you must force justice down upon the powers that be in this city. I am demanding to witness the public execution of the Mayor of New York, Tom Donovan, as well as District Attorney Stephanie Bolton or else every inch of this "proud" city will be turned to ash as every single person within it is destroyed as I bring New York to its knees and put it out of its disgusting misery."

Your team is our beloved city's only hope; almost 9 million lives lay in the balance. There is no room for failure. Get to work.

Role: Private Investigator/Infiltrator

Martin Red cliff 46 years old specializing in chemistry. Tall, and fit despite the pot belly he has. Grey at the temples, and perpetually sporting a couple days growth of facial hair.

5'1, pale freckled skin and vivid red/ginger hair, blue eyes, thin/petite build, wears glasses with large lenses

Appearance: Black military-styled hair, with some grey in the mix. Grey eyesockets, and brown eyes. Light skin. Short, athletically built.
Description: Carrying around a sniper while doing (shitty) parkour isn't easy, but Henderson here manages to do it. Using steel-tipped bullets, and the latest F.D.D. (Fall Don't Die) equipment, he's a deadly force to be reckoned with, unless you have apricots. He's allergic to apricots.
Role: Sniper/Runner

Please keep all appendages and extremities inside the vehicle, no flash photography, and no automatic weapons fire inside the cabin, please. I DON'T CARE IF THEY STATED IT! DON'T MAKE ME TURN THIS CHOPPER AROUND!"

Description: Tall and lanky, and a bit awkward looking in his usual place of a helicopter's cockpit. He had dark hair that is a bit longer than his superiors like, and a pale complexion.

Role: Jack is a helicopter pilot for the (I dunno, Air force reserves? NYPD SWAT teams? What ever agency suits the story best.) It is his duty and pleasure to ensure that his team gets from point A to Point be in more or less one piece.

Sorry guys, a terrible blizzard here in Texas has struck. I'd still like to run this but between the weather and the other game I'm running it might be a few days before I can. If someone wants to take over feel free and I can jump in as a player or whatever.

Description: 5'0, very slender. Warm brown skin, black eyes, short black hair. Doesn't say much unless asked about mechanics or vehicles, at which point, Jin becomes tough to quiet. May or may not be on the team as an alternative to maximum security prison. May or may not have broken out of minimum security prison. (And by broken out I mean may or may not have dismantled half of the security cameras with a set of silverware and some tinfoil from the cafeteria.)

Role: Mechanic/hardware engineer, driver, deadpan snark provider
