Magic: Illusory Magic, with a focus upon Stealth. Fairly small-scale, a change in uniform here, a muffled sound there, a suggestion to the senses that nothing is out of the ordinary about things, and that they should just ignore them, or Lux. History: We all know the story. It's a timeless classic. Out of a generation of young children within some small, backwater village, there is the one kid who simply doesn't mesh. For whatever reason, he doesn't fit in. Childish cruelty? Distasteful nature? Unfortunate victim of social workings? It's tough to say, but likely is a combination of all three. With a pair of constantly-working parents and a precociously canny little sister to his name, Jason otherwise grew up alone. The pariah. The weird kid who you'd rather just be friends with, and tell that coldly to. A veteran of mostly solitary existence, he gained a negative, but surprisingly self-aware worldview. Knowing all the ways he had been hurt by others and how he'd caused him gave him a strange, highly cynical sort of savvy, and he'd learned how to effectively keep himself at arm's length. The type of guy who would be picked last after the fat kid in team games, if he was picked at all. The type of guy who would suffer in silence as you talked about him behind his back, much less quietly than you thought you were. The guy who learned to tune it out and, eventually, tune others out. The guy who learned to affirm and even take a strange sort of pride in his solitary existence, in that he did things his own, unburdened way, solely at his own behest.

Things changed, however, when he decided to go on a journey at the same point as one Lux Harken, hero-in-the-making. They couldn't be less alike if they had tried. Lux was an optimist, Jason a pessimist. Lux was easily liked, heroic, and charismatic, Jason was off-putting and prone to social suicide, and easily played the "villain". Lux's hair was white, Jason's was black. Lux smiled, Jason scowled. You get the picture. It must have been through some miracle that, after Jason's reluctant agreement to Lux's proposal and open hand, they didn't tear eachother's throats out. Lux sooned learned why, no, he didn't have friends, but bless his heart, soldiered on through it time and again over the years to form a sense of... mutual comprehension. They didn't entirely understand one another, and doubtlessly never will, but they have learned that despite their multitude of differences, disagreements, and general oppositeness to eachother, that the other is a man who can be relied on in spite of them. Something which is invaluable as adventurers. Is it complicated? More than you could ever imagine.

But it works.

Personality: Dark, gloomy, and mistrustful, he is a natural loner. Prone to cutting remarks in inner monologue and outer dialogue, he has learned to try and be observant, but sees things through a rather cynical lens (which he would tell you is "realistic"). Decent guy beneath that, though, and is far from lacking in self-awareness.

1. Passably skilled swordsman. All those years stuck in chuuni-land were good for something after all, it seems, and have left him able to use a katana better than the average idiot who picked one up.

3. Considers actions carefully. Gloomy and negative attitude aside, it actually takes a lot to get him mad.

1. Pragmatism is to a fault--willing to be absolutely selfless if it gets things done. (RIP Social Standing)
2. Not strong. Acceptably athletic, especially given his demeanor, but by no means exemplary in combat.
3. Pessimistic nature. Has a rather cynical and at times worryingly jaded view of the world around him, and always tries to search for a hidden meaning or motive behind the actions of others. In line with these tendencies, he is anything but a people person, only his own self-awareness saving him from being an outright indefensible edgemeister.

Magic: In order to keep an advantage over enemies, she states her magic is rainbow fire, when really it’s mood absorption, same as Ike’s. Yet she is able to give it the form of fire to keep the act going. Of course some get suspicious when it doesn't burn that badly. She is also more well versed in the magic and he absorption rate blows Ike’s through the roof, yet because of this she isn’t very conservative with her intake and just unleashes it in berserk and powerful attacks. She is also capable of using any mood to its full advantage as she has no qualms with embracing whatever mood she is in.


Magic Level: Can easily vary from C if she blows all her power to X if she actually saves it and uses it wisely. Although she has never done such a thing.

History: Clover Town was the birthplace of her entire family really. Her parents had this theory that if you had magic and had a child in Clover town, that they would without a doubt grow up to use magic. Some might consider it a superstition which it really was, Yet her parents more so wanted it to be true in order to pass down their magic which if used correctly could be a dangerous magic for anyone to handle. This may seem like an odd thing, but when your parents are members of a dark guild its seems to make more sense. They were part of a guild called Predator Attack, and they were not that well know. Yet what was known about them was, their ruthlessness and destructive tendencies.

