Talay-a Gunosh

Archon of Water, Princess of Atlantis

Talay-a made her way out of the room they had all conjugated in, and went off to find her bedroom. Or at least one suitable for her, since she didn't plan on staying long.

You cannot leave, this is your fight. Andromeda was quick to rebuke that and Talay-a glared at the nearest wall.

"You don't know that these are the people are necessarily the good ones. Just because there's someone you know in their heads, doesn't mean the vessel themselves are good." Talay-a informed her as she went into a random room. It was a large room, not as large as her suite but it would do for now. It was a ring of dry land, with stuff like closet space, a desk, the stuff that can't go in water because surrounding her bed was basically a moat. Judging by what she could see, although she could see the bottom, it looks pretty deep. It was pretty, she would give them that. At the end of the day, she wasn't cut out to be the hero, though. So she skipped across the water and collapsed on the bed, feeling herself start to drift and the exhaustion of exerting so much power taking over.

"People always have two fatal flaws. They want power over others and they want others to know they have power. You can't have one with the other. If you have power, it cannot be known to others because then your power is reliant on people other than yourself and you no longer have that power. If it's not known, then you keep your power over those people." Talay-a's stepmother has taken over teaching her how to be a female apparently since her mother was always so busy. Her stepmother was young, younger than her father and mother despite already having two children, and she liked Talay-a despite Talay-a's parentage.
"What if I don't want either?" Talay-a asked her curiously but her stepmother's gazed bored into her.
"You always want power Tay, always. There's nothing better than being able to manipulate people to the highest reaches of Heaven or the lowest pits of Hell." Talay-a nodded like she understood. And while at that moment she didn't understand she would.

Talay-a woke up wondering where she was for a brief second. She quickly remembered and sat up in the bed. She walked over to her closet area and put on a pair of soft pants and a tunic, with her hair still in it's braid and her cuffs still on her arm. She decided to go wandering, to find out what she could of her new residence.

ICE - Docia - In her newly found bedroom

She was tucked away at this point, sleeping in a fur blanket on a bed made of ice. The light that flowed into the room was distilled and fogged from the ice the room was made of. The room was below freezing, as a reflection of her inner self. She made sure to avoid all others on the way to the room, as an extra effort. A few moments of bliss and soon she was back on her feet. Her bare feet gripped to the ice floor below her and she walked along its surface with grace. Her sundress flowed behind her lightly.

After leaving her corridor, she found herself back in the midst of some of the others. Without saying another word she curtsied to anyone who spotted her and moved to the meeting room quietly. She found a seat off on one of the sides of the long metal table and waited politely.

She felt Taurus the Silent move inside of her, for he too was under a lot of stress.

Archeon of Darkness

The click of a lighter, and then bubbling is heard throughout the dark space. Exhale.
"Damn, Eredos, this temple has everything." Gideon chuckled, and wiped the drool off his jaw. Smoke could be seen flowing out of his bedroom into the hallway. "Only the sober appreciate sobriety." Eredos hissed, and Gideon replied promply, "Do you always have to sound so menacing?". There wasn't a reply. A few moments past, and Gideon began drifting off into thought. "Your dream that night was quite intriguing, do you remember?". "Of course I do. And it's tempting." Gideon replied aloud, reimagining figures dancing around him and a new beginning.

Gideon stepped outside his bedroom in newly dawned clothing, wearing a hoodie sleeved rolled and black joggers alongside his iconic respirator.

Gideon exhaled when he left the room, and smoke left the vents on the respirator. The thin fog smelled faintly of Marijuanna. If ones perception was high enough, they might realize he's simply constantly dosing himself with the drug rather than protecting himself from the elements of the air. It was there he saw Talay, and she began to wander. Gideon trailed behind her, cleaver mounted on his back. He wasn't stalking, he was just curious about her findings. If she spotted him, he'd conversate.

