Ha, so I was looking back on the original anuria and the nation I made. It got accepted and I'm thinking of using them again.
However, I pulled them out early because I started playing an npc under sigma and isotopes' respective army's which was far more rewarding.
So, "cool story bro" applies here. Right?
Imho, we have a well rounded group of nations and the juggernaut I brought last time wouldn't quite fit in with this version. Would anyone be upset if I played as a solo/group of characters?
How much bigger? The scale of the Ashtar is prone to wild variations. In this RP I'm trying to sit them as very 'other' and external, but not over the top. So extragalactic, but not multi-galactic.
Hop on the pad sometime, I've actually been thinking about trying to put together an RP with the Ashtar + Coalition vs Sakturi at "full size".
Alrighty, stuff has been discussed in the pirate pad and Monkey has made a decision to participate, playing as characters for the jasaran federation. He's got a neat opening post coming up(inspired by me :P ), and it requires an enemy fleet to move that story forward. So, who'd like to volunteer for that role?
@Sigma The Ashtar do love fleet related activities, and have no shortage of cannon fodder for the plot's sake. @Monkeypants Feel free to grab as many corvettes and cruisers as you need.
Oh and for reference, the 'default' setting on Ashtar characters is "arrogant space elf", a la Advent/Eldar/Protoss etc.
Aight, gonna be a fun intro but one question, what do your ships look like? You don't need a pic because those dont always do them justice.. But some descriptor would be nice !! :) thanks bro.
[@Everyone] I am technically done with the Treaty's wording on piratepad. Any input are welcome. I made it somewhat vague so people don't get constrained with it unreasonably. You can be a nice nation or an evil mass murdering empire yet you can more or less uphold the Treaty regardless.