It was also a guild that casted out any weak members. As such proven with Ike who was kicked out at the age of five for being too oblivious and kind. At the time Riona thought this was normal and didn't know any better since she was nine at the time. All she knew was that her parents were very approving of her natural skill with the mood absorption, and the fact she showed such power and aggressiveness in combat was very satisfactory. The guild was also very approving of her as well, being ranked as a B ranked mage at the age of fourteen. She would reach rank A upon turning seventeen and completing twenty missions by herself. Some were tame, some not as tame.

She would have reached S rank no doubt in the dark guild but she made the mistake of falling for one of her targets on a mission and was banished from the guild as punishment. She was sparred from death from her parents who were close friends with the guild leader. Yet the stipulation was she wasn't allowed to speak of the guild ever again, and if she did they would hunt her down and kill her. She agreed to this stipulation and left the guild with no troubles at all. Being only 21, she decided she wanted to see more of the world and train much more in case she did accidentally mention the dark guild and had to defend herself. What resulted was her becoming quite the master at her magic to the point she feels she doesn't need to utilize it in great ways to get the job done. As long as she is able to overwhelm them with superior power. So at the age of twenty eight she arrived at the Magic games where she sought out even greater heights for her magic. Yet along the way one guild caught her attention greatly with its way of doing things That was the combat orientated guild Frenzy Plant. Now she just needed the perfect opportunity to join them.

Personality: Well needless to say she’s one to embrace her different moods instead of just feeling them and ignoring them. Thats one thing about mood absorption, sure its power increases with what mood you are feeling. Yet if you feel it and fully embrace it, its power is that much greater. So if shes pissed then shes pissed. Happy then happy. Or if she has a freaking crush on you then well…. I’m sorry for you. So depending on how you act to her, she could be in any kind of mood really. So play your cards right.

Magic: Crash and Re-equip magic at high levels. Basic use of a number of different magics.

History: Born in the great decline of magic. He experienced what it was like to see magic frowned upon. In order to continue on the path of magic, he became a solitary monk, practicing all sorts of magic in secret. Upon the realisation of how the world really was and where it was headed, he allowed others to join him in the salvation of magic. Soon enough, there was a thriving organisation of magic practicing church monks. Even orphans were allowed to enter the warmth of the church and walk the path of magic, all regulated by Budo himself. He did have 2 favourite boys which had a natural talent for the use of magic.

After the reform of the magic council, a series of unfortunate events meant that the church was destroyed. With nothing left, Budo realised what the world had to become in order to be truly at one with magic. Zeref.

Shadow magic - He can control and manipulate shadows to his own will.

Darkness - He uses shadows to bring complete darkness to an area. Having spent most of his time in the shadows, his eyes are used to seeing in the dark.
Shadow wrap - He uses shadows to wrap up and restrain the enemy. Theses shadows nullify magic.
Shadow fists - He coats his fists in shadows to give his attacks higher power and damage.

Magic: Beast magic

Similar to takeover he can transform himself or body parts into beast forms.

The major difference is that it is still his own. Takeover magic allows the user to copy the form of another, wear as beast magic would allow Ajax to create new, living matter as his own. Because of this, he can vary and mix/match body parts or forms to become the ultimate opponent for whoever he is up against. Essential, his magic allows him to become any concoction of creatures at the same time. The downside is, he cannot remain in an unchanged form for too long, or that/those body parts shall remain like that forever. One of his hands is stuck in the form of a Dragon/Lizard hand with long claws.

Personality: Often isn't interested in the guild cause, as he is in it for himself. He just wants to find strong people to fight, and avoids fighting people who aren't worth his time.

Magic: Poison and illness magic

Her eyes are cursed. By making eye contact, even via mirror or reflection, Wither is given access to the immune system of her victim. She can do as she pleases, shutting it off completely, infecting someone with a certain disease, or even amplifying the symptoms of an illness. For example A common cold will not kill someone, but she can make it so their symptoms equal a level such as pneumonia provided they look into her eyes. The only downside is that unless someone looks into her eyes this magic isn't very useful. She carries all of the antidotes to her diseases on an unbreakable chain around her neck.

She uses a katana to fight with too. The blade glazed in a poison. It doesn't kill, but it shuts off the nervous system to the arms, legs and neck, rendering her prey immobile until the poison wears off after a short period. This requires her blade to cut the skin, not just clothing.

Personality: Another emotionless one. See's only the target to eliminate, or the objective at hand. Has no problem in killing whatever stands in her way. Deep down she does want to be loved by somebody.