Subject 17, Archon of Sound

Everyone walked off in various directions. 17 had no idea how to find his room. He sat and thought for a time, content with the quietness of the lobby that they all rifted into. He heard several pairs of footsteps coming from all around, followed by gasps of excitement when everyone found their respective rooms.
He just barely heard the crackling warmth of a fire. It wasn’t necessarily chilly in the main room, but the warmth of a fire was always a pleasant sensation. He got up and followed the sounds. After a long time of wandering, he still hadn’t found the fire. Perhaps it went out, or maybe the door it was hidden behind closed, preventing the sounds from penetrating their barrier. So he sat and listened again, seeing no point in making his way back through the corridors. There was no draft of air. There were no scents other than his own. Only maddening silence.

He put on his headphones.

Still silence.

He took them off.

He took his backpack off and shuffled through his messenger bag. It had been a while since he last injected. Five hypos were left. That would get him through five days if he stretched it. He injected one before placing it back in his bag. He took off his goggles and bandana, leaned heavily against the wall, and fell asleep somewhere between the Library he was chasing and the main halls.

Aella

Finding herself lost in the book, Aella actually had troubles reading it, a first for her. It was in the most primitive form of her people's language. The only reason she could even communicate with everyone that had shown up at the temple was that she understood the human language of English. Not extremely well, but at least it was a start. The bookish girl started to get the hang of the language pattern, focusing on the teachings of the elders. They had at least taught her how to read this text, since most of the temple's signs and such were in this language, but it was still more advanced then she ever progressed.

"Aella," the silver haired girl heard in her head, "There are better things you could be doing with your time." Aella sighed and answered, "Like what? I'm supposed to be finding answers, right? Isn't this the place for them?" She continued to read, trying to block out Sagittarius's wispy voice. "You need to talk to them...They're our friends, Aella..."

"They're your friends," Aella interrupted, "Until they prove themselves as trustworthy, I will not be calling them anything other than strangers."

"Well, maybe you should put yourself out there. They won't be your friend until you become approachable," Sagittarius sassed back and the silver haired girl frowned. The large book slammed shut as she stood, her face mirroring the annoyance she felt. "You know what? Fine... I'll do what you say. But, I'm taking a few books with me so that I can read them when I get time," Aella growled, forcing herself to trudge to the shelves. She grabbed a few titles that seemed interesting, trying to read up on the universes the others were from. She grabbed one from Atlantis, Estellos, Earth (in an effort to understand the woman she just yelled at), and had two from her own, Volos. "That'll start," she smiled to herself, carrying the stack of books with her towards the way she came from.

She passed a few empty rooms, and even that weird mouthless guy passed out on the floor. Skirting along the opposite wall, she continued on her way. All of a sudden, she spotted Maddie and Ian talking. She ducked into a room to avoid them, not ready to apologize for her own actions earlier. Facing the closed door, she felt a weird sensation tingling up her spine and she turned, not knowing what to expect. A gasp left her lips as she looked at the relaxing room around her. She felt at home since it looked to be a fancier version of things that came from her home. She laid the books down on the table across from the bed.

"Is this mine," Aella finally asked and Sagittarius answered, "Yes." Smiling wide, she started to explore the space. She looked within the small door next to the door to the hallway and found a closet full of outfits. She looked at one carefully, and found that it would probably fit her like a glove. Placing it on the bed, she walked to the only other door in the room. When she opened it, a beautiful bath chamber revealed itself. Taking it all in, she ran her hands along the beautiful cabinets and sink, sighing with content. Splashing her face with water, she sighed and rubbed her temples.

“I guess I should go try to mend bridges,” Aella said to herself with a sigh. She first, walked into the other room and changed into the outfit (2) she laid on her bed, since her armor was quite uncomfortable for lounging. She sighed before heading out into the hallway. Maddie and Ian were still talking, but she couldn’t make out what they were saying. She did have to apologize and did have something to say to Ian as well.

Walking up, Aella smiled, directing her attention to Maddie first, “Sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to apologize for my behavior earlier. The stress of everything going on got to me. And Ian, I want to say that I will back you if it comes down to who becomes leader, you…seem to have a level head on your shoulders, given the situation.” She sighed and bit her lip, before asking, “Are we going to try to get everyone together?”

