@SilverDawn What happened to Bertuzzi and Naslund? I haven't followed hockey in a very long time but I remember those two being part of the core to that team.

@Scarifar Well, I'll just chalk you up as one vote then. Once the thing gets going in the IC you can have an IC volunteering for two chances to duel instead of one.

@Xeiyenreisha ...Characters who what where now? I was only saying Ethel and Haas remain in the shadows 'cause I'm not in a writing mood, not because I'm trying to force anything .-.

And the volunteering thing is basically just so I can roll the dice on who duels and who doesn't.

@SilverDawn What happened to Bertuzzi and Naslund? I haven't followed hockey in a very long time but I remember those two being part of the core to that team.


Bertuzzi got into a really bad fight (Steve Moore fought Cookie and served the penalty), Bertuzzi got on the ice, tried to instigate a fight with Moore, Moore didn't fight, Bertuzzi decided to attack Moore, knocked him unconscious, then 3 people slid into Moore, and now Moore can't play professional hockey anymore.

After two years(-ish) of really bad rep for what Bertuzzi did (not to mention, he wasn't doing that good, either), he was traded to Florida when the GM decided to make really big changes to the lineup.

Naslund retired because he was getting old.

What about both my characters for demonstration?
and if it does turn into a duel i can have Xei take the place of any of the 2 characters i have
also damn it osta/poke your character is so hard to approach i can't think of any way my samurai-freak Hayato can approach him

since nobody actually interacts with him nor does he do much

@Satoshi Kyou Cool. Whenever it goes up you can also volunteer your characters in the IC, then they'll get extra chances to participate.

@Ammokkx So let me know if I read this correctly, @Satoshi Kyou is volunteering his two characters for the Action Duels? I also saw my name being mentioned in there. Are you challenging my two characters @Satoshi Kyou? You'd probably be better choosing Tsukiko, because Shinrei well... I don't think I need to go into him. He wouldn't be too thrilled about it, but he wouldn't openly reject the request either. He just hates wasting his time and he doesn't find entertainment duels anything that would be worth his time. Personally he doesn't care about making people smile or giving them a good time. They either enjoy his duels or they do not.

Players can volunteer in the OOC to play in the first Action Duel of the RP, and afterwards they can do it again IC when it gets asked. Those who do it IC have a higher chance to participate than those who just do it in the OOC, and those that don't want to don't qualify either.

ALSO, ACTION DUELING DOES NOT MAKE ENTERTAINMENT DUELING.


I think Arc-V has demonstrated more than enough times now the tech for that can also be used OUTSIDE of that context, thanks. Entertainment dueling is something the player does, not inherent to the style of dueling.

@Ammokkx All right, I understand now. Tsukiko would want to do Action Duels in attempt to find a way to get her brother to express emotion. In short, she wants to see him smile again and where he is at now that probably won't happen. I will leave the rest of that to the IC. No character building in the OOC and I will heavily regard myself to stay honest about what I said awhile back.

ALSO, ACTION DUELING DOES NOT MAKE ENTERTAINMENT DUELING.

Well, that is how Shinrei sees Action Dueling. He sees no point in it as it's just a bunch of grandstanding to him as I said earlier. I never said that's how I feel. Entertainment Dueling was Yuya's forte, but personality wise that's what Shinrei thinks of it. I think I'll leave it as that.

@Satoshi Kyou Ah, I understand now. I thought you were trying to drag Shinrei into a duel. Trying not to go against his character and stay what he is right now. Tsukiko would do Action Duels and she has probably the best reason for doing it too.

@Xeiyenreisha Note: Character does not have to like AD to get picked. Those who volunteer in the OOC and not the IC, and afterwards get picked, would very much be people that didn't want to do it in the first place.