Budo sat down, the faces of 7 naive young wizards in front of him, all in their teens. "My children... You needn't worry. You have been betrayed by your brethren. There is nothing to do about that." He sighed. "I am and always will remain by your side." He stood up, which was a signal for them all to stand up. "You all possess great latent abilities, and will make fine wizards... but." He paused, the teens all taken aback by that but. "This world rejects you. All of you." He slammed his fist into the table. "You were all brought to me, in 7 little orphan baskets for a reason. I did not realise this to begin with. I was blinded with 'peace' and 'the path of magic'... No... there is only one future for outcasts like us, who bare the gift of magic." He turned to face all of them. "...Zeref. You are all part of Zeref's plan. The great world of magic." It rolled of his tongue like ice. He say it so calmly, and yet he seemed so pleased to be telling them. None of them understood, but they all nodded in agreement with their parent, trusting in his wisdom and guidance.

Name: Aria, the Mirror Maiden
Age: 19
Birthday: June 7th

Magic: Mirror Magic: Magic involving glass surfaces, Aria is skilled enough to summon her own mirrors and use any glass surface capable of causing a reflection for her magic. The magic is largely supportive and defensive in nature, allowing easy reflection of attacks and swift transport via a 'mirror dimension', allowing one to travel through one glass surface and come out another. It can also be used to trap an opponent, encasing them inside a sphere of mirrors that reflect all attacks back at the caster.

Glass Make: A Molding magic focused on glass as the substance of choice. Aria is skilled at dynamic objects, summoning fast, agile, and deadly glass constructs, capable of quickly attacking the target while avoiding attacks to make up for their innate fragility, though the constructs appear to be much harder then normal glass.

Magic Level: Records show her to be at least A-rank in terms of magical power.

History: A mysterious girl of unknown origin, Aria has only recently appeared in Fiore, though the possibility that she has always been there is possible. No records of her exist, not even birth records, and it is unknown if she is even a denizen of this world. At least this is what the Council and anyone who knows of her knows.

In truth, Aria was born into the Assassin's guild Nocte Liberium, and is the twin sister to the assassin known as Jack, the Maiden of the Mist. Her father separated them from birth and had one of his guild members take Aria to the Mirror Dimension, which would become her own. Alone in this place, she was able to see others through the mirrors in the dimension but unable to leave or interact with them.

The only interaction she got was from her father, who brought her up the same way as he did Jackie, though her training was not to an assassin but an observer, who watched from the Mirror Dimension and was only to interfere in extreme scenario's. As such, she was trained to repress her emotions, observe, and act, as well as how to hold her own in a fight. The only gift she ever got was the pair of headphones she still wears, which play music that keeps her calm and kept her sane in her years of isolation.

Even after the assassin guild fell, Aria continued to look after Jack, keeping an eye on her sister, though unaware of their connection. It was her duty as Jack's observer. Over the years, she only almost stepped in once, which was during Jack's second attempt on Amelia Averyonna's life. With the assassin almost killed, Aria prepared to step in for the first time, but stopped when it became apparent that Jack's life was no longer in danger.

She has continued to follow her sister since then, and began to grow curious about Jack's change in personality and how the people around her were affecting her. Having never been trained for this scenario, Aria has made several attempts to interact with others, even leaving the dimension she has lived in her entire life, though such attempts has more often then not led to misunderstandings and more then one fight.

Personality: Nearly emotionless, Aria is like a machine when talked to. She responds in short sentences or one-word responses to anything directed her way, and repeated questioning of the subject will not make much progress. However, this emotionless exterior hides a girl who is more of a child then anything, experimenting and curious with the world around her. Aria can be easily side-tracked and constantly gets into trouble due to her innate naivety and general innocence.

One thing Aria is emotionally attached, possibly dependent, to are the headphones she always wear. She seems to take very good care of them and becomes easily upset if someone touches them and downright traumatized if they are taken away, resulting in her becoming a crying wreck incapable of taking action.

Magic: Negation. Angel has the ability to block all physical magic directed his way in an attack, whatever type or element. He can choose to reflect this energy back as though the attack bounced off a rubber field, or launch the same type of attack back once at an opponent. He can only stack one of these stored powers at a time.
Magic Level: A-B
History: Angel was born to a single father deep in the Boundary Forest, far to the north of Fiore. The reasons for his societal exile died with his father when Angel was seven, but he had been taught enough rudimentary skills about survival to fend off the monsters that infested his home that he wasn't torn apart within weeks or anything. Rather, as he grew, he honed his skill in hunting and cooking until he proved self-sufficient enough to turn the weeks of survival into months, then the months into years.