Talay-a Gunosh

Archon of Water, Princess of Atlantis

Talay-a was wondering through the hallways, and it was a testement to just how much she'd let her guard to down when she realized someone had followed her. Within a second she had her blade out and held it to his throat, glaring at him.
"Why were you following me?" Talay-a asked him, looking him up and down. He looked human, albeit a bit dustier than the average but she should know at this point not to judge a book by it's cover.

Enough Talay-a, he's done nothing to reserve the wrath of your swords, and we need his trust. Erebus was bound to the Archon of Light to balance him out for as long as I can remember. He's...let's just say there was a reason he hasn't had his own vessel. Making his vessel trust you will go a long way.
Talay-a took a few seconds to identify her options and decided the best one would be indeed to sheath her sword and take a few steps back.
"My apologies." Talay-a didn't know how to explain herself further, as she waited a seond to see if she'd get any sort of responce, although she didn't expect one.

Jacky

Jacky wandered the hallways for sometime looking for an idea as to what he should do. His wandering hadn't really been as enlightening as he had initially expected. Perhaps reconvening with the others at some point would be more fruitful in providing him a concrete goal.

Ah yes! I almost forgot, you will need a room! Simply enter one and imagine anything and the room will morph to your whim. Amazing!

Jacky found a hallway of rooms that seemed to be a good place to select a room. At the end of the hall he watched as tufts of smoke trailed out of a darkly lit room. Jacky smelled the familiar odor, a substance his old friend Roy had been quite fond of. His fellow Archons seemed to be getting comfortable quickly.

Apprehensively his hand gripped the handle of a nearby door and turned. The door gave a soft creak as it opened and Jacky entered the room. The light change made him squint for a moment while his eyes adjusted to the room before him. The room he had entered was luxuriously decorated with marble walls and large dangling chandeliers. It was excessively lavish and it reminded him of a villa he had stayed at in a time gone by. The dark windows flickered on and played the image of a sunny beachfront, How nostalgic, Jacky mused as he paced the room. He set his violin down on the granite coffee table and changed into cleaner clothes. Satisfied, Jacky left his room and set off to find more things.

Eventually, Jacky found himself entering the meeting room. Upon entering he discovered he was not alone. A woman sat seated at the long table already, her hair was white and she wore a blue dress. He had seen her at the rift area where the Archons had gathered. It pained him but her name escaped him, perhaps she had introduced herself after he had left. She was a pretty woman but the air around her had a chilling property to it, and though she appeared younger than him there was a look in her eyes that told a different story.

Ah, I do believe this is the host of Tauros! An odd one for sure but truly one you can trust, my boy!

Initially taken off guard by her presence and chilling aura, Jacky had almost reflexively used his powers. He felt a soft rumble beneath his feet as the rock beneath the floor shifted and moved. Quickly, he regained his composure and gave a polite bow to the woman. "Good evening, I am Jackson," He held out his hand. "You must forgive me, I do not believe I have heard your name yet." He was not one for conversation but a lack of manners was simply disrespectful as the Boss would've said.

Ian Marcus, Archon of Gravity

Ian raised both his hands in front of his chest with his palms out. "whoa whoa whoa. I never said I wanted to be leader" He said to them. He hadn't really thought about it at all but It wouldn't be particularly a bad thing.. He could probably do it. He had worked close to the captain aboard the Guilty Sin and captained a few away missions on various planets throughout his time on the ship and he had a semi-decent understanding of leadership. "The only reason I seem better at this than everyone else is because I got here first. But if you want me to try to keep order, I do believe that everyone that is here has unique traits and strong suits to bring to the table. If we can just get along and learn to use our powers I think that the potential is outstanding" He told them. He had no idea what to say to these people who supported him as the team leader but if they wanted him to do it, he had little choice but to step up to the plate. "I'm going to look around abit more. I appreciate you all coming to find me" He reached out and shook each person's hand as he spoke, smiling with more confidence than he really had.

After the interaction with the others in the hallway, Ian quickly made his way into the room he had claimed when he first arrived to get a moment of peace. Once inside the room, Ian leaned back against the door with his eyes closed, breathing softly. "This will be more difficult than I anticipated, Lupus. I'm not sure if I'm ready for this kind of responsibility. The leader of the archons is a huge role.. I don't want to fail like the last one. What if all their deaths end up on me" He said into the empty air of his bedroom.