By the age of sixteen, however, Angel had left the Boundary Forest in search of who he and his father truly were. Having never required currency or merchants for anything in his life, he found the journey into civilization difficult, and to support himself he began cutting a swath through Veronica and south down the peninsula, staying a couple months to cook at inns and small restaurants for a couple months. As his purse grew, so too did his culinary repertoire - and, eventually, his traveling party, as his meals impressed one Kaia Iona. The girl became his traveling companion and sous chef as they traveled south into Fiore, where they currently are residing.
Personality: Ferrara is sunny and cheerful, but you wouldn't know it from his tone of voice. He speaks with an odd combination of earnest, confusion, and painstaking politeness coming from having spent the first two-thirds of his life removed from even village society. Idioms and snide remarks often fly over his head at terminal velocity, and he proves almost incapable of being insulted. Instead, his frustration and negative emotion often channels itself into a fierce determination to do right by people, and intense loyalty to his friends.

Magic: Movement magic, granting her the ability to manipulate the properties of kinetic motion as related to herself and objects around her. She has a knack for instantly accelerating objects to high speeds, though still has trouble focusing on more than a few objects at once. She’s learned how to use this ability to compress air to nearly solid levels, and is able to use this both offensively and defensively. More useful in her case, however, is her ability to ‘feel’ the motion of nearby objects.

Magic Level: B

History: Kaia’s upbringing was nothing exceptional, she wasn’t inheriting some old mystical power passed down from generation to generation, in fact she displayed nearly no affinity towards supernatural abilities early on in her life. Tales of the exploits of gifted wizards fascinated her to no end, the heroes and villains becoming something larger than life for her, but just as any would at a young age. It was secondary to her desire to (metaphorically) see the world, discover what was out there beyond her small home town. Fortunately for her, this curiosity lined up with the job-hopping nature of one Angel Ferrara, a cute longtime friend and one heckofa chef. She spends her time now moving from town to town to city, trying to learn to cook, and taking in the world for what it is.
Of course, there’s the small matter of her, almost surprisingly, possessing magic abilities. Though unlike those developing from focused training and specific instruction, hers stemmed from necessity. Just as her senses developed to compensate for her lack of sight, her body tapped into connection between her spirit and the flow of nature around that had lain dormant.

Personality: Overall relaxed, one to take life in stride rather than waste some time making a big deal about it. Easy enough to talk to, even if she’s not exactly a conversation starter. Her mood shifts with the same liquid grace of her stride, and is rarely taken to extremes or emotional outbursts.

Three Strengths: She possesses a sharp, intelligent mind, paired with her ability to think on her feet allows her to improvise on the fly. Fairly level-headed and slow to anger, most of the time. While not extremely powerful as a mage, her reserves of energy are greater than normal.

Three Weaknesses: She’s blind, plain and simple. Of course, twenty years of walking into stuff has given her plenty of time to develop ways to make up for it, she is nonetheless at a distinct disadvantage compared to others. Even though she’ll never admit it, she is very much self-conscious of this fact, which has developed into a fiercely independent streak, to the point of fault. As a result of this, or perhaps in spite of, she places a tad much attention on her outward appearance. She’s no Olympic athlete, and relies on her magic heavily.

Greatest Love: Angel Ferrara Music

Motivation: Prove to herself that she is capable.

Appearance: Slightly shorter than average, Kaia is overall lithe in appearance. Her form is noticeably more feminine than androgynous, and moves with a careful deftness born from her disability. She is somewhat athletic, though more in the sense of the lean musculature of a runner than overly burly. Stark white hair contrasts sharply against her dark, freckled complexion. History: He lived his life traveling from place to place doing various odd jobs here and there. He never really settled down in one place for more than a month, with one exception, when he was 19 he stayed in a small town helping a family get settled in to their new environment and helping them build a home.

He doesn't remember anything before the age of five when he woke up in the middle of a forest alone, he spent most of his childhood homeless fending for himself. He eventually met a man who took him in for three years before setting off to travel, which is the reason Robin travels now.

Personality: He seems cold at first but in reality he's a very kind and friendly person. He never does anything he sees as wrong and always helps those in need. When the time comes for it he can be very serious and quick thinking, in combat for example he is calculated, more of a strategist than anything. When he was in his late teens he married his child sweetheart how beared her "curse of darkness" as she calls it. She had it under control until she had her first daughter who now shares the fate of the magic her mother fell victim to. When raiden was in his late 20s He didn't just lose his wife to death but he also lost his daughter.  He kinda lost it and went into a hibernated state hidden in the woods becoming "stone" allowing his earth magic to hide him from the world as it was his way of grieving to the loss of his wife and daughter. He stayed in his stone state for five years till a cry of help awoke him.

Finding that cry to be from a young woman who in several years became his second wife and gave him a son Ryu yashia. It was here in recent years that he heard rumors of a darkness user that fit his dead daughter's description. Him and his wife decided a split would be good so he could pursue this rumor and so his son and him could travel.
Personality:  when someone first meets him he has a very intimidating stature for being seven foot with a massive stature of big bone and muscles from his bloodline. But when one gets to know him he is a big teddy bear when it comes to kids but tick him off there will nowhere on earth you can hide.

History:  Ryu is the only son of Raiden yashia. He learned some of his family's magic but it never really took until a traveling merchant caravan came to their village. He only got to spend two years as the Elder's apprentice till death came for the old man. It hurt Ryu deeply to lose his teacher and as a result He kinda lost control at the young age of 7. History: Aisling grew up on the move with her grandfather, never staying in one place long always the strangers. It was he who taught her magic although he himself never had much training and admitted Aisling even at a young age was stronger than him. The two survived by taking odd jobs wherever they could. Her grandfather was once a soldier so they took jobs guarding caravans, Aisling helping with the small tasks necessary for a caravan.

One day as they travelled across dangerous territory, bandits attacked the caravan they were travelling with Aisling hid at her grandfather's order as he charged into battle. As the battle began it became clear that these bandits were not just that but mages too, her grandfather forced to reveal his own magic in an attempt to save Aisling. Unfortunately they were stronger and many and he fell to them, at a cry of pain from him Aisling rushed out from her hiding place and fought above her ailing grandfather. Eventually she was outmatched and covered her and her grandfather with a wind wall in a last desperate attempt. It was then cradling her grandfather in her arms he told her to go to Crocus, and find those who could teach her more. Using the last of her magic she was forced to flee into the sky, with a heavy heart unable to do more.

Personality: Aisling is a kind person and does not like hurting anyone unless forced to in defense of those she loves. At times she can be a bit of an airhead forgetting to do something or drifting off mid conversation, sometimes literally.

Magic: Wind Mastery (Sora named it himself)
In his country it was known as fu-jutsu, however Sora had mastered the magic to the point which he changed how it could be uses. Sora's powers are quite extensive and range from being able to launch blasts of wind that act as blades, manipulate the wind to create a barrier, protecting his body from physical harm or reflecting light in order to camouflage himself, fly while carrying multiple people and even generate electricity and manipulate it to an extent using the friction using high speed wind.
In short he can just manipulate the wind to his every whim.

Contract Magic: Wind Contract
In Sora's country, everyone makes a contract with an elemental spirit. Sora's family were all wind mages, and thus he made a contract with a wind spirit. However this was no ordinary wind spirit, it was the Kaze no Seirei-Ou, or Wind Spirit Lord.
Due to his his contract is by far the most powerful, and when he enacts on it his eyes turn an azure blue and his abilities are multiplied tenfold. However the strain of his contract form on his body is enough that even being in it for five minutes means he won't be able to move for about two days.
Any longer than ten minutes and his life is in grave danger. He is also given the ability to heal his own wounds when in this state, however they will reopen once he leaves it (except instantly fatal wounds of course ;) )

Sealing Magic: Sora has been shown to use sealing magic to an extent, however his seals are never permanent and can be easily broken by even a B rank mage.

Magic Level: SS

History:
Sora doesn't go into great detail about his own history, going to great lengths to keep it hidden from all. All he gives away is that he is another continent where he was considered one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful, mage(s) around till he moved to Fiore at the age of 20 as he seeked stronger foes to fight, and thus become stronger himself.
He met Mai and Jess soon after landing in Fiore during one of their mercenary missions and forced them to become his....well subordinates I suppose fits it best and dubbed their little group Team Wind Blades much to Mai's disgust.
Shortly after that he found Ethel and helped seal her out of control magic after her father abandoned her. He was reluctant to help her search for her family at first, but after being assured of a suitable payment once they were found he agreed, adding on the condition she must be his apprentice during this as well.
Since then he has taken on a lot of side jobs while searching for her family, some shadier than others, and fights powerful foes whenever he has the chance.