"We were weak Ian. Our leadership was flawed and our fighting styles relied heavily on non-archon weapons and vehicles. None of those things will matter when you come into contact with Thanatos himself. You must all focus on Truly becoming archons and mastering your respective elements before the final fight. if you don't.. the entirety of the multiverse is in trouble. He will not allow the power of the archons to escape him again"

Ian took a deep breath and headed back out of the room. "It's time for a meeting. everyone must know what Thanatos is trying to do and what we have to do to stop him" Ian said to Lupus as he walked past some of the other archons in the halls on his way to the meeting room. He stopped at the end of the Living quarters area and turned to all that still lingered in the halls. "I need you all to head to the meeting room now. It's time we learned what is really going on here and the part we all have to play in it" he called in a voice showing more confidence than he really had

Ice - Docia - Meeting Chamber

A stranger entered the room! Her small figure straightened, her milky white skin wavered and a slight blush took over at the moment of eye contact. Her bare feet laid cross and tightly together like a proper lady, and her toes rested at a point. Such an aristocratic form for such a whore.

He walked like a hooligan in her eyes, but none the less 'a boy'. In a thick greek accent she spoke softly like milk and honey to 'Jackson', "Docia." The D was thick and sounded like 'doh' and the sea uh. How fresh for someone who isn't used to strange accents. As she spoke she raised her hand daintily and touched her hand to his for him to hold. How bony, how cold, how pleasurable. The short moments after, a soft blush ran across the bridge of her nose.

"Master Jackson." She tilted her head, lowering her hand to gesture to the seat next to hers. "I want to hear you speak with that lovely set of manners .- gets me flustered." She giggled. Her breath that touched his face smelled of peppermint, and her gaze was piercing.

Archon of Darkness

"I was just interested in the webbed feet."
Then there was a click and a hiss of his mask, smoke puffing out the side like a thin fog. His body stood still, unaware totally of the situation. It was after she apologized he realized what happened. "Oh. You're Ok." Gideon smiled under his mask, his wavey brown hair bouncing slightly with a head nod. "Just don't actually slice me and we'll be square."
With the chainwhip in hand he dropped the cleaver-end to the stone floor, the loud clang arupting the silence of the corridor.

'She's familiar.' Eredos the Shadow hissed playfully. Peculiar and unnatural- it made Gideon's heart skip.

"I'm Gideon." He kicked up the bottom of his shoe slightly, "I skinned the Brothens to make these boots, and I lived like a hermit for the past years of my life. I like dogs, and I like using them to go hunting." He paused, squinting. "I also very recently realized the benefits of not being sober." A small puff of smoke left the resperator. "What about you?" he spoke heavily. He seemed so nonchelante~ and direct.

The sound of music was muffled as it drifted out of Haven's room through the thick door. Inside, Haven had plugged in her holopad and was playing her favorite songs. Thankfully the temple of Archons provided sufficient electricity. She'd find out the science behind this confusing building someday, but for now, she was grateful. There was a pile of clothes on her bed and scattered across the floor, surprisingly provided by the absolutely amazing walk-in closet that the room had made for her. It was hidden inside of the second door to the right in her room. The subconscious pick-ups that this room picked up on were perfectly executed. The first door to the room led into a gorgeous en suite.

Haven sang along to the music and danced in her spot while she hung up clothes in an ordered fashion. All of her clothes were categorized so they were easier to find. Although in a week the closet would most likely be a disorganized mess. She liked to keep things organized, for the most part. "You haven't even gotten to the shoes yet, Haven." Corvus said in a slightly sarcastic tone. Haven's ten minutes were almost up. Haven ignored him, continuing to let loose to her music as she put the finishing touches on the clothing section of her closet. She stood back and let out a happy sigh. "Ah! It's perfect. My dream closet in my dream room." She smiled happily, even though in the back of her mind, she wished that she was at home, with her own closet. The room flickered for a moment, but Haven pushed the thought away so that the room wouldn't change. "No. I must stay happy. Right, Corvus?" She turned to look at the shelves full of shoes and nearly fainted. "Oh, mercy" she breathed, sitting down on the plush, purple seat in the middle of the closet.