Personality: Arrogant is probably the best way to describe Sora, generally belittling his opponents and showing very little effort when he fights and has a habit of simply standing still while lazily deflecting attacks while fighting. He has also shown to be a tightwad when it comes to money, preferring to horde his own treasure and money rather than spend it even on essentials such as food. This has made him collapse from starvation more than once, and he is generally forced by Mai to buy food for himself. He also tends to pick out missions with a high payload.
Sora however doesn't accept missions, no matter how high the pay might be, which involves killing innocent civilians, claiming that it is a waste of his abilities to cull the weak. In reality he simply believes it is his duty as one with power to defend the weak.
He is generally indifferent to his own surroundings and anti-social, generally avoiding people unless it involves a mission or business, and despite her arrogant attitude is rarely taunted into fights as he can usually sum up a persons strength simply by looking at them, and usually deems fighting them a waste of his energy. He however has shown next to no regard for his own safety, never hesitating to jump straight into the fray and even laughs off attacks or just breaks into laughter for no reason during a fight.
He has also shown a softer side from time to time, such as taking on less pay than he should to help protect a village from bandits (or something like that), and when he talks with Jess and Ethel. He butts heads with Mai, due to them both being stubborn and having rather different personalities.

Ethel has shown the ability to be able to requip daggers, bows (including crossbows) and shortswords and she seems to show some level of skill with each, however she seems to be better with the bow.
Other than stock standard weapons she does have two unique magical weapons. A bow that uses magical power for its arrows and a dagger that has a magical gem attached to ward off evil spirits, cure most poisons. She also owns a magical cloak which is enchanted to withstand powerful magical attacks and helps hide her presence from others to the point that without a slayers enhanced senses or a wizard trained in magical tracking you cannot sense her.

Magic: Forbidden Magic Constitution Change
Due to a cursed grimoire, Ethel's body itself is made almost entirely of magic. Due to this she is able to change her body's composition to whatever she pleases. From iron to ice to fire or back to human flesh, her body is also capable of moving similar to Cody's Absolute Shield. Her arms can become a crystal-like, semi-liquid which is just compressed magic power and is quite flexible. She can use it to whip her opponents, ensnare them and stuff like that. Her body also heals itself, as long as she has the magic required to heal the wound.
However the drawback is that once she exceeds a certain limit, she begins to fade. If she keeps using magic after that, her fading will get worse till she is entirely gone.

History:
Ethel is the youngest of three siblings, one older sister and older half-brother whom had been conceived during a night of heavily drinking at a party with friends.
Her mother was a wealthy merchant, her father a soldier in the military.
Soon after she was born, her mother found out about the 'affair', and thus the half brother, and filed for divorce with her father. However during the process her mother and older sister feel deathly ill.
Still madly devoted to his soon to be ex-wife, her father pleaded with several medical wizards and doctors to help cure her. None could help, and with nowhere else to turn to he went to the nearby church for help. After being told that to leave his wife and sick daughter at the church since their healer wasn't going to be back till the next day and this would allow him to see them as soon as he got back, he returned the next day to the heartbreaking news they had passed away during the night shortly before the church healer returned.

Grief stricken her father took the three year old Ethel and travelled Fiore in search of her half brother and his mother. He searched fruitlessly for years only to find out that the mother had passed away years ago and her son had been put into a nearby orphanage.
However when he got there, he was too late. The son had already been adopted and the orphanage, with the father having no proof to the claim that he was the boy's real father, refused to tell him who adopted him.

This was when Ethel was nine and soon after her father began to train her to use weapons using his military training, because at this stage he was rather crazy and decided that the best way to protect Ethel was to train her to protect herself. And the soon she started, the better right?
After being put through a few years of vigorous training she eventually became somewhat skilled with daggers and short bows, due to her petite frame her father had only been training her light weapons. When she was fourteen her father brought her a book from a rather shady merchant only to soon find out it was cursed. This was the grimoire which gave Ethel her the forbidden Constitution Change magic.
It would seem that his mistake was the last straw on his mentality as he finally lost it, freaking out and leaving Ethel by herself despite the young girl crying out for her father as her body began morphing without her consent.

Soon after Sora found Ethel with her constantly changing body composition and helped calm her down and temporary seal the curse till she could properly control it. After Ethel explained what happened Sora offered to help her find her father, however once they returned back to the camp Ethel and her father had made her father was nowhere to be seen. All they could find was a box of important papers with leads on her brother, and a letter from an old friend of her father.
The contents of the letter stated that the church they had gone to for help seemed to have lied about her sister's death as he had seen a girl the spitting image of her mother when she was young on a wanted poster, under the name Shiro Hime.

Upon learning this new information she went out to search for her brother, sister and father. Not wanting to leave the young girl by herself Sora appointed himself her guardian and introduced her to Mai and Jess. The four of them decided to search for her family on the agreement she would become Sora's apprentice.

Personality: Ethel has a cold, machine-like personality. She often speaks in a somewhat soft voice and her sentences are very succinct as she believes being concise and to the point is a far more efficient manner of speaking. Ethel has shown to be rather naive as well, almost ignorant of the world and as such is rather easy to manipulate or confuse with 'non-logical' topics.
Under her cold exterior, Ethel harbours a strong desire to reunite with her lost siblings and find her father so they can live together. She has also shown to like being petted, praised, spoiled, etc. Ethel also refers to herself in the third person for some reason.

She has shown the ability to requip various handguns. Her favourite one however is the one in her image, the electric gun.
It fires concentrated magic bullets laced with electricity that can stun or paralyse her opponents if it makes contact. She has been shown to be a very good shot, able to hit targets up to a kilometre away with her handguns (assuming no large obstacle such as a building is in the way and she has a clear line of sight). Unlike her sister she has shown little potential for magic

Magic Level: B-

History:
Having lost their parents at a young age, Mai and her younger sister grew up on the streets before they joined a dark guild for a short time where Jess learned her magic before the guild was disbanded after the leader was captured by the council.
After that Mai and Jess used their new found magic to become mercenaries for hire, and generally trained against thugs or bandits.
However that all changed when they met Sora. It had been a fairly straight forward defeat bandits mission, the girls however had gotten in over their head and were losing badly. It turned out these bandits were friends of some bandits they had defeated earlier and wanted vengance.
With Jess badly hurt, Mai attempted to fend off the bandits as best she could before a strong gust of wind blew past her and badly cut up the bandits in front of her.

Sora appeared soon after, claiming that he was after these bandits as well and wouldn't be willing to split the reward since he did technically defeat them. An argument broke out, one thing lead to another and next thing Mai knows it she's more or less agreed to be his lackey.
Sora soon realised how inept the two sisters were with their magic and tried his best to help them hone his skills, however they soon found out that Mai had little potential with magic while Jess seemed to take to it like a duck to water. So instead he trained Jess in magic, and spared with Mai (while holding back a lot) to improve her fighting skills.
The group hadn't been together for long when they found Ethel, Mai immediately becoming smitten with Ethel and treating her more like a pet than a person. Suffice to say, she was definitely wanting Ethel to join their group and managed to talk Jess into agreeing with her as well.

Personality: Mai is very stubborn, sarcastic, a little bossy and a little rude. Despite this she seems to be the mother of the group, making sure that they're eating, not having any problems and all that. She doesn't like showing her true, caring self to the outside world, for others might consider her weak. Close friends are the only ones who know about her true nature. She and Sora clash often, however she seems to respect his strength and enjoys arguing with him.

Jess learned ice magic from a member of the dark guild she and her sister Mai had joined briefly, however she hadn't gotten far before the guild was disbanded. After that she became to experiment and soon enough she made it her own, unique magic which really developed after she received training from Sora.
Using her magic, Jess not only commands ice but manipulates it to her will, creating shapes, weapons and even animals and can use weaker mages ice against them. She read a lot about Gray Fullbuster and idolises him, as such she adopted a lot of his spells into her own due to her vast ability to manipulate ice into shapes.
She has a high degree of control over her magic, to the point where she can make detailed ice sculptures and even freeze over entire towns.

Personality: Jess, much like Ethel, is generally seen as serious and rational. However, she does enjoy having conversations and being social (unlike the rest of her team) and is a lot more emotive than Ethel. When excited she becomes a little bundle of never ending chatter and energy.

Magic:
Well of Creation: This magic can pull from the users imagination, but requires immense levels of concentration and magic reserve. The user must have a solid grasp on the item they wish to create, a firm and solid image in their mind. Without a solid image, you might end up fighting with a squiggly line for a sword. This means only the things he has practiced the hardest are capable of being brought out in the midst of a tough combat.