Corvus chuckled softly, amused by how she reacted to a shelf full of just shoes. "I don't think I'll ever understand this part of you, Haven." He said over her small murmurs of joy. "I'd hate to interrupt your mood, but it is time to go to the meeting. None of the hosts even know your names. You need to get out there and be friendly. The archon hoped that Haven was in a good mood after discovering her luxurious room. Perhaps this was just what she needed to go back to her happy self.

Haven let out a soft sigh and stood, stroking a nearby, gorgeous heel. "I'll be back," she whispered to it before heading out of the closet with a sigh. "I suppose I have been a little anti-social. Oh well." She plopped down on the carpet at the foot of her bed, pulling her boots back onto her feet. She then stood and went into the bathroom, braiding her hair before curling it into a bun at the back of her head. "Music, off!" She called, happy to hear her holopad respond to her voice and stop the music.

"I don't need to bring anything, do I, Corvus?" She asked as she walked into her room, resting her hands on her hips in contemplation. Corvus nodded. "Always keep the dagger on you. In case something goes haywire." Haven nodded and pulled the gold dagger from her satchel. She slid it into her boot, careful not to cut herself or the leather. "Alright! I'm ready." With that said, Haven smiled and stepped out of her room, feeling ten times better than how she had been earlier.

Haven hummed softly as she walked out of her room, locking the door behind her with the touch of her thumbprint. When she turned around, she noticed that the hallway had transformed. Now, a comfortable lounge sat outside of her room, surrounded by three other doors than her own door. "Hm. Neat." Without another thought, Haven headed into the main hallway, a slight skip in her step.

"It's time for a meeting. everyone must know what Thanatos is trying to do and what we have to do to stop him," a man's voice sounded from the hallway as Haven stepped into it. She slowly approached the others standing in the hallway, stopping just behind them all as Ian, the voice from before, spoke again. "I need you all to head to the meeting room now. It's time we learned what is really going on here and the part we all have to play in it." Haven looked Ian over again, noticing his new take on the whole "leading" business. At least he's comfortable with it, she thought to Corvus, giving Ian a soft smile. She looked around at the others, noticing that they didn't jump at the gun to get to the meeting room. "Well, guys? I'm just as ready to hear this destiny as you are." She said before slipping through the crowd and heading towards Ian. She gave him a friendly smile. "I'm Haven, and Corvus says hello to Lupus. He missed her." She winked at Ian before continuing past him, wanting to get a good seat in the meeting room. She didn't need Ian to lead her there. This place was like a maze, but as long as you focused on the room you wanted, you found it with ease. Corvus sighed softly. "I didn't tell you that I missed her. I just wanted to say hi." Haven simply giggled a little as she continued towards the meeting room. I know.

Maddie Tyler, Archon of Earth

Ian shook her hand, giving Maddie a brush off. Well that didn't go as I expected. She wasn't really sure what she expected. Maybe a thanks? For what though? For the group appointing him their leader? She knew that it was a heavy handed gesture that came with a load of responsibility. The poor guy hadn't even really done anything except show up first. Nevertheless, they needed a leader and he was it. Right before he turned to leave, Aella approached the two of them. Maddie's immediate reaction was to prep her defenses - meaning she needed some witty retort. Aella, however, appeared to have an agenda made of better decorum. She looked at Maddie first. "Sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to apologize for my behavior earlier. The stress of everything going on got to me." She seemed sincere and Maddie simply smiled, nodded her head slightly, and turned to go to her room as Aella finished speaking to Ian.

The room she entered was breathtaking. The view of the forest gave Maddie a sense of grounding and calm that she hadn't experienced in many years. "I thought this would make you feel at home." Eridanus said in a solomn voice. It was as if he found the view as relaxing as she did. Maddie didn't say anything as she took of her shoes, feeling the warm, wooden floor. She closed here eyes and could smell the trees, feel the heat of the sun, and hear the soft breeze. This was Earth. The spirit flowed through here and she knew she found her true place, right here in this room. "Maddie," Eridanus said softly, "Lupus needs us in the meeting room." She opened her eyes, viewing the deep jacuzzi off the end of her bed.

"Who?" she asked.

"Lupus," Eridanus replied. "She's Ian's guide, for Gravity."

"Oh. Alright." She put her shoes back on and headed out the door. She walked toward the meeting room, attempting to glance into the bedrooms of the others as she passed. She wasn't able to see much of anything, which was a bit of a disappointment to her. If she was going to have to be working with these people for a while, it would help for her to learn things about them - even if what she learned was to stay away from them.

While walking toward the meeting room, Maddie matched pace with a petite girl with long blonde hair and wide blue eyes. She decided to leap off the bridge first and introduce herself. "Hi, I'm Maddie Tyler. Archon of...uh, Earth. What's your name?"

Talay-a Gunosh

Archon of Water, Princess of Atlantis

Talay-a raised an amused eyebrow up as she slowly raised her leg up, until her calf was near her head. She wrapped one hand around her calf in support as she unfurled her toes and webbing. Her toes extended out so they were forming a straight line from her pinky to her big toe and the webbing in between was interlaced with silver veins.

The cleaver fell to the ground with a resounding thud. She dropped her foot and curled it back together immediately. It wasn't so much the sound that shocked her. It was the sound in the almost unnatural silence, like fresh blood on newly fallen snow. Talay-a wasn't used to the absolute silence of this temple with nothing living but it's current inhabitants.

This man, Gideon, kept talking and Talay-a understood some of what he was saying but The Brothen, dogs, and hunting were all unfamiliar concepts in her realm of knowledge. However sobriety, or the lack of it as it is, is something that Talay-a was very familiar with.

"My name is Talay-a, and I don't know what hunting or dogs are but I, too, have recently come to the conclusion that sobriety isn't in my best interest. I do like fish. Mostly to eat." Talay-a shared that information, before hearing Ian Marcus's voice overhead.

"I suppose we are being summoned like a herd to its Shepard." Talay-a sighed, as she held out a hand for him to take, before freezing slightly. That was a reflex of a noble woman, something she was not here. She could be someone she wanted to be here, not someone she was expected to be. This enlightening knowledge caused a grin to take hold of her face, staying even as she fought to compose her features, lest her newfound acquaintance thinks less of her.

@BreakingMe

Haven walked through the halls, her hips and head swaying to the beat of a song stuck in her head. She paused at a fork in the halls and instinct told her to go left. "You seem to be doing fine finding things around here. You're very connected with the temple." Haven shrugged. I think we get along well.

The sound of footsteps behind her caught her attention, and she only assumed that it was another person heading to the meeting room. Well, unless she was going mad and imagining them. Which wasn't as far-fetched as it sounded after what she had went through in the past week or so. Soon, the foosteps caught up to her and a dark haired, slightly taller than herself, girl matched pace with her.

"Hi, I'm Maddie Tyler. Archon of...uh, Earth. What's your name?" The girl, Maddie, said. Haven looked over at her and gave her a warm smile. "I am Haven. I'm the Archon of Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey." She giggled softly, hearing Corvus sigh in the back of her mind. "Time, I mean." Corvus shook his head.

"Silly girl." I'm having fun and breaking the ice. How is that bad? Corvus ignored the response. "Her archon's name is Eridanus. He is strict and brash, but is honest. At least from my experiences with him so far." Nice guy, Haven thought with slight sarcasm towards Corvus's evaluation of the archon of earth. "Say hello for me." Haven turned back to Maddie and smiled. "Corvus says hello to you and Eridanus."

Vanth, Archon of Lightning

"It's time for a meeting. Everyone must know what Thanatos is trying to do and what we have to do to stop him. I need you all to head to the meeting room now. It's time we learned what is really going on here and the part we all have to play in it"

Hmm let’s see what’s going on. He tucked his legs towards his chest, doing a kick up but landing on the floor instead. It has been long enough, considering what Ian had said before we all split. Heading towards the door, Vanth noticed there wasn’t a set of light switches by the door to control the lighting in the room. His hand rose to meet the wall on his way out, surprised at how the wall reacted to his touch. It literally lit up where he touched it, the lights in the room rapidly dimming as he pulled away. I’ll have to play with this more later was his thought as his stride took him out the door and into the hall, his pack flying through the air towards him as he willed it to do so.