Small objects tend to be the easiest to create. Requiring less magical energy, though they tend to have the least amount of punch. Intricate items require more focus, though the size is what determines the magical cost of said item. A chair for example wouldn’t eat up too much magical energy and can be created rather easily.

Though a large object, such as say a wooden beam, a tree, a carriage etc. Would eat up a much more substantial amount of magic. To add decoration and such wouldn’t require much more in the way of magic, but the amount of concentration would be much more substantial.

Some Spells would include, for the minor range-

Sword Creation: Creating a sword of stern magical strength, though the skill to use it well doesn’t come along with the blade.

Armor Creation: Creates a decent set of armor for the user, though their movements may become a bit more sluggish, their defenses can go up at least.

Chair Creation: Everyone needs a place to sit.

Magical Bomb: An explosive created utilizing magic as it’s detonator.

Medium Range Spells Would include-

Armor Golem: A suit of armor, with weapon, capable of moving on the command of the user.

Tracking Beast: A small creature, the size of a normal house cat, though this creatures entire purpose in life is sniffing out the target.

History: Verick was born to a father and mother in the mountains of a small country. His father was a practitioner of magic and the only reason he had found himself a wife was in order to continue passing down his magical knowledge. His purpose was to try to force his son to pass on his knowledge to his own son… etc. etc.. eventually culminating in the most powerful mage since Zeref. Though this plan was short lived. His father was found out, practicing illegal magic.

Verick was out gathering fire wood at the time and luckily had escaped capture himself. But was forced to live on his own from that day forward. He practiced his magic in secret, traveling from town to town so he wouldn’t end up caught like his father… Though he had no idea of guilds until he reached fourteen. Now he’s been searching for something worthwhile, a guild where he can settle down… and get filthy rich. (Living on the streets so long and always forced to be in that mountain home… He never got to have any toys or books outside of magic… now he craves everything he never had as a child.)

Personality: Verick is a happy go lucky guy on the outside. But he tends to press buttons and get on peoples nerves. He believes that by pressing their buttons you see the true person. He is mistrustful of people, seeing as how he was raised and the life he lived afterward, never knowing when people might see him or turn him in. Though he longs for the kind of life that others had, a family, friends… people to care for him. But he often sabotages these relationships.

Three Weaknesses: (Make them Applicable)

1. Has a hard time focusing when an enemy appears to be stronger than him. (He becomes overwhelmed with doubt and worry. "C... Can i beat this guy...?) Making his magic much harder to control.

2. Money- He's willing to do anything to obtain his lifes blood. Money. Even if it requires putting a comrade in a dangerous position. (Think Natsu when he teamed up with Lucy for that book job... But all the time.)

3. Has a hard time getting to know or trust others. Because of this and his habit of using comrades to obtain money, it makes it very hard for him to form any kind of relationship or friendship.

Greatest Love: Money, There is nothing in this world greater than the almighty dollar (Or Jewel in this case)

Motivation: To obtain enough magical energy and power... TO CREATE A MANSION TO RIVAL ANY KINGS CASTLE!!! With an army of golems at his side! WAHAHAHAHA! (His true motivation, is to overcome his trust issues, and seek out friends and comrades.)

Magic: Barrier Magic

Moonless Gown: A simple yet extremely versatile type of magical art. The main usage of this ability is to create incredibly resilient magical barriers of various sizes and shapes. The barriers have the ability to be cast almost anywhere and can even be activated on reflex to protect the user. The strength of said barriers is great enough to withstand blows from a manner of high-tier magical beasts and can even resist multiple high-class magic spells before breaking, though this is greatly influenced by the wielder's state of mind and magic reserves.

Alan's creativity has allowed him to use his barriers for a range of functions, including but not limited to:

Personality: Generally a kind, friendly individual who tries to see the good in people but is by no means stupid. He prefers honesty and devotion and dislikes secrets and liars, even if they were told for good reason. Has a strong sense of justice and loyalty and will refuse to leave someone behind. Is also willing to disobey orders if he feels they are stupid or go against his own values. Is also very studious and works hard to train his magic, and as a result, he sometimes gets annoyed by his partner's antics.

to actually wielding weapons.

Motivation: To regain Aura's scattered fragments and earn his father's love and respect, along with making a name for himself in the world.

Additional Details: Typically carries around his mother's diary as it seems like one of the few things that ties him to her. He also uses his barriers for a range of everyday tasks, such as carrying heavy loads for him, creating protection from the weather, and even chairs to sit on.