As his path took him towards the meeting room he came across the mouthless monolith, ( @NefariusDestiny ) stopping as Vanth realized he was asleep. How do you wake someone who lacks eyes to see and a mouth to speak without alarming them too much? Vanth shook his head. You’ve clearly never worked with drunks or the disabled before, have you? Reaching over, Vanth began drumming his fingers hard on the wall in an attempt to wake the sound reliant being. Softly, he spoke, “hey, we’re being summoned to see the others.”

Subject 17, Archon of Sound

A female voice spoke out to him, clear, sharp, and purposeful with her words: “I am Etro.” Etro The Seraph, The Archon of Crystal. Strange, he had only just remembered her. Stranger still was that this particular voice was reaching out to him. “I need your help. I am trapped in this temple in a crystal prison, unlockable by the Archon of Sound, Gravity, and Time.” He didn’t know how to use his powers yet; he feared his inadequacy to help. “Have no fear, Archon. You still have time. Be wary, Archons have deflected in the past.” A sharp pain rung through his ears, followed by brilliant colors he couldn’t make sense of. Tap tap tap tap. 17 was annoyed by the sound. Tap tap tap tap. He felt his head pounding, the sound only making his headache worse. Tap tap tap tap. He only wished the sound would stop.

A soul piercing scream erupted from 17. The exact location of the sound’s origin was unclear, as though his entire body seemed to emit the terrifying wail. 17 seized for a moment before grabbing his ears in fear. The sound echoed off the walls of the temple, carrying itself through every hall and room. Any light from fire vanished as they were suffocated by the sound. When it dissipated, 17 slowly uncovered his ears. He heard the presence of someone else nearby and quickly put on his goggles and bandanna before gathering his belongings and standing to face him or her (@SeerOfNone).

Brynn, get up. We have to go to a meeting. Come'on, old man.
Groggily, Brynn looked up at the woman in front of him. He reached out and his arm went right through her, just like every other time. He sighed and stood up.
You know there's a bed, right?
"Yeah, but there's only one. It was your bed."
You're an idiot. I can't sleep.
Brynn walked through the temple, looking at all the strange rooms these strange people made.
"What the hell? How the hell can we trust these people?"
You just have to.
"That doesn't help at all."
Brynn sat down at the long table, near the middle.
Don't you always sit at the end?
"I want to seem like a somewhat normal person."
While you talk to yourself, right?
"..."
He noticed there were already a couple people in the room. It was too quiet. They seemed anxious.
I don't like this.
Brynn leaned back in his chair and fell to sleep.

Subject 17, Archon of Sound and Vanth, Archon of Lightning

17 and Vanth found their places next to each other at the table once they arrived. Vanth still had the headphones around his neck in case there was a need for 17 to speak up.

Maddie Tyler, Archon of Earth

"Corvus says hello to you and Eridanus." The tiny girl beamed constantly when she talked. She was like her own light source. Maddie found it intoxicating, if not a little overwhelming.

"Ah, Corvus. Archon of Time and overall nice person. Say hi back." Maddie scrunched her nose up at the idea. She turned slightly away from Haven and addressed Eridanus.

"No. You say hi to Corvus. I'm not your messenger. How have you guys not been able to figure out a way to communicate with each other yet?" As they entered the meeting room, she turned back to Haven, hoping the girl wasn't put off by the fact that Maddie was talking to herself. "So this is a little weird, right? I was just minding my own business at work and this necklace was sent to me," she gestured to the gem that hung around her neck, "and the next thing I know. I'm waking up on the floor with no idea what happened. Then Eridanus starts telling me all this crazy shit about the end of everything as we know it. How crazy is that, right?" She paused to look at Haven but the girls eyes looked somewhat glassed over. Maddie noticed others were starting to make their way into the room. She glanced back at Haven. "Are you from, uh.....where are you from?" She hoped her question would be innocent enough but looking at the others, the answer could be more surprising than she was expecting.
